A/N: So remember how I said I was planning this.. well I did. Part of it, a good part. But. I haven't touched it in three months. So I'm looking it over and I'm just wondering how I can confuse myself that much about my own story. So this chapter is gonna winged a bit. I'm trying to get it back on track to the part of my plan I can understand. So after this we should be good. I've been writing a lot more lately. Seriously go check out some of my other stories. Please don't judge my to hard about the older ones.. but yes. I do enjoy writing depressing thing. So if that's what you like to read, definitly go check them out. If you like 13 Reasons Why, I've got a Malec version of that. I've got a series dedicated specifically to depressing one shots, and a series dedicated to requested song fics. I've got some Twilight stuff and a Supernatural story that I may never update again, but have a chapter in the make. Maybe if I get some kind of positive feed back. I don't know. Anyways... here we go

I drag Simon down the street, fuming. "Clary?" Simon asks warily. I ignore him, not wanting to blow up and take it out on him. "At least tell me where we're going," Simon finally pulls me to a stop, obviously nervous and trying to hide it.

I clench and unclench my fist at my sides a few times before meeting his brown eyes. "I-" I slouch against the wall of the closest building as I had my crutches. I feel as Simon gently rubs my back. "I don't know," I mumble, shrugging. My phone buzzes and I flinch. Already? I look down though I have a pretty good idea who it was.

"Mom," I tell Simon knowing he would want to know. Simon nods. I flip my phone shut. "Let's go to the park. "But wait-" I grab his hand, walking toward the park. "Clary shouldnt you-" "No," I interrupt him. "I don't want to. I'm still mad and if I did call her, we'd just end up in another argument." After a moment, Simon stop resisting as I pull him along. Not that he couldn't have stopped me if he really wanted to obviously as he just did so.

About ten minutes later we arrived in Central Park, the sky an endless blue and the sun way to bright. Trees are scattered and children run and play in the green grass. And all of it is the opposite of my mood. I lay down in a more secluded spot that is in the shade of a large oak tree. Simon sits beside me, playing with my hair.

I really didn't expect what happened next. "Clarrissa?" The person I least wanted to see right now says from a few feet away from me. Simon turned to him as I did. Except in his eyes you probably saw confusion and in mine: fear. I think I see a flicker of something bright and slender behind Luke, but I can't be sure it's gone so quickly. While my attention had been momentarily diverted, it bounces back as soon as Luke speaks again my eyes are back on his. His eyes are narrow. "What were you looking at?" He asks, surprisingly.

My eyebrows furrow a little. "What do you-" "Get up," Luke yanks her up. Simon lets out a strangled protest but is ignored. "What did you see?" He repeats, slightly losing his temper which was weird for Luke in a public place. "I don't know what you're talking about.." Luke starts mumbling to himself. I think I make out the words 'stupid woman' and 'one job.' Before Luke can do anything else, Simon jumps up. "Let her go!" He says sharply, cell phone in hand. "You've got ten seconds before-" "Meliorn," Luke nods to Simon. Meliorn? Who is- Simon's eyes roll into the back of his head and he falls to the ground.

I go to scream, but Luke's hand now covers my mouth. Is no one seeing this? Of course 's New York. I see a flash of black hair, a white hand, pointed ears.. And then it's gone. Until Simon is being drug away by an invisible force and I'm trying with everything I have to figure out what was happening. Only then did I see the thing pulling at my best friend. A.. person? A man with pale skin and black hair. Pointed ears stuck out through the dark locks. Right before they disappear into the trees, I meet the eyes of the man. He was beautiful. And his green eyes held no remorse for his actions or any emotions once so ever.

Luke suddenly held my arm, a silver wand looking thing in his hand. I struggle but he's way stronger than me. I wince at the unsuspected pain I feel as he runs the wand in a pattern on my arm. Then, surprisingly, he realeases all but my hand.

"What did you do to me?! Where's Simon?" I examine the mark on my arm that kind of resembled a tattoo. "Alive. For now." Luke pulls me as I have been pulling Simon around all day in the opposite direction of our apartment. "That could change. If you don't act completely normal and go along with everything this man I'm taking you to says, it -will- change. Got it?" I nod, heart pounding a mile a minute.

"What man? Wh-" "Quiet," Luke shakes his head. "It doesn't matter what I tell you, you'll forget soon enough." I have no idea what that could mean, but it couldn't be good. 'Go along with everything this man I'm taking to you says' Luke's never let other men do things to me, but I wouldn't put it above him. We walk for a little ways more before coming to a stop in front of an apartment building. Luke presses the button.

"What?" A sour voice comes through the intercom. Luke doesn't look pleased. "Welcoming as always. It's Lucian Greymark. I've got Clarissa." Greymark? I voice groans. "Does it have to be today? Im kind of hungov-" "I don't care how much you partied last night. Clarissa is seeing things. It must happen today." There's a moment of silence and I almost wonder if he isn't going to let us up. Then the door opens. I'm starting to doubt this man will do anything of Luke's sort. But then what -will- he do? Seeing things.. I was. Am I secretly schizophrenic?

Luke makes me go first and I unwillingly climb the stairs. When we get to the top, the door before us was green and had a sparkily purple door mat. My confusion grew more and more. Especially when said door opened and the 'Man; as Luke had been refurring to him as came out.

The Man looks less then pleased to see us. "Luke. Clary," he nods to her. How did he know my name? His hair was messy and glittery, the ends dyed all different colors of the rainbow. He had tan skin and smelled strongly of alcohol. And his eyes. I'm not quite sure, but something seemed.. off. One second there were just a strange color of green, next his pupil were slitted. Like a cat or something. He opens the door, letting them in. Luke nudges me in the door and I'm surprised he didn't just shove me. I wonder if The Man wouldn't approve.

"Magnus, what's go-" I look over as a half asleep boy sits up on a couch, black hair just as messy as The Man's- well I guess Magnus'. His blue eyes widen into saucers when he sees me. Almost as big as mine. "Y-you.. you. Your'e that boy! One of them-" Magnus is looking between them curiously. "Do you know Clary Alexander?" Alexander scowls, all sleepiness gone. "So your names Clary?" Luke was glaring daggers at Alexander, obviously not happy at this advancment. Or, it seemed, Alexander's presence on this world at all.

"Yes," I say, not knowing what else to say. "Wait.." I look between the three of them after a moment. "Is- are you going to kill me?" Was Alexander 'The Man' and Magnus just an innocenct bistander. Did I see something I wasn't supposed to? Now Luke's getting Alexander to take me out like that blue haired boy.

"I-" Alexander looks to be in shock. "No. But you! You're a mundane! Why are you he-" "Actually," Magnus begins. He stops abruptly and I look back to see Luke giving him a look. A look that said be quiet. "Alexander dear, could you go back to my bedroom for a moment? This won't take long."

Once Alexander stops staring at me, he nods stiffly and walks back to a bedroom and disappears. "Now," Magnus claps his hands together, completely disregarding everything that just happened. "Let's begin. Clary, just sit where ever you want." "How do you know my name?" Magnus sighs. "Lucian.. why do we have to-" "Bane, what have Jocelyn and I said about argueing. It's not your decision to make." Magnus narrows his eyes. "You know. I don't -have- to do this. I'm not a Shadowhunter's slave. And yes," he holds up a finger as Luke goes to speak. "I know you are no longer a Shadowhunter. But once a Shadowhunter, always one as far as I'm concerned."

Honestly, even if this man were to kill me I'd probably still like him. I have never seen anyone, even my mother, put Luke in his place before and it is.. refreshing.

"But," Magnus rolls his eyes. His green cat eyes. "For Jocelyn, and only for Jocelyn, I will do what you have come for." I open my mouth, so confused. What did my Mom have to do with this? I don't get a chance to ask any questions though because as soon as Magnus sits in front of me, the whole world goes black.
