"Baby, wake up! You're going to school today." Hanna said while tapping her son's shoulder waking him up.

"Hmmm." Carter moaned turning away from his mother.

"Carter, It's time to wake up. I promised that we are going to eat ice cream after I pick you up at Nana's when I get home from work, remember?" Hanna said shaking Carter's shoulder.

"I want ice cream but I want sleeping too." Carter said groggily with his eyes still close.

"You can sleep all you want at Nana's after school, okay? Baby, get up now please." Hanna said.

Carter sit up from lying in his single bed. "Okay, Mommy but the ice cream later, it's on." Carter said looking at his mother, still with bed head.

"Okay, Baby it's on. Good Morning, by the way." Hanna said laughing, messing her son's hair.

"Good Morning Mommy. I love you." Carter said sweetly while throwing off the covers draped around him.

"I love you too, Baby." Hanna said smiling. "You should get ready for school now. We don't want to be late, do we?" she continued.

"Don't worry, Mommy. I'm fast as lightning like Superman." Carter said getting up from the bed.

"Okay, Superman. I already prepared your things in your bag and it's in there." Hanna said pausing to point at red Cars 2 backpack in Carter's study table. "And I already picked out your clothes, I hang it in the closet. Now, let's get you in the shower first." Hanna said pushing his son out of his bedroom and into the bathroom.

When Carter is already inside the bathroom taking a shower, Hanna prepared his breakfast and his lunch box. She prepared his favorite cereal on the kitchen counter and poured him an orange juice in his Toy Story tumbler. She also made him Ham Sandwich for his lunch box. When Carter walked out of the bathroom, Hanna led him to his room to get him dressed. She helped him get dressed and feed him breakfast after.

20 minutes later...

They are finally pulling up in Carter's school. Hanna parked her car in front of the school. She unbuckled her seat belt and turn to look at his son strapped in a seat belt in the back seat of the car.

"Be good at school, Okay? Nana will pick you up later. I'll be calling her later to check on you." Hanna said.

"Okay, Mommy. Come back for me, okay? I'm going miss you today." Carter said.

"I'll just see you at Nana's house when I'm finished with work." Hanna said smiling at his son. "Let's get you out." she said before stepping out of the car. She went to open the back door and unbuckle Carter's seatbelt. She walked Carter to his classroom and bid him goodbye kissing his forehead. She waited for Carter to settle in his seat first before she walked back to her car and drive to the wedding boutique.

Caleb was sitting on the dining table in his apartment clutching a mug of black coffee. His conversation with his dad keeps ringing in his head it didn't even let him sleep easily the previous night. He doesn't know what to believe anymore. He knows that he did love Olivia but seeing Hanna again made him really confuse with his feelings.

He was startled and look up at the front door when he heard someone barge in.

"Good Morning Babe." Olivia greeted with a wide smile plastered on her face.

"Good Morning, Why are you here so early don't you have work?" Caleb said.

"I do have work today but I'll be getting our schedule from Hanna at the wedding boutique today." Olivia said leaning by the dining table near where Caleb is sitting.

"Oh, want some coffee? Have you eaten breakfast?" Caleb said standing up from his seat.

"It's fine I already grab something on my way here." Olivia said.

"Okay." Caleb said nodding. "I think we should leave now. I'll drive you to the boutique then I'm going head off to work." Caleb said walking to the living room.

"Sure, that would be great." Olivia said.

"Let's go then." Caleb said grabbing his messenger bag from the couch.

They both head out of the apartment and proceeded to Caleb's car. Caleb open the car door for Olivia for her to hop in and Caleb run back to the driver's side to hop in himself. Caleb started up the engine and started to drive to the wedding boutique.

"Hanna told me that she already scheduled a pre-nuptial photo shoot for us this coming Saturday." Olivia said starting a conversation.

"Yeah." Caleb simply responded.

"I really need to go shopping for that thing I need new dresses. Will you come with me to go shopping?" Olivia asked.

"I really don't know, Liv. This app that I am working on took much of my time and I need to get done with it and I need to present it to the board next week." Caleb said.

"Maybe, I can take Remy and Tess with me instead." Olivia said.

"Great idea." Caleb said.

They became silent for a while but the silence got interrupted by a loud ring coming from Olivia's purse.

"I think your purse is ringing." Caleb said.

"Yeah." Olivia said and search for her phone in her purse. When she found her phone, she automatically answered the call.

"Hey, Monique what's up?" Olivia greeted cheerfully. Then, her face fell.

"Oh my gosh, I forgot." she said on the phone.

"I'll be back as fast as I can." she said and end the call, putting back her phone in her purse.

"What was that about?" Caleb asked.

"It's Monique my secretary, I forgot about the proposal that I needed to present today. Is it okay if you get the schedule in the boutique and I'll just ride a cab from there to retrieve my car near your Apartment." Olivia said.

"Are you sure? I can drive you back there." Caleb said.

"No, it's fine." Olivia said.

"Okay." Caleb said.

Once Caleb parked his car in front of the boutique, Olivia gave him a quick peck on the lips and got out of the car to call a cab. He got out after her and waited for her to get into a cab before he walked inside the wedding boutique.

Caleb pushed the glass door entering the wedding boutique. He walked up to the front desk and got greeted by Lacey the receptionist.

"Good Morning, Sir. How can I help you?" Lacey said cheerfully.

"Hi, I'm here to see Hanna regarding the schedule for the preparation of my wedding." Caleb said.

"Can I have your name please?" Lacey said.

"Caleb Rivers." Caleb responded.

"Just a second, Mr. Rivers." Lacey said going through files in her computer. She printed a file and gave the paper to Caleb.

Caleb scanned through the writings on the paper and noticed it was really an organized scheduled plan up to the date of the wedding.

"Thank you but is Hanna in?" Caleb asked.

"Do you have any other concerns?" Lacey asked.

"Not much, but can I talk to her?" Caleb asked.

"Just a second, Mr. Rivers. I'll just check." Lacey said grabbing the phone.

Hanna was stacking files on her file rack on her desk when heard Lacey's voice in the intercom.

"Ms. Marin, Mr. Caleb Rivers wants to see you." Lacey said.

She was surprised. Why would Caleb wants to see her? As much as possible she really wanted to avoid him but life just sucks sometimes. You can't really plan what fate drags you into. She contemplates whether to talk to him or not but maybe he had questions regarding the schedule that she made. Professional questions won't hurt anyway. So, she picked up the phone.

"Let him in." Hanna simply said.

After few minutes, Caleb was already standing at her door frame. Hanna stands up from her seat upon seeing him.

"Hi, please come in." Hanna said in a professional tone.

"Hey." Caleb awkwardly greeted.

"Do you have questions regarding the schedule? Do you want to change something?" Hanna asked.

"Actually, no. I just wanted to talk to you." Caleb said walking closer to her desk.

"About what?" Hanna asked confused.

"Can we sit down?" Caleb said unsure yet straightforward.

"Take a seat then." Hanna said uncomfortable.

They both take a seat, Hanna on her swivel chair and Caleb on the armchair placed in front of Hanna's desk. They shared uncomfortable silence for a few seconds avoiding each other gaze.

"Go talk." Hanna said.

"I wanted to say I'm sorry for all the pain that I caused you. I was really stupid for hurting you and for not coming back for you much earlier." Caleb said looking into her eyes, sincerity evident in his voice and his features.

"It's okay, I think that's forgiven. It's all in the past now, we get to move on with our lives." Hanna said trying to act cooly but the truth is moving on with her feelings for him is the hardest. She hated to admit it but she still can't get past with her feelings for him.

Caleb smiled. "Thank you for forgiving me." Caleb said simply.

"I would like to apologize too for jumping into conclusions, I should let you explain, I should've stayed and listened but I didn't, so I'm really sorry but maybe if I didn't do what I did, you never get a chance to be with the girl that you are going to marry, the girl that you're going to spend the rest of your life with." Hanna said trying her best to make it look like what she said was easy to say but deep down her heart is crushing thinking that she's not the girl he's going to spend the rest of his life with.

Caleb became speechless of what Hanna just said. He looked at her in the eyes but she quickly avoid his gaze. He became confused again, asking himself if he really wanted to spend the rest of his life with Olivia.

"I think you should probably go now. I have things to get done in here." Hanna said standing up from her seat.

"So, Are we friends now?" Caleb asked hesitantly.

"Depends." Hanna said.

"Depends on what?" Caleb asked.

"Depends if I don't feel awkward around you anymore." Hanna said and was taken aback of what she just said. She bit her bottom lip and just looked at Caleb's face. He was amused at what she said. Hanna felt really uncomfortable of the way Caleb smiled at her.

"So, do you still feel awkward around me?" Caleb said with an amused smile plastered on his face.

"Just kidding, sure we can be friends." Hanna said awkwardly trying to smile.

"Have a great day, Friend." Caleb said flashing his uber sexy trademark smile, giving Hanna a two finger salute.

When Hanna is just alone in her office again, she paced back and forth running her fingers through her hair. She really wanted to slap herself hard for what she just say while talking to Caleb.

Spencer was about to pass Hanna's office door when she noticed her best friend walking back and forth.

"Hey Han, What's the matter?" Spencer asked standing by the door frame.

"Nothing, I'm just so stupid that's all." Hanna said in a serious funny tone.

Spencer chuckled. "What did you do?" she asked curiously.

"Caleb stopped by." Hanna said nodding facing her pregnant best friend.

"Oh." Spencer muttered. "What happened?"

"He said that he's sorry for hurting me and for everything and he wants us to be friends." Hanna said summarizing what happened.

"Wow, so what did you say?" Spencer said walking in to Hanna's office.

"I say something stupid." Hanna said looking up and closing her eyes.

"What is it?" Spencer said.

"When he asked if we can be friends, I tell him, Depends, if I don't feel awkward around you anymore." Hanna said closing her eyes again.

Spencer laughed really hard.

"Hey, you're my best friend and you're not supposed to make fun of me." Hanna said.

"Ha-ha, Sorry it's just so funny Han I can't help it." Spencer said.

"I feel so stupid and you're just laughing at me." Hanna said.

"You know, Han it's fine that you two could be friends. Like you said, you moved on and you have Penn now. And if you decided to let Carter know him it will be good if you guys are at least friends." Spencer said.

"I don't want Carter to know him, okay? I hated seeing my son gets disappointed. I don't want to feel what I felt with my dad." Hanna said.

"Okay, whatever you say." Spencer said.

Some of Caleb's staff presenting him some possible design for the app they are working on but he can't really pay attention much to it. Occasionally he will just shook his head and smiled to himself thinking about Hanna and their conversation. She still hasn't change. She's still Hanna that he loved six years ago.

"Caleb are you listening?" a tall nerdy guy with glasses whose presenting asked Caleb snapping him back to reality.

"Stan, I think the idea is good they will like it." Caleb said to the nerdy guy.

"I think we should start adding it." Stan said.

"Yeah sure." Caleb just said nodding. "I think we should go have an early lunch and work on it later." Caleb suggested.

"Okay." his staffs agreed in unison.

"I'll just catch up with you guys later." Caleb said storming out of the conference room.

Caleb was driving to the grille to have lunch and he saw Hanna buying flowers in a shop few blocks away. He parked his car in front of the flower shop and open up the windows of the car.

"Hanna!" he called out to her.

Hanna spun around and looked at his direction. "Hey!" she greeted awkwardly. "Why are you here?" Hanna asked.

"I was just heading to the grille to have lunch and I saw you. Do you want to eat lunch with me?" Caleb said.

"Not really a great idea. There's some place else I needed to be." Hanna said.

"Oh, okay." Caleb said.

"I should really go." Hanna said.

Before Caleb can reply, Hanna already rushed to her car and drove away. Caleb noticed a rectangular thing on the sidewalk where Hanna was standing awhile ago. Out of curiosity, Caleb thought it was hers. He got out of his car and picked up the wallet. He opened it and saw multiple IDs and credit cards that belongs to Hanna. He was about to close the wallet when he noticed a picture of twin babies wearing a uniformed dark blue onesie and beanie. He wonder why would Hanna put a picture of twin babies in her wallet. He closed the wallet and walked back to his car. He started the engine and drive to Apple Rose Grille. He decided to eat lunch first and just drop Hanna's wallet off in the wedding boutique after.

Hanna parked her car and got out of the car, taking the flowers she just bought. She stated to walk in a spacious pathway in the cemetery passing by different gravestones in different shape and sizes. She stopped when she finally locates the huge tree and the gravestone under it. She put the flowers in front of the gravestone with her son's name carved on it with his birth date and the date of his death.

Harbin Caleb Marin
Born: October 12, 2013
Died: January 22, 2015

Hanna smiled looking at the grave. "Hey, little warrior. Mommy is here again." She said.

"Mommy misses you so much." Hanna said fighting back tears.

"Maybe if you were with me and your brother today, we had a lot of memories for sure. Grandpa Jamie will take you both to fishing trips. You and your brother will both get to play basketball with Grandpa Ted and bake cookies with Nana Ashley. If only I got a chance to take you to school and treat you ice cream." Hanna said with tears spilling out of her eyes. "I know you don't want Mommy to cry but I just missed you Lil' warrior." Hanna sighed looking up to the sky.

"I saw your father again today. As much as possible I really wanted to avoid him, seeing him really makes me feel guiltier not telling him about you and your brother. He apologized for the things he did years ago but well even if I hated him and I'm really angry at him that time, I love him more than all that anger and hate I felt and I really hate that I still do. I still do love him even he's getting married and I have Penn now." Hanna said through her sobs.

"Mommy is really getting melodramatic these days. Harbin please guide Mommy. Continue to be my guardian angel. I love you, Baby." Hanna said wiping her tears away with the back of her hands.

"I should go now. I'll just visit you again next week." Hanna said.

She turned around and walked back to the path she took where she came earlier. She went back to her car and just sit there for awhile. What she just said in front of her son's grave keeps replaying back in her head. Realization hit her, she just admit to herself that she still love Caleb, she still love the father of her children. She really thought all of the feeling she had for him was gone the day she let herself try again with love with Penn. But well, she's wrong she is terribly wrong. She thought she finally living the life she wanted well-organized and well-planned like those wedding she worked on that turns out perfectly and just in a matter of days her life feels like a mess with the comeback of the love of her life making her feel confused, guilty and totally messed up.

She looked up at the rearview mirror inside her car and her tear stained face looks back at her. She wiped away her tears and pull out her make-up bag from her bag in the passenger seat. She fixed herself applying some make-up on and when she got satisfied she start up her car to get back to the boutique.
