Team RWBY was continuing their investigation into th criminal affairs of Roman Torchwick and the White Fang. They managed to locate a warehouse that the former peace organization was using and snuck in, hiding behind a bunch of crates and preparing to attack and subdue the criminals. However, just before they could launch their attack, a group of strange creatures jumped down from the rafters and attacked the terrorists, managing to subdue them quickly and efficiently. "Whoa, what's going on right now?!" Yang asked in a state of disbelief in the middle of the fight.
"What ARE those things?!" Weiss asked in a mixture of shock, curiosity and disgust.
"Maybe they're some type of faunus?" Blake asked helpfully.
"I don't know, but let's find out." Ruby said, advancing towards them after the fight.
The four mutated brothers gathered together once they finished defeating their enemies. "Good job, turtles. Now we need to find out if they are working for Shredder or not. And either way, we should find a way to get this stuff back to its owners." Leonardo said.
"Hey!" A voice rang out. Suddenly, 4 girls ran up to them and stopped a few feet away, weapons in hand.
"Damn! We've been caught!" Raph said.
"Who or what are you and what are you doing here?!" Ruby demanded.
"Who are you?!" Leo asked.
"I'm Ruby Rose, student of Beacon Academy and huntress-in-training, which gives me some authority around here. So, now tell me: who are you and what are you doing here?" The human team leader responded.
Leo sighed, but then nodded. "I'm Leonardo. And these are my brothers Raphael, Michaelangelo and Donatello." Leo said, each turtle acknowledging themselves when their name was called.
"You mean like the ancient Renaissance artists?" Weiss asked harshly, as if they didn't deserve the names of great artists.
"Something like that, yeah." Raph answered with a hint of annoyance in his voice at the rich girl's attitude.
"So, what exactly are you guys? Some type of faunus or something?" Yang asked.
"We're turtles. We used to be just like any regular turtles in a sewer at one point, but then we got covered in some weird slime and became what we are now. It's a long story." Donatello explained.
"Yeah, I get a headache each time I hear it and I know what happened." Mikey said, earning a laugh from the two sisters and a soft chuckle from Blake, but Weiss was still rather distrusting.
"And just what exactly are you doing HERE instead of in the sewers? And why do you need those weapons?" She asked coldly.
"We've been trained as ninjas since our childhood by our father and mentor, Master Splinter. And we have an enemy known as the Shredder. He's bad news. We thought these guys were working with him and so we came to investigate and see what we could find." Leo answered.
"Uh-huh. Right. Well, thank you for that, then, you can go back to the sewers now and leave the rest to us. And if we find anything about this Shredder, we'll be sure to let you know. Goodbye now, see you later, shoo-shoo." The arrogant heiress said, trying to wave away the turtles (this is the only scenario I could think of for a fight, but considering Weiss' personality and how the turtles will react, it's a scenario that works. Racist bitch!)
"We're not going anywhere, Princess." Raph said.
"We have our own investigation we're working on, here. Please leave. We promise we'll let you know if we find anything related to this Shredder character." Blake said sincerely.
"I'm sorry, but we just can't do that. This holds more importance for us that you could ever know." Leo said.
"Well, it seems we're at a stand-off." Ruby said.
"Then it's time to knock you girls down!" Raph said, rushing in at Weiss, but Yang moved in the way, blocked his attacks and slammed her fist into his stomach, blasting him back with a blast from her shotgun gauntlets, then rushed after him.
Background music: "Bad Company" by Five Finger Death Punch (it's the best I could think of, give me a break)
Weiss rushed in next, gliding across the ground and performing a lunge attack towards Donatello, who managed to side-step the attack and swung his staff at the heiress, who did a series of back-flips to dodge, Donnie rushing in after her. Mikey and Ruby both rushed in at this point, ignoring each other and going for the further back opponent, Blake and Leo preparing themselves as the youngest member of the opposite team came at them. Ruby swiped at Leo, who just barely managed to block with both swords, pushing it back slightly and swinging one sword at the dark-haired girl's waist, but she managed to jump back and avoid it. She slammed Crescent Rose into the ground and took aim at Leo, but he managed to dodge just before she pulled the trigger. He rushed in at her, but compared to her, he was far too slow and she easily removed the scythe from the ground and swung it around with incredible speeds Leo could hardly keep track of, doing his best to block her attacks, which was all he could do.
Raph and Yang were fighting rather fiercely, Raph stabbing at Yang with his sais and Yang blocking or dodging them with time to spare, throwing in a small punch or kick every so often. "Wow, for a ninja, you're not a very good one." She taunted.
"I'll show you very good!" Raph said, becoming more aggressive and throwing kicks and putting more force behind his strikes, but he still couldn't manage to hit her and with the added force behind his strikes put more into his recovery time. Eventually, he threw a round kick at her head, but she blocked it easily with one arm and smashed him in the face, blasting him with an explosive round and sending him flying back into the back wall of the warehouse, knocking him out.
"Meh. I've still seen better." She joked.
Weiss and Donnie appeared to be evenly matched at first. The were able to match each other's moves fairly well, as Weiss was faster, but her rapier was less fluent compared to Donnie's bo staff, as he could fairly easily block a strike from her and attempt to strike back, but she dodged his attacks with ease. Seeing as they were evenly matched, Weiss decided to tip the odds in her, creating a glyph at her feet that send her forwards at speeds that made her look like a blur, slashing at Donnie as she passed, then surrounding him with glyphs, racing in again and utilizing them all to hit him from almost every angle at unbelievable speeds, bringing him down with relative ease.
Mikey was taking more of an offensive position as Blake was fairly reserved and defensive. She was either blocking or dodging his attacks as he continuously swung his nunchaku. Eventually, it finally looked like Blake was about to attack, but Mikey used this to his advantage and took her small moment of preparation to strike at her head. However, once the nunchaku collided with her, she disappeared, Mikey's target having been an afterimage decoy (I don't exactly know what it is). "Whoa, dude, where did she go?" Mikey asked, looking around. Meanwhile, the real Blake was behind a couple of crates behind the confused turtle, taking advantage of this and rushing in, unleashing a rapid flurry of strikes on her off-guard opponent, knocking him out.
Back to the team leaders, Leo was still barely blocking Ruby's strikes with little to no time to attempt to attack. Then, Ruby jumped back a good distance away from him, before rushing in at speeds he could barely even see, let alone react to. She past by him the first time, swinging her scythe and leaving a small cut across the surface of his shell, before coming back and bringing the back of her scythe down on him hard, knocking him down and out.
End music
"Well, glad that's taken care of." Weiss said.
"What should we do with them?" Blake asked.
"Meh. We can just leave them here. They should wake up before the White Fang do. But just in case." Ruby said, quickly rounding up the members of the crime organization in the middle of the room and tying them up with a long rope she found out of nowhere. "Okay, then. Let's get looking for any info we could use." She said.
"Wow... with these turtles around, Ruby would never have to break out of her shell." Yang joked again.
Anaylsis:
1: To be honest, this was a REALLY mismatched fight. While the turtles are actually as fast as regular humans, if not a little faster, team RWBY is INCREDIBLY fast, all of them moving at least as fast as a blur at one point, if not faster than the eye could trace, putting them FAR above the turtles in terms of speed. As stated, they'd have a hard time defending themselves, let alone retaliating.
2: Raph's temper and aggression were ultimately his downfall, as attacking with blind rage and no form of thought makes you far more predictable and somewhat slower, as you A: subtract speed for additional power and B: adding in that extra strength also increases your recovery time, like the difference between throwing a jab and a haymaker, that extra time giving your opponents all that time to attack. Plus, Yang is rather good at angering people and causing them to slip up. And the fact that she's got superhuman strength and shotgun gauntlets with explosive rounds doesn't help.
3: Weiss and Donatello were the most evenly matched, as both are easily the least skilled in combat amongst there team, this being evident for Weiss when she has to stop and correct her fighting stance in the middle of a fight and Donnie as he spends most of his time tinkering with technology. Donnie had the advantage of a more rounded weapon, but Weiss' speed and glyphs soon made that insignificant.
4: Blake and Mikey's fight could've gone many ways, but I think the way it did here was the best outcome. Blake can easily slip away from combat by using her semblance to leave a shadow of herself there. Mikey isn't too smart, so this would easily trip him up and allow Blake to catch him off-guard, allowing for a pretty easy win.
5: Ruby is extremely fast BEFORE using her semblance, as seen when she can wheel her weapon around at incredible speeds for its eyes and attack enemies literally seconds away from dealing her damage. When she DOES use her semblance, she moves faster than the eye can trace and fast enough to create a small torando and/or vacuum, putting her on hypersonic speeds, which Leo could not possibly react to. He had the advantage of two smaller weapons over one very large one, but Ruby's speed and skill easily took that away.
6: This can be said for both teams, but the turtles are always shown to be their strongest when working together, whereas each member of team RWBY is very formidable on their own, each having been shown to be able to take on incredible odds either completely or mostly by themselves, as seen in the trailers for the show, but the turtles have all been shown to do rather mild things on their own in comparison.
I don't have good quotes for the next fight, but it's gonna be Batman vs. Predator.
