I'll keep it short. I'm bad at updating. But you already knew that. I know I won't abandon the story. But I don't update well and I apologize.

"What are you doing Kirito!? Don't just stand there!" Two expressions stared me down, one of anger and one of confusion, the latter being from Kirito, who moments before had a face of malice that I realized I wish I didn't see. "You yourself said we had to kill them," she paused her thought, waiting for some reaction from her partner. "Well if you're going to hesitate," the girl in front of me started up again, pulling her weapon back as it began to glow.

Seeming to just now regain his composure, the dark haired boy looked over towards her, realized her intent, and swiftly reacted, knocking the weapon upwards, her strike forward being pushed into the tree above my head.

"What the hell are you doing!?" she spat at him angrily. In frustration she pulled at her blade, ripping it out of the tree trunk and raised it at me again. At the same time she side stepped, putting some space between her and the black swordsman, eyeing him suspiciously. Reflexively I put my hand at my back, feeling the grip of my dagger.

He looked at her, his eyes hardened at the situation. "Just wait a second will you? This isn't a Laughing Coffin scout. I was wrong." A what scout? He lightly raised his own weapon and stepped between me and her, but not before resting his free hand on my breastplate, above my naval, telling me to stay back.

Breaking the expression of fury, she looked at him confused, her weapon faltering slightly. "How do you know?" She asked, voice firm.

His head turned towards me lightly and he closed his eyes, taking a deep sigh. Sheathing his weapon to show peace, he stepped back to the side where he could see both our faces and gestured between us. "Silica, this is Asuna the Flash. Asuna, this is Silica… my girlfriend." He slipped the last two words out in a defeated manner.

This is Asuna!? Wow, she's…. beautiful. And she has becoming armor. And… As I looked on incredulously, her expression changed from anger and confusion to shock, then hurt, and then anger again. Finally, it was replaced by a stony business-like calmness. She too put away her weapon and reached out a hand towards me. "Nice to meet you, Silica-chan."

"Uh… Yea! Nice to meet you, Asuna-sama!" I exclaimed quickly and bowed lightly. As I came back up, I eyed her, jealous of her… assets.

Turning to Kirito, the cocked her head towards me and asked, "So is this why you paid for an extra?" Eh?

Seeing the danger gone, Kirito smiled sheepishly with his hand behind his head. "Well, yea, although, I wouldn't mind extras for just myself." …Eh?

"So, why are you orange anyway?" Asuna asked as we began walking out of the woods. Her voice was friendlier but still skeptical.

Before I could reply though, Kirito spoke for me, "Well, that's actually my fault." He laughed lightly. "I kind of snuck up behind her when she was busy and she stabbed me by accident."

"I should have known." She sighed and shook her head downwards. Suddenly, it snapped up, her eyes full of sudden realization. "Wait. So when you were at Agil's… This is the girl…" Her voice trailed off and she began to walk faster.

"Eh?" Kirito and I asked in unison.

"Nevermind!" She almost shrieked out, bee-lining it towards a group of green cursors. I rubbed the bra strap chafing my shoulder out of reflex.

"She seems… nice." I started as we walked back to camp together after our recent teleport. Somehow over these days we haven't had any problems with other players seeing me as Orange. 'Bye Kirito-kun. Bye… Silica-chan. Another time,' Asuna's voice of our departure still recent in my ears, the slightest hesitation before she said my name stuck in my head.

"Eh. Maybe she just likes you, or wants to be civil around others. Who knows?" He said with a small laugh. Then his eyes jumped open. "Right! I forgot." He started, opening his menu and navigating it furiously. What in the world?

"Here we are," he continued, materializing a small box. Handing it to me, I opened it up and looked inside.

"…Sandwiches?" I asked. So this is dinner. Hm… Do I know any place that makes sandwiches?

"Not just any sandwiches. Sandwiches made by the only person crazy enough to bother with the cooking skill." He said with a finger up, pushing out his emphasis. "Asuna the cook."

"She's very beautiful." I started, changing the direction of the conversation.

He shrugged slightly, not bothering to acknowledge it.

"Plus she can cook." I continued, thoughtfully.

At those words, he grabbed my shoulders and turned me towards him forcefully. Looking up, I was met with serious eyes. What'd I… "No more of that. Got it? You are you and she is someone else apart from this." He gestured a hand between our chests, his finger pointing at our hearts.

I nodded solemnly as I looked towards the floor, feeling like a scolded puppy. [Only cuter]

"Bad Silica." He finished playfully, breaking into a soft smile, his dark eyes warming.

"B-but seriously… She has those…" I wouldn't let myself produce words, instead holding my hands about a half a foot from my chest in a cupped manner, seriously envious of her…womanliness. If I only had those, or at least more than I do now… I looked down at myself frowning. Maybe then I wouldn't worry…

"Hey," he interrupted my thoughts. Reaching out his hand, he grabbed mine away from my chest and interlaced his fingers into it. "No more about the 'Mighty sub-Commander.' Right now it's just us."

We glanced into each other's eyes as we walked, the hill overlooking our camp ahead of us.

Groggily, I rolled over, the morning light breaking through the trees in front of us. Rays of light filtered through, creating an atmosphere that was underwater-like.

Behind me I felt a warm presence. Kirito's body was glued to mine, touching from head to toe. Well, chest to toe anyway from his height.

Turning around, I rested my head against his chest hugging his waist. Arms encircled me and I realized he was waking up. "mm…" He let out with a sigh.

Looking up, I saw one eye open and looking down at me with a small smile. "Mornin' Silica-chan."

"Morning Kirito-kun." I started. He looks so handsome like that, like an older guy. Leaning up I pecked him on the lips lightly.

"What was that for?" He asked, confused but lively.

I lost eye contact as I shoved my face into his shirt. "Fefuz I fink I fuv foo." I muffled into his chest, face burning at what I just said. WHAT!? WHY DID I JUST SAY THAT?!

"Eh?" he asked, thoroughly confused.

"Nothing! Just because!" I shrieked. He continued his confounded look but shrugged and accepted it.

I sighed in relief. Well, at least I can always rely on his obliviousness.

Taking a deep breath, Kirito sat up, breaking my comforting position. Aww. I was so comfy. "So, today's the last day. Around noon you should be back to green." He said with a grin adorning his face. Soon the grin was broken and he looked down at the ground. What's he thinking… I wondered as he scowled at the dirt.

Getting up from the sleeping bag, Kirito sat on the ground across from me as I huddled under the blanket. Why do I have such an ominous feeling about this.

"Silica-chan…We need to talk."

Dum dum DUMMM!
