A/N: During this chapter I wanted to give the readers more insight into Bradley and Vanessa's relationship.

3rd Person POV

Racing around grabbing whatever they can find. One hand grabs a clown mask. Footsteps shuffle around. More hands grab a chainsaw. Satisfied with what they picked out they exit the garage.

. . .

Alexis' POV

My head is spinning. I can't concentrate. The feeling of Justine's lips on mine is so amazing. Justine is leaning over me while I run my hands up and down her sides. She is so beautiful.

THUNK!

The door is thrown open and a clown with a chainsaw comes barging in. Justine and I look up in shock. Justine rolls off the bed while I grab the closest thing near me. Suddenly the clown starts laughing. I look around and notice my friends are filming the whole thing while I'm holding onto a pillow.

Realizing it's a joke I throw the pillow at Bradley as he takes off the mask. "What the hell mate!"

I go over and help Justine up while they continue to laugh. "Ha-Ha very funny guys." I say leading Justine downstairs.

"Oh my god did you see their faces?!" I hear Tasha ask as they followed us down.

. . .

Vanessa's POV

After the little prank on Alexis we all gather around for a drink.

"Let's have a toast to shrek!" Tasha exclaims. "Who is that?" Justine asks. "Darren Mullet the guy we planted today." Bradley replies carelessly resting against the pool table. "Hey have a little more respect!" I scold him. "Sorry babe." he apologizes pulling me closer.

"I can't drink to that!" Justine exclaims. "We aren't celebrating him being dead we are doing this to say goodbye" Alexis replies.

"Why did you call him shrek?" I can't help but wonder.

"Um let me think 'cause he's big and green and ugly" Tasha replies.

"What a cold little bitch." I mumble under my breath which only Bradley manages to hear due to his close proximity causing him to chuckle.

"But he wasn't all that green" Marcus states. "But fuck me was he ugly!" Bradley calls out. I glared up at him.

"What is wrong with you guys?! He was someone's child, someone's friend, and our classmate. He's gone and I can't imagine how hurt his loved ones are. Just because you didn't like him doesn't mean you should be rude." I exclaim scolding them. They fall silent and they all have a guilty look in their eyes.

"I never even knew who he was..." Justine admits breaking the silence. "Oh my god this is just fucking great," Tasha chuckles, "You spoke at his funeral and you had no idea. You know what you should do the toast."

. . .

The rest of the night is kind of a blur filled with alcohol, laughter, and pranks. It was well into the morning when everyone left; leaving just Bradley and I to clean up the mess.

"See this is why you shouldn't have thrown a party, now we are stuck with cleaning up the mess." I state shaking my head at him playfully.

"Oh come on Essie we had fun."

"Yes we did," I smirk at him "until you decided to talk shit about Darren. We could have been having a lot more fun if you didn't." I tease.

I bend over to pick up a discarded cup on the ground. I throw the cup into a trash bag when arms wrap around my waist and pull me up.

"Ahh! Bradley!" I shout. He throws me over his shoulder causing me to drop the trash bag. "I'll show you fun!" He exclaims while running upstairs to his room.

Oh boy…

. . .

3rd Person POV

Meanwhile.

Leaves crunch under stumbled footsteps.

"Mullet I bet you hanged yourself to get an erection." Jez slurs making no sense what so ever.

He wanders over to Darren Mullet's tombstone. "Here's to you Mullet! You fat fuck!" He exclaims while he fumbles with his pants. Once he has them pulled down a little bit he begins to urinate on Darren's grave.

He hears footsteps behind him "Who the fu-" He turns his head to look behind him at that person "OH SHIT!" is all he manages to get out before the unseen figure stabs him in the back with a cross taken from another grave.

He is thrown into the bushes forgotten. His body wasn't found until two days later on Sunday night.

. . .

Vanessa's POV

The rest of the weekend passed by like a blur and I spent it all at Bradley's house.

I open my eyes and find myself laying in Bradley room. I gently roll over in Bradley's arms to face him and see him sleeping peacefully. I can't help but admire him.

With all the recent talk of death, I can't help but appreciate that the people I love are okay. I don't know what I would do if I lost Alexis or Bradley. Those two are my support system. I love Bradley so much. He is relaxed and natural with me; he's not putting up a front or trying to impress anyone. I wish he acted more like himself when others are around. However, that's not how he is. People expect him to behave certain ways and he doesn't want to disappoint.

I kiss his forehead and slip out of bed, checking the time: 7:03 a.m. I'm so glad Bradley's house is not that far from the school. I go to his closet and pick out some clothes I left a couple days ago. I walk over to Bradley and kiss his head again. I gently shake his shoulder and whisper "Bradley it's time to wake up, we have to get ready for school."

"Mmmmmm." He groans burying his head into his pillow.

"Baby come on. If you're not up in 10 mins I'm coming back with water." I tell him.

I go to the bathroom and change into new clothes. Once I'm done I apply some mascara and lipstick. I don't bother doing much on school days because I'm lazy. I look at my unruly hair and try to tame it by brushing it out but it's just not happening today. I tie my hair up in a messy bun pulling out little strands of hair to make it a little more interesting. Satisfied with myself I check the time. 15 minutes have passed. I grab a cup of water and start heading towards Bradley's room.

"I swear if you are not up by the time I get to your room I'm pouring this on your head Bradley!" I announce. I open his door and sure enough he's still sleeping. I walk over to his bed and start to lightly pour the water onto his head.

"UGH!" He jolts up. "What the hell Vanessa! You could have let me sleep a little longer."

"I let you sleep in. Now come on you take forever to get ready. I'll make us some coffee and lunch for school while you're getting ready." I say.

. . .

"I was thinking that maybe this weekend we could get away and go to my parents cabin. What do you think?" Bradley asks as he drives us to school.

"That would be wonderful. I've been so stressed lately with school and we haven't had a lot of alone time just you and me." I reply.

"Yeah I know," he reaches over and grabs my hand "we are always busy or with our friends and I really miss our one-on-one time."

I squeeze his hand. "I miss you too. Let's just get through the rest of the week and then we can spend time together."

We pull up to the school and Bradley parks in our usual spot. "I can't wait for this week to be over." Bradley announces and leans over to kiss my forehead.
