A/N:
Originally, my plan was to publish the next chapter during the summer. But to celebrate the surprising release of Kingdom Hearts Unchained Chi in the US, I got tempted to publish this. Again, here is an opening look at our Keybearers' latest adventure.

Talen Brightfire woke up in bed.
He blinked his weary eyes at the feel of the burning sun kissing his face through the top-to-bottom cylinder shaped window. He hated early morning sun on his face.
He turned to his side and pulled the covers over him, groaning. He wanted to sleep some more. At least five more minutes of snooze. Cuddled under the warmth of his heavy bed sheets and cover. It's been a while since he's been home. Since his last adventure. Since he was under the captivity of the Blackhearts—
…wait a minute.
Last time he checked, he was captured by the Blackheart Dominion. And they stole his Keyblade Magic!
And someone pulled him out of here!
He glanced at the heavy bed sheets and cover. NOW he was in this strange place.
He sat up straight and stared out the window. He wasn't home. He was still in the Realm of Light. In the place most familiar to all Keybearers in Kingdom Hearts III Online HD.
He was in Daybreak Town
"You're all right!" a tiny Moogle-like voice spooked him. He turned to see a Cat-like figure hovering before him, carrying a red colored purse with the Dream Eater symbol on it.
"You're a Chirithy!" Talen gasped, "But I thought you guys were instinct!" he looked around, "Where are we?"
The Chirithy chuckled, "You don't know where you are?"
"I…" he hesitated, "Of course I do. But—" he gazed over at the room he was in; frozen, mesmerized by its regal elegance.
It was well lit by the morning sun glistening through the marble floor and the wooden walls.
On the left side was a wall of books sheltered in three great pillars. On the right side was a sitting area of three blue chairs circling around a maple table on a red carpet. He could see a draped flag with a symbol resembling the heart symbol, but with wings and a crown. Similar to the one engraved on the Book of Prophecies.
He noticed the bed. The bed he was sleeping in. It was three times king-size bed layered with many quilts. Fit for an Emperor.
"Seriously, where the hell am I?" he said, "I mean I'm not complaining but, I could get used to this house." He turned to the Chirithy, "And you got a name?"
"Talen."
"Yeah that's me. But do you have a name?"
"Yes." The Chirithy said again, "Talen is my name."
"What?"
"I'm a fragment of your Keyblade Magic. The one the Blackhearts stole from you."
"Are you…" Talen couldn't find the words to explain the situation he was in now. First he thought he was dead. Then he thought he was kidnapped. And now he was in Daybreak Town, safe and unharmed. Except he had no powers anymore. "Am I dreaming? Was all of this a dream? What happened to me and everything?"
"Everything that has happened to you was no dream, Talen Brightfire." a voice spooked him again. He turned to the person who spoke. It was that guy again. The Keyblade Knight with the mask similar to Terra's.
"Who are you?" he asked.
"Ahh…" the man let out a chuckle, "for someone who urges others to memorize things, I can't believe I didn't think off removing my mask. That slipped my mind."
"Wait…what?"
The man removed the mask off his face. As soon as he did that, Talen's jaws dropped. He knew this man. He was a fan of this man.
The man ruffled his spiky red hair. His green eyes glittered with passion and excitement. Comparing him to the man who rescued him from the Blackhearts, seeing him was unexpected.
"Allow me to introduce myself. And this place." He said to Talen, "This is Daybreak Town. You've met your Chirithy, Talen, or rather Talen-2; and as for me. I am Lea." That's pronounced Lee. As in see. Hope you have it memorized… …"

Galaxy
WARNING! WARNING! FAILING ENGINE! ACTIVATING EMERGENCY LANDING!
Red flashes of light filled the inside of the rumbling Gummi Ship. Rocks and asteroids slammed on any sides they could find. Johnny Thunder was secured on his seat, tossed back and forth. Chaos of falling bricks and rumbles and the screaming of failing engine alarm blended with the screaming of his comrades.
Well, technically, Rian's comrades, not his own.
Rian was Thunder's clone. And so were everyone else on that ship: Sierra, Pierre, Taylor, Violet, Axel, Matt, Kami, Jean-Michel, Denzel and Trayne. All of them looked around, confused, frightened, sniffling tears…
"What's going on?" screamed Sierra. "Why are we under attack?"
"Better question: who is attacking us?" said Taylor.
Axel removed his seatbelt and stumbled to the cockpit where Chip, Dale, Donald, Goofy and Terra were.
"Guys, let me help!" Axel said.
"Go back to your seat Axel!" Donald quacked, "This isn't a game!"
"Damn right it isn't a game! But come on guys…!"
"LOOK OUT!" The chipmunks squealed.
Another explosion rocked the ship and everyone got tossed and turned again. Axel held on. Goofy let out his signature cry.
"We're gonna make a crash landing!" Terra warned.
Thunder gazed up to the side. He spotted a galaxy of starships coming after their Gummi ship. Each one of them were firing lasers and beams at them, slicing and hacking every side of the ship till the ship no longer felt new; it felt like a piece of junk. "They're ganging up on us!" he shouted.
"But WHO?" Sierra shouted again.
"WE ALL WANT TO KNOW THAT SAME ANSWER, SIERRA!" Matt shouted back.
"Then LET THEM TALK!" Sierra roared.
"ALL RIGHT FINE! Y'ALL WANT AN ANSWER?" screamed Thunder, "There it is! A spy broke into the Dominion stronghold and rescued your friend Talen, and now they assume we have him and they are out for blood!"
"WHAT?" the booming exclamation from everyone on the ship was so loud, another tremor from another gun blast wouldn't surpass that level of shock.
The ship entered an unknown atmosphere and a dizzy swirl of clouds and cold blew through, "HOLD ON!" Goofy cried out.
More screaming. The ship was heading toward oblivion. Toward a strange land. Everything turned white, and the light within the atmosphere and the combusting flames that engulfed the ship blinded everyone's sights. Thunder knew the ground was coming up fast. But landing was imminent. Chances of surviving the fall was slim… …

Jean-Michel Elincio was the first one to wake up from unconsciousness. He let out a huge groan and blinked his weary eyes opened. What happened? He thought, smacking his lips. He looked down his shirt to see… drool.
Ew… he was drooling all over his favorite suede jacket. He went for a handkerchief in his pocket, when he realized he was strapped in the Gummi ship chair, seatbelt and everything.
Oh yeah, they had a crash landing.
He looked around and saw his comrades (nah, his favorite fans), were unconscious. Something that smelled like burnt egg with diesel too close for his nose. He turned to one side and saw a steam shooting next to him. That was where the smell was coming from.
"Ugh…" he almost puked. He removed the seatbelt and stood up, pulled out his handkerchief to clean up his jacket and went over to Sierra.
"Hey," he shook her awake, "Sierra? Are you all right?"
Sierra groaned, fluttering her eyes open.
"Hey, say somethin' girl." he said.
She gazed over to him, "...is that you Silento?"
"Oh hell no girl! I'm no whip and nae-nae bitch." he turned to the unconscious group, "YO!" he shouted and everyone jumped up awake. "Wake up! Nap time's over."
"No, ma… five mo' minutes." Goofy groaned. Donald jumped to his feet and angrily approached Goofy. He tried to kick him, but Goofy unconsciously rolled over to another side, causing Donald to miss the kick and fall hard on his face. "Ow!" he quacked.
Violet groaned, "What... happened...?"
"What happened?" Matt brushed the dirt off his shirt, "Oh, I'll tell you what happened?" he turned his gaze from the group to Thunder, "Why don't we all ask Rian?"
Thunder looked around, noticing the stare he was getting from across the Gummi Ship. "Uhh, what?"
"We get attacked by a horde of spaceships, controlled by the Blackheart Dominion." Matt said, "And when we're about to die, you confessed."
Thunder frowned, "I didn't confess!"
"Then what did you say?" Matt asked.
"I simply said that we've-" Thunder trailed off. Jean-Michel could tell from the glazed look in his eyes that he was hiding something.
"Should I finish that sentence for you?" Matt turned back to the group, "He said that the Blackheart Dominion were after us. We've been searching for them for the past three months and all of the sudden they show up looking for Talen." He turned back to Thunder, "Assuming Talen is alive, someone must have rescued him. Someone that you secretly hired right?"
"All right look," Thunder said, "let's not get ahead of ourselves."
"Rian went rogue!" Sierra shouted, pointing a finger at him. Thunder shook his head in panic.
"No!" Taylor said, "Rian will never go rogue."
Axel turned to Taylor, "But he did."
"Yeah." Matt said, "He did." he stepped forward, "But only because it's not Rian. He wouldn't do that!"
Matt grabbed Thunder by the shirt and pinned him to his seat, "WHO ARE YOU AND WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR?" he shouted.
Jean-Michel rushed in and pulled Matt away as Thunder stared back, dangerously ready to take on him. Trayne jumped in to help.
"Okay, big guy!" JM said, "Let's break this up! Now!"
Violet, Taylor and Axel joined in and everyone started shouting at each other in protest.
"Whoa-whoa, guys! Everyone relax!" Trayne said, "Why don't we just chill and not get ourselves worked up in this, okay?"
Everyone calmed down.
"Now there is a perfectly good explanation as to why Rian would go rogue."
Thunder pulled away from Matt, "I didn't go rogue guys. Okay? Remember last week when we crossed the World that Never Was and I proposed that we go face the threat head-on?"
"Yes, but we advised against it." Denzel said.
"Would have been suicide." Taylor added.
"But now you're bringing Talen into this." Violet said, "Why? Is he alive?"
Thunder hesitated.
Terra came in to the ship.
"Dude, where have you been?" said Denzel, "Ship was about to be turned into a Game of Thrones battle here."
"You think you got problem?" Terra sighed, shaking his head, "The Gummi Ship is completely damaged. It's gonna take a long while to get it fixed."
"What?" Donald said, "For how long?" Goofy was blinking his eyes awake when he heard the latest.
"Three days." Terra replied, "IF we're lucky. But in this blazing cold? Chances of survival is slim."
"Gawrsh… then uhh," he hesitated, "what are we supposed to do in the meantime?"
"How about we start a fire?" Jean-Michel said, turning to Taylor and Matt, "You two. You got fire in you. Use it for something productive. Make us happy."
Taylor and Matt glared in disgust.
"Damn it people! I'm talking about warm and cozy happy here. Not the horny kind of happy!" He pulled out his phone and started playing with it, ignoring the glare he was probably getting right now.
"There is a town not far from the Gummi ship crash site." Terra turned to the Chipmunks who came in. "What's the name of that town again?"
"It's not a town, Terra. It's a kingdom." Chip corrected him.
"You've seen it before!" Dale said.
"I did?" Terra said, shaking his head, "Wish I could remember."
"It's the Kingdom of Arendelle!" Dale said, "It is right below the icy mountains. Cross it, then move past the forest and then over the plains and you'll be there in no time."
Sierra gasped, "Wait, Arendelle? Like… from the movie Frozen Arendelle?" she suddenly broke into a singing verse, "Let it gooooo! Let it-"
"NO!" everyone exclaimed. Sierra gasped, stunned by the rude insult. She crossed her arms and sulked.
"Some people had to come to the kingdom by boat," said Chip, "Lucky for us, since we crashed near the place, we don't have to."
"But we still need someone to protect us from the strong Ice climate in there." Terra said, "So Jean-Michel?"
Jean-Michel looked away from his distracting smartphone and turned to the group.
"We want you to help us out in this treacherous mission." Terra said.
"Wuh...? Who? Me?"
"HIM?" Everyone exclaimed.
Terra nodded.
"Hey I have Ice Powers too." Trayne said, "Can I join?"
JM scoffed, "So let me get this straight." He said, "You're saying I'M in charge of this mission?"
"Well, you're-"
"Wow!" Jean-Michel let out a bold proud laugh, then turned to his smartphone and raised it up, "Did you hear that my fans? I'm in charge!"
"Uhh, what are you doing?" Violet asked.
"Doing a vlog for my fans!" JM said proudly, "What else do you think I'm doing?" he gasped, "Hey, how about we remember this moment, huh? Group selfie! Come on! I'll post and tweet. #Frozen #ArendelleTrip #Elincio4KingdomHeartsLeader!"
"Guys," Terra began, "now is not the right—"
"Hey!" Sierra cut Terra off, "If you're doing a vlog, at least have a beautiful princess like me be in it!" she flashed a bright smile to the camera, "Everything is boring without a flavor splash of Sierra Mist!"
JM stared at Sierra making herself pretty in front of his smartphone. HIS smartphone. Not HERS. "Well come on. Join in." he said bleakly.
Soon, Axel, Thunder, Denzel, Trayne and Pierre joined in the selfie shot, happily relishing in the news of the Arendelle quest they will all take. Taylor and Matt reluctantly join in. Violet and Kami stayed behind with Terra, Donald and Goofy. Goofy stepped forward to join the selfie gang but Donald yanked him back.
