Aichi x Misaki FanFiction
Chapter 4
Misaki was slowly leaning into Aichi as if to whisper something, she leant in close enough so that no one else would be able to hear her but still loud enough for Aichi to understand. Aichi who was oblivious to this was staring away at the sky, pondering on how to start the conversation. Aichi then went to turn and say something to Misaki as he noticed her leaning in towards him. Aichi allowed Misaki to proceed closer to him and as Misaki got close enough for Aichi to fell the warmth of her breath on his cheek.
"I used to love coming here when I was younger" slowly said Misaki, with a hint of sadness in her face. This took Aichi by surprise and he was unable to reply as he noticed how sad Misaki truly looked. Misaki once again started to speak and said to Aichi:
"This is the place I used to go with my parents, before they passed away" This was the last thing that Misaki said and now Aichi truly did not know how to respond. By this point Misaki had started to lean into Aichi's shoulder as they sat on a bench in the far corner of the park. Aichi took a glance down at Misaki and noticed a tear rolling down her cheek. After seeing this Aichi felt like the best thing to was to put his arm around Misaki's shoulder and he was gladly met by Misaki completely resting her head on his shoulder and holding Aichi's hand that was wrapped around her. Misaki was slowly starting to feel more comfortable and she started to curl up to Aichi. This embrace between Aichi and Misaki lasted for about another half an hour until they were interrupted by some familiar faces, Kamui, Morikawa and Miwa along with Eiji and Reiji came round the corner of the park and spotted both Misaki and Aichi on the park bench.
When both Misaki and Aichi had noticed them turning towards them they both straightened up on the bench and disengaged their hands. Misaki was the first to speak as they came over to them;
"What are you doing back already? I thought you was going to see ultra rare play at the stadium?" Asked Misaki, her voice slightly fierce.
"Well we only got to hear a couple of songs before this idiot got too excited and tried to run on stage, the security came over and threw out not just Morikawa but the rest of us as well" Angrily said Kamui.
"All I wanted to do was to see my Kouriiiinn!" shouted Morikawa, turning his body away from Kamui.
"Weelll we just wanted to see if we could have the keys to the shop so we could go hang out there unless you want to come back with us now?" asked Miwa.
Misaki quickly responded with; "No, no it's ok, here take the keys" Misaki quickly grabbed the keys out of her bag and threw them to Miwa.
"Cheers!" shouted Miwa all of them except Aichi and Misaki left the park, Miwa quickly turning around and winking at Aichi, making him turn bright red for what felt like the fortieth time to Aichi today. After they had left it was surprisingly Aichi who spoke first and he proceeded to talk to Misaki.
"Do you want go get something to eat now? I'm starting to get a little hungry" spoke Aichi. Misaki who was a little taken back by Aichi's sudden gain of confidence excitedly replied : "Yes I'd love to Aichi!" happy that Aichi had made the first move after their encounter with the gang. They both stood up from the bench and started to make their way out of the park.
Aichi had once again started to notice Misaki walk closer to him, sometimes brushing her hand against his side or hand. Aichi decided to seize this opportunity and after a few more steps when Misaki went to brush her hand against his he slowly extended his hand into his and slowly embraced her warm hand. He could tell Misaki was happy with the fact that he had held her hand because she had returned the "squeeze" after he had first grabbed her hand and was then firmly, but still gently holding his hand.
Aichi then plucked up the courage to take a glance at Misaki as they were walking towards the centre of the town and admired how beautiful she actually was, her perfect white hair blowing in the wind. Holding Misaki's hand was as far as Aichi felt he was comfortable to go, Misaki wasn't too sure whether Aichi was just holding her hand out of friendship or as a sign of affection but either way she was enjoying both the closeness and attention from Aichi.
They both came to a standstill when they reached the first restaurant in the town which was a Pizza place.
"Shall we go in here Aichi?" Asked Misaki, content on whatever restaurant Aichi chose.
"Yes, this looks great!" Replied Aichi, leading Misaki into the restaurant through the big glass front doors. From the outside the restaurant would seem to look very posh and fancy but when you walked in the atmosphere was completely different, it still had regular tables and chairs like most places but the decor was more like an American diner with a hint of Italian taste. Aichi and Misaki helped themselves to a two seated table in the corner and sat down facing each other.
Aichi was still having thoughts about Misaki and how she potentially felt about him, he thought about how Misaki was the one to cuddle up against him on the park bench and beckoned Kamui and the gang to leave them alone at the park as well. After looking through the menu, Misaki was the first to speak;
"Would you mind sharing a pizza with me Aichi? I don't think I can finish a full one on my own"
"I'd love to Misaki!" replied Aichi, happy that Misaki wants to share a pizza with him. Aichi ordered the pizza when the waitress came over and they both were just talking about a random mix of things until the pizza came, mostly about Vanguard. When the pizza finally came both Misaki and Aichi were hungry and wasted no time eating the pizza. It wasn't long until they came down to the last few slices of the pizza and just as Aichi was taking a sip of his drink he almost dropped the glass, managing to spill some water on his T-shirt.
Initially this embarrassed Aichi but much to his surprise this made Misaki let out a little giggle which suppressed his nerves.
"I can't believe I spilt my drink on my new T-shirt!" exclaimed Aichi, a little frustrated at his mistake.
"It's only a little water Aichi, here, let me dry it" softly spoke Misaki as she leant over the table, using her napkin to wipe the water of his T-shirt while also smiling at Aichi. Aichi smiled back, almost in trance from Misaki's beautiful smile. Once Misaki was finished drying Aichi's T-shirt she leant back over to her seat and put her napkin on her plate. When it came for the time to pay the bill Misaki reached into the pocket of her jacket and pulled out her purse with the money shin gave her for today.
"No no Misaki, let me pay, It doesn't feel right if I let you pay" Quickly said Aichi when he saw Misaki pulling out her purse."
"But Shin gave me this money to use Aichi"
"It's ok Misaki, we can use that some other time" Aichi then went into his pocket, got out his wallet and left the money for the bill on the table. As Misaki and Aichi were leaving the restaurant, all that Misaki could think of was the fact that Aichi had said they could use the money from Shin for another time which meant that he wanted them to go together again. Misaki also wanted to go out with Aichi again but was mainly surprised by Aichi's sudden surge of confidence.
On the way back to the shop Aichi didn't even have to attempt to hold Misaki's hand or wait for hers to brush up against his because as soon as they left the restaurant and started walking Misaki almost instantly grabbed Aichi's hand and held it for the remainder of the walk home.
When they finally reached Card Capital Misaki stopped them both just before they got to the front doors and turned to face Aichi, still holding his hand.
"I had a great time today with you Aichi!" Said Misaki, deep down not wanting the day with Aichi to end.
"Me too Misaki! We should do this again sometime!" replied Aichi , Misaki responded with another one of her beautiful smiles.
"Looks like I need to go tell Kamui and Morikawa to go home now" After Misaki had said this she leant in towards Aichi and went onto her tip toes and kissed Aichi on the cheek and said;
"Goodnight Aichi" Aichi also bid Misaki goodnight and stood and watched her walk into Card Capital. After the doors had closed behind Misaki, Aichi turned around and started to walk home, still trying to come to grips that Misaki had just kissed him on the cheek. Aichi was starting to feel the happiest he had in a long time since the Asia Circuit.
