Chapter 27: You Have My Heart

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Came a high pitched squeal from Hidan and Kakuzu's room.
"Get that thing away from me!" Kagome shouted behind her as she walked out of the room and down the hallway, towards the kitchen/living room.
Hidan was trailing closely behind her, holding an unwrapped box in his hands.
"Fuck that! Do you know how long I spent thinking about the perfect Valentine's gift for you?" Hidan cursed at her.
Kagome stopped in the doorway to the living room and turned to face him head on. "And that's your idea of a perfect gift?"
Hidan leaned towards her, his face no more than an inch from hers, and shouted, "Of course it fucking is! What better way to show you that I love you?!"
If it weren't for the object inside the box he was holding, she'd almost think it was sweet.
"Anything would've been a better way to show it!" she shouted before stomping through the living room towards the base's entrance.
Konan and Pein looked at each other, having heard the whole exchange from their spot on the couch, before Konan spoke up. "Why is Kagome so angry over your gift?"
"That's what I'd fucking like to know!" Hidan yelled, "I just wanted to give her my heart!"
"What is in the box?" Pein questioned.
"Didn't you hear me?" Hidan replied, opening the box to show the couple its contents.
Both pairs of eyes widened at the sight. "I said I wanted to give her my heart!"
And there it was.
In a cardboard box.
Still bloody and beating.
Konan looked disgusted, while Pein just sighed and shook his head. No wonder Kagome had reacted the way she did.
"WHAT!?" Hidan roared.
Konan rolled her eyes and stood, going to find Kagome and get her to calm down.
Pein shook his head at Hidan, "You really don't get women, do you?"

A/N: Happy almost 2 months after Valentine's Day! n.n Sorry for not updating for so long, I got a job and, though it's only casual work as a pizza delivery driver, I've been exhausted and any time I've felt like writing, I've been working on different stories XD I'll hopefully update again sometime in the next two weeks n.n

I will be writing a InuYasha x Bleach crossover fic called 'Shinigami Miko Madness!' and a InuYasha x Everything crossover fic called 'Multi Miko Madness!'
I am accepting pairing and theme requests for both, but they will NOT be posted for a long time!
'Multi Miko Madness' will be crossovers of EVERYTHING! ANIME, BOOKS, TV, MOVIES, GAMES etc.
