Bayonetta sat at Rodin's bar, watching with little to no interest as he made her drink. "So, what did you drag me down here for today? I was rather looking forward to a nice day off, shopping and leeching all the money I could out of Enzo." She said.

"A couple of my 'associates' are having trouble in a city called Metropolis. Any time they step foot out of hell, some punk in tights throws 'em right back in." The fallen angel said as he handed her the usual drink she ordered: a pink martini in a very small glass.

"And I'm assuming I have to deal with it as usual?" She asked, finishing the drink in one gulp.

"Unless you want a new apartment made out of Brimstone." He confirmed.

She sighed, spinning on her bar stool and starting to walk out. "I should really consider asking for a raise." She said sarcastically.

Rodin simply smirked. "As far as the devils are concerned, not dragging you down with them is payment enough." He said.

In Metropolis...

Superman finished up with another demon about the size of a small building, throwing it back through the portal it came from. "There's no end to these monsters. Seems like every day, a new one comes out to try and cause trouble. Good thing they aren't too difficult to deal with." He said.

"YOU'RE the one who's been thrashing the devils?" A voice asked behind him. He turned to see a tall woman in a tight leather suit not much shorter than him walking up to him. "You don't even seem capable of dressing yourself properly. Most people wear their undergarments on the INSIDE." She taunted as she walked up.

"I take it you have something to do with these monsters?" He asked.

"They call me in to do their dirty work or they send me a one-way ticket to join them. And unfortunately, YOU are today's dirty work. Nothing personal, but hell's far too hot for me. Much to dry for my skin." She said.

"Then you're going to be disappointed." He said, getting ready to fight her.

Background music: "You're Going Down" By Sick Puppies

Superman rushed in and threw a powerful haymaker, but Bayonetta gracefully backflipped and fired at him with Scarborough Fair, but the bullets simply bounced off the Man of Steel. He threw another punch, but she dodged this just as easily as before and drew her soul-stealing katana, Shuraba. As she rushed in and swung at him, he attempted to catch the blade, but painfully found out that the weapon was magic as it cut deep into his hand and forced him to pull it away, allowing the witch to slash him across the stomach as well. He let out a cry of pain at this and flew into the air out of her reach, firing his heat vision at her, but she again dodged. "She has magic weapons. I'll have to move in faster and hit harder. I can't give her enough time to strike back." He thought to himself.

"I believe it's time for you to come down now." She said, lashing it him with her snake-like whip, Kulshedra. She wrapped it around his arm in an attempt to pull him down. He hissed in pain as the demonic magic took its toll on him, but he simply grabbed it and with one powerful tug, he effortlessly pulled it out of Bayonetta's hands and threw it off into the distance. "I hope you'll be able to pay for that. It certainly wasn't cheap." She said with slight annoyance.

"You won't be needing it or any of those weapons where I'm taking you." He said, rushing in at her, readying another haymaker.

"You won't be taking me anywhere." She said activating Witch Time. Superman's high-speed charge was reduced to a complete crawl as he flew forward, his fist just barely starting to go forward towards her. "Like a fly trapped in a spider's web." She said, slashing him upwards into the air with Shuraba and then blasting him with her bazooka tonfas, Lt. Kilgore, blasting him back and causing him to roll a few feet back across the ground. He got to one knee and prepared to rush in again, but she was already in front of him, one of the bazookas in his face. "Tell me, are you ready to give up, or do I have to punish you some more?" She asked.

Superman growled at this as he suddenly got an idea. "I'll never give up!" He said, slamming a fist into the ground, sending a powerful shockwave through it, taking Bayonetta off-balance. He got up and threw his fist at her again. She activated Witch Time again, but there was only a small pause this time before his movement speed went back to normal and he punched her in the face, knocking her onto her back and sending her skidding a few feet down the road.

She struggled to push her upper body off the ground a little bit when the Kryptonian stood before her in an instant. "How?" She asked with a slight grunt of pain.

"I can lapse out of time displacement. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. And you're coming with me." He said.

He reached down for her, but she raised one leg straight up in the air, causing him to back up a bit before she pointed that leg at him, allowing him to see the gun on the back of her heel. "I think not." She said, blasting him with Onyx Rose in the face and chest, the ammo of doomed fairy souls dealing considerable damage to the Man of Steel, causing him to jump back, holding the places of impact and Bayonetta rose up and with a small dance and a chant in a strange language Superman never heard before, her clothes disappearing as her hair grew in length, a couple strands spinning around her to cover her private areas as the rest disappeared int a giant portal above her. Suddenly, 6 giant arms appeared from nowhere and rapidly assaulted the weakened Superman. He still managed to hold his own fairly well, but the fists were still magic, doing him large amounts of damage even when he did block them and they ruthlessly attacked at speeds Superman would expect from Wonder Woman. 2 fists collided with him on the left, bringing him down on one knee as he blocked them, another one flying at him with incredible speeds, slamming into him and sending skidding across the ground.

"This... Isn't... Over... Yet..." The exhausted hero said as he slowly struggled to get up. If he could get up and fly to the sun, he could recover from all the damage he had taken and gain more power. Unfortunately, Bayonetta suddenly stood over him with a smirk.

"I think it is over, dear. Time to say good night." She said, her clothes disappearing again as she stomped on the ground, sending it through a portal. Suddenly, a giant stiletto-wearing foot came out of a portal above him, knocking him out.

End music

Bayonetta looked sadly down at the unconscious hero before her. She may have been given an order to kill him, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. "You better be grateful for this. I'm risking my neck by letting you live. A pity you probably don't have your wallet on you in that get-up. I could've taken it and called this even." She said as she walked away.

Analysis:

1: This probably could've been played out a little longer, but I covered everything important. Anyway, much like with Sora, Bayonetta's repertoire consists of almost nothing that isn't magic, the closest weapon she has to being normal is Scarborough Fair. The rest of her weapons, supposedly having been made from actual living demons Rodin killed and turned their souls into weapons, it can only be assumed they're magic as well. Superman is weak to magic and does often get cocky, believing almost nothing can hurt him, that only played into her favor. As he caught on a little too late, he already took some serious damage, as Shuraba drains/steals their victims souls, likely by killing them but also possibly by cutting them, as Bayonetta gets SMALL amounts of health back each time she hits an opponent with it.

2: Superman is fast and powerful, but Bayonetta is fast and durable enough to counter that. She has incredible reflexes, as she regularly has to dodge lightning bolts and she is incredibly durable to blunt force trauma (the only thing Superman has), as seen when that angel with the tentacles smashes her into the ground and large amounts of rubble pieces of rubble, more than enough to crush a regular human, fall on her. Her regular speed and strength are also outstanding, as she can outrun cars and throw around absolutely MASSIVE angels, but still nowhere near Superman.

3: Witch Time would play a decent role in this fight, as Bayonetta could use it at least once to get a few quick shots in, but Superman has been shown to counter other time slowing abilities in the past, so it would work a few times, but not enough to make a CRITICAL difference, unless Bayonetta went straight for the kill, which, given her character, isn't likely. While she is absolutely ruthless to the angels and demons she fights, she appears to be sympathetic to humans, never trying to harm them and protecting them from angel attacks, as seen when she TRIED to save Luka's father and in Bayonetta 2 when she stopped the angels from crashing a jet into town.

4: Superman MIGHT have been able to fight off Bayonetta's summons at full power, but she uses them mainly as finishers and when she did break them out in this fight, Superman had been decently worn down already, like sending in Hulk after Loki already got his ass kicked twice before in The Avengers. In addition to being immensely powerful, Hecatoncheries is also insanely fast for a bunch of giant fists and also have powerful magic on their own, which would all but assure Superman would have no fight left in him by the time it was finished.

5: Ultimately, it again came down to who would outsmart the other: Superman is a genius, insanely OP and a great strategist (from what I hear), but Bayonetta is unbelievably unpredictable and, as I keep saying, has exactly what is needed to put Superman down. In the end, Superman would not be ready for what Bayonetta has up her... sleeves... I think... I don't know, the hair-clothes thing confuses me.

Next fight...
