Declaimer: I don´t own Harry Potter nor One Peace! If I did, Ace would be alive and kicking ass.

A/N: Took some time... sorry. I was having second thoughts about it, but here it does! Hope you like it. Remember, hugeeeee time skip! To the Archipelago.

The sea has been rather reckless lately, a person though as he looked from the ship, staring at the ever changing water. Just a few hours ago, a thunderstorm had hit them. Luckily, nothing major happened, but it didn´t stop him from worrying slightly. As his eyes searched the sea, something caught his attention. A hand… a human hand.

"Person in water! Person in…" The man yelled as he watched a limp body float on top of the ever-changing sea, before a wave came and pulled the body under water. "Hurry up!" He screamed again, another man jumping out, a rope around his waist. The waters were tricky; no one knew what could happen. The one who jumped out swam with all his might, catching an ivory hand. It was cold, colder than ice, and he feared the stranger was already dead.

"Pull me!" He ordered, kneed on giving the stranger at least a funeral on ground. In few days, they would arrive to a small island, burying the stranger there. "Hurry." He added as he noticed a huge wave coming his way, pulling the body towards him. To his surprise, a black haired girl emerged from the waters, her long hair gently floating on top of water. Locking his hands around her waist, he gave another order and in minutes, they were at the ship, having escaped the wave just by seconds.

The crew of the ship joined the soaking man, staring at the stranger whom didn´t even move, the face of a lovely girl covered in drops of salty water. "Oh god, it´s only a child." Someone said, giving the man a glace. He sighed, remembering the coldness of her skin. Poor girl, to die at such age. "Go call Capitan!" It was such a shame… the girl was rather pretty too.

"Shut up, I´m right here." A lean, muscular blonde haired man stated as he kneeled near the girl, reaching to cheek her pulse. She was pretty, with long black hair and fair skin, a strange scar on her forehead… didn´t Ace say his sister had a lightning scar? Frowning, he tried to lift her hand, but as soon as he touched her, the hand started to melt.

"The hell…?" Jumping back surprise, and slightly scared, though he would never admit it, he just stared as her skin reappeared again. For a faint moment, she became water… but that was only a mirage, right? They never heard of a person melting…

"Could she be a devil fruit user?" Someone mumbled, and the blonde haired man frowned even more. He had never heard of a devil fruit that allowed someone to become water. Not that anyone knew exactly what types existed… "But she wouldn´t have survived in the water… That girl must be dead."

Some started to fight; betting whenever the girl was dead or not, but the captain just ignored them. If it was a devil fruit, then the girl wasn´t dead. "Bring some covers. We need to warm her up." His hand reached for hers once again, and this time, he finally managed to hold it, feeling the week pulse. "She is alive, but weak. Bring also a doctor!"

"Yes sir." The deck of the ship quickly filled with people whom tried to help the unconscious girl. The majority was there only to take a look of the stranger, while wondering how exactly she arrived there. They were three days away from an island, and on their way there, they hadn't encountered any other ships. In addition, no one would travel in those waters by themselves, unless they had a death wish.

"What is going on, Marco?" An abnormally large human said, watching the blonde-haired person named Marco attentively from his spot. Yellow eyes locked on the commotion behind him, saying nothing, waiting for an answer.

Looking up, Marco shifted slightly uncomfortable. Even with his many years at sea, the current situation was new to him. "We found a person in the sea. Hey, Oyaji, do you remember what Ace said about his sister? How she looked?"

"Hmmm…" Looking up, the large man with a white mustache tried to recall it. "I believe he said she had black hair, green eyes, pale skin… thin. He often said she needed to eat more. Oh, and that she had a scar of her forehead. A strange one, lightning shaped. But why are you asking?"

Giving him one last look, Marco stepped aside, allowing the large man to see the little black haired teen. "I believe we found her."

Darkness had always scared Reina, even when she refused to admit it. Lately, however, her fears seemed to have disappeared. Or so she had thought they did, that day deciding to prove her wrong.

The wizard was swimming in darkness. She could hear, see and feel nothing, lying somewhere in between black. For a faint moment, she didn´t care, that darkness was welcoming. But then something switched, something changed, and she wished she could opened her eyes.

"Luffy!" Some screamed, and she tried to look around, only to realize there was nothing there. Luffy´s voice screamed, maybe from fear, maybe from pain, but she wasn´t sure. Moreover, it made her nervous, ruthless. She wanted to end the darkness, but her consciousness reached for it. Something bad must have happened, otherwise the darkness wouldn´t be there.

Just like all those time Dursley beat her, made fun of her or locked her somewhere refusing to give her food; what had saved her was the unconsciousness. And every time something bad happened, it came for her, as if to warn her something bad was waiting for her. Another beating, another yelling… This time, however, she wasn´t sure what was waiting for her.

"Run!" Luffy yelled, and she tried to reach him. She could help, somehow. Her powers had grown stronger the past months; she would be able to help them. Screw her promise with Gramps; Straw Hats safety was more important. "Run!"

"Luffy!" She tried to call, reach for him, but it was in vain. In a second she realized she had no idea where she was, nor why she was unconscious, starting to rack her brain for answer. The last think she remembered was… arriving at the Sabaody Archipelago! There had been so many islands and she had met someone…

A mermaid. Her mind supplied and she nodded. Yes, she had met a mermaid named Keimi, Sanji had given someone a face surgery, with his feet; and then… Keimi was kidnaped.

Images started to flown in her mind, making her face twist in pain and helplessness. They managed to help Keimi, but the marine had time to arrive. There had been so many of them… Straw Hats were of no match, in neither strength nor number. One by one there were caught.

"Luffy…" She called again, heart tightening with sorrow. She hadn´t had time to help, to grab their hands and take them away… She had watched them disappeared, one by one, helpless. It had been the worst feeling she had felt until then, and tears threatened to fall down. They are alright. He saved them.

Kuma. Kuma saved them. Now she remembered…

She had been the only one left, but only because no one paid her attention. She had never helped the Straw Hats on the front lines, reminding in the shadows. Therefore, her presence there was called a coincidence and forgotten. Or so it would be, if she hadn´t approached Kuma. She knew Luffy was well, she could feel it, but she still couldn´t help but worry.

"What did you do?" She had asked the huge man whom looked down on her. Not a single emotion was shown on his face, but it was easy to tell he was confused. "Where did you sent them?" Reina had been told rumors about his Devil Fruit, and it they were true, one of his powers allowed him to send someone flying to a destination of his choice.

He had kept looking at her, not moving, the noise of the marines long forgotten. Reina was nothing to them, just another victim, no one to be wary off. The huge Shichibukai, however, seemed to have realized it was untrue. "Somewhere." He said slowly. "If you were to go on a trip… where would you like to go?"

Startled, Reina had started at him for a moment, before smiling. "I don´t know. You chose." He had saved them. If the marine had caught the Straw Hats, everything would be over. They had been in no shape to fight at that moment. Looking as his big paw approached her, she had said. "Thank you", before losing her consciousness.

So that´s what had happened. Her heart relaxed, and she started to feel the darkness disappear. After flying whom knows how long, she had fallen into the sea. Instead of fighting against it, she allowed it to take control, slipping into blissful sleep…

However, something caught her attention. If she had fallen into the sea, why wasn´t everything around her moving. The place where she slept was… too comfortable. Like she was sleeping in a bed, covered by blankets…

In a second, her mind woke up, startled by this realization. She didn´t open her eyes, listening carefully trying to understand whom helped her. And soon enough she heard some voices, male apparently, whispering between themselves.

"How long will she keep sleeping?" One of the asked, his voice apparently worried. "She has been out for a while now. Is there something wrong with her heath? She didn´t look that well when…" His voice faded and Reina fought against the desire to frown, wondering exactly how she looked when they helped her.

"The poor girl needs to rest." This voice was deeper, and calmer. "She had been through a lot. Though there are no external wounds, her body was rather weak. And I don´t blame it. From the looks of it, she had been in the sea for a while. I don´t know how she managed to survive, but she sure is lucky. Give her time."

The room fell silent again, just people breathing, until some came and called the other two for dinner. For a moment, she asked herself if it was all right to leave her by herself. After all, she could be an enemy. No one else, however, seemed to share her worries, as they left her alone. Well, it was better for her that way.

As soon as the door closed, the green eyes girl woke up, glancing around the room carefully. It appeared to be a hospital room, with medicine all over the shelves, white bandages completing the look. Hm… so not only they helped her, they also took her to a doctor… Such nice people. That, however, wasn´t enough for her to trust them.

Carefully stepping out the bed, she stood still for a moment, trying to equilibrate herself, noticing for the first time she was feeling weak. How many day had she spent in the sea? A question to be answered later. Taking a brave step forward, she wobbled for a moment, before regaining her composure and walking manners. Damn, she had spent some time in the waters…

As she approached the door, looking around for people, she realized it was empty. Like, completely and totally empty. "What?" Did they really think she was no threat? To such extent as to leave her completely unguarded, allowed her to rum rough their ship without even worrying? Now she was completely shocked.

"They must be strong." That or stupid. At that point she still wasn´t sure, but maybe it would be better if she didn´t find out. Either way she needed to make her way back to the Archipelago, and while she knew a perfect way, it was a method highly unstable. Only to be used in emergencies. Whom knew where she could end up…

As she paced through the ship, noticing another medical room, this one filled with machinery she hadn´t seen before in that world, as well as the enormity of the bed; her thoughts couldn´t help but wander to Luffy. Was she all right? Was he hurt? Was he eating well?

Unconsciously, her right hand moved to the necklace, the cold ice stones reassuring her even for an instant. What could she say, she just couldn´t help but wonder. And soon, her thoughts moved to Sabo, the only brother she still hadn´t seen; and to Ace. Ace…

Ace was an idiot. That´s exactly what she had concluded after finding out he had left them, and her thoughts still hadn't changed. He could have said a proper goodbye, but he decided to leave with a letter. Not even the fact they had exchanged letters at least two times after it managed to lift her mood, mostly because she felt like he was keeping something from her. Call it woman intuition, but she could feel it, and it scared her. After all, not everyone would be happy if they sensed a dark cloud following them, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike…

"Oh, stop it." Reina scolded herself, displeased with her own actions. She had no idea where she was, and instead of worrying about herself, she was worrying about her brothers. Nice. Exactly what she needed. "This is stupid." Sighing, the green eyes looked around as she asked herself if she was lost, when voiced caught her attention.

On reflex, she hid in the darkest corner, noticing two people walk by towards the corridor she came from. Not good news. There was nothing about the pair that caught her attention, and as she heard their voice disappear and the silence come back, Reina started walking quicker. Those two weren´t the same whom she had heard before, but she doubted they had kept her appearance a secret. Maybe they finally realized the danger of leaving an unknown person alone… but she didn´t want to stick around to confirm it.

The perfume of the salt sea rushed her forward, as Reina felt her heart quicken a bit. She could hear the voices again, this time louder and panicked, what meant they had found out she was gone. Luckily for her, she was already at the exit, the sea just meters away.

First, Raina would jump in the water. Conscious, she could easily reach the nearest coast. The sea would tell her everything, and once located the target, she would allow her body to merge with water, reaching that place sooner than a ship. Hey, everyone had their own method of transportation.

With that in mind, the emerald eyes girl opened the door, taking a deep breathe of salty aroma. She loved so much that aroma… in her opinion, she had been born in the wrong race. She should be a mermaid. What else could explain her sudden and unexplainable love for water? However, as soon as her eyes fixated on what was in front of her, she froze. That wasn´t water.

Indeed, indeed. Unexpectedly, what first caught her eyes wasn´t the water, as she had hopped, but at least a few dozen of people, whom by the looks weren´t marines. Exactly as she stared at them confused and surprised, the men themselves were unable of moving, eyes on her slender figure, on her strange emerald eyes... Right… what was happening again?

Blink. Blink.

"Catch her!" A single order unfroze everyone, as if magically, as people leaped forward trying to catch her, while the girl herself jumped up, eyes widening more and more. Why pirates? Why couldn´t it be a… a… a commercial ship? "Don´t let her reach pops!"

A hand caught her feet, as she was hanging from a rope she somehow managed to grab, and she shrieked accidentally. "Let me go!" Hitting the man whom was climbing up her feet with the free one, she felt like cursing. Lifting herself up, she noticed others were climbing up the rope too, panic starting to jump in her train of thoughts. As if she needed it.

"Calm down." A deep voice called everyone´s attention, and Reina found herself staring at an old man. An extremely tall old man. "Don´t be rude to a guest. Marco, why don´t you invite our guest to dinner?" Wow, that man sure was tall… Three men couldn´t reach his height even if theirs was added all together. Wait, guest?

"As you wish." A bird flew to her side suddenly, a big blue beautiful… when it suddenly turned into a human, a well build one with a blonde hair and… As her heart stopped for a moment, Reina moved away from him instantly, not even remembering she was a few meters in the air. "Be careful, ojou-san." The man caught her, holding her like a princess.

Blushing, and somehow wishing she had fallen down, she just glared at him, angry. She was mostly angry at herself though, not believing she had reacted that way after seeing everything she had seen until then. Ghosts for example… maybe it was because she was panicking, or his sudden appearance, but it had been a stupid reaction.

The man said nothing, jumping down and allowing her to stand up, right in front of the large man. The others said nothing and so she did, still waiting for her heart to stop rushing, though Raina couldn´t help herself but look up at the man. Something in him forced others to respect him, and fear, if this feeling in her heart was any clue. However, she refused to show it, facing him with her head up high.

The man suddenly slimed, his eyes glinting slightly. "Welcome to my ship, little girl." Twitching at the little girl part, she said nothing, waiting for him to finish. "Apparently you were found in the sea. I must admit I am amazed you managed to survive."

Her eyes caught the pirates' flag, and just a little realization filled her. You had to be complete idiot, or Luffy, not to recognize it. The Whitebeard pirates were well known. So that man had to be Whitebeard himself… didn´t Ace say something about belonging with them now? That idiot never went into details, and now she was struggling with this. "Thank you." She finally said, cursing her luck. "You can say I have a connection with the sea."

"Is that so?" Laughing, his eyes never left hers. "I think you already know whom I am, but no one knows who you are, little girl."

Nodding, Reina glanced around, hoping to find Ace. The wish was fruitless however, since he was currently traveling all around the world. "Indeed I know whom you are. My name is Reina. I am traveling around the world looking for something interesting to do."

As if possible, the man laughed even more, this time joined by other people. And one by one, they relaxed, going back to eating and drinking. "Once again welcome to my ship, Reina. Hope your stay here will be pleasant." Blinking, she wondered what was going on. Just by hearing her name, everyone´s mood changed…

"So you are Reina." Someone said, and as she looked back, she found herself staring at the same man whom had scared her earlier. "We heard a lot about you. Nice to finally meet you." Heard? From who…? An image of Ace flashed in her mind and she forced herself to calm down, feeling the anger growing.

"I am. I guess Ace told you about me." The man, Marco if she remembered well, nodded, inviting her to sit with him. Seeing no other option, her curiosity regarding Ace´s life in Whitebeards crew taking the best of her, she joined him. "I´m guessing you are Marco. Ace doesn´t talk much about himself."

"Hahaha. I remember stealing some of his letters. I guess he doesn´t, does he? You are always worrying." Rolling her eyes, Reina took a piece of meat, to hungry to think twice. She had been in the sea for two days, now that she remembered, and her body needed food. "Oh, I was about to forget. You are a devil fruit user, aren´t you?"

Looking up surprised, she contemplated the possibility to lie, but it was too late. In addition, she was tired of lying. Next time she met her brothers, she would tell them the truth. In this world where magic was persecuted, she needed to have some upper hand. "Yes, I am."

"How did you managed to survive in the water then?" A person joined, looking at her excited. "I´m Rakuyo by the way. I helped you out when you were in the water. What brings us back to the same question."

"Thank you very much." The man smiled a little bit, urging her to continue. "Regarding that, it seems I have hit the jack pot. My devil fruit allows me to control water, and for some reason, sea water doesn´t affect me." Reina noticed few people stopped eating, staring at her with her mouth opened. "I was surprised too. I guess the fruit was different for some reason. The stones still affect me, but not as much as they do to others. I can still use my devil fruit and move."

"Are you for real?" A random person asked his eyes wide as a tennis ball. No, everyone´s eyes were like that, not including Whitebeard, whom was just grinning. "That´s like… wow… it doesn´t? Then you can swim and all that?"

Nodding, Reina smiled back. "I had never seen a devil fruit before, so I only realized what it was after I ate it." She explained. "To check if it was true, I had gone to the sea and swam a little. Since nothing had happened, I had assumed it was just some strange fruit… The next day when I had woken up, I understood it was for real."

One by one people started throwing questions at her, wanting to know this and that, and her bust size, perverts; but she was quickly saved by Marco. "You sure are interesting." The blonde man said, drinking what Reina suspected to be sake. "Oh well, I guess it explains it. Now, moving on, what to hear stories about Ace?"

With huge shinny eyes, Reina couldn´t find a reason not to.

A/N: Surprise? No? Who cares? XD I! I care... Moving on, now that the beginning is set, I believe I´ll be able to post sooner. I have been having some author block lately, but I believe it´s all better now. I was having a problem regarding whom should find her: Whitebeard or Sabo... and as you can see, I decided. :)

Wicken25: The idea is interesting, but we cannot forget Ace is, at the moment, either in the prison or going there... but I´ll use it later. Promise!

silverray989: I won´t go much into that, since it would make this even longer... and we are almost at the middle... yet. But I´ll try to make it up for you later, with fun Hogwarts pirate interaction!

ultima-owner: Yes it is.

Thank you for reading, reviewing, favoring, following! I feel bad for making you wait so long... but it´ll change, at least for this month. Then I start Uni and I need to find a job... Oh, just kill me.
