His eyes and smile reminded her of Carter, their son. His eyes and smile make her feel safe and make her feel home and it feels like she finally found the missing piece in her life that can make her completely happy.

"I have to tell you something." Hanna said looking straight into his brown orbs.

"What is it?" Caleb asked putting down her hand to the table massaging it with his thumbs.

"When we broke up 6 years ago, I got into an accident on my way to Rosewood and-"

"I'm so sorry I was such a jerk I should follow you that day." Caleb said cutting her off, shaking his head side to side. He was blaming himself for what happened to her.

"It's not your fault, I was just really devastated and I got pretty careless while driving." Hanna said.

"It's still my fault I was the reason that you're devastated." Caleb said.

"You know, somehow I was thankful for that, if not because of that accident I won't be able to find out about those precious blessings that God has given me." Hanna said.

"What are those?" Caleb asked curiously.

"Of course, my second chance in life and I also found out that-"

They were interrupted by a loud ring coming from Hanna's phone. Hanna looked at the screen.

'Incoming Call… Mom' It read...

"Sorry, I have to take this." Hanna said gesturing to her phone.

"Hello," She said pressing her phone into her ear. Her expression went shock and worried at the same time.

"What happened?" She asked on the phone.

"I'll be there as soon as I can, okay?" she said about to tear up with worry.

She hung up the phone and faced Caleb. Caleb give him a worried look.

"What happened? Who is it?" Caleb asked.

"It's my Mom. I'm really sorry, Caleb. I have to go maybe I'll see you tomorrow." Hanna said standing up.

"Hanna, what happened, really?" Caleb asked again in a serious tone standing up from his seat.

"I can't tell you right now, I needed to go. I tell you as soon as I explain you everything." Hanna said and with that she stormed out of the restaurant.

Caleb remained standing in their table. He thought maybe she needed space, knowing Hanna she doesn't want people pushing her. But his curiosity is killing him, so he pulled out a few bills from his wallet that will cover their unfinished dinner and followed after Hanna. He walked out of the restaurant and to the parking lot where she parked her car. She saw her get in and started up the engine then drove away. He ran to his car and counted up to 20 seconds before she followed on her tail. He let other motorists overtake in between their cars so Hanna won't notice that he was on her tail.

He saw her turning to the Rosewood Hospital. She parked her car as fast as she can and get out of the car running to the Emergency entrance of the hospital. Luckily, Caleb found a parking spot near her car and got out immediately still following few steps behind her. He saw her asked the reception in a panicky way.

"Hi, I'm looking for my son Carter Marin." Hanna said in a worried tone.

Caleb is surprised at what she said. 'Son… Carter Marin...' he thought.

"He has been transferred to a private room upstairs room 208." The nurse told Hanna.

Hanna then sprinted to the elevator. He still followed her and took the stairs. He run up the stairs and saw her got out of the elevator. She ran through the halls searching for room 208. He waited for her to enter and when she did. Lucky, for him she left the door ajar. He saw Ashley, Ted and his dad inside and a little boy lying on the bed. The reason why his dad is there keeps ringing in his head. He also recognized the kid from the park who hit him with a Frisbee disc.

"Mommy, it hurts so much..." The boy cried out as he laid his eyes on Hanna. Caleb noticed that the kid has a cast on his left arm and a bandage on his forehead above his right eye, probably a cut or something.

"It's okay, Baby. It will all heal sooner or later." Hanna said comforting Carter, hugging him.

"What happened?" Hanna asked her mother.

"I'm really sorry, Hanna. I went to the kitchen to get us some popcorn for the movie and I left him in the living room. He was jumping on the couch and he fell with his forehead hitting the edge of the coffee table, explaining his cut on the forehead." Ted explained.

"It's okay, Ted. This kid is a little careless at times." Hanna said messing Carter's hair.

"Carter, what did I tell you about jumping around with anything bouncy?" Hanna said tilting Carter's head.

"I'm sorry, Mommy." Carter simply said.

"It's okay now, Baby. Now get some rest so everything will heal fast." Hanna instructed and Carter lie back down in the bed.

"When you're all better, Buddy. We will go fishing again." Jamie said looking at his Grandson.

"And we will go swimming and play soccer and baseball again, Grandpa?" Carter said as his eyes lit up looking at Jamie.

"Yes, buddy. We will do all of that when you get better." Jamie said.

"We will bake cookies again." Ashley chimed in.

"Nana, will you still make chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast?" Carter asked.

"Of course, I'll take it here." Ashley said.

"Yay!" Carter squealed.

"Now follow your mommy and get some rest, we will play superheroes again when you get better." Ted said.

"Okay, Grandpa." Carter told Ted.

"Mommy, can you bring Mr. Cuddle here?" Carter asked Hanna.

"Of course, Baby. I'll get Mr. Cuddle for you. Now get some sleep first." Hanna said stroking Carter's hair.

Carter closed his eyes while his Nana and Grandpas took the seats around the bed near him. Hanna walked to the door and she was shocked to see Caleb standing there.

"Caleb, what are you doing here?" Hanna managed to say.

"Is he my child?" Caleb asked furiously.

"Caleb, please not now." Hanna pleaded.

"Is he my child?" Caleb asked again with his voice getting louder this time. All eyes turning to him,

"Caleb," Jamie said standing up from his seat.

Hanna pushed Caleb out the door, closing the door behind her.

"Is he my child?" Caleb asked again for the third time with tears about to spill out of his eyes.

"Yes." Hanna said looking down.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Caleb asked.

"I tried to tell you tonight, before I got my mom's call." Hanna explained looking up at him.

"Why not sooner? As soon as you found out your pregnant and as soon as you see me again, Why did you keep this from me?" Caleb said taking a step backward running both hands into his hair.

"I was scared, I wanted to protect him. You're getting married and I don't want Carter to experience everything that I've been through with my dad. I don't want him to get his hopes up and gets disappointed every time you can't be there for him because you are committed to a different family." Hanna said.

"That's bullshit, Hanna. You knew me, Hanna. I never had parents growing up and I don't want that to happen to my child. I don't want him to grow up not knowing me." Caleb said.

"I'm so sorry." Hanna said with a guilty look on her face. "Caleb, please let me explain." she pleaded.

"I can't do this right now." Caleb said turning away from her.

Hanna was left there standing in the hallway.

Caleb went back to his car in the parking lot. He get into the driver's seat and just seat there for a while letting tears stream down his face as he smack the steering wheel. He thought everything will be fine having Hanna again claiming her as his. He never thought that she was capable of keeping their child a secret. He might understand Hanna before when she kept tons of secret before about 'A' but keeping his child from him was huge. He doesn't want his child grow up not knowing him and he doesn't want any of his future children not knowing him also. He wanted to watch them grow, he wanted to take care of them, love them and protect them. He can't believe Hanna would really keep Carter a secret on purpose.

He started up the engine of his car and drove away heading to his apartment. He parked his car to his parking slot and went straight to the elevator heading to his floor. He opened his door and walked in slamming it shut behind him. He went to the kitchen and opened the fridge pulling out cans of beers. He plopped down on the couch putting the beer on top of the coffee table. He opened one and took a swig, hoping that drowning himself into alcohol will make him forget everything.

Hanna went back to Carter's hospital room when Caleb left. She was crying when she walked in, her mom enveloped her into a hug while Ted and Jamie gave her a concerned look. Carter was already fast asleep releasing a soft snore every once in a while.

"We'll be just outside." Jamie said looking at Ted. Ted gets what he was saying and the two guys went out of the room.

Soon as the door is closed Ashley turned to her daughter.

"What happened?" Ashley asked.

"Caleb already knows about Carter and it didn't go well. I tried to tell him earlier tonight but I got your call that Carter had an accident." Hanna explained to her mother.

"You are with him when you told me you are working late?" Ashley said.

"Yes, I'm sorry I lied." Hanna said through her sobs.

"It's okay, Honey." Ashley said rubbing her back in a soothing way.

"I slept with him." Hanna confessed. "And we kind of get back together." she added.

"Honey, he's engaged." Ashley said.

"I know that it seem wrong but we still love each other and he even promised me that he's going to call off the wedding and broke up with Olivia. Then, this whole mess happened." Hanna said.

"Hanna, don't blame this to yourself you just did what you think what is best for your son." Ashley told her. "Just give Caleb some time to think this through, give him some space, if he really loves you he will come around eventually." Ashley said wiping away tears from Hanna's face by her thumbs.

Ted and Jamie sat in the bench outside Carter's hospital room, just silently waiting for Ashley and Hanna to come out. Jamie suddenly stands up from his seat.

"Jamie, where are you going?" Ted asked.

"I have to talk some sense to my son, he doesn't know what Hanna had been through and he just can't hurt that amazing girl again." Jamie said pointing at the door.

Jamie didn't even let Ted to respond as he walked away heading out of the hospital.

He went down to the parking lot to retrieve his old chevy pick-up truck. He got in and started the engine and drove away to Caleb's apartment.

Caleb was still sitting in his couch downing almost every alcoholic drink he can find in his fridge. No matter how many cans and bottles of beers he had already drunk he still can't get Hanna off of his mind. No matter how big the secret that she kept from him, he can't get himself to hate her. He was in fact, unbelievably happy inside that he had a child with her and he was amazingly smart and talented. He might not see his resemblance to him when they met at the park but now he realized that his son looks exactly like him. He was upset with their situation but yet happy on the inside knowing he has a son. He was startled by the knock on his door. He stood up unsteady with the amount of alcohol that he had taken. He even tripped before he reached his front door.

He opened up the door and lean one hand at the door frame to steady him. He found his dad standing there.

"What are you doing here?" He hissed slurring through his words.

"I am making sure you wouldn't do the same mistake you did leaving Hanna six years ago." Jamie said.

"You knew about my son and you didn't tell me." Caleb said with raging anger pointing finger at his dad.

"I did and I didn't tell you and I expected that you would react like that." Jamie said calmly.

"How long have you known?" Caleb asked.

"Hanna was about five months pregnant when I found out, months after you cut me off of your life and she also told me that you cheated on her." Jamie explained.

"I never cheated on her and I never intend to hurt her ever." Caleb retorted.

"I was here to talk some sense to you and stop you in making the same mistake you did when you left her." Jamie said.

"How do you know if I am leaving again?" Caleb said.

"Are you leaving again?" Jamie asked back.

"Why would I do that? Knowing I have a son, I wouldn't do what you did. I won't let my son grow up not knowing me or hating me." Caleb said.

"Okay, okay, I just want you to know that, that girl who is crying right now over you, have been through a lot in her life and I can't stand watching her getting heartbroken all over again because of my son." Jamie said.

"She said she wanted to protect Carter. How can she do that by keeping him from me, huh? And why would you keep this from me too?" Caleb said yelling at his father.

"Like I said Hanna had been through a lot, you knew her father right? She wanted to protect Carter from disappointment from you, knowing you are engaged and you are soon to have a family of your own. She doesn't want Carter feel neglected like what she felt with her father. Hanna asked me to keep Carter a secret from you or she'll keep him away from me and I don't want that, I love that kid with all of my life." Jamie explained.

Caleb remained silent, now understanding where Hanna is coming from. He knows her Daddy issues since high school and it's been really hard for her, being rejected, neglected and disappointed with her father a lot of times.

"I don't know what is going on with you two but I know that you guys still love each other. Hanna loves you so much and it hurts her to see you get hurt because of her. I hope you think fast this time before it's too late and you realize you just lose her again." Jamie said patting his son's shoulder before walking away heading for the elevator.

"Dad, wait." he said finally.

Jamie immediately turned around to face him. "What is it, son?" Jamie said.

"What is Carter's favorite food?" he asked.

Jamie smiled at him widely before walking back to him.
