The dark slayer.
That was what they always referred to her as. Especially more than a few years back, before Twilight. But now? The dark slayer had shown more loyalty than Xander to do what was right for the world. Faith had gone along with Angel's plans for resurrecting Giles and fought by their own team's side.
Now she comes back to help to fight against the Government's plans to drain every demon, Wiccan and anyone else possession an inch of magic. She had matured more than any of them, putting everyone else's needs before her own. She could have been free from all of this, but no, she decides to continuing fighting.
Willow couldn't help but notice Faith's loyalty. There was no ill intention behind her actions. And having her ass saved by her when Jordan and the others were beating the crap out of Buffy, Faith had jumped in to create a diversion so she could restore her own powers.
Willow started to develop a new found respect for the dark slayer. Faith had 'turned evil' a few years back but tried to atone for her wrongs. Now she couldn't judge the brunette having gone all Dark Willow herself. The fear that came with the possibility of going down that road again haunted her every night. Willow wondered if Faith ever felt the same.
Perhaps she could learn a thing or two from Faith.
