A year after another tournament in which people from the two franchises have met before, a small handful of Street Fighters: Ryu, Ken and Sakura joined the World Martial Arts Tournament, in hopes of meeting new, stronger opponents and for Ryu and Ken, to have another shot at Goku and Vegeta, the two having beaten them in a good fight during the last one. That doesn't matter, though, because we're focusing on Sakura, who was up first against Videl. Sakura was eager to go up against another girl close to her age, but Videl din't look too pleased. Sakura did a couple stretches and slapped the sides of her face, preparing for the fight. "Pleased to meet you." She said with a bow, taking her fighting stance.

Videl looked at her with a slight glare. "I know who you are. You beat up my dad when you went up against him in the last tournament! This is for him!" She said taking her own stance.

Sakura thought for a second, before realizing who she meant. "Oh, you mean the loud guy with the afro? He talked a whole lot, but couldn't really back it up. I hope you can!" She said with a chuckle.

"That's it!" Videl snapped, rushing in.

Videl flew across the ground, immediately hammering Sakura with an insane string of punches and kicks, easily knocking her back. Sakura quickly jumped back to her feet, however and fired a large blue ball of energy at Videl. "Hadoken!" She announced. Videl fired her own ki blast and the two canceled each other out, but Sakura was close behind the ki blast, executing a tornado kick. Videl managed to catch Sakura's leg and threw her over herself, sending her to the ground behind her. Sakura got up again and with a small growl, she fired a much larger and more powerful fireball than before. Videl sensed she wouldn't be able to stop this one and instead jumped into the air, hovering above the ground just high enough for Piccolo to stand underneath her. "Whoa, you can fly?!" Sakura asked, amazed.

"And more than just that!" Videl answered, firing down a small barrage of ki blasts at Sakura, who managed to jump back and avoid them. Videl then rushed in and threw more attacks, but Sakura was more prepared this time and managed to defend herself against them. She then managed to jump bacj, before jumping forward again, going above Videl and slamming her hands down on her head, sending her to the ground. However, Videl was up again almost instantly. "That was a pretty interesting attack, but I'm not finished yet!" She said, rushing in again. Sakura did another one of the tornado kicks she did before, but Videl managed to slide underneath this one, popping up behind Sakura and delivering a hard kick to her back, sending her to the ground. Sakura got to one knee and threw a rear kick at Videl, who managed to jump it and throw a round kick to the side of Sakura's head, sending her to the ground again and her head to bounce off the ground, knocking her out. "Yes! That was for you, dad!" Videl said triumphantly. She held in for a few round, managing to beat Yang and Dan, before she finally was brought down after a decent struggle against Sagat, although she mentally cringed a bit at this, as it reminded her of a less serious loss to Spopovich.

Analysis:

1: Sorry this was so short, but I think I covered pretty much everything. Anyway, for starters, Sakura may enjoy fighting, but she CERTAINLY doesn't take it seriously, giving the more disciplined and completely serious Videl an early advantage. It'd basically be the same as fighting someone who you are on par with, but they don't even try.

2: Videl can fly, which gives her a clear advantage in mobility and among the many fighters in Street Fighter, Sakura is in the lower middle area in terms of speed.

3: Videl is clearly more skilled, as she was raised by a martial arts champion and has shown herself to be quite capable against Spopovich, the only reason she lost is because he was possessed and powered up by Babidi, whereas Sakura has no ACTUAL training and her fighting style is a self-taught copy of Ryu's style, which is slightly flawed: you might be able to copy someone's style, but without any real actual KNOWLEDGE of the style, you're not getting too far. I copy the Mishima's fighting style, but I'd still get my ass kicked if the Tekken tournament was real. You're basically only going in with half an idea what you're doing. Also Sakura has little to no fighting experience, while again, Videl was raised and trained by a capable martial artist and has been shown to be able to BRIEFLY hold her own against low superhuman beings.

4: Videl is likely stronger, as she managed to break the powered up Spopovich's neck, turning it a complete 180 degrees. Her adrenaline was rushing, but still, the force required to do this would easily send a normal human into shock and probably crack and/or break a few bones, so it would be adequate force to knock someone out. On the other side of the argument, Sakura has NO note-worthy superhuman strength or feats to speak of. The closest thing we have is she once stopped a large explosion from killing Dan and Blanka WITH RYU'S HELP. There's NO argument to say he didn't do most if not all the work. So we basically just pit a minor superhuman character against an average human-level character. At the end of the day, when you hit THAT note, all arguments are pretty much over.

"Welcome to the end of your life. And I promise, it will be painful."
