Disclaimer: I don't own spirited away.

The sea's vineyard -the sea's granary - the hollow-hearted promise of the current.

Lin quietly lead her through the winding hallways -their footfalls silent as they traversed wings of the estate Chihiro had yet to venture into, twisting and turning toward a destination she didn't know.

After a time the taller woman stopped, rounding on her -the place seemed indistinguishable from everywhere else in the hallway. Spectors of creatures -nothing more than shadow and song, swam through the space beyond, as if through the very air around them. Flashes of sunlight against scales, divided from them by not but the thin barrier of rice paper doors.

The sight made her shiver in remembrance, even as Lin kneeled before the door -their hands still clasped tightly together.

"Just be yourself"the older woman told her softly, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze before releasing her so that she could open the door. "-and don't be afraid. This is your domain."

Warily Chihiro nodded, closing her eyes and taking a deep, steeling breath as the door was softly pulled to, and the deep rumbling voice of the dragon rang out through the silence.

"I present to you, the Hanayome no Kawakami. Chihiro Ogino, of the Village by the sea."

And when she opened her eyes, she was in awe.

Note: And now we return to the plot, I hope you'll all enjoy whats coming as much as I enjoy working on it. As always though, reviews are a wonderful thing to leave.
