Chapter Twenty Four
Authors Note: I know you voted for promise or proposal, but remember Bella's feeling about engagement from the books. That still has some effect on my stories, she is still kind of the same Bella. ALSO chapter 22 has been changed. I didn't like how it was originally written so it has been altered. Some stuff is still the same.

"It's so good to see you" I hear her mom say hugging Bella tightly, I was inside on the phone. Actually I was on the phone but being ignored; I hate these three way call shit. "Jacob looks good, do you like him"
"Well we are kind of dating"
"Do you think I'll get some grandkids soon"
"Mom!"
"What a mom can't ask that, you two seem very attached. Am I seeing wedding bells soon?"
"Oh god no, I can't get married this soon."
"And why not"
"I don't know, it's too early. If I get engaged people will thing I got knocked up or something"
"That's only if you elope honey"
"Same concept. I don't know I don't want to think about it."
"Ok, so how do you like the sun?"
"It feels nice, I kind of miss it"
"Come visit it more often" I see a small smile on Bella's lips.
"Jake you still there"
"Yeah Sam I'm here. I'll spend a few days at Bella's moms house, then well hit the road and head up north until Maine then head back to Washington by next weekish"
"Sounds good, most of the packs have already arrived. Esme asked what you and Bella wanted to do with school."
"I think we're aiming towards finishing up Senior year this summer."
"Sounds good, then you can come work at one of the garages I'm opening. Dad is opening up a restaurant, and Billy wants to start a construction company" Since when did he start calling Sam dad?
"Dang"
"Also before you get in any kind of mood, check your bag. I saw in your dads head last patrol he removed the condoms you packed." I sigh, great.
"Thanks" I click the phone off a second after he does.
"What's the word" Bella asks sitting across from me, her mom sitting beside her.
"A few days here, then well head up that Bakery in Jersey you're always talking about. They need us back for our Summer school in about two weeks" I lie smoothly. Her mom wasn't wolf prone.
"Like that's why you're really here. Phil told me he needed to get the packs together to come help with some battle." My jaw drops.
"What" I manage.
"Phil is the alpha of the wolf pack here. He imprinted on me; said I could tell you since it smells like you imprinted on my Bella. His pack is his baseball team" I can't wrap my head around this, it seems to weird. I must be dreaming. "That's why I'm so understanding if you two want to get married, I know the feeling." She rubs Bella's shoulder.
"At least dad won't feel as bad about the break up now" Bella mutters.
"He's in on the secret"
"Kind of has to be, Dad phased right in front of him. Then there's me, Rachel's boyfriend, and Rebecca's husband."
"Dang, what is in the water up there"
"Could say the same thing about down here" She shrugs. "Wait did you say smells?" Why didn't I notice the word change out.
"Yes, when a wolf imprints it the wolf gives off a smell that links him to his mate" Phil says coming inside followed by his team or well his pack. "It gets stronger after the pair have bonded" He says raising an eye brow at us, "So when you guy do decide to bond then the smell will become stronger" Thank god he was on our side of that story.
"And then I will get grandchildren" Renee exclaims, Bella looks to me for help.
"So are you guys heading up to Washington at the end of the week as we planned or tonight?"
"We can head up tonight" Phil says, "Our imprints except for Renee are already heading up there via plane."
"My flight leaves tomorrow as noon" She declares.
"When were we going to be told about this"
"We just told you honey, no need to get your panties in a knot" She smiles at her daughter. "So ill go finish packing and you two go to the beach" She shoo's us out the door.
"Well I didn't see that one coming" I say lightly.
"Who knew hiding this secret would be so easy?"
"That's what we said about Becca… maybe we jinxed ourselves" I suggest. "So tomorrow well drive Renee to the airport then head up the coast from there to meet with the different packs.
"Oh my god" She declares looking at her phone
"What" She hands me the phone I look at the picture on the screen seeing all of La push and the Cullen's lands set up with teepees "Now that's a little racist" I laugh a little.
"Apparently all of the residents of La Push are in on the wolf secret since it now conflict with their lives, and some are renting out their houses while to go somewhere else that is safer"
"Where are you getting all of this information?"
"Emily" She said simply "Sam is so cute"
"What"
"Little Sammy" She says smiling holding up a picture of Em's baby.
"Oh good" I sigh going to sit in the sand; I don't take my shit off mainly because this place was crawling with all of Florida's shape shifter packs. Bella slips off her tee shirt so she is only in her bikini top and cargo shorts. "My eyes" I tease falling backwards into the sand "Too much white" I scream making people turn to look at us. A glare appears in her eyes when people cover their eyes to look in our direction.
"I'm not that white" I barks slapping my leg.
"OW"I whine pouting at her.
"Don't be a baby" She folds her arms over her chest glaring at me.
"I'm sorry pumpkin" I whisper crawling over to her.
"Stop Jacob you're giving my mom false hope for children" I slowly turn to look finding an ecstatic Renee jumping up and down in the house. I geez.
"Fine I won't touch you for the rest of the trip" I get up slowly and walk towards the water only to be tripped and tackles halfway there.
"But Jacob" She whines kissing my cheek.
"Fine" She smiles "You may have one kiss a day, but only on the cheek" He smile flips and I'm once again hit on the leg.
