Words: 2 482

A/N: Started to incorporate more Harry Potter stuff here... Enjoy :)

The dark clouds grew bigger and bigger, rain falling without mercy on top of the city, scaring the hell out of its residents. How long had it been since they saw rain the last time? Months, years, ages… So long, so long… the little children stared at the natural phenomena as if it was something magical, something really unusual, asking their weeping parents and grandparents what was that. However, behind the huge city, someone was not as happy as they were to see the rain.

Staring at the sigh in front of him pissed, Crocodile resisted the urge to curse. Sure, water was kind of his weakness… It nullified his power, since the sad became heavy and thick. However, that didn´t mean a thing. If he had always relayed on his power, than he wouldn´t have survived to that day.

"You are just a kid." Crocodile stated, rushing forward with his hook ready to kill. The girl jumped back, a wave of water taking her place, drenching him even more. The man narrowed his eyes, blocking a blow that came from the left, before trying to hit the girl back.

However, she was already gone, and with surprise he realize she wasn´t as slow as he thought she was. Nevertheless, it didn´t mean a thing. She was just a girl, with no to almost no experience in real fighting. Waiting for her to come at him, they exchanged a few blows before Crocodile managed to hit her in the stomach, sending her fly in pain to the floor.

The dark haired girl who name he still didn´t know cursed in pain, her emerald eyes staring at him with hatred. "Time for a plan B…" she mumbled to his surprise, hitting the floor with a lot of strength. That confused him. Hitting in did nothing to aid her situation… before something flashed near her and she grinned.

Thunder struck the place she just hit, electrical waves traveling through the wet surface, which was the sand. No, it didn´t travel through the sand… a tick amount of water floated on top of it, connecting the place with Crocodiles feet. And before he had the chance to jump, or even run, the electricity hit him with its full force, paralyzing him for few moments.

"Who knew chemistry would come in handy some day?" Reina mumbled, lifting herself up. Even thou lightning hit him; it would not be enough to defeat him. "Think. Close combat not good enough, water control unsteady, use lightning again… don´t think will work twice…" As she searched her mind for an idea, the roasted Crocodile stool up, angrier than ever.

His eyes narrowed even more with a deadly intent, locking on the girl. "Now you´ve done it, girl." He stated, taking off his coat. "I would have killed you quickly, but you enraged me. Now, you will suffer a long and painful death."

Wet sand rose from the ground, surrounding the girl as Crocodile tried to approach her. It would seal her movements for a moment, allowing him to gain advantage. She controlled water and, apparently, lightning. However, she didn´t look experienced in their use, what gave him even more advantage.

The girl broke through his sand wall, but he was already expecting her. Trying to pierce her stomach with his hook, he just gazed her slightly, being sent away by a splash of water. Yes, she didn´t seem experienced in her powers use… "First, I will kill you and then I´ll end that kid's life. You should be happy, you´ll see him in hell."

Her eyes narrowed again in anger and he smirked. He didn´t like losing time, but he would make those two pay for annoying him. "You´ll never touch Luffy. Over my dead body." A fireball appeared out of nowhere, hitting the ground in front of Crocodile. He frowned, staring to get really confused, before he heard her mumble something.

"…arda." She said and the floor exploded again, sending him flying. "Bombarda, bombarda, bombarda, bombarda." With every word the ground exploded, sending sand fly everywhere. Her eyes were dark, strange, scary… And before Crocodile knew it, he was lying on the floor right in front of her, a pair of flying fire balls floating around her, as she stared at him with glowing green eyes and a creepy smile. "Bye, bye, Crocodile-san."

"Stop right there." A voice they both knew ringed on the open space, forcing them to look for the source. "If I was you, I wouldn´t touch Crocodile. Or else your adorable brother may die." Sun stood near Luffy´s unconscious body, a pair of arms with no body holding a knife near his throat.

Narrowing her eyes, Reina sent Crocodile one last glance, before walking away towards Luffy. "Wasn't expecting to see you so soon here." The green eyes girl stated, the fireballs disappearing into nothing. "I won´t touch him, but you two better disappear from my sight before I lose it."

Sun grinned, the arms she created disappearing too. "Yes, yes. You know, I took about fifteen minutes reaching this place. You two took you sweet time here I see." Staring at the craters all around the ground, and the half-destroyed wall, she smirked. "I believe your friends are coming here. Well then, I´ll guess it´s better for us to leave."

All that time Crocodile had said nothing, his mind trying to understand how a single person managed to control water, lightning and, apparently, fire. It didn´t make sense. No devil fruit had that power. Standing up, he slowly made his way to the girl, trying to stab her from behind.

However, in place of her body, only tick air reminded, and she disappeared into the clouds as if she never existed. "What the…?" He mumbled, only to find her standing near her brother. "Who are you?" She was no normal human. No, she wasn´t human. Not even a devil fruit user… she was a real demon.

"Me?" The girl asked with a smile, trying to lift the heavy teen. "I´m just a teen who really, but really loves her brother. Now, disappear before I change my mind and fry you both."

Flinching, not liking the way she talked to him, Crocodile glared at Miss Sunday. Later he would have a long talk with her… "Next time we meet, girl, I won´t let you live." With those words, he disappeared into the huge mansion right next to them, being followed by a smiley woman. Yes, next time he met that demon, he would destroy her… before she destroyed them.

Five minutes later, Reina was still sitting at the same place, with Luffy right next to her, looking at the black clouds. She lost it again… Reina wasn´t mean nor violent by nature. She never did anything to her cousin Dudley when he laughed at her or even hit her. She usually just ran away, or found a way to trick him and then run away. Even at school, when things went wrong, she just kept quiet. Not because she was a weakling, but because she knew that violence solved nothing.

It had been long ago the first time she decided to fight back. Still when she was at Hogwarts. Draco, a stupid Slytherin who apparently had hated her to death for some unknown reason, had called her to a duel… which she had accepted. In the end nether of them won, since that bastard had been playing around, hopping she would be caught and punished… Even so, it had been her first act of self-defense.

Thinking about it now made her laugh slightly. Neville, a boy from her class and from Gryffindor, had been forced to go with her and Ron because he forgot the password… Even now, those memories made her laugh. "We were so stupid back then…"Because of that they found Fluffy, Hagrid´s giant dog with three heads… "Oh and Hermione hated us so much then…"

"Damn it, stop remembering." The cold rain washed away any trace of tears, which ran down her cheeks without even stopping. Memories… why were they always so cruel, so saddening. Even thou she remembered every moment of it, it only brought her pain. "Oh… but it´s raining…" Ring would wash away all sadness… so maybe remembering for a moment wasn´t that bad.

Yes, Hermione hated them so much. That day, the long haired girl had tried to stop them, warning them it was stupid and irresponsible. However, they had ignored her and did what they thought was the best. Which ended in a meeting with Fluffy… "Next time I better obey her."

Laughing, Reina sighed and stood up. No, getting lost in memories was not a good think. Especially not if you had a fainted teen near you and a person who promised to kill you somewhere near. "Hermione would know what to do… Wait, what was that spell we were taught? Hm… Wingardium leviosa."

Luffy´s body rose slowly before her eyes, and Reina smirked. The last time lifting a single feather had been so hard… and now she could easily make Luffy fly. "Well then, let´s find the others, right, Luffy?" Hm… she needed to make more books appear.

Actually, she had been caught by surprise a few days after she had boarded Luffy´s boat. As she sat in her room thinking about magic and how she needed to learn more about it, books started to appear out of nowhere, containing a lot of things about magic. She just wished for them… and they appeared just like that, without any warning. In them, she learned some spells like Bombarda. Now she just needed more books… and to train the spells she learned.

Furthermore, it had caught her by surprise the fact she could use them without a wand. She thought it was impossible, and yet there she saw, using them just like that… Sighing, Reina wanted to sleep. The day had been tiresome, and it only started.

When she opened her eyes again, she found herself staring at a rather funny picture. In front of her stood Ace, carrying an unconscious Usopp and Nami at his back, blushing madly at something an smiley Vivi said, while Chopper and Sanji freaked out over something, and Zoro slept while standing. "Don´t be so shy, I understand EVERYTHING!" Vivi stated, smiling even more as Ace´s face grew redder. She sure was enjoying herself.

"Hi there." Reina said, watching amazed as Ace jumped in surprise. "Did you guys miss us?" The group surrounded her and the still floating Luffy quickly, bombarding her with questions. Most of them wanted to know what was wrong with Luffy… not that she could blame them. "We met Crocodile, Luffy tried to fight, lost and then we… run."

Smiling, Reina wondered if telling them the truths would give her… forget it. Telling the truth was too much of a pain. And then the endless questions and all that… "Crocodile is in this house. He was the one who ordered people to catch us. So we better move before he catches us again." The probability of it happening was faint, considering he just lost to a girl, but it still could happen.

Everyone nodded, and all Reina had to do was follow them silently, allowing them to dictate the route. The rain still fell slowly, in less quantity than before, but still was there. "What really happened Reina?" Ace asked all of sudden, surprising the poor teen who jumped up from the scare. He appeared behind her just like a ghost!

"Nothing happened." She lied, smiling. "Well… my powers went out of control, the reason for the rain, but aside from that nothing happened." His eyes narrowed dangerously, and she knew it would be hard to convince him. "Ace, I am fine. Nothing happened."

"Don´t lie to me." The dark haired man interrupted her, sighing annoyed. "You may lie well, but I have known you for too long not to realize when you are hiding something." Rolling her eyes, Reina faced forward, considering her options. Tell him the truth and be yelled at, or not tell him the truth and get yelled at anyway. "Reina, I am waiting."

"And I am telling you, there is nothing to tell!" Frustrated, Reina faced the dark clouds. "What happened happened. No use to think about it, or to ask me about it. Nothing won´t change it, and the fact Cro-chan wants to kill me also won´t… Ups."

As her green eyes turned his way, with her realizing she said something she shouldn´t have, Reina started to walk faster. Ace´s face grew darker all of sudden, promising pain to whoever gets in his way. And she honestly didn´t want it to be her, aware she was in already too much trouble to add an angry Ace.

However, before she had the chance to run away to a safe distance, hot hands grabbed her ice cold one´s, Ace slowing her down. "You better start talking now Reina, or else we´ll pay Cro-chan a visit." Reina shivered, not used to him being angry with her… and before she knew it, her mouth started talking by itself.

"Crocodile tried to kill Luffy and I kind of… snapped." She admitted, not looking his way. "I may have exaggerated a little bit, destroyed his pride and promised to kill him if he ever tired that again… But it was all his fault! He would have killed Luffy!"

Ace said nothing for a moment, but she could feel his burning stare on her. Could he stop looking? If he kept staring like that, she would blur out other secrets… "Reina… why didn´t you call me?" He mumbled, hugging her all of sudden. "If you called, I would have come to your rescue… what if something happens to you?"

"There was no time…" Staring at his necklace, Reina pouted. "I knew you would get angry… so I didn´t want to tell you. But there really was no other way, Ace! Even if I called, you would not arrive in time. I can heal small wounds with magic, but I cannot revive the dead. If Luffy died… he would be dead forever!"

Ace hit her head slightly, sighing. "I am not mad at you Reina." He stated to her surprise, pulling her closer. "I am mad at that idiot who dared to threaten you. When I see him, I will make sure to pay the favor back. It´s just that you always do things on your own. Relay on us a little bit. Neither one of us would forgive ourselves if something happened to you."

Smiling slightly, as well as blushing, Reina nodded. "I´ll be more careful next time. I promise." Ace smiled back and ruffled her hair, before running forward after the group which started to disappear in the city. "I won´t die that easily, ba-ka."
