The Necessary Case
Chapter 4
Epilogue
Three years had passed, there were so many things that had changed for the cyclone.
Happy and Toby got married in February, three weeks before Paige was due to give birth. The wedding was held at a manor just outside of Los Angeles. The day was better than either Happy or Toby could have hoped, even though the guest list we kept short. The only guests were the rest of the team, Ralph and Happy's father. The day after their wedding, Happy and Toby left for their honeymoon in the Caribbean. Their honeymoon lasted all of four days before they were called home by an urgent call from Sylvester, saying that Paige had gone into labour in the middle of the night. Happy and Toby caught the first plane home and rushed to the hospital. As it took them thirteen hours to get home, the twins were already born when they arrived. The newly married couple burst into Paige's room, to find her cradling a pink blanket in her arms. Cabe was holding a blue blanket, sitting on the chair besides Paige's bed. Walter was sitting on the chair on the other side of Paige. Sylvester held out his arms gingerly when Cabe offered him the blue blanket he was swaddling.
"So, what are their names?" Happy asked as Paige handed her the pink bundle.
Paige smiled at Walter before answering.
"Well, you are holding Lily Megan O'Brien and our son, Liam Alexander O'Brien." Paige announced, smiling brightly at Walter who was now holding his son.

Ten months later the cyclone welcomed two new editions. Three months after their honeymoon, Happy found out that she was expecting, and it was even more of a shock to find that she was having twins when she went into labour. Throughout her whole pregnancy, even at the pre-natal check-ups, one child was hiding behind the other, so it was definitely a surprise when the doctor told her and Toby that there was another. The first child born was a girl, Amelia Curtis and the second baby was also a girl, Grace Curtis.
Happy and Toby we're so happy, happier than the rest of the team had ever seen them. Over the past twelve months, the cyclone had gained four new members. Happy and Toby's daughters were born just in time for Walter and Paige to get married. Much like Happy and Toby, the wedding was a small affair with a limited number of guests, which surprisingly included Walter's mother and father.
Although the size of their family has grown, the team are still a highly valued government asset, they had a sitter called Cara for when the whole team was required on a case.
Ralph was now 15 and in his second year at college. He was studying biology and robotics in Los Angeles so that he could remain close to the team.
Eventually, the team gradually returned to normalcy. Without distraction, or weddings or children, the team drifted back into their work when their children started school. School for the Scorpion children was not an issue. Much like Ralph, both Lily and Liam were mentally enabled like their father, but Paige didn't mind because Lily and Liam had 5 geniuses around them to help them grow up. The situation was the same for Happy and Toby. They were relieved to find out that both of their daughters were mentally enabled, it was one of the main things that they worried about, not been able to connect with their children. It took a while to win Paige over but Liam, Lily, Amelia and Grace were being taught by the team at the garage.
The team were content with the life that they were living. The life of the cyclone was blissful, and they were happy.
