Chapter 7:
"Kol... Elijah... How did you get out?" Klaus asked concerned.
"Oh I see you got my gift. I thought it was time to level the playing field" Stefan said walking over.
"You did this Stefan. Why would you that? I thought you were the bigger man" Rebekah said shocked.
"Ivy... It's good to see you again. I see the vampire life worked out well for you. Rebekah... You look beautiful as always" Kol smirked.
"Look. I don't want any trouble here. everyone's here to enjoy themselves. Take it outside" I told them pushing them outside.
"How do you know the brothers?" Stefan asked as the Mikealson's went outside.
It was the 1890's. I was drinking some poor innocent guy as I heard footsteps. I stopped letting the guy drop on the floor.
"Don't stop on my account. Do you mind if I join you. I'm quite famished" This guy said walking up to me.
"I'm sorry. Who are you?" I asked.
"My name's Kol Mikealson. You're Ivy Wilde aren't you?" He smirked.
"How do you know who I am?" I asked concerned.
"You're the talk of New York. Every vampire seems to know you more than they know me and I'm an original" He said.
"An Original?" I asked never hearing about them.
"The first vampires. The Mikealson's. Without us you wouldn't be here now" He said.
"Aren't I lucky" I said sarcastically.
"You're a feisty one" He smirked.
"You keep the rest of him. I'm off" I said walking past him.
"Before you go. If you see a smart guy called Elijah tell him his brother Kol is looking for him. I'll see you around Ivy" Kol said before grabbing the guy.
"That's a story I'd rather not go into" I said to Stefan before going outside to check on everyone.
"You kept us in that coffin. When were you going to let us out?" Kol snapped at Klaus.
"I was waiting for one more of our family so we could be reunited all at once" Klaus stuck up for himself.
"Kol calm down. Tonight was supposed to be perfect and you're ruining it" Rebekah shouted.
"Rebekah... come back in and enjoy the rest of the night. We still haven't finished dancing. You too Klaus. Elijah... Kol. Come back when the dance is over and we'll sort everything out then" I interrupted their conversation.
"Good idea Ivy. Lets leave Kol" Elijah said taking Kol away.
Me, Rebekah and Klaus walked back into dance. As we walked past Stefan, Klaus went to punch him before Rebekah grabbed Klaus and pushed him away.
"How could you do that Stefan? Do you not know what you've just released?" I asked as Rebekah stopped behind with me.
"Revenged. His brothers have been trapped in those coffins and they're not happy" Stefan smirked.
"Do you know Klaus could have left you without your humanity but he realized what he did and came back to help you" I snapped.
"I thought you were better but you're just as bad as him" Rebekah said before walking off.
"You're taking their side" Elena butted in.
"I'm not taking anyone's side. You don't know Kol. He carries grudges for a long time. You don't know how many people you might just killed have by letting him free" I said.
"What and you do? You still haven't told any of us how you know them" Stefan said.
I walked through the streets of New York. I never understood why they called it 'The city that never sleeps' until I got turned. After meeting Kol I didn't know what to think anymore. The Original's were in New York. Well two of them anyway. I kept thinking 'How did they turn? or How did they become vampires? and Who else is in their family?' I stood still because I felt like I was being watched. I looked around slowly but I couldn't see anyone. I thought it might've been John but last time I heard he'd gone to New Orléans to go sort some business out. I carried on in case whoever it was came out of hiding or it was my mind just playing tricks on me. I finally made it to a Nightclub called The Phantom. It was sort of a vampire meeting club. Of course humans were there too we couldn't stop them but we didn't harm them either. I walked down the stairs and into the club. The first thing i noticed was a man by the bar. He was different. He was the only one in a suit. I walked up and sat next to him.
"You don't see many men wearing a suit in a nightclub... especially The Phantom" I broke the silence.
"You don't see many humans and vampires dancing all in one nightclub" He said.
"How do you know about vampires?... even if you have a point there"I asked.
"My name's Elijah Mikealson..." He started saying.
"You mean as in the Original vampire Elijah Mikealson?" I interrupted him.
"You've heard of me" He said.
"I met with your brother Kol a little while back. I'm Ivy... Ivy Wilde" I introduced myself.
"I didn't think Kol was in New York" He said.
"Well he told me that if I saw you to tell you that he's been looking for you... must say he's a bit full of himself being an original thinks he's a real lady's man" I said.
"That's because I am Ivy" I heard Kol behind me.
"Brother... since when were you in New York?" Elijah asked.
"Since I heard you were here and wondered why. This isn't your kind of place to be. You're not the brother who's into Nightclubs and women. Sorry about the intrusion I followed Ivy here" Kol smirked.
"I knew there was someone watching me... That was you" I said.
"Oh no... I wasn't watching you. I walked out of the alleyway and I saw you walking down here, so I thought I'd follow you and see where you was going" He explained sitting next to me.
"Then who was watching me?" I asked a little scared.
"I have no idea" Kol said.
"Who said you could join?" Elijah said.
"You were talking about me... that's normally an invitation. So, you think I'm a lady's man?" Kol smirked.
"Yes but don't think for one second that it's going to work on me. I don't fall that easy" I smirked back.
"Give me one chance to prove you wrong... What you drinking?" Kol had the biggest smirk on his face.
"Well... How do you know them?" Stefan brought me out of my memory.
"It really doesn't matter alright... Stop asking... I'm not going to tell you" I snapped.
"Ivy... go enjoy the rest of the dance... I'll sort our brother out" Damon said walking
"Thank you Damon" I said before walking back over to Rebekah on the dance floor.
Once the night was over and everyone had gone home me, Rebekah, Klaus, Stefan, Damon, Elena, Caroline, Bonnie, Tyler and Jeremy stayed behind waiting for Kol and Elijah to come back. After a while Kol and Elijah came walking into the gym.
"Please can we sort all this out without making any damage to the gym. We don't need to pay for repairs..." I said before anyone had a chance to say anything.
"I agree. I put a lot into making the gym look like this tonight" Caroline butted in.
"Fine. I won't hurt your precious gym" Kol said sarcastically.
"Kol... please don't cause any trouble... I managed to forgive Klaus for keeping me in that coffin surely you can too" Rebekah said.
"You know what sister... I don't think I can. You weren't in that coffin for as long as I was. Do any of you know why he put me in there?... Because he saw me getting to know Ivy... because he thought I was going to steal her even though she didn't know who he was because he made her forget him" Kol snapped.
"You were taking advantage of her" Kol snapped back.
"You were Jealous and you got rid of me instead of facing up to me" Kol shouted.
"You wouldn't have listened to me... You would've carried on even though it killed me inside seeing you two together" Klaus shouted louder.
"Wait... You did this to our brother for Ivy" Rebekah interrupted their arguments.
"You were the one who was watching me the whole time. I thought I was going insane. I finally found a bit of happiness in my life after 30 years of being a vampire and you ruined it thinking about yourself... Did you ever think how I felt?" I said.
"I'm sorry Ivy... I didn't think... I just couldn't bare it" Klaus apologize.
"You know what you can forget your apology. I don't care. You could've just introduced yourself instead" I snapped.
"You don't know how many times I tried but I couldn't think of how to do it at least not until the 1920's when I finally built up the courage" Klaus said.
"Look Kol... I'm sorry that you've been stuck in the coffin this whole time but isn't it just easier to forgive and forget?" I asked trying to find a way not to keep on the conversation of me and Klaus.
"I wish I could but I can't" Kol said.
"Please Kol just leave it and move on" Rebekah begged.
"Do it for Rebekah, Kol" Elijah said quietly to Kol.
"Fine... I'll won't do anything but don't think I'm going to forgive or forget... I play happy family when people are around but as soon as there's no one you can forget happy families. Stefan thank you for letting me free. Ivy... I hope we can see each other again" Kol said before walking out with Elijah.
Next to leave was Elena, Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy and Tyler. Then was Stefan, Damon and me. I never said goodbye to Klaus. I couldn't speak to him after finding out what had happened. Rebekah also left leaving Klaus on his own.
"Ivy... I'm sorry for everything" Stefan apologized.
"It's fine. I just never thought you would be the one for revenge. Even if it is Klaus" I said.
"After seeing how close you were getting with Rebekah I was worried that you were going to change" Stefan said.
"What because I forgave Rebekah and thought I'd be her friend because she has none or the truth because you were scared that I was going to go to Klaus and get hurt. After all I still stand by you every time you go back to Elena even though her and Damon obviously have feelings for each other even if they are small" I snapped.
"Stefan said he was sorry can we just leave it at that" Damon shouted.
The rest of the journey was silent. Once we got back to the house we all just went into our rooms and stayed there. Tonight wasn't how the dance was supposed to end. So much for the perfect night.
