When he came again, Alpha shoved him against the wall with all her strength. He opened his mouth to speak but Alpha silenced him with a sharp slap.

"Shut up! Don't say anything, I don't want to hear it!" Her voice shook, eyes bright with unshed tears. The deamon remained silent, ruby eyes steady and cold. Alpha took a deep breath, searching those eyes for any hint of affection or warmth. Several seconds passed this way before Lucuis raised one dark brow, then a wicked smirk curled his lips into a sneer.

"What are you searching for, darling?" He stressed the word with disdain, "Love? Warmth?" He hissed this time, his grip vised around Alpha's arm.

"No." Her voice shook, betraying her weak state. She was angry, but she cared too much. The more she saw him, watched him, the more their bond came back to her. She didn't have her old self's memories, but the feelings returned. She felt a deep bond with Lucuis, depthless love, selfless affection, but she saw none of those qualities in the aloof deamon.

"You Lie." He barked out a laugh, "What do you expect from me? The man I loved was replaced with an almost bubble-headed blonde." The words were cold and cut deep, Alpha already had issues getting anyone to take her seriously because of her gender and the reputation for air-headedness the male America had left her. Yes she was loud, yes she was boisterous, but she was neither stupid nor lazy. She kept eye contact with the bitter deamon, refusing to break down and cry.

"I don't know what he saw in you. There is no love in you, the fact you can't accept me though I have changed just shows how selfish, how cruel, and how utterly clueless you are and were about me and him. If I were still him, I'd be ashamed of you." Her voice had shaken at first, but was solid by the end. She thought she saw a flicker of shame in those glowing red eyes but it was gone so fast she thought she might've imagined it. The emotion passed and he leaned down, rubbing noses with her torturously slowly.

"Can't hurt my feelings, love. Remember where I come from." His eyes drilled into hers, his skin wasn't even red from her impressive slap earlier. She smashed her lips against his, yanking his black hair downwards. A low growl came from his throat that went straight to her groin. His hand slid to her ass, groping it with strength sure to leave bruises. She sucked in a shaky breath, breaking the kiss only for him to devour her neck in hot kisses. His teeth grazed her ear, hot tongue caressing the shell. His breath rumbled across the back of her neck, but he didn't proceed this time. For once, he thought of Alpha as his new potential lover instead of a shadow of his former lover. He slid his arms around her, huggin her tenderly. Alpha's eyes flew open at this move, before she had the chance to say a word, Lucuis was gone like a shadow in the night.

"God damn him." She let her tears fall, wondering how her heart could feel so broken when she'd never known the love of this man.
