Song: Infinity

Album: #1's to Infinity

Pairing: Jagan

Request: TRL

James has had enough! He has had enough of trying to put in work to his broken relationship. Especially since he was the only one trying to make things work out for both of them. James and his spouse, Logan, were enemies in their own home and it was simply tragic because of how in love with each other they once were. Their love story clearly didn't have a happy ending and he should have known that from the beginning. Logan wasn't the type of person that usually commits and he should not have expected differently.

There have been many tears shed by the both of them, but nothing ever got resolved. The crying only paused the fighting and made them realize how much their apologies did not mean anything to one another because neither Logan nor James ever meant it. They were always said just to stop an oncoming fight.

The tall brunet was laying down in his big, empty bed. Looking to his right, to the empty side of the bed, he realized that he and Logan haven't even slept in the same bed together in about six months. A saddened frown formed on the gorgeous man's face and his eyes became misty with tears. James and Logan were so good at first but then everything started to crumble right under their feet. They were known in the media as a strong couple but in reality, both of them could not take it anymore.

Rising from the luxurious bed, James walked to his bathroom and started to pull himself together. Today would be the day he filed for a divorce. He needed to be set free. The tall brunet felt like a prisoner and he knew than Logan did too.

As James thought the words divorce, his body shook with fresh tears and he wished more than anything that his body could push down all of the residual feelings for his soon-to-be ex-husband. All of their good times came rushing back. All of the smiles, happiness and struggles that made them stronger together came rushing back to the surface. But so did all of the lies, arguing, and infidelity on Logan's part. It was at this moment that James knew with more certainty that he had to do this because he deserved better. They both did.

The hazel eyed beauty got ready oddly fast. He just wanted this moment in time to be over already. As he grabbed his keys and made it to his car, his steps were slow and his heart fluttered. James was doing his. James was putting his life into his own hands. Driving away from his big, empty house he knew he'd be alright in the end.

"A divorce! Really James?" The short raven-haired man yelled on the phone. Logan had just got the papers that James had filed a week ago. He and James' management helped them from leaking all of the details about their marriage from coming out. But nonetheless, hearing that James and Logan, the power couple, have broken up has really caused a ruckus in the entertainment world.

"You know this was coming Logan… This is the best for both of us." Sighed James, through the phone. He knew this conversation was coming soon but that didn't mean he was ready for it.

"See, this is your problem. You always do something without talking it through with me first. Best for us? You mean best for you." Sneered Logan. Everything around him felt like it was caving in. James was leaving him. James was finally giving up on him.

"Are you done? Good. How about you open your eyes and see how fucked up us being together is and what it's done to us. I did this for us." Replied James, putting emphases on the word us. He was seated in his and Logan's living room, taking a break from all of the packing he's been doing.

"…Jamie…" There was sorrow in Logan's voice and he tried to push the lump down that was in his throat. The raven-haired male, who has been staying at their temporary home for some time now, shifted in his seat as he continued to talk on the phone. "Are you home right now? I just want to talk to you in person. I'm…Please?" He asked through a shaky voice.

There was a long pause as Logan waited for James to reply back. But then he heard James let out a breath before he muttered, "I don't think that's a good idea… I… Okay. I am home"

"I'll be there in a few."

As Logan walked up the steps to his and James' home, he felt some of his sadness turn to frustration because he wasn't able to save his marriage. He admits that he has done so many bad things and has torn down the one person that really had meant the most to him. Logan has cheated before, he's known for being a flirt and he thought with James it would be different and it was. Yes, he cheated once but he regretted it immediately and told James and never did it again. But that does not excuse his behavior. You don't hurt the ones that mean the most to you and now he has learned this the hard way.

Logan pulled out his keys, keys that haven't been used in over four months, to open the door. What shooked him the most was how mostly everything was in boxes. The home they once shared looked odd and out of place.

James greeted him at the door and Logan saw the change in him. The brunet's hair was different. No more long locks, they were replaced with a short up-do. His tan face showed more than Logan has seen in a long time. He just looked like he was starting to heal. Without him.

It was his own fault, Logan thought to himself. He asked the man in front of him for a separation. He was the one that broke their marriage to begin with. Walking inside the house more, the shorter male looked inside all of the boxes, finding that it was all of James stuff. Logan wasn't sure what it was but seeing James' stuff boxed away made him a bit mad and frustrated, more so at himself than his former partner. James could see it on his face too. He knew this was a bad idea.

"This is your stuff." Logan stated, it wasn't a question because he and James both knew the answer. The undertones in his voice caused James to get defensive.

James frowned, "Are you mad?" he queried?

"Hell yeah! I'm more than mad James. I'm hurt that you decided to make this decision of divorce without talking to me first. I'm mad that you don't want to try anymore. You are so selfish! Logan yelled, letting his anger get the better of him. He was not even necessarily anger at James either. Just upset that this is how far things in his life escaladed. Logan didn't mean what he was saying but he felt so utterly weak in that moment. James felt like someone had physically assaulted him.

A glared leveled in on Logan and he faltered as James took a few steps towards him. "Oh, so you're mad now? No, I don't think so. The only reason you're mad is because now you are realizing that you're about to lose the best you're ever had" James spat out, watching as Logan's face went to anger, then shame, to anger again.

"Urgh, you're so full of yourself, James! Fucking corny. Just. Like. Fritos!" Huffed the raven-haired man as he glared back. His arms crossing over his chest.

"Oh, I'm corny and you just said that? The show is over Logan. There are no cameras here. No paparazzi! You don't need to act like you care anymore!" Spoke James, the volume in his voice slowly increasing as he addressed Logan more and more.

Logan let out a dry laugh as he stared down at James harshly. Both looking at each other intensely and not wavering for a second.

"Who's acting here, James? You would not have anything without me! I got you here." The smaller man practically growled out. That was it, this is what made James snap.

"Don't you ever say that to me. You didn't get me anywhere. My own name holds weight in kilos in our business world. Everything you own, you still owe. I never wanted you for anything other than your love, but you couldn't even properly give that to me. You got me nowhere but a place of misery and heartbreak. You… You're pathetic to even bring our fame into this. And you know what I have realized? If life a fucking game, shit you're a fucking free throw- that would miss. All you do is us people and now I know that you did nothing but use me!" James was yelling again, his voice echoed in the hollowed house that was never a home.

Logan felt more of the weight on his heart cave in after that. He swiftly turned his head away from James and let out a shaky breath. He felt tired and his eyes were starting to betray him. Looking back at James he saw that he too felt the same as him.

"You are right, Jamie. Look what we are doing to each other. I am so sorry. I didn't mean what I said and it was just said out of anger. James, I am not mad at you, I'm mad at myself and I truly do mean this apology. I guess truthfully… I am through with this, with us. I don't know why we've been doing this to each other for so long now. I don't understand how we fell out of love but I can now fully admit that we have, and I-I'll sign the papers. But please know that I will always have love for you James. Always." Tears rolled down Logan's face as he spoke softly to James, who too, was crying. He walked over to the taller male and hugged him. This would most likely be there last hug.

"I, uh, I guess I should give you this back." James sniffled as he handed Logan his wedding ring. Logan closed his eyes for a brief moment before he smiled, a broken smile, up at James and handed over his own to James while taking the others.

"I guess there's an end to infinity…" Logan muttered, as he pulled himself away from James. He smiled on more time at James before his eyes looked around their house one last time. Sighing softly, he looked back at into hazel eyes. "I am truly sorry for hurting you through the years. You… You deserve better. I hope you can forgive me one day."

James felt another tear roll down his cheek. "I'm sorry too. I never meant to cause you so much pain either. I still have love for you too. I have learned a lot from you."

With that being said, Logan nodded slowly and began to leave. But before doing so, took James' hand in his and kissed it like he did the first time they ever met. "Bye Jamie."

As the door closed, James felt his heart being left on the mat. He believed infinity is more than a made up dream. The brunet knew now that even if you love someone eternally, you have to love yourself into infinity first.

So now, both James and Logan can and will infinity love themselves more and more.
