Time is…9:30 am
Finally…Lincoln had recovered fully from his injuries…and he wasn't feeling fine still…he still thought about…that…night.
"I wonder if that's possible…and I hope iris don't mind helping me…through all this…"
"HEY LINCOLN!"
"Uh? Oh… what's up lynn?"
"DUH were leaving today! You already recovered fully!"
"Oh yeah I can now move my arm and my leg without feeling a lot of pain." Lincoln was in fact still feeling a bit of pain but nothing he can't handle.
"Good to hear that! Because I missed a few trainings and events when I was in the hospital with you…so I hoped I could ask your help for…well you know…"
"I will be there for you…but first…we should go and say hi to the rest don't you think?"
"True…maybe they are really missing you and me…" she wasn't right…one of them…wasn't happy…with her return…
"Well then let's go!"
"Nope…Lynn we still have to wait for Lori to pick us did you forget?"
"True…what do you want to do then?"
"Hmm…" Lincoln then…had a feeling he should ask if she…remembered something…
"Lynn…do you remember what happen a week ago?"
"…I think…but I thought it was a nightmare…"
"Yes…it wasn't but im not trying to…well you know"
"Yes I know…you just want answers right?"
"…yes but…I have an only main question…what happen?"
"What do-?"
"Lynn you remember what happen when you was possessed?"
"I…do but what does it-?"
"Did you saw a ghost…or maybe…a child…in your dreams?"
"…I only saw you…"
"…darn…"
"What? Something is wrong?"
"Lynn…I have to tell you something important but you have to maintain it in secret…from everybody…"
"…what's so important…to keep it a secret?"
"…I…know who the killer…is"
"What?! Who?!"
"I can't tell you if you are going to make a stupid thing…Lynn I know you enough…DON'T TRY SOMETHING RISKY AND DON'T TELL ANYBODY! I MADE MISELF CLEAR?!"
"…ok"
"Well…then first I have to explain a few things…ok?"
"ok"
then lincoln tried his best to explain lynn…who was john…who was iris and all the details of the nightmare and the dreams he had…when he ended explaining the whole situation…lynn was confused and shocked at the same time…
"Lincoln…then…he was…torturing you all this time…and you didn't tell anybody?"
"Yes…I thought I was going crazy…but actually he was just haunting me…"
"Then…this john…Is hunting you for revenge?"
"Yeah…"
"But you have no idea of what did you do in the first place to target you… right?"
"Right."
"And his sister…is helping you because it's wrong and…she is…?"
"Yes…"
"…it's sad…that she…is…"
"Yeah…" Lincoln didn't tell her about their backstory…he think she could be more confused…
"Then…you have to be careful…right? With…our bonds…"
"Yes…that could explain why you wasn't in control that night…"
"…im sorry for trying to kill you…"
"WHAT NO! It wasn't your fault…it was mine…but I was shocked because of what you did to Luna…"
"Oh and im sorry for treat Luna like that…too"
(Hug)
"you don't have to apologize me…you know who you have to apologize…"
"… (Sob) true…im sorry…"
"Me too…"
…time passed and they just shared an innocent hug…they felt like nothing was wrong…
(A few hours later…)
The vanzilla finally arrived…only with Lori.
"HI IM HERE!"
"It's Lori…we have to go"
"Yeah let's go lynn! I miss the food of the house!"
"Yeah me too!"
Then they hopped in the vanzilla…
"Then…how was your time here twerps?" said Lori trying to break the ice.
"Well…I just had a few nightmares…and the food sucked like Aunt Ruth's "food" but it was fine…" said Lincoln with a silly smile.
"And how about you Lynn?"
"Well…same I guess…but with a little extra…"
Lincoln was eyeing her just in case she would let the secret slip out by accident.
"I hit with a ball the "balls" of lincoln by accident…"
"…?" Lincoln was really holding the anger…and the smile he had that moment…
"YOU DID WHAT?! HA! HA! HA!" Lori wasn't even trying to her smile and her laugh like a total crazy woman…ovbiusly Lincoln and Lynn naturally give up and they all started to laugh like total maniacs…loud and louder each second it passed… (NO PUN INTENDED!)
Then after the healthy laugh…Lincoln asked something…that stopped Lori in her tracks.
"How are the others? Lori?"
"…uh…they…"
"Umm…"
"…they what?" lincoln inspected lori…she seemed…odd…she hadn't any makeup…and her had big bags…in her eyes…he could't belive he didn't noticed it until now…he started to worry.
"Well…Lincoln…with you and Lynn in the hospital…we…haven't been the same…"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WITH THAT!?" Lincoln started to get pale…
"NO! NO! They haven't changed…they all are just tired…and confused…"
"What do you mean with that?" asked Lynn with curiosity in her eyes.
"Well…lynn…lincoln knows everything about the operation revenge?"
Lynn went cold…and Lincoln…just stared…at Lori
"Yes I know…what you did?" Lincoln now had an expression of worry.
"Well…we haven't sleep since the attack at Lynn…so…we did had a group reunion about if we should try or leave that aside…forever…"
"…I don't like were this is going…" thought Lincoln.
"Well…I don't know…exactly…but maybe I can remember…when we reach home…" she was lying…and she knew it exactly…what happen…these days…
(Flashback) (2 and half weeks before…)
Time was 10:30 pm…
"FAMILY REUNION! COME TO THE LIVING ROOM NOW!" Said Lori…with worry…
There were…luan, Luna, leni Lisa and Lori…all the younger sisters were sleeping.
"Here we are!" said all in unison (except Luna)
"I here to discuss about the operation "revenge"… what have you done these days Lisa? Did you discover something?"
"…nothing…no DNA to analyze…and the items provided by the crime scenes aren't any more useful… the killer is hiding very well from the local law…and from me…" said Lisa with a tone of defeat…
"Don't worry…we have to find a clue eventually…"
"Until somebody gets attacked…I suppose…" said with a very cold tone Lisa…more to herself…
"NO! Weren't letting the killer attack any other loud…!" said Luna with anger in her eyes.
"Well…what do you think you are going to do…Luna? …and you are still hurt by…the fight…" asked Lisa…
"I have no ideas…well…maybe I have one…but it's too risky…and I can still move…a little"
"What do you mean? What's the idea?" asked Lori
"…im not too sure…but I thought the killer is only looking for Lincoln…and all of us right?"
"…right…I think so…" said Lori.
"I think I know what are you trying to say…and in fact it's a very risky move…" said Lisa almost instantaneously knowing what was the plan.
"You try to say that if he attacks again it will be somebody from the family right?" stated Lisa.
"Yes…he already attacked Lincoln…Lynn and me…the thing is…maybe he will then attack somebody else…maybe leni…or even…"
"Me…" said Lori
"Or me!" said luan with worry
"So…you want to try to lure the killer towards any of your sisters to finally try and capture him?" asked Lisa.
"NO! LINCOLN NEVER EVER WANTED TO TRY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!" said with rage Luna.
"But…it was your idea…that means you aren't going to come with the plan?"
"NO! Lincoln…he is the only voice of reason here! If I do what you all say then…he will never belive in me…again…"
"…were doing it not only for his sake…"
"Yes…I know…but he is the only thing keeping me go forward…"
That was in fact something…nobody ever wanted to admit…their only brother was there for everything they needed…no matter what…no matter where…he was always there…
"…I understand…we need him more than what we need each other…" said Lori
"…" everyone was silent…trying to digest what Lori said…
"…then…what are we going to do…?" asked luan…
"Were going for the plan…Luna…if you…?"
She left…
"Where is she?"
"I saw her leaving upstairs" said leni.
"Then…we have to make the necessary adjustments…first…who will be the one?"
"…well…if it's true the killer is going after us…we can't lure him…" said luan.
"Why?" asked Lisa
"What if…if he actually is choosing each victim…or what if he is actually spying us right now?" said luan with a lot of worry in her face.
"Hmm…I didn't think about that…"
"So…then what other idea do any of you suggest?"
"…"
"…nothing…"
"Then I…shall provide us with a plan but I will take a while until it's done…meanwhile why we don't do our usual activities?" said Lisa…with a bit of worry…
"…im worried about lincoln…what if he gets attacked again…what are we gonna do if things still go like that…if lincoln…" lori didn't even finish the sentence…but everybody in the room…knew what was about to say…
"Listen lori…he won't…die…" Lisa was trying her hardest to not break…
"But…if…not him…maybe…" then she signaled…the upstairs…still stained with blood…
"…neither lynn…"
"BUT IM SOO USELESS! WE CAN'T PROTECT OUR LITTLE SISTERS AND BROTHER! WHAT IF THE KILLER GOES FOR THE YOUNGER SIBLINGS! WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO!" Lori just broke…she couldn't contain herself…
"…" nobody said anything…yet they felt the same pain…
Then lisa leaned towards lori with a serious face…
"lori…I promise to you…I will find him…I will torture him…and then he will be sent to jail…for his entire life…no matter what age he has…I will do everything in my power to make him suffer… just please…give me time…" said in a deadly tone Lisa…
"… (Sniff) (Sob) but…we can't handle you that responsibility… you only have 4…"
"But I know I have to do it for the family…besides…" Lisa then was looking at the upstairs…
"It's our duty to protect what is ours…our entire family…"
Luan and leni were there…just hearing…everything…and they were in the edge of crying…
"…" Lori didn't knew what to do…
"Let's go to sleep…tomorrow I will explain the whole plan…just let's rest tonight ok?"
All nooded…they all had enough…suffering…
"Ok…" finally said Lori with a few tears in her eyes…
"…then let's go…and no word to mom or dad ok nor the other sisters understand?"
"Ok…" all said in unison…
"Ok then…let's go…"
(End of Lori's flashback)
(Beginning of…Luna's flash back)
A few hours later…
It was 12:45 am…
Everybody left…but a shadow was sitting in the middle of the sofa…holding a guitar…
"I can't belive they are still with that…"
She was holding the picture Lincoln took from his sisters…the gift he gave to their fathers…
"…lincoln…why does the others…want to do this…"
"… (Sob) I hoped…they…would change their mind…but…I guess…they won't…"
"I…im not capable of…protecting you…what im supposed to do…"
Then she saw Lynn In the family portrait…
"…and it's all your fault…"
"…I will make sure you can't ever hurt Lincoln again…no matter…how…I will…never let you get near my linc again…" as she was holding harder her guitar… she now was starting to…sing…a very dark song…
"(No matter when no matter how…I will stop you…!
If you dare to touch my most beloved treasure…I will be there…
To rescue it from your selfish hands…then I will laugh at you incompetent hands…
Full of the sweat…
She was losing it…
Yeah!
I will give a good fight jock…
Im not giving up until you do…and then…
He will be mine…him… he… he…
WHY CAN'T YOU ALL LEAVE HIM REST IN PEACE…?
YOU ALL SELFISH BRATS…WILL PAY IF THEY DARE…
To torture him…
Then…she went crazy…
I will really break my guitar in their heads if necessary!
HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!
YOU WILL ALL SUFFER MY WRATH!"
Goodnight…Lincoln…and I hope…you can help me in this abyss of craziness…)
Then…she just started to cry…silently…and hopeless…
"…im making sure…to have you…only for me…I will rescue you…from them…"
Then…she went to her bedroom…
But certain…sister…heard everything…and certain ghost…too…
"What is she going to do…" as she thought she left to her bedroom…
"Well… well… poor Luna…maybe…Lincoln did this to her too…" then he left…
(End of flashback…)
The louds then…got home…
