04 - Dusk of the Uchiha
-Uchiha Meeting Room (An Hour later)-
"What's going on Itachi?" - asked Shisui, worriedly
"Father is about to announce something to the clan, I am a shadow clone by the way once I get the information I will dispel and give the information to Sandiame-sama" - said Itachi
"Understood" - Shisui nodded
As the Uchiha Clan's leader, Fugaku Uchiha, stood before a crowd of his fellow Uchiha, he knew the weight of the message he was about to deliver. He took a deep breath and began to speak, his voice clear and strong.
"My fellow Uchiha, we have faced discrimination and oppression for too long. Our clan has been marginalized, and our talent has been overlooked. We have been treated as lesser citizens, and this injustice can no longer continue. It is time for us to take a stand and show the village just what we are capable of."
Fugaku paused for a moment, letting his words sink in. "We have been given the task of protecting this village with our lives, but we have not been given the respect and recognition we deserve. We are the ones who have been charged with keeping this village safe, and yet we are not treated as equals. This is not only unfair, but it is also a danger to the village's security."
The crowd had fallen silent, and Fugaku could sense their determination and frustration. He continued, "It is time for us to take action. We must show the village that we will no longer be oppressed, that our talents will no longer be taken for granted. We must take control of our own destinies and claim the respect and recognition that is rightfully ours."
Fugaku's voice grew louder and more passionate as he spoke, and the crowd began to chant, "The Uchiha will rise! The Uchiha will rise!"
"Yes, my fellow Uchiha, the time is now. We must take a stand, not just for ourselves, but for the future of our proud and noble clan. We must show the village that the Uchiha will no longer be disrespected or marginalized. We must show them that we are a force to be reckoned with, that we will not be silenced or forgotten. The revolution has begun, and it will not end until we have what is rightfully ours. The Uchiha will rise, and we will not rest until we have secured the respect and recognition that is rightfully ours. Thank you, and may the Uchiha name ring out loud and proud for generations to come!"
The crowd erupted
"They are planning a damn, coup d'etat. I have to make sure the Hokage is informed, but I cannot dispel as Father will be suspicious of me" - said Itachi
"We mustn't allow the village to be destroyed, we have to and I mean have to stop this!"
-Hokages Office (2 Hours Later)-
Itachi: Hokage-sama, Councilors, I have some grave news to report.
Hokage: What is it, Itachi?
Itachi: The Uchiha clan, along with their leader, Fugaku Uchiha, is planning a coup against the village. And all the Uchiha members have agreed to it.
Danzo: This is a serious matter. How could the Uchiha, who have been loyal to Konoha for generations, turn against us?
Shisui: I can answer that, Danzo. The Uchiha feel that their contributions to the village have been overlooked and that they deserve more power and recognition. They believe that a coup is the only way to achieve their goals.
Homura: But a coup would result in a civil war! We cannot let this happen!
Itachi: We agree. That's why we're here to report this to you. We need to act quickly to prevent a disaster.
Hokage: Agreed. Itachi, I want you to lead a team to gather more information and assess the situation. Shisui, I want you to use your Sharingan to monitor the Uchiha's movements and report back to us.
Shisui: Understood, Hokage-sama.
Danzo: And what about the rest of the Uchiha clan? Surely not all of them are involved in this conspiracy.
Itachi: You're right, Danzo. We can't punish the innocent for the actions of a few. That's why we need to act with caution and precision. We need to identify the key players and neutralize the threat.
Koharu: And what if they refuse to negotiate?
Shisui: Then we may have to use force to prevent the coup. But we should only do so as a last resort.
Hokage: Itachi, Shisui, I trust that you both will do everything in your power to prevent a civil war. The peace and stability of our village depend on it.
Itachi and Shisui nodded in agreement, determined to find a way to resolve the conflict with the Uchiha without resorting to violence.
-Somewhere in the Uchiha Clan Compound-
Itachi: Father, we cannot go through with the coup. It will only lead to destruction and bring shame to our clan.
Shisui: He's right, Fugaku. We need to rethink our strategy. There are other ways to achieve our goals.
Fugaku: (scoffs) You two are young and naive. You don't understand the power we Uchiha possess. We cannot allow ourselves to be oppressed any longer.
Itachi: But Father, we are not oppressed. We are an important part of the village. The Hokage values our contributions.
Shisui: And if we go through with the coup, we will be seen as traitors. The other villages will turn against us.
Fugaku: (shakes his head) You don't understand. Our clan deserves more. We have the Sharingan. We are the strongest.
Itachi: But at what cost, Father? We will lose everything we hold dear. Our families, our homes, our way of life.
Shisui: And not to mention the innocent lives that will be lost. We cannot justify that.
Fugaku: (raises his voice) The Uchiha shall rise, and Konoha shall fall! Just like Madara wanted!
Itachi and Shisui exchange a worried glance, knowing that Fugaku's mind is made up. They can only hope to find a way to prevent the worst from happening.
It has now been a week since Konohagakure was informed of the Uchiha's planned Coup d'etat. All negotiations have failed, Itachi was able to meet with the Uchiha before the Coup was supposed to happen.
"Good afternoon, Uchiha clan members. We have gathered here today to discuss the recent events that have been taking place within our village. As you all know, there have been talks of a coup d'etat being planned by some members of the Uchiha clan." - said the Hokage
"We are here to ask you to reconsider these plans. The consequences of such actions would be devastating for our village, and would put the lives of innocent people at risk." continued Itachi
"We understand that you may feel frustrated with the current state of affairs, and that you may feel that your voices are not being heard. But violence and aggression are not the answer. We must work together to find a solution that is in the best interests of everyone." - Shisui added
"We are here to offer you a way out. If you agree to abandon this coup and leave Konoha peacefully, we will guarantee your safety and security as you depart." - said the Hokage, with a glare in his eyes.
"We do not want to see anyone hurt. We do not want to see our village torn apart by violence and conflict. We want to find a path forward that is peaceful and constructive." - said Shisui
"We understand that this is a difficult decision to make. But we urge you to think carefully about the consequences of your actions. Do not let anger and frustration cloud your judgement. Choose the path of peace, and we will help you to leave Konoha unharmed." - said Itachi, dropping to his knees pleading with his clan.
"We will leave the village tonight, but what about Fagaku?" - asked a masked Uchiha
"Fagaku will be sentenced to death for treason against Konohagakure, alongside his wife Mikoto Uchiha for aiding him." - said Danzo
"Well, Anbu is ready to escort you guys out of Konoha. Are you ready?" - asked the Elderly Hokage
"At once! All hail the Uchiha, we will be together again! DISPERSE" - ordered the masked Uchiha
"Now that all the Uchiha are gone, we need you Itachi to get rid of your mother and father"
-Training Grounds-
As the night settled, the sounds of the forest grew quiet, only interrupted by the distant sounds of animals and the rustling of leaves. Suddenly, the peace of the night was disturbed by a scuffle, as a group of Shinobi burst out of the darkness.
It was a battle, fierce and brutal, as a trio of Shinobi squared off against each other, each one wielding deadly techniques and lethal skill. The first was Itachi, with his piercing Mangekyo Sharingan eyes and a cold, calculated determination. In his hands were two chakra-infused blades, which glinted with a blue light.
The second was his father, Fugaku, a strong and powerful Shinobi in his own right, wielding weapons of his own. And finally, there was Mikoto - a fierce and capable warrior, wielding techniques of both fire and lightning.
The battle was fierce, as each of the opponents fought to gain an advantage. Mikoto unleashed a torrent of fire, but Itachi easily countered, his Mangekyo Sharingan granting him a predictive edge. Meanwhile, Fugaku lunged forward with his blades, but Itachi simply sidestepped, shattering the older man's knee with a precise blow.
Itachi then seized Fugaku's head, taking his eyes with a single stroke of his Mangekyo Sharingan. Mikoto, driven by a burning hatred, unleashed a barrage of fire and lightning techniques, each one more powerful than the last. But Itachi remained unflinching, his Sharingan granting him insight into her every move.
And then, with a sudden burst of speed, it was over. Itachi seized Mikoto's head in his hand, his Sharingan glowing with power. With a single strike, he cut her head off, taking the newly-awakened Mangekyo Sharingan in his hands.
Itachi stood among the bodies of his parents, his heart heavy with the weight of his actions. He had achieved a power he could only have dreamed of, but at what cost? He was now the owner of two powerful Mangekyo Sharingan, their power coursing through his veins, but he was haunted by the memory of the two people who had loved him most. He knew that he was forever changed by what he had done.
"I have no hard feelings Mom and Dad, I tried to reason with you. Now I will take care of Sasuke and the clan." - said Itachi
-Flashback Begins-
Itachi stood alone on a desolate battlefield, surrounded by the lifeless bodies of his fallen comrades. He had just fought in an intense battle, one that had lasted for hours. He was exhausted, physically and mentally drained. As he surveyed the destruction around him, his eyes fell upon the lifeless body of his best friend (Kagami Uchiha).
Itachi walked towards his friend's body, tears streaming down his face. He knelt down beside him, overcome with grief. As he looked at his friend's lifeless body, something inside him snapped. A surge of energy pulsed through his body, causing his vision to blur. When he opened his eyes again, they had transformed.
Itachi's Sharingan had evolved into the Mangekyo Sharingan. The new power coursing through his body was overwhelming, and he felt a sense of both awe and fear. His eyes were now able to see things that were previously unknown to him, and he knew that he had unlocked a power that could change the course of his life.
Itachi rose to his feet, his new power at the forefront of his mind. He knew that he had to use it for the greater good, to protect his village and his family. With a sense of purpose, he set off towards the horizon, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
-Flashback ends-
"How'd it go, Itachi?" - asked Shisui
"Well, I killed my parents. I retrieved their eyes and placed them in a storage place for when Sasuke unlocks the Mangeyou sharingan." - explained Itachi
"What about you? You're going blind from overuse" - said Shisui in a worried tone
"I need you to implant it for me, just like when your Father died and you implanted his eyes into yours" - Itachi begged
"Of course, we have to report to Sandiame-sama. And then I will implant the eyes." - said Shisui, before flickering to the Hokage's office.
-Hokages Office-
"Lord Hokage, I have terminated Uchiha Fagaku and Uchiha Mikoto. The last Uchiha has just departed from the Uchiha gates." - reported Itachi
"What did you do with the bodies?" - asked Danzo
"Well, I took their eyes and they will be implanted to their children when they need it" - explained Itachi
"No, the eyes are the property" - said Danzo before he was interrupted
"With all due respect, the eyes of Uchiha Fagaku and Mikoto are not property of the village. They are the property of Uchiha Sasuke and Uchiha Itachi. I don't know what you're planning Danzo but you aren't getting a hold of their eyes" - Shisui shouted
"Calm down, Shisui, have some respect Danzo is a village councilor damn it!" - exclaimed Homura
"No, Homura. Shisui is right, Danzo is always planning things against the village. In my opinion, he deserved that. Do not speak to a Shinobi of such high regard like that again Homura. Remember Tobirama-sama put me in charge, I willingly let you be my advisors take that as a warning. Henceforward you guys are advisors to the Hokage and should the hokages choose not to have you as their advisors you will be removed" - commanded Hiruzen
All three councilors were shocked, their former teammate just removed their authority and power.
"Thank you Itachi and Shisui for everything you've done. You may go home!"
