ADDED SCENE

*Snow just wouldn't leave me alone today, she needed to let people know she wasn't the worst mother on the planet and that she did actually tell David about his Dads. Of course this made me think of pictures and things she would have taken from the bunker when she left. Please indulge me for a minute and review if you wish :)

Snow sat in her bedroom looking through the photos of Dean,Sam and Castiel that Gabriel had retrieved from the bunker for her. Tears were flowing freely down her cheeks as she looked at the three men she loved for the first time in almost a decade. Here and there was a snuck picture of Castiel that she knew Dean had taken when the angel was preoccupied and she smiled at the memories these pictures elicited from her mind. She especially loved the pictures of Sam and Dean when they were younger, both smiling and having no idea of the hell they were yet to encounter.

"Mom?" Snow heard the deep voice of her son. She looked up quickly to see David watching her with concern from her doorway.

"Come in baby." she motioned him to the bed. David was a very quiet boy, not asking a million questions like other children she knew, but he had Castiel's natural curiosity. So she watched him walk into the room and sit on her bed with his head tilted just like his angelic father.

"Who are they?" David asked pointing to the picture in his mother's hand.

"Why haven't you ever asked about your father David?" Snow asked the not yet ten year old.

"Uncle Gabe always told me I have more then other kids and that one was an angel. It just didn't seem important." David shrugged.

"Its time you learned David." she said. She moved over on the bed so that she was shoulder to shoulder with the boy and picked up one picture that was obviously taken when the Winchesters were still in high school. They were smiling but not looking at the camera.

"This is Dean and Sam Winchester, two of your fathers. Sam is the taller one but Dean was the oldest." she said and went on to tell him all about how the brothers had lost their mother when they were young to a demon. Snow had been very adamant that David know all about Heaven and Hell and the monsters that came from both. Even Purgatory was a common topic of discussion in their house hold. Of course having an archangel to raise her son helped to clarify and ease his fear when it came to things that hunted people.

She flipped through pictures of the brothers and told him stories of his grandfather, John, who even though he was the world's worst father he was also one of the greatest hunters to ever live. She explained their role in the averted apocalypse, how the angel Castiel had rescued Dean from hell which started a whole other mess, and when she came across a picture of Cas he instantly brightened.

"That's my Dad." he said pointing to the picture of Cas who was looking at a cat with a serious expression on his face. Snow remembered how he had decided to keep the stray tabby despite Dean's loud and colourful argument. Unfortunately Cat didn't want to be kept for more then a few days and ran off as soon as he was able to escape the bunker. Poor Cas had been distraught for days.

"How do you know that David?" she asked surprised and looking at the boy.

"I can see his wings." David smiled as he ran his fingers over the photo.

"You what?" she asked.

"Can't you see them Mom? Right there, but they're different then Uncle Gabe's." he explained.

"You can see Gabriel's wings?" Snow asked surprised.

"Yes." he nodded his head. "They're beautiful Mom, like gold."

"Did you tell Uncle Gabe about this?" she asked and he shook his head.

"Did I do something wrong Mom?" he asked a little afraid.

"No baby, nothing wrong. I'm just surprised that's all." she said putting his arm around his shoulder and kissing his hair. Gabriel strolled past the doorway but stopped when he saw how red Snow's eyes were.

"Everything ok?" he asked crossing his arms and legs and leaning against the door frame.

"I'm just telling David about his fathers." Snow said smiling gently at the archangel.

"Your Dads were the very best this world had to offer David, some of the strongest, smartest and selfless people I've ever known. And I've known lots of people." he smiled at the kid.

"They were brave?" David asked in that little kid voice that he still some times had. At this point in his life David was very concerned with being brave.

"They were the bravest. They faced Lucifer and didn't even blink." Snow told him.

"They were stupid too but that's why we loved them." Gabe chuckled.

"Never ever be ashamed of who you are David, you come from the very best." Snow said looking at a picture of the three men she loved. She remembered taking this picture. It was shortly after Dean had admitted that he loved Cas and to celebrate Snow had gotten them all to go on a picnic at a nearby park. Dean and Cas sat close to each other, Castiel resting his cheek on Dean's shoulder as Dean held his hand and smiled in that love sick way some people had. Sam was looking at her as she snuck the picture and he wore a small smile on his face that she remembered so fondly, his hair down to his shoulders and in need of a trim.

"Do you miss them Mama?" David asked his mother as she stared at the picture.

"Every day David, every day."
