Chapter 12
Sorry this has taken so long i have not had a laptop for a while and i have not really had much time as i was finishing college and dealing with uni stuff for next year so i thought id update now sorry about the wait again.
Since Esther has gone and Katherine vanishing everything seemed like it had gone back to normal. Well as normal as they can be. Since being Miss Mystic Fallls I've had to do so many things for the town of Mystic Falls. One of them falling onto tonight. I've had to help orgainse a whole town party alongside the other founding families. I didn't think that one cometition would create this much work afterwords but Miss Mystic Falls did.
"Ivy! come on we have to leave right now to decorate the place!" Caroline shouted bursting in my room waking me up.
"Alright Caroline i'm up. I'll be ready in five minutes I promise" I told her trying to get her out my room.
"Fine we'll be waiting downstairs" She said walking out.
I grabbed some clothes out my wardrobe and chucked them on. I walked downstairs to my brothers as we all walked out and set off to the school because for some reason Caroline thought it would be easier to have it at the school. I grabbed some of the decorations from the van and carried them into the school.
"Being Miss Mystic Falls has really took the energy out of you" I heard Kol laugh taking the box off me.
"Is it really that noticable?" I laughed.
"I don't think i've seen you so drained before and I knew you in New York and you were running a nightclub pratically" He said.
"Its just one thing after the other with this and having Caroline on your back 24/7 doesnt help much" I told him.
"How about I make everyone cover here and you go and take a nap just not at your house they'll find you there" He said.
"No i'm okay plus there's no where else to go" I said.
"Go to the Mikaelson place. There's no one home they're all here helping out. I'll come and get you in 10 minutes. Please you're pale from excusion" He stopped me holding his keys out.
"Why are you so caring all of a sudden?" I asked.
"Because you're pratically family and even though I don't show it I care about family... plus I owe you one from New York" He winked.
"What did I do for you in New York?" I asked confused.
"Take the keys and go sleep. I'm sure you'll remember at somepoint" He said.
"Fine... but you better turn up in 5 minutes and wake me up" I said taking the keys.
"I promise" He smiled.
I walked out the school and headed to the Mikaelson place wondering what I did for Kol but nothing came to mind. I walked into their place and lay down on the sofa and closed my eyes and fell to sleep.
I'd been spending time with Kol and Elijah for a while after I first met them. I was getting ready to go meet them at The Phantom like I normally do when I heard a knock at my door. I opened the door to see Kol stood there in his suit.
"I thought you might like some company on the walk" He smirked.
"Fine... just let me grab my bag and i'm ready to go" I said walking back to grab my bag.
"You ready?" Kol said holding out his arm as I walked out the door.
"Yes I am" I said taking his arm.
"May I just say how stunning you look?" He winked.
"You may but don't get any ideas" I said.
"I wouldn't dream of it" He laughed as we reached The Phantom.
"Miss Wilde... Mr Mikaelson..." The guy at the door greeted us as he let us in.
We walked in to see everyone vampire or human dead. Just blood and dead bodies everywhere.
"They were like this when I walked in" We heard Elijah say walking from one of the rooms.
"Who would do this? We weren't hurting anyone" I said shaking.
"Maybe you weren't but I heard two of my son's were here and I thought I'd pay a vist" We heard a voice coming from behind the bar.
"Father..." Kol said shakily.
"Hello again. Who's your friend?" He asked looking at me.
"She's not your concern father" Elijah said walking over to us.
"My name is Ivy Wilde... who are you to come in here and kill everyone?" I said pushing through the barrier that Elijah and Kol had made infront of me.
"My name is Mikael Mikaelson" He said walking towards me.
"Well Mikael I suggest you leave and maybe get some councilling because I dont think killing a whole nightclub of people is going to get you the best intention you want" I said.
"Well don't you have a firey temper. I like that... unfortunalty I don't like you so I think it's time that you joined your friends" He said as he pulled out a stake.
As he went to kill me with it I got a huge rush of adrenaline and grabbed the stake tried to push it away. I managed to grab the stake and chuck it at Mikael as he tried to escape. I walked over and saw his body lying on the floor.
"He's not dead you know?" Kol said.
"Maybe not but it gives us enough time to get away. I'll just have to call the police in the morning when it's safe" I said getting up and moving away from the body.
"Ivy... Ivy... Ivy!" I heard Kol.
"5 minutes up then?" I asked.
"More like 20 minutes are over" Rebekah said walking into the room.
"I thought it was only supposed to be 5 minutes?" I asked waking up.
"We were going to wake you up till you started mumbling about our dear father Mikael Mikaelson" I heard Klaus say.
"They grilled me first while letting you sleep. I explained the whole situation of New York" Kol said.
"I still can't believe you were strong enough to take on our father" Rebekah said pulling me up from the sofa.
"Me neither. I can't believe I forgot about it" I said looking down at what I was wearing.
"Don't worry I'll help you look presentable for tonight" Rebekah laughed.
"At least you look better... you're not so pale and you look like you have energy" Kol smirked.
"Thanks for everything Kol but I should probably get ready" I smiled.
"Come on then... this way" Rebekah said grabbing me and pulling me up the stairs.
After about 1 hour minimum we both finally came down the stairs all dressed up and ready to party.
"May I just how stunning you look?" Kol asked smirking.
"You may but don't get any ideas" I winked.
"I wouldn't dream of it" We laughed.
"May I walk you to the dance Miss Salvatore?" Klaus butted in pushing Kol out the way.
"You may on one condition" I smirked.
"What's the condition?" He asked.
"You'll find out" I winked grabbing his arm.
As we walked into the school I saw how much effort everyone had put into the place. There was decorations everywhere and the place just looked amazing.
"Ivy... where have you been? You haven't been here for any of the decorations... you better still have your speech ready" Caroline shouted running up to me.
"Caroline... just stop for 1 night... you're such a perfectionist... I wasn't here because I wasn't feeling well and I left so I could be here tonight. I have the speech all sorted out... Give me a break will you... I just want to enjoy tonight surrounded by people who I care for and actually like so just calm down and breath... please!" I told her before walking off.
"You going to tell me the condition of walking you here yet?" Klaus asked.
"After my speech when you ask me to dance then I will tell you" I smirked walking off to the stage.
"I would like to introduce our Miss Mystic Falls to give a speech about tonight and the founding families... please welcome to the stage... Ivy Salvatore... our Miss Mystic Falls" Alaric said welcoming me onto the stage.
"Thank you Mr. Saltzman for that introduction and I would like to welcome everyone here tonight whether you are part of a founding family or not. I've been asked to talk about founding families but in all honesty I didn't plan a speech so I didn't research about founding families but I can tell you what I know. I know that founding families are the families that made this town possible and safe also that I am glad that the Salvatores are part of the founding families because if they weren't I don't think I would've ever met them or found out their names. So I'd just personally like to say thank you for the founding families who made it all possible... the town, the saftey and most importanly the help that you give the town that alot of people don't realise you give. Now about tonight... don't get too drunk but have a good time afterall we deserve it... Thank you!" I finished walking off the stage hugging my brothers.
"Sorry to butt in but Ivy Salvatore... would you like to dance?" Klaus said putting his hand out.
"I would love too" I said taking his hand.
"Firstly... you look beautiful tonight" He smiled leading me onto the dance floor.
"Thank you... you look very handsome" I smirked.
"Thank you... secondly... now we're dancing... what was the condition?" He asked.
"Answer me one question" I said.
"That doesn't seem hard" He laughed.
"Do you see us being an item?" I asked looking at the floor.
"I'm not too sure love" He smirked.
"It's a yes or no question... love" I smirked.
"How's this for an answer?" He asked pulling me in and kissing me.
"I can deal with that answer" I smiled.
"Do we have to have a conversation now laying down the rules" I heard Stefan say next to me.
"Afterall she is our little sis" Damon said looking all serious but with a slight smirk.
"As much as I love you both could you at least give us this dance before you interigate him?" I asked sweetly smirking.
"Fine but just this dance" Stefan said as they walked off.
"They're not being serious are they?" Klaus asked.
"Only time will tell" I laughed.
