"You want me to what?" Hinata looked like he'd handed her a cockroach.
"Just a quick look at her stomach with your byakugan. Ruka won't ever even know," replied Shikamaru.
"Umm, that would be a major violation of her privacy."
"Keiko thinks she might be pregnant and if so it would be a good idea for her to stop practicing taijutsu." She seemed intrigued but not totally on board. It turned out Hinata had a backbone after all and she was determined to use it against him. His trump card was to just tell her it was Naruto in disguise but he wanted to avoid anyone knowing that if at all possible. In a few months when people had forgotten yesterday's events it would be different but right now it would be a disaster. The last thing he needed was for everyone to find out he'd been flirting with Naruto, henged or not. It was possible that her byakugan would reveal that Ruka was Naruto regardless but that was a risk he had to take. The mystery that was Naruto was eating at his brain.
Shikamaru looked deep into Hinata's lavender-tinged white eyes and said, "I'll help you get a date with Naruto."
The veins around her eyes bulged as she activated her kekkei genkai faster than he'd ever seen her do before. Her attention focused on Ruka who was on her way to grab ice cream with my sister (why he felt he had to be female for that activity Shika wasn't entirely sure). Then her jaw dropped. "She's so shiny… Like Naruto but even brighter."
"Okay," said Shika. "Now tell me if you see anything in her womb." Assuming she even had a womb.
Hinata's only response was to start drooling.
"Hinata-san?" He waved his hand in front of her face but she was miles away. It seemed that the only thing he'd learned from this venture was that she had a fetish for large concentrations of chakra. Her infatuation with Naruto was now far less inexplicable.
Days later Shikamaru noticed that the duo of his sister and Ruka had become a trio. Hinata was too shy to even speak properly in the presence of Naruto, she'd even fainted a few times, but apparently she was more forward with girls. It was strange that she was so enchanted with him in both his forms (though she had no idea it was him). After all, Sasuke Uchiha had a great deal of chakra for his age but unlike most girls in the academy she had no interest in him whatsoever. Just how much chakra did Naruto have? Regardless, he hoped that Naruto wasn't letting the attention go to his head. Naruto was the last man to deserve a harem and Shika would make sure he never got one, especially one that included his sister.
