...Chapter 3...

Reese has been walking around Charming for about an hour and passed by an elementary school, library, a few warehouses, fire station, police station, and a diner, but stopped when she came up to "Teller-Morrow Automotive" and remembered that Alex had mentioned those two names before. As Reese was about to walk into the lot, her phone rang. She took it out of her pocket and pressed the talk button. "Hello?"

"How the hell are you, Murph?"

"Alex?" Reese laughed. "I thought that you were napping?"

"Yeah, well, the reason for this call is to inform you that my phone is, in fact, on."

"Oh, I see.. who's the smart ass now?"

"That's still debatable.." Alex yawned. "Anyways.. Livvie is knocked out and snoring louder than ever. I can't sleep and I'm kinda bored, so where are you?"

"Actually, I'm over by Teller-Morrow Automotive and let me tell you.. I see a couple of hotties."

"Okay." Alex chuckled. "You had me at hotties, Murph.. let me freshen up and I'll be right there."

"Get the directions from Olivia's phone, so you don't get lost."

"Alright, see you in a few."

"Bye, Alex." Reese said, before hanging up, then put her phone in her pocket.

As she was looking around, walking further into the lot, one of the said hotties wearing a "Teller-Morrow" t-shirt and had a mohawk with tattoos on the sides of his head, approached her. "Hi, can I help you with something?"

"Possibly, but for now, I'm waiting for my friend to meet me here."

"Who's your friend?" he questioned.

"It's Alex and she's actually on her way here."

"Alright." he nodded. "What's your name?"

"It's Reese.. and you?"

"The names Juice." he said, holding out his hand and she shook it.

"Juice, huh?" she smiled, slowly letting go. "It's cute."

"Thanks.. so are you." he smirked, making her blush and turning bright red. After a few moments of awkward silence, he spoke. "Where are you from?"

"The hot ass desert we call Arizona." she paused. "But we're actually here in Charming, because Alex's grandfather was a part of a motorcycle club.. SAMCRO."

"I am a member." Juice stated proudly. "But who exactly is her grandfather?"

"From what she told me, he was one of the First 9. I mean, Alex found a box that was very well hidden from his wife that has a leather vest and some letters for certain people." she paused. "His name was Tom.. Tom Whitney." Reese noticed Juice's eyes widen a little. "What?"

"Shut up! Uncle Tom? Are you serious?"

Reese slowly nodded. "Yeah, why?"

"Oh, never mind." he shook his head. "So, who are the letters for?"

Reese stared at him for a moment. "There's one for a Clay.." out of the corner of her eye, she saw a jeep pulling into the lot, and park. "Oh, she's here." both of them watched Alex get out and grab the box, before walking over to them. Before she could open her mouth to speak, Reese beat her to it. "Alex, this is Juice."

"Juice, really?" she looked at him incredulously. "Did your parents not like you or something?"

"Yeah." he chuckled. "It's just a nick-name.. my real name is actually, Juan."

"Interesting." Alex nodded.

"Reese tells me that you're Uncle Tom's granddaughter?"

"Correct.. so, can you tell me where.."

"JUICE!" the three of them heard and quickly turned around. Reese and Alex saw a tall guy with white hair and another guy with long blonde hair to his chin.

"There's Clay." Juice started walking. "Follow me." then the three of them went up to them. "Jax.. Clay, this is Alex and Reese."

"Do they need help with something?" Clay questioned.

"Kind of." Alex nodded, giving Reese the box to hold.

Jax lit a cigarette and took a puff. "Well, what do you need?"

"I was told." Alex opened the lid and pulled out her grandpa's cut. "To return this back to you."

Jax and Clay gave her questioning looks, then Clay snatched the cut out of her hands. "Where the hell did you get this?"

Alex noticed the angry tone in his voice. "Wait." she held up her hands. "Before you get the wrong idea, let me explain." she took a deep breath. "My grandfather was Thomas Whitney - you knew him as "Uncle Tom" and this box that I found that was hidden away in one of the closets of his old house. The cut was in there as well as a bunch of old pictures and letters he wrote for some of you."

Clay stared at her for a moment. "You do have his bright blue eyes."

"Yeah." Alex nodded, with a slight smile.

"Alright.. I'll round up everyone." Clay glanced at Juice. "Take them into the clubhouse."

"You got it.. come on, Ladies." Juice said, then they followed him inside.

"Uncle Tom, huh?" Jax chuckled. "Does she know about him?"

"Not sure." Clay shrugged. "But we're gonna find out."

...

After Juice introduced Alex and Reese to the guys, all of them went inside the chapel, then Reese nudged her arm. "You okay?" she whispered. "You look nervous."

"I'm fine."

"Alright, listen up." Clay started. "Alex's grandfather was First 9. Uncle Tom was a major part of SAMCRO, which means that Alex is too, so we'll back her up with whatever she needs." he smiled at her. "The floor is yours."

"Thanks, Clay." she nodded, then took out six of the nine envelopes. "Growing up, Grandpa told me stories about his time in the club and I'm not gonna lie, I know a lot of things that I shouldn't, but I gave him my word to him that I wouldn't say anything and to this day, I still won't. He was, like, a father to me - since mine was never around - and he's taught me to believe in loyalty and to be trustworthy to the club - which I have proven many times for him.." she took a deep breath. "Grandpa passed away when I was 16, but before he died, he wrote a few letters, and recently, I found them hidden away in this box. The letters are for.." she read them one by one. "Clay." she slid it over to him. "Tig Trager, Piney Winston, Keith McGee, Lenny the Pimp, and Otto Delaney."

"Keith McGee is dead." Clay said, opening his. "Give it to me and I'll send it to his old lady in Belfast."

"Okay." she slid that envelope over to him and he put it in the inside of his cut.

"As for Lenny and Otto.. both of them are in Stockton Prison, so hand me there's as well."

"Actually." Alex started. "I got my own letter with all of yours and Grandpa wants me to give it to them two personally." she paused to think. "Though he didn't explain why."

"Alright." Clay lit up his cigar. "One of my guys will take you.. that's no problem."

"I'll take her." Jax spoke up.

Before Alex could protest, Clay nodded. "Done."

"Alex?" Tig looked up. "Uncle Tom wanted me to be your godfather?"

"Yeah." she sighed. "Grandpa convinced my mother to name me Alexandra.. so, he kinda named me after you. I mean, you don't have to."

"No, no." he smiled. "It's okay."

"Okay, now.. why wasn't he buried with his cut?"

Alex looked over at Clay. "Grandpa knew that Stella wouldn't do it, so he put it in a box.. I think knowing that someday I'd find it." she took out the little piece of paper and slid it over to Clay. "He left you instructions about what he wants done with it."

Clay read it over and nodded. "Okay." he glanced at both of the girls. "Go wait out by the bar.. have a drink if you'd like. We need to talk."

"Sure." Alex nodded, grabbing the box, then her and Reese walked out, shutting the door behind them.

Reese sat down on the bar stool first. "So, what do you think they're talking about?"

"Don't know, Murph." Alex set the box on the counter and sat down next to Reese, with two envelopes in her hand.

"Who is that for?"

"In my letter, Grandpa wanted me to give these to Jax - when he was alone. One for him and the other is for his father." she put both of them into her purse, then looked at the time on the wall clock. "I wonder if Livvie is awake?"

"Give her a call." Reese suggested.

"No, she'll call me.. once she finds out that I'm not there." Alex sighed.

Reese waved her arm. "I'm sure she's fine." she leaned in closer. "Did you see all of the hotties in that room?"

"Maybe." Alex shrugged. "There was a few."

"Well, I noticed the V.P. checking you out.. plus he volunteered to take you to deliver those letters."

Alex made a face, then slowly shook her head. "I don't like his hair."

Reese laughed out loud. "Geez.. aside from Nick, you are always finding something wrong with the guys that show somewhat of an interest in you. Why is that?"

"I don't know, Murph." Alex heavily sighed. "Maybe it's because, subconsciously, no matter what guy I meet - that wants to take me out - in the end.. I'll always choose Nick."

"Olivia, Amy, Zachary.. and even your neighbor Jay have been telling you over and over.. you don't need him." Alex glared at her. "I'm serious. You don't need to let him go and move on."

"Easy for you to say.. every time I try to, we just go back to where we started. We fight, we break up, we make up, we fight, then we make up all over again. It's inevitable."

"No, it doesn't have to be that way, Alex. He's the biggest asshole on this planet and I bet you my entire life savings - which really isn't much - that the hot V.P. in there, with his dreamy blue eyes.. will treat you way better than Nick ever could."

There was a long pause before Alex spoke. "Maybe, Murph.. but I still don't like his hair."

A few minutes later, the door opened, then Reese and Alex looked over and saw a woman walking in. "Excuse me?" she raised her eyebrow. "Who are you?"

"My name is Alex and this is my friend, Reese."

"Gemma." she nodded. "Now.. what are you doing in here?"

"Well." Alex started. "My grandpa was SAMCRO.. he was Thomas Whitney."

Gemma's eyes slightly widened. "Your grandfather was Uncle Tom?"

"Yeah." Alex nodded, giving her a funny look. "Why? Is something wrong?"

"No, no.. I just haven't heard that name in a while." Gemma grabbed 3 shot glasses and poured some Jack Daniels into them. "How's his old lady, Stella? Is she still crazy?"

Alex laughed. "No, the old bat is dead."

"When'd that happen?"

"Almost a week ago.. her funeral was yesterday." she paused. "And from what I understand - because I haven't seen or been around her in almost 8 years - the old hag was still crazy.. up until she died."

"I bet." Gemma took her shot. "I remember that woman was always off her rockers."

A few minutes later, the guys walked out of the chapel and scattered, except for Clay, Jax, and Tig; the three of them went up to the ladies at the bar. Clay cleared his throat, looking at Gemma. "I see you met Alex.. and Reese."

"Yes, I have." she nodded. "So, what's going on?"

"I'm taking Alex to see Otto and Lenny." Jax spoke up.

"Right now?" Alex questioned.

"Yes." Tig nodded. "You're the guest of honor and while you're gone, your friend can help us with the festivities."

Gemma nudged Reese's arm. "Anything to throw a party.. just go with it."

"Okay, sure." Reese nodded.

Before Alex could respond, her phone rang. She took it out of her pocket. "I have to take this." she pressed the talk button. "Hello?"

"Hey, Bitch.. I wake up and you're gone?"

Alex laughed. "I knew you'd call.. listen, something has come up, because apparently I have to leave for a little while."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Livvie, just trust me.. Murph will explain and I'll be back soon." then she hung up her phone and glanced at Reese. "You need to go pick up Livvie and explain to her what's happening, before she flips her lid." she handed Reese the keys to her jeep. "Once she hears the word: party.. she'll be all for it."

Reese laughed. "I know, right?"

Alex had took the shot of Jack that Gemma poured for her, then hopped off the bar stool. "Put the box in the back of my car and I'll see you later, Murph." she grabbed her purse and turned to Jax. "Ready when you are."

"After you." he smirked, then both of them walked out of the clubhouse.

"So, how exactly are we getting there?"

"My bike." he said, getting on. He put on his helmet and handed the extra to her.

"Alrighty then." she reluctantly put it on and got on his bike, then slowly wrapped her arms around his waist, as he turned it on.

"Hold on tight." he chuckled.

"Yeah, yeah." she groaned, then Jax rode off the lot.
