"Nana, why is mommy still not here?" Carter asked Ashley while they were seated on the dining table in the Marin's house, eating dinner.
"I don't know but I'll call her." Ashley assured Carter.
"Okay," Carter said before continuing to eat his pasta.
"Maybe your Mommy is going home late, you can sleep over here and I'll take you to school tomorrow." Ted told Carter.
"I can make chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast tomorrow." Ashley said.
"Can I watch Cars before bedtime?" Carter asked.
"Sure, Nana and Grandpa will watch with you." Ted said.
"Yay!" Carter beamed.
"Now finish your food first, we'll call your mommy later." Ashley said.
Penn walked out of his hotel room heading out of the to grab some dinner. He walked through the halls of the hotel and saw Olivia walking out of her own hotel room.
"Hey, heading somewhere?" Penn said approaching her.
"Just heading out to find some place to grab some dinner, How about you?" Olivia said.
"Same," Penn said smiling. "We can go together, if you don't mind of course." he added.
"Sure, I'd love to have someone to talk to, eating alone is pretty boring." Olivia said.
"Let's go then, after you." Penn said gesturing for her to walk first. She walked first with Penn in her tail.
"Wait, do you know a place?" Olivia asked.
"I think we should ask the front desk for that." Penn said.
"Okay," Olivia said and proceeded to walk to the elevator.
Caleb woke up noticing that it's already dark outside through the window. He looked at peaceful Hanna sleeping in his arms. He smiled loving the feeling having her in his arms. He stroked her hair and leaned closer so he can smell her scent. He looked at her face for a moment taking in how beautiful she looked while sleeping. His eyes stared to her closed eyes with thick and perfectly curled up lashes, her nose, her cheeks, down to her half opened lips. Before he knows it, he leaned in and kissed her sliding his tongue into her mouth. Hanna was awakened with someone kissing her, tongue tracing and wandering into her mouth, she opened her eyes and realized Caleb was kissing her. She closed her eyes shut again moaning into his mouth responding to his kiss. She climbed on top of him and straddled him. Caleb run his fingers into her back sliding to his side finding its way to the side of her breast, moaning into her mouth. They kissed for a long time 'till they both pulled away running out of air.
"Someone's just can't get enough, huh?" Hanna said teasing with her hands on his chest pushing her head up.
"Look who's talking?" Caleb said with a playful smirk plastered on his face, his hands running along her sides.
"Aren't you hungry? it's dinner time, I think." Hanna said glancing at the window.
"I'm craving for you... More of you, actually..." Caleb said with a chuckle.
Hanna giggled. "Aww... You're too cheesy." she said leaning in to kiss him. They shared a steamy and passionate kiss leaving them both panting for breathe.
"I think you're craving for me too." Caleb said panting.
"Yes, I did." Hanna said.
"Looks like you're ready for round two." Caleb teased.
"What do you think?" Hanna said seductively pushing herself down to his body so she can kiss his neck, his shoulders, down to his chest and abs. Caleb's stomach tightened when Hanna's hands found his fully erect member. She rubbed it with her hands and kissed the head.
"Fuck, Hanna..." Caleb groaned and Hanna giggled. "Is this revenge for leaving you six years ago?" he continued to say while Hanna keeped teasing him, licking him this time.
"Don't torture me like this, you're giving me a heart attack." Caleb said again while Hanna laughed loudly. Hanna licked him once again and pushed herself up climbing out of bed.
"Let's get dressed and grab some dinner, Rivers." Hanna said standing by the foot of the bed completely naked.
"Are you kidding me?" Caleb said with a disappointed look all over his face.
"Uhm... Maybe," Hanna said picking up her dress. She turned to his buddy again and tapped it with her fingers. "Better luck next time, Buddy." she said chuckling. Caleb laughed at her standing up from the bed.
"Next time, huh?" Caleb said sliding his arms to her bare back pulling her closer to him with his erect member poking her stomach.
"Next time, now we should head out, pay for this cabin and grab some dinner." Hanna said.
"Yeah, fine." Caleb said kissing her forehead pulling away from her to pick up his clothes.
They both redressed and head out of the cabin. They walked to the path where they came earlier to the beach by the Lake. Hanna found her iPad and picked it up.
"Crap, my phone, my bag." She cursed under her breath remembering her son in her mom's house.
"What's the matter?" Caleb asked squeezing her hand.
"I need to call my mom, you should go first to the reception and pay for the cabin, I'll follow. I just need to call my mom to let her know where I am, leaving the part that I am with you of course." Hanna said looking up at him.
"And why is that?" Caleb said.
"Because I tell her that you're engaged and you're my client and she's not really a big fan of unfaithfulness." Hanna said.
"Did she like Penn?" Caleb asked.
"I don't know, maybe. They didn't see each other much." Hanna said.
"I guess, it's a point for me." Caleb said.
"Are you counting scores?" Hanna asked curiously.
"Not really, I just don't like the idea that there is someone better than me for you." Caleb said.
"I never thought you would be that possessive." Hanna commented.
"Only for you, that guy is getting on my nerves every time I see him touching you." Caleb said.
"You're jealous." Hanna said smiling widely.
"I'm not." Caleb denied.
"You are you just admitted it." Hanna said.
"No," Caleb said keep denying.
"Yes, you are." Hanna said amused.
"No," Caleb said again.
"Don't worry I'm jealous with Olivia too." Hanna said.
"You are?" Caleb asked.
"Yeah, maybe since the first time I see the two of you together at the boutique." Hanna said.
"But you are kissing Penn in front of me." Caleb said.
"Maybe it doesn't seem like it but I'm really jealous and freaking out inside seeing you that day." Hanna said.
"Okay fine, I admit it I'm really jealous. It kills me to see you with him I even wanted to rip his head off." Caleb said.
Hanna laughed. "You amazed me, Caleb Rivers." she said. She might say she loves him but she just can't get herself to say it, she needed security and assurance that he'll stay this time for her.
"I take that as a compliment." Caleb said.
"Pay for the cabin, I'll get my phone in my car." Hanna said.
"Alright," Caleb said giving her a quick peck before they go separate ways.
Hanna walked to her car in the parking lot. She opened the car through the driver's side and put down her iPad by the dashboard and grabbed her bag to search for her phone. When she locate her phone, she pulled it out and looked at the screen she got 20 missed calls all from her mom and Spencer. She called back her mom first to check on Carter.
Her mom picked it up immediately when she saw that she was calling.
"Mom," she said through the phone.
"Hanna, where are you? I've been worried sick Carter is looking for you asking why you're not here yet?" Ashley said.
"Mom, I'm okay. I'll be just working late. Can you look after Carter for tonight? Can he sleepover there? I'll just pick him up tomorrow." Hanna said.
"Of course, but he might be looking for Mr. Cuddle." Ashley said talking about Carter's favorite Teddy bear.
"Right, can you give him Cornelius Maximillian for now?" Hanna said talking about her favorite stuffed dog as a kid.
"Sure, it's still in your room." Ashley said.
"Thanks, Mom." Hanna said.
"It's alright, Honey. I love having my grandson here." Ashley said.
"Can I talk to him? Where is he?" Hanna asked.
"He's glued to the TV watching Cars with Ted." Ashley said.
"Oh," Hanna said.
"I tell him you want to talk to him." Ashley said.
"Okay," Hanna said.
"Carter, your mom wants to talk to you?" Ashley told Carter.
"Mommy?" Carter said as his eyes lit up. Ashley gave him the phone and Carter took it pressing it into his ear.
"Hi, Mommy." he greeted.
"How was my Baby doing?" Hanna asked.
"I'm fine, George and I play at school, we draw too. Grandpa and I play superheroes again when I get home and Nana cooked Phasgetti for dinner and we ate it and now we're watching Cars. Lightning McQueen is cool." Carter rambled.
"Looks like you are really having fun in there." Hanna commented.
"When are you going home Mommy?" Carter asked.
"Maybe tomorrow, Baby. Are you gonna be fine sleeping over at Nana's tonight?" Hanna said.
"It's okay but I missed you Mommy." Carter said.
"I missed you too, Baby. I'll just pick you up tomorrow and we're going to eat ice cream." Hanna said.
"Yay, I'll see you tomorrow Mommy." Carter said.
"Okay, Baby. I'll see you, be good at Nana's, okay? Goodnight Baby, I love you." Hanna said.
"Goodnight Mommy, I love you too." Carter said.
"You did that," Olivia said laughing sitting opposite to Penn. They are having dinner at a restaurant just nearby their hotel.
"Yeah, I did. We pressed doorbells and we run. My cousin even tripped while we run and hide to the bushes." Penn said smiling at her.
"You're terrible." Olivia commented.
"Yeah, I know I am." Penn said.
"I couldn't do that as a kid. My mom raced me to always act fine and sophisticated. She always think of what people will say because my dad is a mayor and everyone in town knew us." Olivia said.
"That sucks, so you're the kind of girl who are always stuck in your room playing house and barbie dolls." Penn said.
"You can say that," Olivia said. "I envy your fun childhood." she added.
"It's not all fun, my dad always expects me to be great in everything. I should always have the good grades, I should be the Team Captain of the Soccer team, I should take up business in college, all that kind of stuff." Penn confessed.
"Wow, nerdy and athletic at the same time. I'm pretty impressed." Olivia commented.
"It's not me it was the Penn that my dad wants." Penn said.
"What is the real Penn? I'm really curious to know." Olivia said.
"I tell you, when you introduce me to the real you too." Penn said.
Olivia and Penn continue to talk through their dinner, even on their way back to the hotel. Enjoying one another company, Penn walked her to her hotel room.
"This is me." Olivia said when they are already in front of her hotel room door.
"Thank you, I had a great night." Penn said truthfully, he even forgets his issues with Hanna because of Olivia.
"Me too, Thanks a lot. You've been patient listening to my boring stories unlike your fun ones." Olivia said.
"I don't think it's boring, I think it's fantastic, you're fantastic. I really had a great night because of you." Penn said smiling at her.
"I had a wonderful night too." Olivia said matching his smile. Before she knows it, Penn pressed his lips to her.
They both pulled away shocked. "Sorry, I shouldn't- I should have not done that." Penn managed to say stuttering through the process.
"Me neither, I should probably walked inside. Goodnight." Olivia said opening her hotel room.
"Goodnight," Penn said simply walking away rubbing his hands to the back of his neck.
Hanna and Caleb are sitting in the dining table by the balcony of the restaurant in the lake resort having dinner.
"I rented the cabin for us till' tomorrow morning, I was hoping that you could stay with me tonight." Caleb told Hanna.
"It's alright but I really needed to leave early, I don't want Spencer noticed my unchanged outfit from today, she'll interrogate me with questions like a cop." Hanna said.
"Can we have breakfast at least tomorrow morning?" Caleb asked.
"I'm not really sure if it's a good idea." Hanna said and Caleb's face fell. "Maybe we can do lunch." She added, lightening his mood once again.
"Great, can I pick you up at work or we'll just meet somewhere?" Caleb said smiling at her.
"Can we meet far from Rosewood? I mean, you're still with Olivia, you're still engaged to her and I'm still with Penn and I will really look bad for people seeing us out to lunch even if it's just lunch-"
"Shhh... Hanna, I get what you mean." Caleb said cutting her off. He took her hand to his and brought it closer to his lips, kissing the back of her hand. "Don't worry, okay? I mean it when I tell you that I'm going to make things right for us. I promise," Caleb said pressing the back of her hand to his face. Hanna got lost in his beautiful brown orbs as he stared back at her smiling. He can't believe that just in a matter of days since the first time he realized that he still loves her, here they are tonight in front of each other and he loved every second of it. Just staring at her and can freely touch her and hold her. His eyes and smile reminded her of Carter, their son. His eyes and smile make her feel safe and make her feel home and it feels like she finally found the missing piece in her life that can make her completely happy.
"I have to tell you something." Hanna said looking straight into his brown orbs.
