Chapter 11:

Sonic had been brought to the hosptil the next morning. A gardner found him gasping for air. Sonic was in unstable contains,he had four broken ribs,a broken arm,head truma, and he was in a coma. Sally was beside herself,she kept pacing the floor prating that her boyfriend is okay. She was surrounded by her friends Fionna, Rosy, Silver, and Tails.

"My god, who could of done this to him?!" Cried Sally as a tear dropped from her checks.

"A person said two gang members jumped him on the football field." Tails said. Suddenly a doctor flew out of the giant swinging doors. Sally looked at the doctor and started bursting into tears.

"How is he. Is he okay?Will he live?!" Cried Sally.

"Ms. Acorn he will be okay. He'll be in a coma for a couple of weeks. We're going to keep tabs with him." the doctor explained.

"Thank you!" Sally said as she hugged the doctor.

Shadow's house: 3:50pm:

~And in other news a young hedgehog football player from Emerald High got jumped on the football field. His name is Sonic the Hedgehog,he's 19 years old. He is in the hospital with several injuries. We do not know who the criminals were but all we know is that they were in a gang called G.U.N. As one of the masks were left behind. I'm Alice Fox,have a nice day.

Shadow turned off his T.V. and plopped down on his couch. He heard the water stop in the kitchen where Amy was. He knew that she heard about what happened to Sonic on the radio. He laid his hand on his forehead and rubbed it.

"Rose? You okay?

"Y-yeah..."sighed Amy. Shadow knew she wasn't.

"Babe, your looking down, are you sure your okay?" Shadow asked with concern.

"I just over heard what happened to Sonic. How could someone do that to him?"

"I thought you hated him babe?" Shadow asked.

"I do but he's still my friend. Who do you know from G.U.N.?"asked Amy. Shadow looked up in concern.

"No one Rose, remember I left about a month ago." Shadow said with an annoyed face.

"Oh yeah. Sorry. Still thought why would someone do that?"

"Amy... I think he dervess what he's done to you for the past months." Shadow said as he put his hand on his eyes. Amy couldn't believe that Shadow would say that about Sonic.

"Look Shadow, I know you hate him but at least show some pride in your team mate!" Yelled Amy. Amy stormed off leaving his sight. Shadow quickly let go of his eyes and looked to see her slam the front door and headed to her car. He knew he shouldn't have said that to her, he knows how upset she gets. He jumped up and rushed for the door hoping that he wasn't too late.

"AMY! Amy! I'm sorry I said that!" Shadow yelled as he stopped her from opening her car door. He saw the tears flowing off her cheeks.

"Amy I'm sorry." Shadow said to her as he wiped some of her tears away. "I didn't mean to."

"Shadow...he's been my friend since...since.. he met my father! Now that he almost died,it made me upset." Sobbed Amy.

"I know he was." Shadow said as he hugged her and leaning Amy towards his chest."I'm sorry" Amy buried her face in Shadow's arms and sobbed. Shadow felt bad for her, he lifted her head and gently wiped a tear off her soft pink cheek. He laid his hand on her face and kissed her deeply. Amy face grew hot red.

"Now why don't we go out to a movie or something to cheer you up?" Comfort Shadow.

"Sure okay." Amy said.
