06 - Land of Waves II

-One day later-

As they began their search the originals of Naruto, Sasuke and Hinata were taking turns monitoring the house that they were operating in. Tomorrow was going to be the day Tazuna resumes the building of the bridge, they were excited knowing that there might be more ninjas who attack. The clones they sent with Team guy had already dispersed, giving them full time to replenish the chakra their clones took.

As Team Guy cautiously made their way through the dense forest, they could sense the tension in the air. They could hear the distant sound of voices and laughter coming from the direction of Gato's fortress, and they knew they had to be on high alert. Suddenly, one of the guards on lookout duty spotted them and yelled out a warning to his companions.

The group of young ninjas immediately jumped into action. Neji and Lee moved to flank the enemy while Tenten prepared to launch a barrage of kunai.

Neji was the first to engage in combat, using his Byakugan to take down the closest enemy with a precise strike to their pressure points. Meanwhile, Lee, with his incredible speed, had already made his way behind the enemy's line of defense. He unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, taking down multiple opponents before they knew what had hit them.

Tenten, for her part, stood back and launched a steady stream of sharp kunai, taking out countless enemy ninja before they even had a chance to react. She was a force to be reckoned with, a master of her craft and a powerhouse on the battlefield.

As the battle raged on, the team kept their cool and their focus, knowing that this mission was critical to the safety of the Leaf Village. They worked together seamlessly, executing their moves and strategies with perfect coordination.

In the end, they emerged victorious, having successfully infiltrated Gato's base and defeating his army of mercenaries. It was a hard-fought and dangerous mission, but they had proved their worth once again and shown the world just how powerful and capable the shinobi of the Leaf Village

Neji threw a Kunai, summoning Naruto.

"Huh?! What the hell is this" - said Naruto looking confused

"As you can see by the dead bodies, this is Gato's hideout." - Guy said

"Yes! Have you guys found the kid yet?" - Asked Naruto

"No, I just brought you here so you can help. But Rock-lee is engaging in battle with some more of Gato's men"

As Team Guy made their way through the hideout, they began to notice the sounds of battle growing closer. As they quickened their pace, they suddenly came upon a clearing where a group of Gato's men were locked in battle with Leei.

With a burst of chakra, Guy activated his Dynamic Entry technique and charged towards the group of men, with the rest of Team Guy quickly following suit.

In a whirlwind of fists and kicks, the ninja's made quick work of the criminals, leaving only one remaining. As they caught their breath, they noticed a pair of young children cowering in fear behind them.

Excitedly, Lee picked up the child and the women, one in each arm, and asked where they came from. The remaining criminal spoke up, explaining that the two were the missing Family of Tazuna, the bridge builder who had been kidnapped by Gato.

Meanwhile, Naruto had been quietly observing the events from the shadows. Sensing the opportunity, he hurried over to where Gato was hiding his fortune and the ninja's tools, quickly stuffing them into a scroll.

With a swift movement, he activated his Flying Thunder God technique, teleporting to the ground and grabbing the children from Lee's arms. He would them teleport the family to Team 7. With another teleportation, he then returned to the scene of the battle and secretly collected the scroll containing the fortune and tools.

The ninja's would find success in both saving and delivering the children to their grandfather, while Naruto would secure everything Gato had for himself. With the combined efforts of Team 7 and Team Guy, the bridge builder, Tazuna, would finally have his missing family returned to him.

-Bridge (The next day)-

As Team 7 andd Team 8 arrived at the bridge with Tazuna who was almost done building the bridge, they were met by Zabuza and Haku, both looking ready for a fight.

Zabuza broke the silence first, stepping forward and declaring, "This bridge is our territory. You have no business being here. Leave now, or you will feel the full force of my sword."

Hinata stepped forward, her fists raised and ready to fight, "We don't want trouble, but we refuse to be pushed around. We will fight for what we believe in."

Shisui interjected, "Then let us fight with honor. A fair duel, one-on-one, to see who is the stronger."

Zabuza smiled, "I like your style. I accept your challenge, but be warned, I do not go easy on my enemies."

Shisui smiled back, "Nor do I. Let's dance."

The two ninja charged at each other, their swords clashing in a whirlwind of speed and skill. Shisui was able to unleash his Mangekyo Sharingan, using his Kotoamatsukami to control Zabuza's actions, forcing him to drop his weapon and concede the fight.

Meanwhile, Hinata was able to use her Byakugan to predict Haku's attack patterns, swiftly dodging his needles and closing the distance between them. She quickly unleashed a powerful Gentle Fist strike, knocking Haku to the ground.

As Haku lay on the ground, weakened and defeated, Naruto approached him, secretly whispering in his ear. "You don't have to fight just because someone tells you to. I understand what it's like to be controlled, to feel like you have no choice. But you do have a choice. You can choose to be your own person, free from Zabuza's control."

Haku began to shake, as if a weight had been lifted from him. He slowly looked up at Naruto, acknowledging his words with a nod.

Zabuza, seeing the change in attitude in Haku, began to reconsider his own life choices, realizing that his loyalty to Zabuza had cost him many things.

Naruto's clonei approached, extending a hand to help him up, "It's not too late to choose a different path. You can still make a difference."

Zabuza accepted the hand and looked at his former apprentice with a mix of emotions. He was still processing the idea of changing sides and helping Naruto, but he knew that it was the right thing to do.

"I will tell you and Haku when I need you but until then, stay out of trouble. Take this too" - instructed Naruto, giving them two FTG kunai's and letting them go

"Naruto, why did you let them go? They're dangerous criminals!" - Asked Shisui

To which Naruto replied "I understand your concern, Shisui. But I believe that everyone has the potential to change and become better versions of themselves. Even people like Zabuza and Haku, who have done terrible things in the past, deserve a chance to redeem themselves."

"But they've killed so many people, and they're willing to do it again. How can we trust them?" - Shisui said

"Trust is not something that comes easily, but it's something that we have to be willing to give, even to those who have hurt us in the past. I have faith in them, and I believe that with our guidance, they can become an asset to our mission to restore peace to the Land of waves." - Added Naruto

"I see your point, Naruto. But I'll be keeping a close eye on them, just in case. We can't take any unnecessary risks." - Naruto said

Naruto nods, understanding Shisui's concerns. "Of course, Shisui-sensei. We'll do whatever it takes to keep the mission going, and that includes making sure that everyone on our team is accountable for their actions."

As the two ninja continued to discuss the situation, the rest of their team listened in, each offering their own perspectives and suggestions. It was clear that they all had the same goal in mind, and that they were willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it. Whether or not Haku and Zabuza would prove themselves to be trustworthy allies remained to be seen, but one thing was certain: the mission to restore peace to the Land of waves was not going to be easy, and they would all have to work together if they were going to be successful.

"Team Guy, please head back to Konoha. As you can see the bridge will be completed in a weeks time. We will return once that is complete. Please tell Sarutobi-sama that we defeated the assassins, and will return to Konoha after the bridge is complete" - ordered Shisui

"Roger that. We'll let the Hokage know that the mission was a success and that we're on our way back. Stay safe out here and make sure to keep an eye on Tazuna." - exclaimed Guy

"We'll do that, take care." - said Shisui

"Yeah, we'll do whatever it takes to make sure the bridge is built and that Tazuna is safe. We'll see you in Konoha." - Naruto added

"Let's go, guys. Our mission here is done. We've defeated Haku and Zabuza, and now it's time to make sure that we complete the bridge." - said Sasuke

"We'll do everything in our power to protect Tazuna and complete the mission." - added Hinata

As the members of Team Guy make their way back to Konoha, they can't help but feel a sense of relief and satisfaction knowing that they've accomplished their mission. They've defeated two of the most feared assassins in the world and protected Tazuna long enough for the bridge to be semi-completed. Now they can report back to Sarutobi-sama and let him know that the mission was a success. They have a lot of work ahead of them, but they know that they have the skills and determination to take on any challenge that comes their way. When they return to Konoha, they'll be ready for whatever may come their way, but for now, they can enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes with a hard-won victory.

-The Next day-

As the sun began to set over the Land of Waves, Tazuna put down his tools and surveyed the newly constructed bridge with pride. It would serve as an important link between his village and the neighboring one, and it was a testament to the hard work and determination of all those involved in its construction.

Tazuna turned to face the members of Team Seven, who had accompanied him on the mission. He was grateful for their assistance, and he wanted to express his appreciation in some way.

"My friends," he said, "I cannot express how grateful I am for your help in building this bridge. It has been a long and difficult journey, but with your strength and determination, we have finally succeeded in our goal. You have my eternal thanks, and the thanks of the entire Land of Waves."

The members of Team Seven beamed at his words. It was a proud moment for them, and they knew that they had played a significant role in helping Tazuna achieve his dream.

"It was our privilege," Kakashi said, bowing slightly. "We are proud to have helped you in this endeavor, and we hope that this bridge will serve as a symbol of the bonds between our villages for generations to come."

As the sun set fully behind the mountains, Team Seven began the journey back to Konoha, feeling a sense of accomplishment and determination. They knew that their next mission would be even more challenging, but they were ready to face it head-on.

Upon their return to Konoha, they reported back to the Hokage, who was pleased to hear the news of their success. He congratulated them on a job well done, and he expressed his appreciation for their tireless efforts in completing the mission.

"You have truly represented the spirit of the shinobi, Team Seven," the Hokage said. "You have shown determination, teamwork, and a strong sense of purpose. I am proud of all of you, and I have no doubt that you will continue to make great contributions to the village in the years to come."

The members of Team Seven left the Hokage's office feeling grateful for his encouragement and praise. They knew that they had a long road ahead of them, and that there would be many challenges to overcome. But they were ready to face them head-on, with the same determination and teamwork that had brought them this far.
