Chapter 14
"The bitch is back is she?" Katherine asked.
"Defiantly… Kyle won't know what's going to hit him" I smirked.
"Neither will Klaus… welcome back though… you've been missed" She smirked with me.
'Ivy… where are you? Alaric is here… it's time to start training' Kol messaged me.
"I'm going to have to go… let me know when you've found out who Kyle is bringing to this fight… and stay out of everyone's way… I don't need you dead" I said to Katherine before leaving.
I got in my car and went straight back to the Mikaelson house. I walked in seeing everyone starting to train.
"You look great… what's with the sudden change of clothing?" Kol asked walking over to me.
"Do I need a reason?" I asked.
"And the attitude change… it reminds me of the old you… is that it? You've gone bad again?" He smirked.
"Does it matter? I need to get rid of Kyle the only way I know how and that I will do" I told him.
"Let's just hope you don't go too far off the deep end… we still need you" He looked at me concerned.
"I know what I'm doing… trust me" I said.
"You better do… don't think we weren't listening… I know what you're like" Stefan said.
"Ivy… can we talk?" Klaus asked walking over to me.
"Sure… lets go for a walk… that way no one will be listening to our conversation" I said looking at my brothers.
"Let's go…" Klaus said taking my hand walking me outside.
"What did you want to talk about?" I asked him.
"What did Kyle do to you to make you like this?" He asked.
"What do you mean like this… there's nothing wrong with me… this is me… one side of me" I said getting defensive.
"I've only seen you like this when you think it's the best option… remember? The time I bumped into you at New York" He said.
"Oh yeah that was the last time I saw Kyle when I found out he was working with Mikael… I'm my best at fighting when I'm like this… you know that more than anyone since you've been watching me most of my life" I said.
"You do fight better when you're like this but you make bad choices… are you sure bad choices are such a good option right now… we don't even know who the person he's bringing to the fight is" He told me.
"Bad choices? What bad choices? The choice of saving myself and putting myself first for once… I know what I'm doing Klaus… I can handle it" I shouted.
"That's what you think you're doing but you're not… you falling into his trap of becoming like this… that's what he wants you to do" He said trying to calm me down.
"I actually thought you'd stand by my decision Klaus… don't know why I ever thought that because you obviously don't… tell everyone I'll be back later I need time to myself to breath" I said before running off.
I ran off into the woods where I always used to go to think. I went and slumped down by a tree when I heard voices. It was a couple having a nice stroll around but that wasn't it. I could just smell blood.
"Are you okay? That's quite a cut you got there" I said going over to them.
"Oh yes he's fine dear thank you for asking… he just tripped over a tree root and smacked off another tree… he's a clumsy so and so" The woman smiled.
"Well that is a shame… there's so much blood for just a simple cut…" I said holding back the temptation to drink him.
"That's what I tried to tell her but she just won't listen" The man laughed.
"Ivy... there you are… been looking everywhere for you" I heard someone coming from behind me.
"Tyler…Matt… why were you looking for me?" I asked annoyed.
"Your brothers were getting worried you've been gone longer than normal" Tyler lied.
"I was about to help these two… he's fallen over and hurt himself… he's bleeding more than usual" I said gritting my teeth.
"Let me see to that" Matt said walking over to him.
"What are you really doing here Tyler?" I whispered to him as he stood by me.
"Coming to help you… they don't agree with your choice to fight this guy" He whispered back.
"What and you and Matt do?" I said.
"I can actually see something about it that might actually be good… Matt doesn't like the fact that you have to be who you are but he can see your point" He told me.
"Well… welcome aboard… What a team… a vampire… a werewolf and a human" I smirked.
"We should probably get him to a hospital so they can give him some stiches and maybe clean it out" Matt interrupted.
"Great let's go… did you guys come in a car?" I asked.
"No we didn't…" Tyler answered.
"We have a car but I can't drive and he can't drive with his leg in that condition" The woman said.
"I can drive us there if you don't mind me driving your car… the quicker we get there the better" I smiled.
"No we don't mind at all… you've done so much for us already" The woman said handing me the car keys.
"Matt… Tyler… you help him to the car" I told them.
We finally got to the car after a very slow walk and I drove to the hospital where I dropped them off. I parked their car up and went and took them the keys.
"Hey Ivy… they've just cleaned his wound out... that wasn't know falling into a tree cut… that was a vampire bite… a lot of bites… there still adamant that he fell into a tree" Matt told me as I walked in.
"Hey… just a quick question… how long were you waiting there with the bad leg?" I asked them.
"Oh… I don't know we lost track of time" The woman smiled.
"The wound was that infected it looks like it happened at least 2 hours ago and they didn't move the whole time. Whatever animal did that to him took a lot of blood from him" The nurse told me.
"Thank you" I said.
"You thinking compulsion?" Matt asked.
"I'm not only thinking that… I'm thinking someone wanted me to find him bleeding… and there's only one person who would do that" I answered.
"Kyle… why would he do that?" Tyler asked.
"He wanted to test me… he knows who I am now… he wanted to see if I would kill him or I would help him... that's what he does… he tests people… including you guys" I told him.
"What about us?" Elena asked walking in with everyone else.
"Sorry I text them saying where we were they wouldn't stop calling and texting me" Matt apologized.
"He knew you guys would fight for me… but he wanted to see how far you would go to fight for me if I was like this or if you would just abandon me" I explained.
"What would he do with these tests anyway?" Bonnie asked.
"That I don't know… he's never done these sort of tests before…" I told them.
"Well me and Matt have already said we'll fight by your side no matter whether you're good or a little bit bad" Tyler said.
"As if we're not going to protect our little sister" Damon said looking at Stefan and me.
"You know I never miss a fight" Kol smirked.
"We not going to let you down" Bonnie, Elena and Caroline said.
"Me neither… I fight with my friends not against them" Rebekah smiled.
"I promised I would look after you… I keep my word" Elijah said.
"Klaus? What about you?" I asked worried about his answer.
"Promise me you won't make any bad choices" He said.
"I can't promise that but I will try… I need you by my side if I have anyway of coming back from this if I go over the edge" I walked up to him taking his hand.
"I wouldn't want to fight with anyone else… I'm here to protect you always…" He smiled.
"So what's the plan?" Caroline asked.
"Let's go save mystic falls from walking into any more trees" I laughed looking at the man in the bed.
"Let's go save mystic falls from Kyle and Mikael" Katherine said walking in.
"He's still partnered with Mikael?" I asked nervously.
"Time to go kill our father then" Klaus said.
