Holly Vega sat on her couch, a cup of hot tea in her hand, talking to Jade's stepmother Jasmine, with Jade's half brother Caleb sitting next to her. Ever since Tori became pregnant with Jade's child the two of them had taken to talking with each other so that they could be able to help in a second notice with their daughters. Currently they were laughing as they told old stories about their children while their husbands were in the garage looking at David's new Charger. The light of the Christmas tree did nothing to hide how red they were from laughing as Jasmine told Holly the story of when Jade was two and she ran outside butt naked after escaping from her bath.
"She really did that?" Holly laughed, trying her best not to spill her tea.
"She did," Jasmine replied chuckling, "and I mean she was void of anything covering her, and that includes bubbles."
"Oh my," Holly giggled shaking her head, "though I can't say I'm surprised, Trina did the exact same thing when she was five."
"No!"
"The situation was a bit different but she did," Mrs. Vega said recalling the events, "Trina's always been one for attention so when she was five she decided to take her little toy karaoke machine out into the front yard and took off all her clothing before she started to sing."
Jasmine laughed, trying her best to picture the events, but this only caused her to laugh more to a point where she set her drink down so she wouldn't drop it.
"How did you not see her do that?" she asked trying to catch her breath.
"Oh Tori was sick and I was taking care of her, her father was at work at the time," Holly explained setting her cup down, "it was quite a surprise when I got a call from David saying that they just had a call about a nude girl outside our house singing."
The two mothers laughed hard enough it made tears come from their eyes, stopping only when Trina and Jade came running down the stairs, both of their eyes wide with fear. Smiling at the girls, Holly gave them a small wave to catch their attention.
"Is everything okay girls?"
"Oh, su mama," Trina replied grinning innocently.
"Yeah, no problems whats so ev…"

"Aren't you going to stop her?" Holly asked smirking.
Jade sighed, shaking her head and heading up the stairs.
"She can consider this her present from me."
The goth girl reached the top of the stairs and walked over to the door for Tori's room, stopping when she heard soft crying coming from inside. Her heart started to beat faster as she pushed open the door, Tori sitting on her bed with tears in her eyes as she stared down at what appeared to be a broken picture frame.
"Tori," Jade whispered slipping into the room, "is everything okay?"
"I...I was trying to come up with a punishment for you a-and I...I…" Tori whimpered holding up the picture, "I saw this picture of us and our friends and I broke it!"
"Why would you break this picture, it's one of your favorite pictures of the group?" Jade asked gently taking it away from her, "this was taken just after…"
"Just after Rachel became our friend, " the singer cried, Jade smiling slightly add she shook her head, "I broke it because, because I saw me and I'm skinny in it and soon I'll be fat and you won't love me!
"Vega…"
Jade sat down next to Tori, wrapping her arms around her and pulling her into a hug.
"It doesn't matter to me if you're skinny or fat," the thespian told her girlfriend, poking her belly, "and besides the only reason you'll be gaining weight is because you have a human baby growing inside of you."
"But I…"
"No buts," Jade stated, "Tori you're beautiful inside and out and I get that your hormones are running wild right now but hear me when I say that you gaining weight right now is a good thing."
Tori smiled softly as she felt Jade's lips on top of her head.
"Thank you Jade, I knew that there was a reason I love you," Tori giggles, Jade rolling her eyes.
"Yeah well...I uh, I care about you too," Jade muttered rubbing the back of her neck, "actually I um...I just wanted to say that I...I…"
Tori leaned up and kissed Jade to stop her, giving the pale skinned girl a reassuring smile as she relaxed against her.
"Don't push yourself Jade, just let those words come when you're ready."
"Heh, thanks Tori," Jade sighed holding the half Latina close, "now come on, I think I just heard the doorbell."
"Abuela! Abuelo!" Tori said excitedly, jumping up and running out of the room.
"Hey you need to be careful!" Jade yelled after her.
Making her way downstairs, Jade was able to see Detective Vega's parents hugging their granddaughters, Abuela Vega pinching Tori's cheek.
"Ah Tori, mira lo hermosa que eres," Tori's grandmother said smiling, "Y he oído que estás embarazada."

"She doesn't like talking in English, she gets embarrassed because she thinks she's not saying the words correctly," Tori explained, "we've tried to tell her she's doing fine but she's stubborn and won't listen."
Tori smirked as she looked over at the goth girl.
"Just like someone else I know."
"Heh, guilty," she replied, "and you're abuelo? He seemed to be doing fine speaking English."
"He moved to America with his family when he was two and grew up here, he met my abuela when he went back to him his abuela and abuelo and the two of them fell in love," Tori said leaning against Jade, "after awhile he found that he didn't like being away from her so he went back to Mexico, married her, and brought her back to America to live with him."
"Romantic," Jade smirked.
Tori hummed in agreement and nuzzled her girlfriend when she heard the door to the garage open up.
"So I've heard that the ham is ready," David grinned as Jade's father walked in after him.
"How convenient it is that you came out of the garage after everything is ready," Jasmine pointed out with a smirk towards Jonathan.
"Hey everytime I even try to step into the kitchen I get yelled at," Jonathan defended making David chuckle.
"That's because you can't cook to save your life," Jade reminded him, walking over with Tori at her side, "last time you tried you almost burnt down the kitchen."
Jasmine snorted as Jonathan rubbed the back of his neck, Holly smiling as she clapped her hands together.
"Alright, why don't we eat!"
"Sounds good mom," Tori replied, pulling Jade over to the table.
Dinner was set out, the group digging in while conversing amongst themselves. Everything was going the way that it should in Tori's mind, the half Latina knowing that it was the perfect night for what she and Jade had planned. Smiling, Tori glanced over at Jade, the goth girl looking back at her and smirked, taking a hold of Tori's hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze. Dinner finished up and the two families made their way over to the living room area, the grown ups taking the couch and the recliners as Jade, Tori, and Trina took the floor in front of the tree.
"Well then now that we've eaten, why don't we go ahead and open presents," Holly suggested sitting down.
"Yay!" Tori said excitedly making Jade chuckle.
"Jeez Vega, if I didn't know better I'd say you're more excited then Cat is about this holiday."
Tori stuck her tongue out at her girlfriend, Jade taking a hold of the soft pink appendage and refusing to let it go.
"Alright girls play nice," Jasmine giggled, "now then Holly why don't you tell us how you go about celebrating Christmas in your house."
"Well normally we have the youngest hand out the presents so Tori usually gets to do it," Holly explained with a smirk, "but it seems that we have someone younger this year."
Caleb smiled brightly, jumping off the couch and running over to the tree to start handing out presents. With help from both Jade and Tori he was able to do so and soon the presents were all handed up and set into neat piles for everyone. Tori and Jade were able to open their's first, Jade grinning like the chesire cat as she held up her present.
"No way, Batman Return to Arkham and Batman Arkham Knight for my PS4!"
"I thought you might enjoy those," Tori said smiling, "you said you've been wanting those games."
Jade leaned over and gave Tori a quick kiss on the cheek, Tori returning the gesture and opening her present from Jade.
"Oh Jade I love it!" Tori exclaimed as she held up a necklace with a gold microphone pendent.
"Wow Jade that looks great," David said in shock, "how did you afford that?"
"Not telling," Jade grinned as she looked at Tori and gave her a nod, "and now we have a gift for all of you."
"Oh and what might that be?" Jonathan asked as Caleb climbed up onto his lap.
Tori smiled and ran up the stairs, coming back down with two gift bags. Jade walking over to Tori and the group hearing the two murmur to each other softly before switching around the two gifts and turning around to face them.
"So as you know Tori is around sixteen months pregnant," Jade explained with a grin.
"That's apparent since she's starting to show a little bit," Trina muttered earning a glare from Jade.
"Anyway we know that we have given you each a gift and this is more of a surprise then it is a gift," Jade continued.
"Unless you want a sweater after this," Tori said nonchalantly.
"Okay so what's this surprise?" David asked curiously.
Tori and Jade both turned around and pulled out a sweater from their bags, each of them putting one on and Jade nodding to Tori. Turning around Tori smiled as the group saw one word on her sweater "Michelle," and then turned their attention to Jade who turned around as well to show off her sweater "Tawny."
"Girls is that…"
"Our granddaughter's name!" Holly said excitedly cutting off Jasmine.
"Yep, Michelle Tawny West," Tori said happily.
"You have no idea how long it took me to get her to agree to letting me name her Tawny," Jade sighed sitting back down.
Holly and Jasmine were over to their daughters in seconds, both of them hugging them happily and making Jade gasp for air.
"Mom...mom choking…"
"Oops sorry Jade," Jasmine apologized letting her go, "so have you told anyone else?"
"Nope you guys are the first to know," Tori admitted, "and Cat's totally going to kill us for not telling her first."
"Ah she'll understand," Jade reasoned hugging her, "family comes first after all."
"True, true," Tori agreed nodding.
"Well thank you girls for telling us," David grinned, "but I'm curious, how did you decide the last name?"
"Arm wrestling," Jade joked, Tori smacking her arm.
"We uh...we talked about it," Tori said biting her lower lip, "and we decided that if…"
"When," Jade interrupted.
"Right, when we get married, that I um...I'm going to take her last name," Tori explained, "yeah...sorry about that."
"Heh, well we were kind of expecting it," David admitted grinning, "we have two daughters after all."
"So wait you're already talking about getting married?" Jonathan questioned.
"Nothing official yet but...yeah we kind of figured we'd get married since we're having a child together," Tori answered.
"I… I want my child to grown up with both her parents there, not one parent living in one house and another parent living in another house," Jade explained, "so we talked about it and decided that once we're ready we'll get married."
Jasmine and Holly gushed excitedly as they started going over what they should do for a wedding, Tori smiling and trying to calm them down before they went too overboard. Standing up from the recliner he was in, Jonathan motion for Jade to follow him and led her into the garage, closing the door behind him.
"So what's up?" Jade asked confused.
"You really want to marry her?" he questioned, Jade frowning in response.
"It's like I said out there, I want our child growing up with her parents in one place," she replied shoving her hands in her pockets, "why do you not want me to?"
"I never said that," Jonathan assured her, reaching into his own pocket, "but I want you to have this when you ask her.
He held out his hand to Jade, a small velvet box in it that Jade took and opened up to take a look inside. Inside the box was a gold ring, a small diamond set in the middle with sapphires surrounding it.
"Dad this...this is…"
"The ring that I used to propose to your mother, and the ring that your grandfather used to propose to your grandmother," he explained, "I know that my marriage with your mother didn't work out Jade, so this ring has some history to it, but maybe it will work better with you and Tori."
Jade smiled and hugged her father, Jonathan returning the hug.
"Thank dad," Jade whispered.
"You're welcome Jade," he replied, kissing the top of her head and heading back inside.
Smiling Jade looked down at the ring and imagined it on Tori's hand before closing it and pulling out her currently vibrating phone. Unlocking it her smile grew as she saw a picture that Rachel send her of her and Cat under a mistletoe with Cat kissing her cheek with the message.
Guess who's dating now!
Chuckling she walked back into the kitchen and looked over at the rest of the group, all of them laughing as Caleb played with some of his new toys.
"Merry Christmas everyone," the goth girl whispered, as she walked over and took her place next to Tori.
