Chapter 5:
Sorry I haven't updated in ages but I will try to keep up with it now. It's going to go off the original story line from the TV show now. I'm finding a little difficult to keep with the story line so it's just going to go anywhere now. Please comment/favorite/ follow and most of all enjoy.
I jumped out of bed in the Salvatore mansion. I was having bad dreams since Stefan turned off his humanity and Klaus had left. Not to mention there's a little problem where the ghosts have taken human form. Luckily we have Lexi back and she's said she's going to help Stefan get his humanity back. I sat down and looked at myself in the mirror as I heard a knock at the door.
"Come in" I looked at the door in the mirror to see who walked in.
"It's been a while Wilde" I turned around quickly.
"John!" I ran up and hugged him.
"I'm back. Somehow. Care filling me in?"
"It's a long story. A guy did something that his dead sister told him to do to bring her back but it was a bad thing and now everyone who's dead is... well... alive" I tried to explain.
"Ivy!" Caroline burst into my room.
"Caroline. What have I told you about privacy." I moaned at her.
"Sorry..." She moaned back.
"Caroline meet John Hudson. John meet Caroline Forbes" I introduced them.
"I thought you said he was dead..." Caroline blurted out.
"I am... was... I'm not sure whats going on here but I am technically dead" John tried to explain while he was still confused himself.
"What do you want Caroline?" I asked her to hurry her out of the way.
"Damon wants to talk to us all" She said before walking out.
I walked down the stairs into the livingroom with John following behind. I sat on the arm of the sofa as Damon and Lexi walked in.
"As you all know Stefan's humanity is off and we all want it back. Lexi is the best at getting Stefan's humanity back. We have a plan but we need all of you to help us out" Damon spoke up.
"How exactly are we going to do that?" Caroline asked.
"Simple. We have him locked up. He doesn't have his ring on. We torture him" Lexi told us in simple form.
"Why torture him?" John walked from behind everyone.
"Who are you?" Damon looked at him puzzled.
"John Hudson." John answered.
"Who?" Damon looked even more puzzled.
"The vampire who helped out your sister when she turned. I was with her when she met you for the first time..." John answered.
"Well John the reason we have to torture him is because he has to feel the slightest feeling like pain or anger" Damon told him.
"You feel one emotion then you slowly let all of them back in" I explained more to John.
"By torturing him?" He asked.
"Lexi's done this before on more than one occasion." I told him.
"And it worked." Damon said.
"We only have a certain time aswell. Soon me and John here won't be here any longer. If we don't get Stefan's humanity switch back on by then I'm leaving it up to Elena and Ivy to carry on my work" Lexi ordered.
"Wait... Why me. I don't torture anyone" I said.
"You've finally stopped?" John blurted out.
"What do you mean finally?" Damon asked.
"It doesn't matter. I'm not torturing Stefan. End of" I argued storming out of the Salvatore Mansion.
I got in my car and drove to the grave yard to be away from everyone. I walked through and knelt by one of the Gravestones. I heard footsteps behind me thinking that one of the guys had followed me I turned around suddenly.
"Tyler... Right?" I said remembering who he was.
"Ivy Salvatore. What you doing in the Grave Yard?" He asked.
"Oh nothing much. Just wanted peace and quiet. What are you doing here?" I lied.
"Klaus asked me to check on you. He said I'd find you here" Tyler explained.
"Did Klaus tell you where he was?" I asked.
"No he didn't. He knew you would ask" He said.
"Well next time you talk to him you tell him that if he wants to see if I'm alright or he has a message to come to me not to send his hybrid" I argued walking off from Tyler.
I got back in my car and drove away. I looked at my phone to see Damon was calling me.
"What do you want Damon?" I answered the phone.
"I want to know where you are" He spoke down the phone.
"I'm getting some breathing space. Is that alright with you?" I snapped.
"No it's not. Stefan has no humanity and all you seem to be doing is thinking about yourself" He snapped back.
"Trust me when I say I'm thinking of Stefan in this" I snapped louder slamming the brakes on as someone ran in front of the car.
"What was that?" Damon asked concerned.
"Some idiot not looking that's all. Look I'm on my way back now" I said hanging up.
I drove back to the Salvatore mansion. I got out my car and walked into the house. Everyone was getting ready to leave again. Everyone was going to Stefan to start the torture for his humanity.
"You? You were the one who ran in front of my car" I said noticing the guy.
"Jeremy... What have I told you about looking before running across the road" Elena said appearing behind him.
"I'm sorry. I'm Jeremy Gilbert. Elena's brother" Jeremy said.
"Ivy Salvatore... Stefan and Damon's half-sister" I said.
"Can we get going to Stefan now?" Damon interrupted.
"Damon... Can I speak to you quickly? We'll meet the rest of you there" I told them.
"What is it?" Damon asked.
"It's something I never wanted anyone to know about me" I walked into the livingroom sitting down.
"You can talk to me" Damon sat down next to me.
"When I first got turned John found me but it was after someone else. I sort of fell in with the wrong crowd at the beginning. We used to torture innocent people for fun and I enjoyed it. Then when I met John I lied to him and said that I stopped but I still tortured people who never deserved it. It wasn't till John got killed by Rebekah that I stopped thinking that I might turn out like Rebekah. I'm scared that if I torture Stefan I will start all over again and I might not be able to stop" I explained.
"I'll take your place. You don't have to torture Stefan. Was there anything else?" Damon comforted me.
"Well you know your little newly Hybrid friend Tyler he's in contact with Klaus. Klaus keeps asking him to keep an eye on me" I told him.
"Who knew Klaus could feel real feelings" Damon laughed.
"It's not funny... Maybe a bit" I joined in the laughter.
"Come on. Lets go save our brother" Damon pulled me up as we drove to everyone else.
We pulled up. I got out the car and felt like we were being watched. I told Damon to carry on and that I would be there in a little while. I walked around to see if there was anyone around. I turned around quickly to find Klaus stood behind me.
"I got your message. You're really picky" Klaus smirked.
"What do want?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"One minute you hate me and try to kill me then the next your checking up on me through your Hybrid" I snapped.
"Just like you a bit there isn't it. You were all pretending to be all innocent but you were just playing me to get Stefan back you didn't give a thought about me" He snapped back at me.
"You think I was playing you Klaus. I have never played you. Since the first time we met I have never played you. I only went to Chicago to get Stefan back yes that is true. All I have done is try to find you or find some way of contacting you and I even hid it from everyone I know" I told him walking away a bit.
"Why would you do that?" He shouted to me getting my attention again.
"Because I care about you that's why. My brother is in there with no humanity and instead of being in there with him... I'm out here with you" I shouted back.
"Maybe you should go to your brother then" Klaus shouted.
"Maybe you're right... Just answer me one question before I do. All those years ago you healed me. Why didn't you just leave me to die?" I asked.
"It doesn't matter" Klaus said.
"Yes it does. It matters to me. You answer me this and I will leave you alone or whatever you want you can even let you Hybrid do the work but I want the truth first." I told Klaus.
"I felt sorry for you that's it" Klaus said.
"Don't lie to me Klaus. Please don't lie to me" I begged.
"You want the truth. Here it is. From the first time I lay eyes on you before the guys attacked you I had this feeling like a kick in the stomach. I followed you that day and when I saw the guys attack you I knew I had to save you but I made you forget so you wouldn't know who I was. Then in the 1920's when I saw you again and you hadn't changed I felt that feeling again and I have felt that feeling every time I look at you. That's why it's better when you're not around" Klaus opened up.
"What about what I feel and what I want? Did you ever think about that?" I said.
"You just got what you wanted. The truth. Goodbye beautiful" Klaus kissed my forehead before disappearing.
"Ivy... Damon said hurry up" Caroline shouted.
"I'll be there in a minute" I shouted back wiping my tears away before walking to Caroline.
"Is everything alright Ivy?" Caroline asked.
"Yeah. It will be" I smiled.
I walked into the room where Stefan was tied to a chair and they had taken his day light ring off and was burning him with the sunlight. He hadn't had blood and he was weak.
"Hey Guys. Could I have a minute alone with Stefan please?" I asked.
"Are you sure you're up for it?" Damon asked concerned.
"I'm sure. I'll be alright" I gave him a reassuring look as they all left.
"Is it your turn now. This should be fun" Stefan smirked.
"Look I know your humanity is there and so do I but I don't agree with the torture. I have a plan to get you out of here" I said.
"Why would you want to let me go" He asked.
"Because I know who my true brother is and it's not who you are now" I told him.
"What's this plan of yours?" He asked with a smirk.
"If I give you the blood bag it will give you strength then I let you out. All you have to do is make it look like you've broken out" I told him. After a while everyone came back just as I woke up.
"What happened Ivy?" Damon asked checking if I was okay.
"I don't know. One minute I was talking to him then the next he threw me against the wall and knocked me out" I said coming around.
"Stefan's loose. There could be god knows how many people dead now" Jeremy panicked.
"I doubt that. He's sat at your house waiting for you" Rebekah said walking through everyone to me.
"Rebekah. What are you doing here? I thought you wanted nothing to do with us after Klaus left" I said.
"I still don't but I also don't agree with what Klaus did to Stefan either" She said.
"What are we still doing here? We know where Stefan is" Caroline moaned.
"You guys go. I'll stay with Ivy. Oh by the way it's good to see you again John. Sorry about killing you" Rebekah smiled.
"Sure you are. You didn't seem that sorry when you killed me" He knelt by me.
"What are you still doing here?" I asked John.
"I'm going back soon. I'm saying bye" He said.
"It was good to see you again" I said.
"You too. Bye Ivy Wilde" He smirked.
"Bye John" I said before watching him leave.
"Well wasn't that just beautiful. Now you've had John and Klaus saying their goodbyes to you" Rebekah said sarcastically.
"How did you know about Klaus?" I asked.
"I was just walking around when I spotted you two. Don't worry all I heard was him saying goodbye" Rebekah said.
"Why do you hate me Rebekah?" I asked.
"I don't hate you. I'm jealous. You have this life with two brothers who love you, a guy who even though he pushes you away he still cares. What do I have. A guy who I fell madly in love with who didn't even remember me and is in love with someone else and brothers who don't even care about me... not to mention having no friends" Rebekah explained.
"How about we start again. I'm not saying friends but no hating each other or being jealous of one another" I said.
"I'd like that on one condition" Rebekah smiled.
"What is the condition?" I asked.
"You help me organise the dance. I'm doing it with Caroline but there's only so much you can take of her" Rebekah laughed.
"It's a start and we actually share the same view of Caroline. That's something" I laughed with her.
"We should probably help the others with Stefan. Afterall you were the one who let him go" She smirked.
"I don't think the throw up the wall was part of the plan" I smirked back.
I drove all the way back to the Salvatore Mansion and ran in to see no Stefan or Damon anywhere.
"Where's Stefan and Damon?" I asked concerned.
"You might want to check upstairs" Caroline said.
I ran upstairs scared one of them was dead or badly hurt. I ran into Stefan's room to see him lying on the bed and Damon sat next to him. I walked over to the bed to see Klaus by the window.
"I've set your Stefan free. He should get his humanity back" Klaus said as he heard me come in.
"Thank you. I thought you left" I said.
"I did but I can't be away from here. I brought a house and I'm bringing my family back" Klaus said turning around to look at me.
"That's... great... Anyway thank you again for Stefan" I smiled before sitting by Stefan and Damon.
I watched Klaus leave the room and heard him leave the house with Rebekah. I looked back to see Stefan waking up.
"Ivy..." Stefan said seeing me.
"Yeah I'm here. How are you feeling?" I asked.
"Sorry... I threw you up a wall" He grabbed my hand.
"Hey don't worry about it. What sibling hasn't thrown the other one against the wall" I joked.
"Actually talking about siblings... Ivy... How would you like to stay at Mystic Falls and live here permanently with me and Stefan. You can go to school and start a new life" Damon asked taking my other hand.
"Really? I'd love to" I smiled squeezing their hands.
