A few months after the defeat of Asura, Crona was welcomed back to the Academy as a student and soon was even able to take on missions like other students (hey, I just thought of this, but wouldn't it be pointless for Crona to try and make a Death Scythe? Even if he did, Lord Death still couldn't use it). His first mission took him to New York, hunting down a guy people called Sergeant Knives, a dishonorably discharged former Sergeant who took his anger out by slitting peoples throats in dark alleys late at night and eating their souls. Crona took the mission, but nevertheless shook with fear as he walked down the streets, looking into the alleys, his whole body shaking as he continued his search. "What if he tries to cut my throat?! I don't know how I'd deal with that!" Crona whimpered.
"What are you talking about, you moron?!" A high-pitched voice snapped. Suddenly, a tiny black demon popped out of his back and punched him in the back of the head (by the way, Crona is a GUY. DO NOT try to tell me he's a girl). "If he tries to slit your throat, I'll just harden the black blood. You are so stupid sometimes." Ragnarok said as he now rode on Crona's back and head. Suddenly, they heard a commotion in an alley to their right. "Hey, did you hear that? That might be our target! Hurry up so we can finish this job and I can get something to eat and go to bed!" The Demon Sword exclaimed, pulling right on Crona's bangs like reigns on a horse.
"Ow! I'm going, just stop pulling on my hair, I don't like it!" The pink-haired boy said, quickly scurrying down the alley, seeing a twisted-looking human desperately trying to defend himself with a Bowie knife as another man dressed in a strange spandex outfit rushed at him, slashing at him with razor sharp claws. With his right arm, he swung and sliced the blade off the handle of the knife and thrust his left arm forward, impaling the guy through the chest and lifting him off the ground. His body then became black and dispersed, spinning around a red egg-like object and disappearing, leaving his damnced soul floating there.
"Mission accomplished." Wolverine said, before sniffing the air and turning to see Crona standing there in shock. "Hey, kid! What are you doing out this late. Your mama's probably worried about you." He said.
Crona cringed in fear, both at the thought of his evil, cruel, all-around bitch mother (I HATE Medusa) and that the strange, scary man ackowledged him. "Uh..." Crona said in fear.
"Hey! That was our target! You better pass that soul my way, claw freak! 'Cuz I'm hungry!" Ragnarok shouted, stretching and leaning forward over the top of Crona's head, glaring at Wolverine with his x shaped pupils.
"I'm a freak? That's rich, coming from someone with two heads, one that looks like a girl and one with the voice of a girl." Logan smirked.
Ragnarok's eyes widened for a moment in disbelief someone spoke to him like that, before turning into a glare that could kill. "What did you say?! At least we're short because Crona's still growing! You look like a monkey that belongs in a circus with that outfit!" The little demon ranted, flailing one arm angrily.
Wolverine growled at this, taking up his fighting stance. "Alright, bub, you want trouble? You just got it!" He said.
"Ragnarok, I don't know how to deal with a guy who has claws like that." Crona said fearfully, looking at the demon on top of his head.
"You beat the shit out of him! That's how you deal with him!" Ragnarok snapped, punching Crona in the head again before sinking into his back. At that moment, an extremely thin straight sword with a mouth on it appeared in the boy's hand.
"That's what you're gonna fight me with? That's almost cute, punk. Get ready to get your ass kicked!" Wolverine said, rushing in.

Crona screamed and swung downwards at Wolverine as the latter swung his right arm at Crona, hitting him on the left side of the rib cage where his claws stopped as soon as they made contact while Crona brought the skinny sword down on Wolverine's left side where the shoulder meets the neck, his blade going only a little deeper than Logan's had, stopping at the bone. "What the?!" Wolverine and Ragnarok said at the same time, Crona and Logan both jumping back.
"I hit the little punk! But my claws stopped as soon as I broke skin!" The X-man growled.
"My blood is black. You can't hurt me like that." Crona said tonelessly.
"Then I better try harder." Wolverine said, rushing in again.
Crona screamed again and rushed in, swinging Raganarok at speeds of a blur, constantly hitting Wolverine, but every time, his blade stopping when it hit bone. "No! No! No! I can't cut him! I don't know how to deal with that!" Crona whined.
"Deal with this!" Wolverine said, pulling his head back and slamming it into crona's face, causing the boy to lose blood from his nose and face, which dripped into a small puddle in front of Wolverine as Crona staggered back.
"What is this guy?! He must have black blood like us!" Ragnarok said.
"Blood ain't got nothing to do with it, punk. My bones are covered in the strongest metal around." Wolverine smirked.
"Crona, look!" Ragnarok said. Crona quickly saw what his partner saw: the small puddle of blood at Wolverine's feet.
"Blood needle!" Crona shouted.
"What?" Wolverine said, looking down at the puddle of blood before him. Suddenly, a series of long needles errupted from the blood and stabbed the Immortal Man in the legs, arms and chest. "Dammit!" He growled in pain, struggling to free himself.
"Crona now!" Ragnarok said.
"But we can't cut him!" The meister said in fear, although he rushed in, anyway.
"So stab him! Go between the bones! Hit the important stuff!" He said.
Crona shouted and did so, striking multiple times at blinding speeds, Ragnarok's downsized blade working in his favor, easily slipping between the ribs to hit the vital organs behind them. Wolverine shouted in rage and pain, finally managing to push himself off the needles, the wounds sealing instantly as he panted, glaring at the boy in front of him in anger. "Alright, kid. No more games!" Wolverine said, rushing in and slashing away. Crona did his best to block or otherwise defend against the attacks, but he was still taking way more hits than he was stopping, the claws managing to do some damage to the black blood. Eventually, Wolverine even managed to drive his claws through Crona's stomach, Crona coughing up blood as this happened, Wolverine throwing him back in an attempt to avoid another surprise blood attack, but the droplets of blood simply floated in the air around him.
"Damn!" Logan cursed, looking around, trying to find a way out of the trap he was in. All he could do was dodge to the best of his ability as the needles shot out at him. He managed to not get impaled, but a good number of the needles managed to leave him with some deep cuts. Nothing he couldn't heal from, though.
As this happened, Crona was recovering from the attacks and got up with only a little extra effort. "I don't think I can deal with this. Nothing we done has stopped him and it looks like all the wounds we gave him are gone." Crona said.
"Then get your head in the game and try Scream Resonance! You take any more serious damage than what you have so far and I'm taking half your dinner tonight!" The sword snapped at him.
"No fair! I can't lose any more weight! Maka says it's not healthy being as skinny as I am now!" the pink-haired boy whined.
"Here he comes! Get ready!" Ragnarok screeched as Crona looked up to see the mutant rushing in at him again. He managed to block his claws and hit Wolverine in the shoulder with his sword, but this time he had something extra to it. "Scream Resonance!" He shouted. The mouth on the sword grew into a smirk before letting out a loud scream, sending vibrations through it and the Adamantium, cutting into it a bit, Wolverine letting out a small shout of pain before jumping back. "Nice! Now see if you can keep him at a distance!" Ragnarok said.
"Right." Crona said, slitting his own wrist. "Bloody slicer!" He said, flinging his hand forward, the blood that came out of the wound becoming a flying blade, flying through the air and into Wolverine's neck, bringing him down on one knee as he pulled it out, coughing and trying to breath.
"You're pissing me off, kid!" Logan said, rushing in again.
"Screech Gamma!" He shouted, Ragnarok screaming again, before Crona swung forward, a wave of darkness flying forward, tearing up the ground as it went. Wolverine interlocked his claws and blocked the attack, managing to hold his ground and breaking the powerful attack.
"That does it, bub! I'm gonna shred you to pieces!" Wolverine said, his eye going red as he rushed forward, any projectile or scream attacks Crona sent at him. He lashed out with his claws, Crona blocking, but the force of the attack knocked him down. He looked up to see Wolverine right above him, readying his claws again. Crona held up his arm to block the attack, but to his shock and horror, Wolverine's claws broke into the black blood, cutting halfway through Crona's arm. "Say goodnight, you little punk!" He said, raising his other arm and swinging his claws, but this time, a small, cartoonish, gloved hand stopped him. He looked up a bit to see the hand came from the small demon from earlier.
"It's not our bedtime yet, freak! Goobee!" Ragnarok said, pushing back with enough force to knock Wolverine onto his back and across the ground a few paces. "Get up, you moron! That won't keep him down! You gotta stay away from those claws!" Ragnarok said, pulling on Crona's head, helping the small pink-haired boy up a bit.
"How?! He moves faster than I can and he's really scary! I can't deal with this!" Crona said.
"I have to do everything around here!" The demon complained, sinking into Crona's back. Suddenly, two flimsy, but usable dragon wings appeared from the boy's back, allowing him to take to the skies.
"I can still get you up there, punk!" Wolverine shouted, managing to jump and slash at Crona a few times, but the boy managed to doge until gravity pulled Logan back to the ground. "Alright, that's it! Let's show him what we did to Niddhog!" Ragnarok said.
Crona gripped the sword tightly in pain, before screaming loudly, the sword joining in. "Screech Beta!" The boy shouted, a black blade-like wave shooting from the sword, cutting through Wolverine and the street and building along the vertical line of the strike. For a normal human, it would've been fatal, but Logan's skeleton held through the attack and his healing factor was sealing the wound.
"Get down here, you little shit!" He shouted, ready to jump before a voice rang out.
"That's enough Logan!" Storm said sternly as she descended from the sky.
"Crona, it's alright now. You can come down now." A voice rang out from below the Demon swordsman.
"Maka!" He said, flying down, the wings retracting into his back.
"That little punk was starting shit. I was ending it." Logan said.
"These children are not our enemies, Logan. And they are still children. You can't lose your temper like that." Storm said.
"Fine. I'll let it go this time, punk! Next time, you better keep that little demon in line. Or I will!" Logan threatened as he and Storm retreated.
"I don't think I can deal with this anymore..." Crona whined.
"Hehehehe! I don't know what you mean! That was fun!" Ragnarok giggled mischievously.
OH MY GODS, that was awesome!
Analysis:
1: This fight was INSANELY close. Wolverine is powerful, but while in his right mind, does not have quite enough strength to break through Crona's black blood. It has survived and endured things a good deal stronger than Wolverine and while those Adamantium claws are extremely sharp, Crona is barely scratched when being cut by MAGIC blades, possibly just as sharp and deadly as the claws with additional properties. However, if Logan lost himself in his berserker rage, losing any sense of restraint, he might be able to do SOME damage to the black blood, but not enough to completely cut THROUGH Crona. He could impale Crona, but that still wouldn't do too much, as the black blood hardens and basically heals any wounds Crona has as long as Ragnarok is in control and can manipulate the blood, which he was the entire fight. Wolverine does not possess the soul wave techniques necessary to do internal damage, interfere with Ragnarok or destabilize their soul wavelengths.
2: This was after the events of Soul Eater and after Maka healed Crona with her exorcism wavelength, so this with the tiny, thin Ragnarok, which would be able to perfectly slip through that spaces between Wolverine's bones and hit all the important stuff, which would take away some of Logan's stamina. While it still wouldn't greatly faze him, it's more than what Logan could do to him at first. Also, Ragnarok's scream resonance does basically the same thing as Misty Knight's bionic arm or Raiden's HF blade: sending vibrations along the weapon to weaken the targets molecular bonds, meaning Crona could actually do damage to Logan's Adamantium and once again, it can damage living, MAGIC weapons, so it's even more likely it could do significant damage to Adamantium.
3: Crona's black blood is an incredibly versatile and unpredictable weapon. It can do whatever Crona and Ragnarok want it to do, so when Logan DID start making Crona bleed, he was actually making things worse for himself, as Ragnarok can repeatedly change the density of the black blood from solid to liquid and back as much as needed, laying a number of traps that could devastate just about any opponent. If Logan didn't have his healing factor, all the traps Crona had laid could easily kill him. And if and when the traps immobilize Logan, like the first time the spikes were used, it would give Crona so many openings.
4: The two of them had something to counter pretty much anything the other had to throw at them: At first Wolverine's skeleton was tough enough to handle Crona's attacks, but Crona countered this by either going in between the bones to hit organs and wear Logan down or use Scream Resonance to weaken the skeleton. Crona's Black Blood could withstand the sharpness of Logan's claws and the strength behind them, but when Logan went Berserk, he would've been able to start doing damage to Crona and wouldn't stop until he was dead. However, Ragnarok is strong enough to push back things much stronger and heavier than Wolverine, so he'd be able to push him back as well and if the two realized they were in trouble, they could take to the skies to stay out of Logan's reach.
5: Honestly, they're matched in just about every way possible, the only fair result is a draw.
