Naruto was sulking.
It was a few days before Christmas and instead of hanging out with him, his girlfriend had gone late-night shopping with a bunch of her girlfriends.
He crossed his arms and pouted at this. She was his girlfriend! She should be spending time with him! Doing things much better than shopping! More pleasurable things . . .
He jumped when someone knocked on his door, wiping the goofy grin he hadn't noticed appeared, off his face.
Opening the door, he was greeted by a group of his guyfriends.
"Yo." Shikamaru greeted casually.
"Hey guys," Naruto replied, receiving smiles and greetings of "hey" and "hi", "what's up?"
"Since our girls are out shopping, we thought we might as well go enjoy ourselves as well." Kiba said.
"Yes, and we managed to drag our single comrades along too!" Lee said enthusiastically, pointing to Shino, Sai and Sasuke.
Naruto grinned widely. Even after everything, Sasuke still had a ravenous following of fangirls, yet no girlfriend.
"So?" Sasuke questioned impatiently. "You coming or what?"

Kagome was walking down the street with Temari, Ino, Hinata, Tenten and Sakura.
She had bought a bunch of Christmas decorations for Naruto's apartment, it was going to look great! She had also gotten Naruto his Christmas present, a voucher for up to 3 free bowls of ramen a day for a year at Ichiraku Ramen! He was going to love it!
She was laughing about something Temari said about her Christmas present for Shikamaru also being edible (if you know what I mean), when she heard a commotion from up ahead.
A bunch of drunken guys singing, leaning on each other and laughing were coming towards them. On closer inspection, she noticed that Naruto was among them!
Not just Naruto, but all of their boyfriends!
Naruto had his arm around both Sasuke's and Sai's necks, laughing in Sai's ear while Sasuke looked amused by what Kiba was saying. Kiba was walking next to Sasuke, leaning slightly on Shino, who looked as he normally did, though with what appeared to be flushed cheeks. Neji was next to Sai, wobbling a bit as he tried to stop Lee from destroying everything in his path. And Shikamaru was walking calmly next to a singing Choji.
The girls all had blank looks on their faces as the loud group stumbled towards them.
"Heeeeeeeeyy!" Naruto slurred loudly with an extremely goofy grin on his face. "Look guys, it's our girls!"
Now the girls were all looking at the drunken buffoons making fools out of themselves trying to run towards them.
The guys stood (kinda) in front of the girls with goofy grin on their faces, while the girls stared/glared at them with looks varying from exasperation to barely concealed anger.
Naruto had managed to wiggle his way out of Sai and Sasuke's arms and glomped Kagome, making them both fall onto the snow covered ground, his face snuggling into her cleavage.
"Mmm, Gome-chan you're warm!" He said happily as he burrowed his face further into her bosom.
"N-Naruto!" Kagome shouted, face going red from embarrassment and anger, "G-get off! You're heavy!"
Naruto grumbled and looked up at her face, "But I'm comfy!" He whined.
He blinked as he was suddenly hauled on to his feet by the scruff of his neck. He looked and saw Sakura holding the back of his jacket as Hinata and Temari helped Kagome to her feet.
Naruto pouted and complained, "Sakura-chan, why'd you go do that for?"
Sakura sighed and let go of him, letting him wobble as he tried to stand by himself.
"Well," Kagome started, "I suppose we should drag our men back home before they cause any more damage." Kagome gave a pointed look at Sakura, who blushed before looking at Lee, who'd just punched a hole in someone's sliding door.
"Good idea." Sakura said as she went after Lee, managing to lead him in the direction of their apartment.
"Come on Hinata, we'll all stay at the Hyuuga district tonight." Tenten said as she grabbed Neji's hand.
"Ok." Hinata replied, leading Kiba towards her house by his upper arm, turning and waving at the others.
Temari and Ino then gathered up Shikamaru and Choji before heading off as well.
Kagome stood there looking at Naruto and sighed.
"Would you like some help getting him home Kagome-chan?" Sai asked.
"No thanks," Kagome replied, "I can manage. What about you guys?" She asked, "Will you all be alright to get home on your own?"
"Yeah, we'll be fine." Shino replied.
"Some of us can actually tolerate our liquor." Sasuke said, jabbing Naruto lightly with his elbow.
"Hey!" Naruto shouted loudly.
Kagome simply shook her head before standing next to Naruto and putting his arm over her shoulder. "I'll see you guys later then. Have a good night." Kagome said, before heading off to Naruto's apartment, Naruto hanging and swinging off of her awkwardly the whole way home.

Kagome had finally managed to get the apartment door open, drop her bags in the hall and drag Naruto to the living room, plopping him down on the couch.
Kagome heaved a sigh of relief as she moved to return to the hall, only to be caught around the waist and pulled down next to Naruto, who then proceeded to pull her chest to his and wrap his arms and legs around her, tucking her head under his chin and smelling her hair.
Kagome blushed brightly. "N-Naruto! Let me go! I have to put everything away!"
Naruto grumbled and opened his eyes, tilting his head slightly in confusion when he saw something in her hair. Slowly, a slightly perverted grin stretched across his face as Kagome looked up at him.
Kagome that look and got nervous, "What's that look for?" She asked suspiciously.
Naruto's grin only got wider as he said, "You've got something in your hair."
Confused, Kagome reached up and felt for the object. Finding it, she grasped it and gently pulled it from her hair.
'Mistletoe?' Kagome thought. "Huh." She mumbled, "It must have fallen out of th-"
She was cut off from her ramblings by a pair of soft lips on hers.
'He tastes like sake and ramen.' Was Kagome's last coherent thought before returning the kiss with much enthusiasm.
