Batman was out patrolling the streets when he heard a scream. He rushed to the scene as quickly as he could, but was shocked at what he found. A woman had been ripped to shreds and was being fed off by a giant creature that was clearly not from this planet. It had a long, sharp tail, a body similar to a carnivorous dinosaur and a massive elongated head with no visible eyes (in case you haven't caught it yet or my description sucks, it's a Xenomorph). He knew he had to stop the creature, but before he could do anything, it was hit in the back by what looked like a blast of light, putting a hole through its chest and killing it instantly. Suddenly, another creature that could pass for a human so far walked up. It's body looked human, but it had a strange mask on, covering a rather large head/face. But what disturbed Batman most about this creature was the weapons it carried. Off hand, he could see blades on each arm and a shoulder-mounted cannon that was still smoking, indicating it was the one that killed the other alien. It then walked up to the two dead bodies and poured a small amount of a strange blue liquid on them, melting them in a matter of seconds. "I don't know what that thing is, but I can't just let it run around as it pleases." He said, jumping off the roof he was on, gliding towards the predator as it looked around, turning just in time to see Batman as he brought his feet up, kicking it in the face, causing it to stagger back as he dropped into a crouched position, looking up at it and getting up into a fighting stance.

Background music: "Alien vs. Predator Rap" by TeamHeadKick (YouTube. I know, I'll have better fitting music for the next fight)

The Predator roared in anger, taking aim with its plasma cannon at Batman, but he rolled forward to dodge it, popping up right in front of it and throwing a small combo, but doing very little damage if any, the Predator recovering fairly easily and swinging the claws on its left hand at the dark knight. He managed to block it, but the hit came with incredible force he barely stood up against, then the Predator hit him with its other fist straight in his chest, sending him back about 5 feet, He rolled back and got into a crouching position and threw a series of batarangs at the creature's head, but this, much like his previous attacks, barely phased him and he aimed his plasma gun at Batman again, who dove around the corner of the building. The predator followed slowly, not feeling the particular need to rush, rounding the corner, but not finding anything. It took a few steps forward, looking around for the caped crusader, but not finding him. In truth, Batman wasn't too far away, simply hiding behind a couple of trash cans and bags near a dumpster, waiting for the Predator to fall into his trap. The alien hunter was scanning the area with infrared vision, that being the reason it couldn't see Batman, but it did notice the strange substance on the ground in the shape of a bat. It took a few steps forward and crouched to investigate, at which point Batman detonated the explosive gel, blasting the predator back. He then rushed in as it got onto one knee and delivered a strong elbow to its head, sending its head in to the right from the impact where he then kneed it in the chin, staggering it again, but then it disappeared.

"What happened? Where did he go?" Batman asked, looking around cautiously. Suddenly, he saw the energy blast from its shoulder cannon flying at him from a rooftop, just barely managing to roll out of the way. He then activated his detective vision, allowing him to see the creature's skeleton on the rooftop across from him. He fired a grappling hook at it, but it managed to catch it and began to pull him in. Batman let himself be pulled in by the creature, readying his electric gun for a surprise when he got up there (you know, the thing from Arkham City?). The Predator pulled Batman onto the roof with it, readying its claw to impale him, but was surprised when it saw a decent-sized gun in his hand. He shot it and electrocuted it, causing it to stagger back and its cloaking device to fail. The predator looked at Batman, recognizing him as a worthy opponent, taking it's mask off, revealing its scary-ass, ugly-ass face.

"You're one ugly motherfucker." Batman said, taking his fighting stance again. He rushed in once again and started hitting the Predator in the face, but still doing little to no damage. The Predator then kicked Batman in the chest and sent him off the roof. He tried to grapple the alien, but this time it simply dodged and he landed on the ground hard on his back. The Predator then pulled out its spear and threw it into the Dark Knight's chest.

End music

It then approached the dead hero of Gotham and ripped his head off along with his cowl and spinal cord, polishing the latter off with its hand and bringing it back it its ship, putting it on a mantle.

Analysis:

1: This fight was good, but still relatively mismatched. The Predator is clearly superhuman, as it can jump large gaps between buildings and send heavyweights like Arnold Schwarzenegger flying with one punch, while taking punches from people like him barely phase it. Batman's best bet was his gadgets, which are not designed to be deadly, which he'd need to even have a chance against Predator, as seen when bullets barely shake it up when its getting shot mostly in the head, albeit it when it has its mask on. Bottom line, Batman's arsenal would only be minimally effective against the Predator.

2: The Predator's infrared scanners could be fooled, as Batman's suit can somehow hide his temperature from thermal goggles as long as he holds still, so it could likely do the same to the Predator. Also, the explosive gel would likely catch the hunting alien off-guard, as it takes the time to analyze things in its surroundings to attempt to find its opponents, which would give Batman his greatest opening.

3: The Predator's cloaking device has been damaged by much more crude traps in the past, so Batman's high-tech gadgets would likely be able to do the trick. At this point, the Predator would likely see him as a worthy challenge and fight hand-to-hand, but again, Batman would be outmatched, as along with superior strength, it is also a master combatant, as seen in the movies where it can take on a number of Xenomorphs without weapons and with the fact it has been a downloadable character in MKX, where it is seen to have incredible fighting skills.

4: The Predator also has quite high durability, as it has been seen in one movie to take a grenade explosion with relatively little damage and in the first film, the only thing that put it down was getting crushed by a tree, so once again, Batman's non-lethal and relatively low-threat weapons wouldn't do much at all. In the end, the Predator has just about every advantage. But to be fair, Batman DID put up a good fight.
