Hello everyone

Here it is, the last chapter of my fic All of me. It took me some time but, here it is.

I want to say thank you to my beta reader for reading the chapters and helped me with the mistakes. I also want to say thanks you to everyone who some of the previous chapters and to the ones who decided to join me in the adventure of writing this fic giving me their opinion or encouraging me to keep going with it. Epilogue

One year later

Gabby was walking around the apartment trying to put some order. There were toys and baby books all around the living room. When she placed the last toy in a basket, she looked around the living room seeing all the Christmas decoration around the house and the Christmas tree.

Suddenly, her eyes met a picture that was on the top of one of the furniture; it was a picture of her and Matt's wedding. She could not believe that in a couple of day sit would be their first anniversary.

Next to that picture there was another one of them holding their baby girl the day she was born; that was the first picture of them as a family of three. She took the picture in her hands and ran her fingers over the glass. She remembered that day pretty well, it was the end of May when she went into labor, it was two weeks too early so, Matt was still working. In fact, he was in the middle of a call when he received a call saying that Gabby was on her way to the hospital. Luckily, he arrived in time to be there when the small baby arrived into the world.

Flash back

Gabby was looking around her; an ambulance brought her to the Chicago Med after she broke water and the contractions started. On her way to the hospital, she tried to call Matt but, he did not pick up his phone so, she left him a bunch of messages. She was pretty sure that he was in the middle of a call.

She was alone in the delivery room, except for the medical staff, when she arrived she heard a doctor saying that the baby could be there in any moment. Her hands were shaking on the top of her belly and she was pretty worried. All that she wanted in that moment was to have Matt on her side and heard him saying that everything were gonna be fine. All of that situation was scaring her and a lot of question started to arrive to her head. Was Matt fine? Did he get hurt in the middle of a call and that is why he did not call her yet? Will the baby be alright?

"Mrs. Casey" a doctor said "You are almost dilated so the baby could be here within the hour. A nurse will help you to put on a gown so you can be more comfortable-"

"Can we wait a little longer? My husband is on his way, I am sure" she had never been as worried as she has in that moment.

"we can give him a few minutes-"

"Thanks" she said crying

And suddenly a tall blonde man dressed in bunker gear entered the delivered room followed by a nurse.

"Gabby" he said as soon as he saw Gabby and ran to her side "How are you, baby?"

"Matt" she said and some tears started to fall down her cheeks.

"Are you her husband?" the doctor asked

"Yeah"

"Alright, don't worry everything is gonna be fine and in no time you will be holding your baby" The doctor said before going to get ready for the delivery

"I am scared" Gabby said

"Everything is gonna be alright. I am here" he said and cuddled her "In a few hours you will be holding our little girl and everything will be worth it "

End of the flash back

In the picture, she was lying in her hospital bed pretty tired but, with a big smile on her face, Matt was at her side, still dressed in his Lieutenant Grey polo and work pants, holding a small baby wrapped in a soft pink blanket smiling to the camera. She left the picture where it was before and walked to the nursery that Matt built for their daughter with his own hands one year ago. From the hallway, she could hear Matt's voice, she was sure that he was telling again another story to their daughter. He loved to speak with the small baby; in fact, he could spend hours and hours just talking to her.

Not making any noise she the door to the nursery, seeing father and daughter sharing a sweet moment. Matt was sitting on the rocking chair that he made months ago for her; with their small baby sitting on his legs looking at him with her big blue eyes that she got from her father.

"And without thinking twice, your mother entered in the room. There were flames everywhere but, she was not scared" he made a small pause looking at his daughter and despite of what Gabby said, he was pretty sure that she understood every word of his stories" Quickly she found the man that was trapped in the middle of the flames and got him outside of the building before it collapsed. Your mommy is a hero, little one" he said concluding the story. The baby laughed softly and Matt hugged her after kissing her on her forehead. A few minutes later the baby fell asleep in the protective arms of her father. Matt rubbed her little back softly and said "Sleep well, baby girl"

Matt got up of the rocking chair to put the baby on her crib when he noticed that Gabby was in the door staring him with a smile on her lips "Hey, how long have you been there?" He asked surprised looking at his wife

"Long enough to hear how I saved the man life" she joked "Baby, I told you, Elizabeth is just seven months old, she does not understand what you tell her yet"

It was not the first time that she caught him telling their baby her stories from when she was working on truck or now that she was working on ambo.

"Her name is Gabriella, Gabriella Elizabeth Casey. She is a mini-you since the moment that she was born she even has your attitude" he said laughing "and she loves to hear your stories and how her mommy saves life when she used to be a firefighter or now as an EMT. She does not fall asleep unless I tell her one, I swear" he said placing carefully the sleeping baby in her crib and kissed her in her forehead "One day she did not fall asleep until I did it"

"Baby, we agreed on not calling her Gabriella, she needs her own name too. We agreed on calling her Ellie" She said brushing the baby's hair "Besides, what she loves is to hear your voice not my stories, yours are more interesting" Gabby tucked the baby in with a blanket and looked at her. She was perfect, like a little angel and, she was the perfect combination of both of her parents. She had the eyes and nose of her father and the hair, smile and skin colour of her mother.

"Talk to me" Matt whispered in her ear. He encircled his arms around her waist and she rested her head on his shoulder blade.

"Can you imagine? One year ago, we were fighting and we could not even see each other and now here we are... married and with a beautiful daughter in our lives"

"Yeah, it is crazy, right?" He said "For me, it is like if it was yesterday when I was standing up in the altar waiting for you"

Gabby turned around and pressed her lips against his "I love you" and she pressed her lips one more time against his

" When is everyone coming?" He asked with his forehead resting against hers

"In two hours, maybe less" she answered "we have to get ready and I have to finish cooking dinner-"

"Shs-" Matt interrupted her "Both of us need to shower so, why not save some time and water and do it together?" he said seductively

"I. Like. It" she answered between kisses.

Before they could walk out of their daughter's room, Matt grabbed one of the baby phones and put it on the bathroom counter so, in case that Ellie started to cry while they were showering they could heard her.

In the last couple of months, they did not have so much time for them let alone for intimacy, but now that the infant was a little older and slept peacefully most of the time, they had to make the most of it.

Gabby was the first one who entered the bathroom and was already undressing herself when Matt's hands stopped her.

"That is my job, baby" he whispered hoarsely. He was behind her; his hard torso was pressed against her back.

She stopped undressing and let him unbuttoning the buttons of her shirt. Meanwhile his lips were kissing her all over her neck.

"Matt" She moaned when his hands finished unbuttoning her shirt and his hands travelled to the front of her jeans. He knew how to turn her on. In a quick movement, he inserted his right hand inside of her jeans and started to massage her sweet spot.

"Matt" She moaned louder

"Shhh.., you are gonna wake up our daughter" he joked and he inserted his hand inside of her panties. She was already wet and breathing heavily.

"Stop being mean or I swear that -"

"what?" He said provoking her "what are you gonna do, Dawson?" He knew that she could not resist when he said her name

"Or I swear I will-" but she could not end the sentence because of the pleasure that Matt was giving to her, was killing her. He stopped massaging her and she caught her breath a little, she continued saying "I am gonna return your presents to Santa just for being mean"

He laughed "I don't mind. I already have everything I ever wanted" he said referring to their small family. It was not a secret that he always wanted to have kids since he was twenty and finally, twelve years later he got it and with the love of his life.

"Well, in that case I will have to enjoy the lingerie that I bought last week with myself. It is a pity that you don't want to join me-"

"What?" He asked shocked.

"I was sure that you were gonna enjoy it since it has been a while since I wore something like that-" She said seductively making Matt breathing heavily

Since Ellie was born, Gabby started to wear pregnancy bras all the time since it was easier for her to feed the baby and also more comfortable for her sore breasts and nipples. And she couldn't lose the weight that she had gained during the pregnancy, so she refused to wear sexy lingerie ever again.

At first she even refused to undress or being naked in front of Matt and when he finally convinced her of making love again, three months after Ellie was born, they did it but it had to be with the lights out. At first he was alright with it, it was a new way of making love that they have never tried before but, after a while he got annoyed because he enjoyed looking at his wife while they were making love. Some months later, she accepted to make love again whit the light on but, she still refused to wear anything sexy.

"You are the mean one now, you know that?" he said feeling how his jeans were getting tighter each second "I want my Christmas present" he said sounding like a small kid

"You will get it tonight or tomorrow morning, it depends on how you behave tonight-" now she was the one that was controlling the situation. She knew that in that moment she could ask Matt to do whatever she wanted and he would make it without saying a word.

She pushed him again the wall of the bathroom and took off his shirt and as she started taking off his jeans they heard Ellie crying through the baby phone.

"No" Matt said resting his head against the wall letting out a long breath. It was not that he was angry with the small girl, she was a baby but, he and Gabby didn't have a lot of time for them lately and he missed it a little bit.

Gabby kissed him on his lips "I got it. Maybe she is hungry" she grabbed his shirt and put it on

"Alright, I will shower with cold water" he joked

Gabby laughed and walked out of the room after saying "Yeah, you need it"

Ten minutes later, Matt entered in his daughter room and saw Gabby shirtless and with her bra opened on the front, she was breastfeeding Ellie. The love of his life was feeding their daughter and humming a lullaby. He took his phone out of his pocket and took a picture.

When he saw Gabby breastfeeding Ellie for the first time in the hospital, he stayed astonished looking at them for a few minutes without saying anything as if he was afraid to break the magic moment that mother and daughter were sharing.

Gabby looked at him with a big smile on her lips "Did you enjoy your cold shower?" she teased him

"Not really, I feel lonely" he said standing near to his girls "hey baby girl" he said to the small baby when her little eyes focused in her dad "Are you done?"

"Almost" Gabby said "She was pretty hungry" she joked

Some minutes later Gabby stopped of nursing the small baby and Matt took her in his arms so Gabby could dress again "Don't worry, I will burp her. Why don't you take a bath and relax. You have not stopped in the last couple of days"

"Yeah, it is the first Christmas that we celebrate at home with our families. I want it to be perfect-"

"Baby, you need to take a break"

"I can't. I have to-"

"What did you say, Ellie?" Matt said as if he was talking with the baby "Yeah baby girl, I am agreeing with you. She said that we will be fine without you for a couple of minutes. So, go an relax"

"You sure?" Gabby asked after a few seconds of considering his offer.

"Yeah, I can handle my men pretty well, don't you think that I would be able to do the same with our girl?" he laughed

"Alright" she kissed him on his lips and the baby on the top of her forehead "See you in a little"

After that she left the room and walked straight to the bathroom. As soon as she stepped inside the room the smell of some candles came to her. She looked around the bathroom and saw that Matt had lit up some of the aromatic candles that she loved so much. She walked to the bath and started to run the hot water then, she undressed herself and took a seat on the bath. Immediately the hot water helped her achy muscle to relax. The last couple of day had been a mess, Matt has been doubling shifts in the firehouse during the last two weeks so he could spend their first Christmas as a family at home with them. Because of that, she had to take care of everything and that include cooking a Christmas dinner for more than fifteen people.

She was so immersed in her thoughts that she didn't notice Matt entering the bathroom until he placed his hands on her shoulder blades and started to massage her neck.

"Matt" she moaned at the time that she bit her lower lip

"Our baby girl is asleep. I changed her diaper; so, I think that we will have at least an hour for ourselves before our families start coming"

"I still have to do a lot of things!" and she was gonna get out of the bath when Matt hands stopped her

"No way, young lady" he said "You deserve this little moment. I am sure that our moms will be more than glad of helping us to end dinner"

"Matt it is the first time that we celebrate Christmas at home and I want it to be perfect-"

"Baby, it is gonna be perfect as long as we are together-" he said and kissed her on the top of her head "So, relax" and he put some relaxing music with his iPhone.

He continued massaging her on her shoulder, her neck and back for ten more minutes. When he was sure that she had enjoyed her bath and was relaxed, he let her get out of the bathtub.

"Thanks, that was exactly what I needed" she said grateful that he forced her to take some minutes for herself and enjoyed the bath. Since Ellie was born, sometimes she completely forgot to take care of herself; she was more focused on the baby and Matt.

"You are welcome" he said and kissed her on her lips. He passed her a towel and she wrapped her naked and wet body with it

"Enjoying the view, Lieutenant Casey?" From time to time she enjoyed to tease him calling him Lieutenant despite that he was not her Lieutenant anymore.

"Yeah" he laughed "I will leave you to get dress, if not I will need to take another cold shower" he joked

Half an hour later, their families started to arrive to the house and their moms helped them to finish dinner. One hour later, Antonio together with his wife and children arrived too. Antonio and Laura decided to give another chance to their relationship. At first, they decided to take it slowly and see what happened but, some months later Laura found out that she was pregnant again and they could not been happier. Now, she was four months pregnant and their relationship was stronger than ever.

Finally Kelly and Brett joined them. Some months after Matt's and Gabby's weeding they started to spend more time at their home helping them to prepare the house for the baby or buying all the stuff that they were gonna need when the baby arrived. Because of that, Kelly and Brett started to spend more time together outside of the firehouse and not knowing how they ended having their first date in the middle of March.

"Where is the little princess?" Kelly asked after greeting everyone

"She is sleeping in her crib" Matt said and offered him a beer

"Thanks man" he said taking the beer "One year" the Squad Lieutenant said pointing to the weeding photo

"Yeah, I can't imagine it" Matt took a long sip of his beer and asked "And, what about you and Brett? Everything alright?"

"Yeah, this morning I asked her to move in with me and she said yes" he said smiling

"Good. Glad to hear it" and the two friends toasted for that.

"Dinner is ready" Gabby said some minutes later entering in the living room.

After having dinner all together, it was time to open the presents that Santa left under the tree. Baby Ella was the one who had the most presents; she had some new clothes among with a cute pink shirt that had labeled on the front "My daddy and mommy are superheroes".

"This is for you" Matt said giving Gabby a white envelope

"What it is?" She asked curious

"Open it and you will find out" he joked

She opened and saw that on the inside there were two fly tickets to the Dominican Republic and a hotel booking for the second week of February "Matt, what it's that?" was all that she could said.

"Our honeymoon" He said smiling

"Baby" she had never expected something like that

"I know that it have been a year since we got married, I wanted to do it some months ago but, then Ellie born and we got busy with her. Besides, I needed to speak with Chief Boden so, both of us could have two weeks off"

"Two weeks?" she asked looking again the hotel book

"Yeah, I thought that we could expend one week in the Dominican Republic and one week at your parents' cabin with our little girl. You know, have a little family holiday"

"That is why you have been doubling shift in the firehouse in the last week?" she asked some seconds later

"Yeah, sorry about that"

"I love you" she said and kissed him on his lips, she could not believe that she was gonna go with him to Dominican Republic in a few weeks "You are the best"

"I told you, I am just a lucky guy who had the luck of finding his soul mate"

Later that night Gabby and Matt were lying down completely naked in their bed just cuddling and enjoying the quiet. A few hours ago, their families left, leaving them alone so, Gabby decided to give Matt his other present; something that he loved. She had her head pressed on his shoulder blade and Matt thought that she was asleep until she said "What do you think about having another baby?"

Matt had thought before about how great will be to have another child but, he never found the perfect time for asking her what she thought about it "Yeah, it would be nice to have another baby but, I think that it would be good if we wait until Ellie is at least one or two years. Right now we have our hands full with her" he joked "I think that we could start trying it when she is two "he said and kissed her on her lips "But" he said moving in the bed "it does not mean that we cannot start practicing right now" he said rolling on the top of her "I heard that it could take some time and practice to get pregnant a second time" he continued saying and planted some kissed in her neck "are you ready for a second round?" he teased her.

"I am not agreeing with that, baby" She said looking at him. He looked at her not knowing what she meant "Maybe, it is easier than you think to have a second baby-" she made a small pause and continued saying "Maybe, all that we need is to have a romantic date without having our baby girl around. You know dinner, some wine, candles and a long night of passion making love" she said referring to a night that Matt and her spend together two months ago when her parents offered to looked after Ellie so, they could have some time for themselves.

He gave her a curious look and asked "What do you mean?" but she did not respond "Is there something that you are not telling me, Gabby?"

Gabby got up of the bed, took one of his shirts and put it on before walking to the en-suite bathroom grabbing something and hid it behind her back before Matt could see.

"Santa thought that you were pretty good this year so, he brought you another present-"she said smiling and gave him a small wrapped present.

Without losing time, he opened it and saw that it was the same objet that one year ago he found on the bathroom after Gabby walked away. It was the same object that changed their lives one year ago. He could not remember what the result was; were there one or two lines in the one that he found a year ago? In the one that he got in his shaking hand there was two red lines and Gabby was smiling to him so, there was just one possible answer however he was worried of asking.

"It's what I think it is?" he asked excited holding the small pregnancy test in his hands "Are we pregnant again?"

"Yeah, I am eight weeks pregnant" she said smiling

"Oh my God" Matt said not could believe that he was gonna be a father again.

"I know that we have not talk about it until tonight but, -" she started but, he interrupted her crushing his lips against her and he encircled her with his arms.

"It does not matter-" he placed her on the bed and caressed her "When did you find out?"

"I found out that I was pregnant two weeks ago. The same day that I took the pregnancy test of Ellie. I was waiting for the perfect time. So, you are not –"

"No way" he said before she could continue talking "I told you, having a family with you have been my dream for years and now, we are having another baby"

"Yeah, I know but, maybe it is too early, does not it?" she made a pause and some tears started to fill her eyes "I mean, it is not that I don't want this baby, it just that when he or she is born, Ellie will be one year old. She will be too small and will still need a lot of attention too"

"I know but, I am not even worried about it because they will have the greatest mommy in the world on their side"

"And what about their daddy?" she asked crying

"Yeah, their daddy will be there in each step of their lives" he kissed her on the top of her head "Together we will make an incredible family" and he wiped away her tears with his thumbs.

In a quick movement he climbed on the top of her and started to lift the shirt that she was wearing. She laughed as she already knowing what he was gonna do. He pressed his lips on her still flat belly, just above her navel.

"Hi there little peanut, how are you doing?" he said talking with her belly

"Little peanut?" Gabby said shocked

"Yeah, Ellie was little one" he said refereeing to the nickname that they used to refer to Ellie until she was born "so he or she deserves its own name too so, little peanut, do you like it?"

"I love it" she said smiling thinking that it was cute.

"You can't imagine how happy your mother and I are now that I know that you are on your way" he continued talking with her belly "we are very grateful of being blessed with you and your big sister Ellie" he made a little pause and caressed her soft skin "I've made mistakes and bad choices" he said referring with what happened one year ago when he thought that Gabby was having an affair with Peter Mills and she walked away "but life has a way of giving me a second chance. You two, together with meeting your mother, are the best things that have ever happened to me and I promise that you will be loved always. We love you little peanut" he made a pause and looked at Gabby, who had tears in her eyes. He kissed her belly one more time before sitting next to Gabby and wiping away her tears.

"That was the most beautiful thing that I ever heard" Gabby said crying

"Don't cry, baby" he said cupping her face with his hands

"It was so sweet what you said" and some tears continued falling down her checks. "You are an amazing father and husband, Matthew Casey"

"No, I am just a lucky guy who had the luck of meeting the strongest, most single-minded woman in the world"

"Stop or I swear that I am gonna be crying all night"

"As long as they are tears of happiness-"

"Of course they are, silly" she said and punched him softly on his shoulder. After that, she kissed him on his soft lips at the time that her hands traveled all around his body "So, you asked me if I was ready for a second round-" she whispered in his earat the time that she climbed on the top of him. In a quick movement, she removed the shirt of her body.

Since she found out that she was pregnant again with Matt's child something inside of her change. She was not embarrassed of her body anymore. She understood that those changes indicate that now she was a mommy, she was able to create and carry ahuman being inside of her and she was gonna do it again and, that was worth all the changes of the world.

Matt looked at her and smiled, that was his girl, the girl that he had been in love for a long time. He placed his arms on her hips and turned them around so, he was on top of her. He kissed her lips at the time that his hands started to massage her breast and his thumbs played with her hard nipples. She moaned in his mouth and started to brush his short blonde hair.

Some seconds later, Matt broke the kiss and his lips started to run all over her neck, breasts, belly and inner thigh. She was moaning each time that she felt his lips over her mocha skin. Suddenly, she felt Matt's tongue in her sweet spot; she widend her legs more to give him a better access while her hands guided his head.

"Matt" she moaned a couple of times

He continued running his tongue all over her sweet spot along with one of his finger sending her waves of pleasure all over her body.

"Don't stop" she begged crying out and arched her back for giving him a better access.

He looked at and saw her, she was breathing heavy at the time that she bit her lower lip; the pleasure was killing her. He kissed her inner things one last time before attacking her lips.

Ina quick movement, she rolled their bodies so now she was on the top of him. She needed to feel him inside of her right there "I need you now, baby"

He guided his hard member to her entrance and she helped him to get inside of her. He placed his hands on her hips while she put her on the top on his chest. Some seconds later, she started to make small moves. He arched his back and pushed his hips against her to get her closer while she started to move up and down on the top of him.

"Oh, Oh-" she moaned

The waves of pleasure were hitting them at the same time his thrusts were increasing. Only the moaning and breathing could be heard on the room. She was the first one to orgasm and he followed her some seconds later. Both of them were covered in sweat but, that was the last of their worries. She lied on the top of him and he wrapped her body with his arms. They stayed cuddle in the position some minutes just hearing the other heartbeat and breathing.

Then, she rolled off him and lied down next to him with her head resting on his chest.

"You alright?" he asked still breathing heavy

"I am perfect" she said with the wider smile that he ever saw "I love you" and she kissed him on his lips

"I love you too" he grabbed the bed sheet and covered both of them.

She cupped his face and kissed him again she could not believe that she was marry with such as amazing man.

"I love you so much Gabby" Matt whispered breaking the kiss "Com on, let's get some rest before our girl wakes up because she is hungry. Did you prepare some bottles?"

"Yeah, they are in the fridge, why?" she asked feeling tired

"I will take care of her tonight. You need to rest, you have not stopped in the last days and now you are living for two" he said laughing

"Alright" she said that she could not say him no, she know how much he loved to take care of their little girl

Some minutes later both of them fell asleep in a loving embrace and with a wide smile on the lips knowing that in some months they will have a second child in their lives. They know that it was not gonna be all sunshine and roses to reach two kids small kids at the same time but, they were sure that was gonna be a hell of a ride. A ride that, at the end would be worth all the effort.
