Chapter 7 Healing soul
After many hours playing with toys, watching his yamis health and caring for it finally Yami started become better in spirit but his body was very ill. Yugi took care of both as much as he could and a week in bed Yami woke up and was awake at least four hours were he went to the bathroom, ate, took medicine and played some game with Yugi. Sometimes the other came over and help Yugi so Yugi could get some rest.
''How're yo feelin today Yams?'' Joey asked helping the ancient spirit down the stairs.
''Better then yesterday…and stop calling me Yams! It's Yami or Atem!'' He hoarsely screamed.
''Sorry Yami….'' He said and sat Yami down. He went fast to the kitchen to get Yami his pills and food.
''How's Yugi…Joey?'' He asked. The smell of food almost overwhelmed him.
''He tired but he gets through it…We have talked about this, you shouldn't worry ok?'' Joey said and put the food on the living room table. Joey saw Yami take it almost the second he put it down. Yami had some chicken buff with hot chocolate and in the hot chocolate his pills were. He drank and ate everything and he lay back down in the sofa. Joey went up to check Yugi out so he wasn't having nightmares or were pacing but he was sleeping soundly in a normal dream. Yami saw him come back down from Yugis room while he was reading a book in Egyptian.
/ Yami pov /
I was trying to concentrate on my book in my own language but I was worrying about Yugi too much. 'You had to stop worrying so much' I thought I heard deep in my heart but I just can't. I stopped where I was in my book and put my book down and saw Joey glance at me with a worried look.
''You okay man?'' He asked while holding a hand on my forehead. He gasped at my probably hot forehead.
''Yeah…I think so…'' I said and just closed my eyes at the spinning room. I tried to open them but even Joey became 4 Joeys.
''I think you should sleep a bit man. You look like somebody made you spin a ball around as many times you could.'' He said when I felt something cold on my forehead. I think I heard something come from the stairs but I faded away right after.
/ Yugi pov /
I woke up from a dream that couldn't be explained with word but love was in it. I stood up and walked slowly down the stairs seeing Joey trying to lower Yamis temperature. I saw a sad glance from Joey and I understood that Yami was sick once again. I went to the bathroom getting a bucket and water. When I came back down he saw he was in the kitchen to get something to eat for probably both of us. I sat down to change Yamis cloth with a colder one. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I looked up seeing Joeys hand with a sandwich in his hand.
''Here you go Yug!'' He said smiling at me knowing a need some happiness right now.
''Thanks Joey!'' I faked smiled trying to hold my tears.
We started eating and watch some TV but as well glanced once in a while at the sick boy who I loved and cared for. We also dueled a bit so are worries could at least go away for a while. Soon the sun set Joey took his dueling deck and eating habits back to his apartment.
/ Yami pov /
It was dark and hot in this place where every this is. No sun, no wind, water no nothing. I felt like somebody was standing right over me and then went away and a new person came and there this person stayed. I felt some off my tears fall when I heard it and something came down to me. 'An orb…' It was a orb of light but not any light my light or Yugis light. His voice came from it. 'Come back to me Yami…Come back…' He was calling me I needed to get out of here and fast. As my will came back more light orb came flying down and they became light a rope up and I took it and climbed as fast as I could and my strength could take me. Suddenly my eyes were blinded by some strong light. I woke up.
My eyes open heavily. It was hard to keep them up but I did for Yugis sake. I saw worried amethyst eyes starring in to my soul. It was as my soul healed from his love to me.
''Hey love…How're you feeling?'' He asked softly not to make me suffer more than I am. I felt my voice was too weak to work so I touched his hand and I saw his face lit up.
''You're better at least…'' He smiled but I saw it was a fake one.
/I know….when you….lie Aibou…./ I said weakly through our link. It was really hard to do it.
''Don't use it yet only went you must ok?'' He said worriedly. I toke his hand and squeezed it weakly as a yes to his question.
''You should rest Yami you need it…'' He said switching the cloth on my forehead. I nodded and felt the darkness of sleep take me once again.

Yugi sat down in the chair next to the couch and took a blanket with him and too fell asleep.
