Author's Note:

Hi, there. One more fan-fiction about High & Low (what else). I'll attempt to write about the Amamiya Brothers.

I don't own any Original Character (OC) -even if I wanted too-, Gangs names or areas.

The first chapter was a bit longer, than i thought. It was only my intention to stage were the characters stood (OC and not) in the story. And adding few side notes.

~ Prologue ~

~ 1st Act: Mugen Road ~

Hikari Watanabe was the Watanabes' lone child and sole heir. The Watanabe Family was an extremely wealthy and influential partnership. The financial partnership was something her grandpa had developed on his own. He was a decent individual who never engaged in unlawful activity. His lone child followed in his dad's footsteps. He was successful in business and grew it to be the largest in Asia. He had two children an older son and a daughter, the youngest, Hikari. Her ultimate goal was to practice law and join the family company. She brought up the dream so frequently that even her close friend Naruse Aika was affected by it. Aika was just in the first grade at the time. Hikari was her big sister in her eyes. Hikari was six years her senior.

Aika pursued Hikari's aim of becoming a lawyer by devoting herself to her studies. Hikari, on the other hand, gave up that desire the day her brother passed away. She got disoriented, from a mature young lady, she turned into a Yankee. She was a member of the female gang called "Pink Sakura", which she subsequently rose to command. Due to her precise and quick driving, she earned the nickname "Speedo Sakura".

She made the decision to study diligently throughout high school. She discovered a new dream: to train as a detective and track down the murderer of her brother. Her family first didn't approve. The sole succeeder made a U-turn and left her position. She valued finding the offender more than wealth and influence. Finally, her parents agreed to let her pursue her academic goals. Even her Gang was on her side. She had to resign from her position as a "Sakura member," but she remained close to the group. And indeed, despite Hikari's repeated requests for them to cease calling her that, every member still considered her to be their leader.

Hikari stood at around 5' 5". (165 cm). She had a slim, toned body from working out. She clocked in at 110 pounds (around 50 kg). With some freckles on her nose, she had a light, pale complexion. Her face had a delicate oval shape and was slender. Her beautiful brown eyes were large and expressive. Her lips were a delicate rosebud pink. little, flat nose Her hair was tight, light brown in tone, and had wavy and curled waves that were lustrous. She consistently wore athletic shirts, runners, and chic casual skinny jeans. She has been a detective for over two years, and just a few months ago, she was promoted to Division A of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police.

In terms of her personality, behaviors, and attitude. She was a powerful tidal wave of mixed traits. Hikari was a person who was honest, loyal, kind, and sincere to those who knew her. (Who looked after, protected, and helped her family.) She was a Determined, Persistent, Adventurous, Charismatic, and Bossy Detective to the people she worked with. Hikari was charming, cheerful, playful, and funny when she was in middle school. But, after her brother died, she gradually changed. She became mean, rude, self-centered, bold, and sometimes cruel. Her conversations were rougher but smarter. When it came to catching a criminal, she was daring and fearless, stubborn and psychotic. Even though she was deeply depressed, she was still lost and didn't know her true colors.

She'd come a long way from a "Sakura Gang" member to a promising detective. Longer than she had anticipated. She even surprised herself on occasion. That she was able to keep up without forgetting or revealing her main cause. And what was more shocking, was that there were more people researching the "Kuryu Group". Most have experienced the loss of a loved one, family member, or friend. And, while the majority of those killings appeared to be unintentional. They were only set up to appear as unexpected events. However, the majority of those were planned and carried out by the "Kuryu Group" or their associations. She managed to meet people, who were after "Kuryu Group". This provided her with additional information for her investigation. And then she met Takeru. Who had also begun an investigation into his parents' deaths. Of course, she had no idea Takeru was Amamiya Kyodai's elder brother. Both only communicated when they had new information to share that would help their search.

For several days, Masaki and Hiroto had no contact with Takeru. Takeru stopped answering his phone and stopped showing up to the apartment where his two brothers were staying. No matter how hard they looked, they couldn't locate the older sibling. As of late, they were scouting the Mugen neighborhood. How quickly did that gang gain notoriety and members?

"Oi, Hiroto! I don't think Aniki (Big Brother) will be here." Masaki said as they reached an alley close to the Mugen territory.

Hiroto had just turned into the alley without even noticing that in the end were hanging a few of the Mugen's new members. "Just to make sure we have covered every spot," Hiroto answered. He stepped his feet against the ground and looked at his brother.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the alley, Hikari was talking with Tatsuya. After the Hyuga Gang attacked the Mugen Tatsuya noticed that the Kuryu Group was showing interest in their district. Hikari ended up one day randomly dining at Itokan Diner. There she met Naomi's brother and they had a long talk. Tatsuya explained his worries about The Kuryu Group. And since it had to do with the Kuryu Group it caught Hikari's attention. Today Hikari had a meal in Itokan Diner, and Tetsuya walked a few blogs with her.

"Tatsuya-san, I can find my way from here. You don't have to worry!" Hikari told him as she was looking for her bike's keys.

The man nodded "I am sure you can take care of yourself. But The Mugen lately became dangerous. I don't know what's going on with Kohaku. I have to talk with him But the gang changed as all the new members joined."

"I noted that. Lately, Mugen's name is referred to many times. You should have a long talk with Kohaku-san." Hikari suggested as she sat on her bike.

Tatsuya agreed. He gave his goodbyes and returned to Itoken Diner. Hikari turned her bike on. When she was about to leave she noticed at the end of the alley two men in black and leather on their bikes. And a few of the Mugen new members. She could tell they were about to start a fight. She turned her bike around and drove over.

"We haven't seen you here before?" One of the Mugen's new gang members asked the Amamiya Brothers.

"You guys aren't part of the Mugen, right?" Asked a second one on the left.

Masaki took his sunglasses off and glared at them "Huh? Mugen?" he asked.

"Yeah, Mugen!" another member yelled. Hiroto moved his head aside and smiled. As the guy went on saying "You know about them right?"

Hiroto climbed off his bike and came face to face with the man. He still had his ironic smile on his face. "We do!" he replied calmly. At the end of the alley, Hikari had already reached a few steps away from them. She turned her bike engine off and watched.

Masaki who was still sitting advised his brother "Oh! Hiroto! Let's go home!"

"Wait a moment. We're working hard to protect this town." the guy on the left notified Masaki.

Hikari tilted her head 'Protect the town?!' she thought. After all, she knew what bad news the new members of the Mugen became.

Meanwhile, the guy had already sat in front of Masaki's bike and he demanded "As a token of your gratitude you should leave us all the money you have."

"Huh!" Hiroto almost flipped as he was easily fired up. He was face to face with another guy from the Mugen gang.

"You know what happens when you mess with the Mugen, right?" the guys stepped closer toward Hiroto.

Hikari let her feet touch the ground and pause there staring at the men and mostly turning her attention to Hiroto. She could tell the Mugen's new gang members. But the two men in black. "They aren't with the Mugen!" she whispered to herself.

"Or are you willing to fight us?" asked the Mugen member and kicked Hiroto's Bike tire. Hiroto without even thinking had lifted his arm, formed a fist, and punched him in the face, causing the guy to almost face the ground. Masaki didn't wait he had already jumped off his bike. Hikari calmed and watched them. She was off work today, there was no reason to stop them. But even if she wanted. She was alone without backup. There was no way she could win over.

Hiroto stormed off against two more members. His punches were deadly. Punch and fall. Masaki tried to stop his younger brother. He grabbed him from behind "Hiroto stop it!"

But Masaki was kicked by another guy. It pissed him off. His facial expression changed. "I'll kill you!" he yelled and kicked the guy. Of course, Masaki would regret it later. But he was always like that. Hikari chuckled. A few seconds earlier he was trying to stop his brother, and now he was also fighting.

Few kicks and punches and the Mugen guys were already beaten up. Hikari noted that those two were not just random people. They knew what they were doing. She stepped closer only to hear Masaki complaining "I did it again!" He would end up always regretting it afterward. Hiroto walked closer to a member that was sobbing on the ground.

He grabbed his hair and pulled it, facing the guy. "Where is your Leader?" Hiroto asked seriously.

Masaki who was already regarding what they did call him off "Hiroto!"

"Lead us to him," Hiroto asked him ignoring his brother.

"Seriously. You don't listen to your brother!" complained Masaki.

Hikari knew already two things about them. They were strong, and they were brothers. Back in her mind she already acknowledged who they were. " I see trouble. Big trouble!" she mumbled as she stepped even closer.

Hiroto freed the man and walked behind Masaki. He put his hand against his neck waiting for Masaki to follow. He wouldn't let it rest. He wanted to meet with Mugen's Leader. He suddenly noticed a girl standing only a few steps away from them. He tilted his head. Since the girl didn't seem either scared or surprised. It was like she knew exactly what happened.

Masaki sighed. But he ended up agreeing with his brother. He climbed on his bike, after Hiroto. Hiroto totally ignored the girl. He was in a rush to deal with those "Mugen" As for Masaki when he noticed Hikari they had already passed the alley. He was sure, he saw a girl there. If he would see her earlier, he surely would talk to her. Masaki was such a player.

As for Hikari, she said, "You better stay out of fighting with the Mugen."
