Chapter 7: Help Has Arrived

Hinata cried hysterically on Naruto's chest hoping her tears could at least bring him back to her. Her fingers were like rakes, running up and down his jacket, tearing at the tiny cloth strings on the corners and sides. When she lifted up her head, her eyes were red and puffy from crying for about 10 minutes non-stop. Her nose was runny and her hair was a mess, too. "Naruto..." She said one last time and lifted her hand and ran it through his hair. She leaned in and kissed him on his cheek before crawling over to Kiba. When she finally got there, Hinata fixed up his loose collar and dusted off his shoulders and pants. "Kiba..." Hinata started but couldn't finish when she realized Akamaru was nowhere to be found. "Akamaru? Akamaru?" Hinata called out, but no answer at all. A ruffling noise came from the bushes and seconds later Akamaru emerged from the bushes and kept barking repeatedly. "Arf! Arf! Arf!" He barked and kept spinning around in circles. "Akamaru? No one can hear us, just give it up..." But of course, he still kept barking. Moments later, Neji, Ino, TenTen and Sakura came from the trees. "Hinata?" Neji called out and when he saw her on the ground next to Kiba and Naruto just feet away, his tone changed. "Hinata!" He yelled and charged towards her. "Neji please, you don't understand!" Hinata pleaded. Sakura, Ino and TenTen all ran towards Hinata and surrounded her immediately. "Guys, please listen. Kiba and Naruto, look they're hurt! P-please take them to the emergency and I'll explain." Hinata pleaded. "Oh, Hinata." Sakura spoke and hugged her dearly. "Sakura, we didn't come for this, we came to find out what happened." Neji demanded, looking at Hinata dead in the eyes after. "Get up." He added and Hinata tried to stand on her own two feet but it wasn't easy. "What happened? Do you need help?" Ino offered. "Y-yes please. Thank you, guys." Hinata replied and both Sakura and Ino helped her up. "Ow..." "Are you okay? What happened to your legs?" Ino asked again. "I fell from a tree earlier, when they were fighting, the ground, it started to tremble and knocked me down." "Can you walk?" I mean, does it hurt a lot?" "Y-yeah it hurts b-but I can walk on my own, thank you for the help." Hinata smiled weakly, letting them know she really was okay. "But could we please go to the hospital?" "No, not until you tell me what happened here!" Neji was getting impatient by the second. "Neji." TenTen spoke softly and ran to Neji, putting her hands on each side of his pale cheeks. She was talking so silently that Sakura, Ino and Hinata couldn't hear her speaking, "Neji, let Hinata go to the hospital, look, Kiba and Naruto, they need to go now, if not they could be more injured than they already are! We're already wasting so much time just being here and not doing anything." Neji sighed and kissed her full on the lips and pulled away. TenTen blushed and asked him one more time and of course, he said yes. He grabbed one of her hands and walked to Hinata, Sakura and Ino. "Okay guys, we're going to the hospital, someone get Naruto and another grab Kiba and let's go." Neji ordered, now 100% serious. After about close to hour of lying there previously, Naruto and Kiba were finally going to get the proper help and care that they desperately needed and deserved.

Akamaru was with one of the nurses, Hinata was crying once again, in the waiting room waiting for the doctors and nurses to them in, while Sakura, TenTen and Ino all tried to cheer her up and Neji was in the men's bathroom washing up. "Naruto and Kiba? T-they'll be okay?" Hinata asked, she knew they didn't know but she just wanted any type of comfort right now. But to be honest, they didn't know either but of course they didn't say that to Hinata, they all just continued to hug and comfort her until the actual nurses came with the news.

Finally, a nurse with blonde messy short hair and freckles came through the door, but it wasn't Naruto's nurse. Hinata jumped out her seat and made it inside Kiba's room, before the nurse could even say anything. "Hinata!" TenTen called out, but she ignored her. "Kiba?" Hinata lifted up the covers and sheets and found scars and stitches all over his body. Ino, Sakura and the nurse came in seconds later. "Excuse me, but don't just run in like that, especially with both your legs injured. I was going to let you know that your friend, 'Kiba Inuzuka'," she read off the paper "will be fine as long as he doesn't do anything extreme, he had one broke rib and a broken wrist and, as you can see, cuts and bruises all over, but he'll be fine!" The nurse read from her clipboard with several red "X" marks on the first visible page. "Oh, I'm really sorry for running inside, he's m-my friend so I-I just really wanted to see how h-he was doing, thank you though." Hinata bowed and smiled. "You're welcome!" She nodded and walked out, closing the door behind her. When Hinata was sure she left, she continued and tried to wake up Kiba. "K-Kiba? Kiba? Hello?" "Try shaking him a bit." Sakura said Hinata did just that but Kiba groaned and pulled the covers up on him again, not having a clue that 2 of his crushes, and Sakura were here. (TenTen was with Neji in the hallway.) "It's okay Hinata, I'll wake him up." Ino said, walked around the bed and knelt down in front of Kiba, pulling his covers off. "Kiba, oh Kiba." Ino teased. A couple of giggles came from Sakura and Hinata which made Kiba fully open his K-9 eyes. "Kiba, how are you feeling?" Didn't you hear us tryna wake you up silly?" Ino smiled and leaned against the nearest wall. "I'm sorry Ino, I thought you were that nurse again. She never lets me sleep! Thanks for visiting though, I see you have Sakura and um, Hinata." Kiba looked around the room, red as ever. Sakura giggled. "TenTen and Neji are here but they're in the hallway." She added. "And Akamaru?" "Oh, he's with one of nurses, getting cleaned up or something. But he's fine." Ino finished. Suddenly, Hinata started getting emotional all over again, seeing her good friend and teammate in the hospital because of something that had to do with her. "Kiba I'm so sorry for hitting you that day. I-I didn't mean to. But when I-I saw you hurt earlier, just lying there on the ground, it really pained me. I f-feel like this is a-all my fault and now you...y-ou..." Hinata couldn't even continue because she didn't want to cry again. She tried so hard to hold back her tears in front of her friends, bitting her lip in the process. "Hinata...it's okay, it's not your fault at all, don't think that, okay? It's mine. I shouldn't have kissed you, I should've respected the relationship you have with Naruto. Yes, I'll admit it, I love you and I'm crazy about you. I love how you dress, how shy you get, how quiet you are, everything, but if you don't feel the same way, it's completely okay Hinata. We're friends, nothing more and I don't want to lose you." Kiba was looking at Hinata in her eyes the whole time, and so was she. After a short while, he managed to get up midway and give her huge hug, one last time. "Awwwwww!" Ino squealed and ran around the bed to give Hinata a hug too, when Kiba was done. "Hinata and I are just friends Ino, didn't you just hear what I said?" He joked. "Yeah, yeah, I know, but you're so cute Kiba, that was so sweet of you!" "Oh wow Ino Yamanaka, of course you would say that out loud!" "Shut it, forehead!" Hinata giggled and Kiba was blushing madly again, smiling wide. "Hey Kiba we're gonna go wait for Naruto's nurse to come out alright? We'll come back if they let us though, most definitely." Sakura smiled and waved. "C'mon Ino and Hinata, let's go." "Oh, I'll stay here, ya' know, just to keep Kiba company." Ino said, running back to his side. "Oh, okay then. Have fun." Sakura and Hinata giggled while walking out the door, leaving the two "love birds" alone. Hinata and Sakura both sat down on the blue waiting room chairs, spotting Neji and TenTen holding hands, making their way over to sit down with them. "Hey guys." "Hey TenTen, where were you?" "Oh, um...you know." "Oooh! It's okay, I get it. Say no more." Sakura smiled a devilish grin. "Girl, I'm sayin' less. Is Kiba okay though?" TenTen asked. "Yeah, he's fine, we talked, right now Ino is with him." "Oh so no news wi-" Before she could even finish her sentence, a tall lady with long brown hair and red eyes came out Naruto's room holding a clipboard and a silver push pen. "Hi! Are you...Hinata Hyuuga?" She smiled. "Y-yes I am." "Okay, come right this way please, your friends can come too, if they want." "You're finally gonna see Naruto!" Sakura whispered. "Yes, I know, I'm happy on the inside, but f-for some reason, sorrowful on the inside." "Why?" "I don't k-know, everything that's happened these past few days." "You'll explain it all to us, right?" "Of course! E-everything..." "Okay guys, you can go in, I'll be back in a few to get Naruto's progress report. Ah, Naruto, cute young man. Ya' know, the whole time I was with him, , his doctor and I, he couldn't stop talking about you, Hinata! He told me you had long blue hair, purple eyes, light complexion and a leaf village kunoichi! So yeah! It had to be you! Anyways, I'll stop talking. He's in here" She said and walked away. Hinata was ruby red and was looking on the ground, smiling. "Oh Naruto..." she sighed and smiled to herself as Sakura opened the door...

(A/N: Hey guys~ hope you liked this one. Took forever to write it onto Microsoft Word lol. Anyways, so far, they took Kiba and Naruto to the Konoha emergency room and they all waited basically forever to get to see Kiba and finally, Naruto~! What's going to happen behind that door?
