Hanna is sitting on her desk finishing the last of her works inside her office while she just let Carter plays on the couch on the other side of her office. Caleb walked through the door of her office without them noticing him.
"Hey Bud," Caleb said cheerfully greeting his son. Carter look up at him and his eyes instantly lit up upon seeing his dad.
"Daddy!" Carter exclaimed jumping from his seat. He ran to his dad who immediately pick him up and mess his hair.
Hanna look up from her laptop and a wide smile instantly spread across her face upon seeing him. She closed her laptop shut and stand up from her seat to walk towards them.
"Hey," She said looking at Caleb lovingly.
"Hi beautiful," Caleb said while his free hand grip her by the waist and give her a kiss on her forehead. She look up at him and they just stared at each other letting their eyes speak what they feel.
"How's your day, Daddy?" Carter asked breaking his parents staring game.
"Pretty Great, How about yours?" Caleb said smiling at his son.
"Great too, Uncle Toby and I played when he comes over and I play with Auntie Spencie too." Carter said.
"That's good, Mommy told you missed me?" Caleb said glancing at Hanna.
"I do, so can we go home now and we can play some more?" Carter said.
"That is, if your Mommy is already done with work." Caleb said glancing at Hanna.
"Almost done, you two should just wait for me outside." Hanna said.
"Okay, Let's go bud. Let's just wait for Mommy outside." Caleb told Carter.
"Let me just get my toys, Daddy." Carter said gesturing for his dad to put him down.
Carter run to the couch to collect his toys.
"I should get my work done now so we could leave." Hanna said looking up at Caleb about to walk back to her desk.
"Wait," Caleb said stopping her, pulling her by the arm.
"What?" Hanna said.
"You forget something," Caleb said with a playful grin.
Hanna knows what he meant so leaned in and pull him by the neck crashing her lips on his, giving him a sweet lingering kiss.
"Ehem, kid in here." Carter said interrupting his parents.
Hanna and Caleb pulled away laughing at him.
"Nice one, kid." Caleb commented looking at his son. Hanna smiled biting her lower lip looking at Caleb.
"You guys, should head out and I should probably get my work done in here." Hanna said.
Caleb just smiled at her leading Carter out of her office.
"Don't take too long, Mommy." Carter said.
"Alright, Baby." Hanna answered as she watched her two boys walked out the door.
Caleb sat on the long couch in the reception area in the boutique and Carter sit beside him.
"So, what do you want to do tonight, Buddy?" Caleb asked Carter.
"Can we play video games?" Carter asked.
"Sure, what do you usually play? We can go to the arcade if you like." Caleb said.
"Really? We're going to the arcade." Carter said excitedly.
"Yeah, we could play tons of games in there." Caleb said.
"You're the coolest daddy ever." Carter said jumping up to hug his dad by the neck. Caleb laughed and hugged him back.
Meanwhile, the glass doors of the boutique burst open with a surprised Olivia walking in. She never expected seeing Caleb in the boutique cuddled up with a little kid.
As Caleb and Carter pulled away from the hug, Caleb immediately notice his ex-fiancé standing by the door.
"Olivia," he said standing up.
"What are you doing here, Caleb?" Olivia said giving him a questioning look.
"Who is she, Daddy?" Carter asked tugging his father's arm.
"Daddy?" Olivia asked confused.
"Uhmm..." Caleb started struggling to find right words to say.
"I never knew you had a child." Olivia said.
"I never know I had a wonderful child too till' we met few days ago." Caleb said glancing at Carter.
"Hi daddy's friend, My name is Carter." Carter said cheerfully smiling widely at Olivia.
"Hi Carter, I'm Olivia." Olivia said introducing herself to Carter. "He looks exactly like you." Olivia told Caleb while studying Carter.
"Yeah," Caleb said slightly smiling.
"But how can you have a son? Who is his Mom?" Olivia asked confused. "Is she back?" Olivia said referring to Caleb's ex.
"Uhmm..." Caleb started figuring out a way to tell her the truth.
"Carter, you forgot your toy car in my desk." Hanna called out walking to the lobby area where Caleb and Carter is, not noticing Olivia's presence.
"Mommy, can we go already?" Carter said excitedly running to his mom.
Olivia froze in her place just staring at Carter talking to Hanna. She heard it clearly, Carter calling Hanna his Mommy. Caleb's son just called Hanna Mommy.
"Wow, I can't believe this." Olivia said when she recovered from shock.
"Olivia," Hanna said surprised looking up at her.
"Hi Hanna, I just came by to tell you that the wedding is off and I'm pretty surprised that the supposed to be my wedding planner not just knew my ex-fiancé but she also has a kid with him. This day is just getting better and better. Anyways, Have a nice day, you two." Olivia said looking at Hanna then to Caleb, and with that Olivia immediately stormed out of the boutique without looking back at them.
Caleb gave Hanna and apologetic look.
"Mommy, is Daddy's friend mad that's why she just left?" Carter asked Hanna.
"No, Baby she's not mad. It's just some adult stuff between us and you shouldn't worry about it." Hanna said stroking her son's hair.
Caleb walked towards them placing her hand on Hanna's back. "I'm sorry about that." Caleb whispered into Hanna's ear.
"It's fine, it's understandable the way she acted like that." Hanna said.
"I'm just really sorry." Caleb said.
"So, the wedding is off?" Hanna said.
"Yes, that's what I wanted to tell you. We broke up this morning." Caleb said.
"Penn and I broke up too." Hanna confessed.
"Oh," Caleb said.
"What do you mean 'Oh'?" Hanna asked.
"It means I can be stuck with you freely 'till you get tired of me." Caleb said.
"Whatever," Hanna said.
"Mommy, Daddy, can we leave now, please?" Carter said impatiently.
"Fine, we're leaving. Let me just get my bag." Hanna said.
Olivia sat alone in a farthest booth at The Brew just staring at her untouched cup of coffee. She kept on replaying the things that just happened the whole day, realizing how messed up her day had been. First, breaking up with her fiancé that of course leads to calling off their wedding, Second, finding out that her ex-fiancé has a son, and Lastly, finding out that her supposedly their wedding planner turns out to be her ex-fiancé's child's mother. She felt angry and betrayed. Her mind kept over thinking of all her hate and anger, failing to notice a tall tanned guy with broad shoulders and dark sexy eyes approaching her.
"Hey Olivia," Penn greeted casually, snapping her back to reality.
Olivia looked up at him disoriented. "Hi," she said expressionless.
"Are you okay? Is there something wrong?" Penn asked concerned studying Olivia.
"I'm fine," Olivia said trying her best to convince him.
"Doesn't look like it." Penn said.
Olivia sighed. "Okay, I'm not. Will you join me? I really need someone right now." she said.
"I would really join you even without you asking." Penn said taking a sit in front of her.
"Thank you." Olivia said smiling slightly at him.
"So, what is it?" Penn asked leaning in to hear her closely.
Olivia sighed before she tell the summary of all the horrible things that happened with her day and he just listened to her without interrupting, commenting or judging her that Olivia had been grateful for. After she told him everything, he shared what he thinks and they carried on talking till' he make her forget about the anger and betrayal she felt. Their conversation gets lighter and they eventually just talk about random stuffs and laughed in few jokes.
A chapter in their life might ended badly on that day but there is a wonderful new beginning coming there way to make those bad episodes in their lives fade away into thin air.
After Hancan' Caleb and Carter's fun bond date that night, going to the arcade, going to a movie and eating dinner together. They all went home in Hanna's apartment. Carter is already passed out in the car on their way home and Caleb took him to his room and change him to his PJ's while Hanna waited for him in the living room flipping through channels on the tv.
"So, what do you wanna do now, Princess?" Caleb asked Hanna as he walked out of Carter's bedroom.
"I don't know, you can just sit with me. We can watch some movie or something." Hanna said. patting the space beside her.
"I'm guessing that you just wanted to cuddle with me like Teddy Bears." Caleb said with his sexy smirk.
Hanna giggled. "Say it again," she commanded.
"What?" Caleb said acting innocent walking closer to her
"You know I love hearing it." Hanna said smiling at him.
"No way, you'll just laugh at my face." Caleb said sitting next to her with a playful smirk plastered on his face.
"Please..." Hanna said with a puppy dog eyes that she knew he can't resist.
"No," Caleb said shaking his head but he's in a verge of giving in.
"Please, don't torture me." Hanna said with her puppy dog eyes still plastered on her face.
"Teddy Bears," Caleb said giving in. Hanna laughed and moved closer to him putting her head on his shoulder, Caleb then put his arm on her back pulling her closer.
"Now, Let's just find something to watch." She said continuing on flipping channels.
"I love you so much, Hanna Marin." Caleb said placing a kiss on top of her head.
"I love you too, Caleb Rivers." Hanna said sincerely looking up at him.
"I felt relieved we're finally free to be together. You're all mine and I'm all yours." Caleb said.
Hanna smiled at him and snuggled to him much closer. They just stayed like that watching tv but none of them paid attention much to what they are watching. They just enjoyed the silence and the fact that they are together and in each others arms.
"Will you say yes if I ask you to marry me?" Caleb absentmindedly asked. Hanna smiled and blushed but doesn't dare to look up at him.
"You just have to try and find out." Hanna said mysteriously.
"If I do, it's gonna be epic and you can't find reasons to say no or run away from me. That's for sure." Caleb said kissing the top of her head.
Really sorry if this chapter takes forever to be uploaded, I just got really busy looking for a job and can't seem to find my perfect match yet... Anyways, Thanks for all the reviews you guys really rocks... I really hope I can write much faster...
