Episode 34:The Deal with the Rolls
While binging, Akio muses to Anthy about how every time he finds a new stretch mark upon his ever-expanding mid-section, he wants to "own" it by keeping it secret from others. In non-reply, Anthy snatches his twinkie, causing him to accuse her of "making him suffer." In the next room, a bloated, nightmare-trapped Utena sleep talks about how she would stay fit.
The "I Wonder" team comes to Ohtori Campus hosting their health show. The host trio warns the students about the dangers of succumbing to emotional eating. ("Beware! Beware! You too, Beware!") They citied the infamous case of tween fashion model Dios, who disappeared after his little sister leaked pictures of his shocking weight gain online. Utena listens engrossed, while Akio appears personally insulted somehow. ("Such a problematic piece!")
High on déjà vu from the "I Wonder" show, Utena spends the night thinking back in search of what connection this Dios (and his sister) may have to a certain dramatic, life-changing event from her own childhood . . .
