SupernalGodzilla: Well thank you, I'm very glad that you enjoy my story so much.
Gamera68: As much as I love the anime I have to agree with you. There were several occasions when I thought some serious fighting was about to go down, only for it to end in less than two minutes, and sometimes it went on a bit longer than that, but nevertheless it was quite disappointing when you get hyped up for a fight and it ends in a pretty anticlimactic way, such as Kuyo's and Issa's fights. Anyway thank you again. And I'll do my best to keep it up, all I ask is that you continue to read, enjoy and review. :)
Also for anyone who has questions about certain things that happen within this chapter/episode, they should be answered in the next chapter, if they aren't then by all means send them to me in a private message and I'll do my best to answer them.
Anyway, here's chapter three/episode three of season four. Please read, enjoy and review.
Kurumu lie on a large grey pedestal that was in the school director's office, said monster, as well as Vladimir, Ruby, Moka and Yukari stood around this object as the only one of them with sunglasses finished explaining the situation. Before the Headmaster could respond though, Tsukune, Kokoa and Mizore entered the room.
Tsukune was still shirtless and Mizore still seemed unfazed by the situation, Kokoa however was finally looking up from her shoes, so everyone in the room knew something happened.
Tsukune was the first to speak, "Is she doing any better?"
Vladimir shook his head, "I'm afraid not, I just finished explaining the situation to the Director however, so perhaps he knows of a way to help her."
Even as the Director nodded, it was still impossible to see his face because of his hood casting a shadow over it. "Indeed I do. It was very lucky that you decided to try me boy, because while it is dangerous, I do have a way to help the young girl."
As the three teenagers approached the others their age, as well as their two seniors, Tsukune asked, "Dangerous? How is it dangerous?"
"Everything that works is dangerous kid."
Tsukune couldn't keep the bewildered expression off his face as he asked, "Just what does that mean?"
The school Director shook his head, "Forget it. When I say dangerous, I mean the only thing I can do to help her can do more than just that, it can also bring her harm as well as the other person it's linked to."
Before anyone could ask the obvious question, the Director answered it, "What I mean by that is that to help her, I'm going to have to send someone into the deepest depths of her mind. And in doing so puts not only the girl's life in even graver danger, but also threatens the life of whoever attempts to do this. This person would have to be you boy, since you're her destined mate you'll be the easiest to send in, since using anyone else might put too much strain on her mind right now."
Tsukune's bewildered expression was gone and his concern and desperation showing through once more as he asked, "Just how much danger would this put Kurumu in?"
The Headmaster looked directly at Tsukune before answering, "A great deal, one slip up in there and you could leave her brain dead, which isn't much different than the state she's already in, or it could cause such a shock within her system that her heart would stop altogether, speeding up the process it's in the middle of right now, directly to the end result. However at this point you have no other choice boy, it's either giving her a small chance to live, but putting your life on the line as well, or leaving her to her certain death."
Silence reigned for several seconds, before Tsukune made his decision. "If that's the only way to save Kurumu, then I have no choice...let's do it."
There were objections from three of the five conscious girls in the room, those being Moka, Yukari and Ruby, all three insisting there had to be another way. However Tsukune paid them no heed as he went around the pedestal to the school Director.
Mizore and Kokoa kept their objections to themselves, only because they knew more than the others just how broken up over this Tsukune was.
As Tsukune came to a stop just a few inches from the Headmaster, he could've sworn he saw a grin on his face, even with it being covered in the shadow of his hood.
"Alright then, lie on the pedestal with the girl so that we may begin."
"Right."
The young man did just as the Director asked, he proceeded to lie down on the pedestal beside the young succubus, however that wasn't good enough.
"This will be a lot easier if you two are already connected in some manner, so it would be best for you to ensure contact between your bodies before I begin."
Tsukune, too worried for Kurumu's life, did just as the Director said without an ounce of hesitation or embarrassment.
He rolled onto his side, before rolling Kurumu onto her side with her face towards him. He pulled her close and leaned forward so his forehead made direct contact with hers, which only caused a light blush to surface on his face.
"Perfect. Now just relax and clear your mind of any thoughts, with the sole exception of the ones about the young girl that you now lie with."
As Tsukune did as the Director instructed, Moka, Kokoa, Mizore, Ruby and Yukari all couldn't help but shiver from the tingling sensation that went down their spines, courtesy of the Headmaster's incredibly powerful monster energy beginning to fluctuate as he called it forth.
Vladimir too was overwhelmed, he was just better at hiding it than the girls were.
As The Director's monster energy continued to fluctuate as he brought more and more of it out, it began to show. It started out as a thin outline of his body, but as seconds passed it began to spread out over the area as it grew larger. The color of it was grey, but as it continued to accumulate the color began to grow darker, until it eventually turned ebony.
That's when he spoke, "Now close your eyes and picture the young succubus's body in it's current state, in your head, and then block out everything else, your thoughts, and all the sounds around you, including your own heartbeat."
That's when the all the monster energy that was emanating from the Director began to cover Tsukune and Kurumu, which in turn had the former slowly losing consciousness. The Headmaster's monster energy continued to blanket Tsukune and Kurumu for another minute until...
Tsukune's eyes were closed and yet he knew all too well he was losing consciousness as he felt all of his senses dulling, until he felt and heard nothing.
A little girl of barely four with light blue hair was on the brink of tears as her Father screamed in her face, her hand gripped tightly in his, "I thought I told you not to bother me!?"
As the tears began to fall from her face the girl spoke, her sentence broken when she sobbed in between her words, "But Daddy, I just wanted to spend time with you."
"Just get out of my face before I really give you something to cry about!"
The little girl's Father yanked her towards him, before walking past her.
This time the four year old made no attempt to follow, that being the thing that had gotten her into trouble in the first place. She knew her Dad was in a bad mood, that's why she was going to try and cheer him up but she hadn't expected this outcome.
As he continued to walk away her sobs began to grow more frequent as the pace of her tears increased.
The same little girl now stood with her hands behind her back, resting up against the left wall of a doorway, which led into the living room. Where her Parents were currently fighting.
The girl looked about a year older, but what was really eye catching was the frown she wore. It looked as if it was there on a regular basis, what with the way it seemed to fit so well. It wasn't a scowl yet, but one day it would be. That was most likely because of what was going on with her Father though. Speaking of which, the young girl was currently listening to him and her Mother as they argued...
"How many times are you going to keep repeating this bullshit to me!? I'm a grown man, I don't need to be lectured like some child""
"Well you sure could have fooled me! Because I don't know one man who would treat his daughter as bad as you do, always screaming at her and verbally abusing her, and for what!? Because your frustrated sexually!? Because we had another fight!? Because you had a bad day!? Or simply because you felt like it!? So far I've seen you do so for everyone of those reasons! Your nothing but a no good bastard Sanji!"
"Keep talking like that cunt, and just watch what happens!"
"You don't scare me, your nothing remember!? Your only human, you couldn't possibly hurt me!"
The little girl couldn't see what happened next, all she knew was that she heard a weird sound and her mother stopped shouting.
"Not bad for a human huh!? You need to learn to keep your trap shut Ageha, otherwise you'll wind up in a world of pain!"
Only a few seconds after that Ageha entered the hallway the little girl was in, and she could see that the older blue haired woman had a bit of blood leaking from the right corner of her mouth. When she saw the little girl her eyes widened considerably, and she quickly wiped away the blood she had leaking down her chin. "Honey, what are you doing out here? I thought you were in your room."
The girl wasted no time in responding, "I wanted to get some ice cream, but you were busy with Daddy, so I've been waiting."
Ageha sighed at that, before bending down and smiling at the little girl as she said, "Come on Kurumu honey, turn that frown upside down and we'll go get you your ice cream."
A six year old Kurumu stood in front of her Father, who was belligerent once more because of his anger. She had to look up at him of course, since she was nothing but a child. While not intimidating by normal standards, to a child he was indeed so.
He stood five ten, he had curly blonde hair, green eyes and had a five'o clock shadow. Today he wore a short sleeved light blue shirt, as well as some grey slacks and some white sneakers
The reason Kurumu was even in this situation was because she had been playing with her wings and tail, and when he found her doing so he was pissed, just like every other time he caught her doing so. "Just how many times have I told you not to have those things out when I'm home!?"
"But I was just playing when they popped out on accident, I promise."
"Don't you lie to me you little brat! We both know this is nowhere near the first time I've caught you playing with those things while I'm home, keep them tucked away while I'm here, what is so hard to understand about that!?"
"But I don't understand why, Momma said that my wings and tail are nothing to be ashamed of. She said that every succubus has them."
"I don't give a fuck what your bitch of a mother has to say! Their nothing but eyesores and you will keep them put up!"
"But Momma said-"
Before Kurumu could even say the next word in her sentence, Sanji's hand came flying and slapped her full force across the face. The resounding smack was only drowned out by her father's voice, "'But Momma said', 'But Momma said', I already told you that I don't care what she has to say! I am your father, and you will do as I say!"
As the huge red mark on the right side of her face continued to sting, tears started to fall. She looked Sanji in his eyes as she said, "I hate you, I wish I had a different dad, because no one could be worse than you!"
This served to add fuel to the fire, "Why you insolent little bitch!"
Even through her blurry vision, thanks to her tears, she could see him cocking his left arm back as he screamed at her, and yet she felt almost rooted to the spot even as she knew what was coming next. He shot his left arm forward and slammed his left fist as hard as he could into the right side of her face, knocking her to the ground and causing her to roll several feet.
Silence followed, but only for a few moments.
"Kurumu!?"
Sanji's head turned so fast to the left he almost got whiplash, and there standing in the doorway to the living room was Ageha, who had just gotten home.
And the last thing she wanted to see when she got home was this. Kurumu lie on her stomach on the floor, her face looking towards her mother, which allowed her to see that several of her teeth had been knocked out and her mouth was almost full to the brim with blood, as well as the nasty bruise that was now forming on her face from where she had been hit twice. And then her half lidded eyes told Ageha that her baby was conscious, but only barely.
She wasted no time in rushing to her daughter's side and checking her over. She had a pulse and she was warm, as was her blood, so that meant this had just happened. And just like that Ageha was on her feet, when she turned to Sanji her claws were out and her eyes were full of rage. "You sunuva bitch! I'll kill you!"
It was like someone had flipped the kill switch, because the same woman who would take this bastard's abuse was gone and a rage filled mother was in her place, and that meant one thing, Sanji would die tonight.
That's when Kurumu lost consciousness.
When the six year old succubus regained consciousness, she realized she was in her mother's arms, while lying on her lap. Her mother's upper half was almost entirely covered in blood, it didn't take more than a few moments for her to realize why. "You killed him?"
As Ageha realized her daughter was awake she looked down at her before replying, "Yes I did, I'm sorry that he even got to lay a single finger on you baby. I should have taken care of him years ago."
As Kurumu tried to look away from her mother, so as to see what remained of her so called father, Ageha used her right hand to force her daughter to look back at her. "You don't need to see that sweetie, just know that he'll never hurt you again, I made sure of it."
Fresh tears began to roll down Kurumu's face as she spoke, "Is every man like that Momma?"
"No, no, no, no, no, of course not baby. There are a few, a very special few that we succubi know as our destined ones, they are very special men, one for each of us succubi, and they are the best beings this world can offer. Their always kind and caring, and they love their girl more than anything else in the world, if you ever meet your destined one baby, don't ever let him go. He should be more important to you than anything else, if your mother had continued chasing after her destined one instead of going after one boy or another, you would have had a father that loved you and cared for you. Please promise your mother that you won't make the same mistake."
"I promise Momma."
Tsukune fell to his knees as he tried to keep himself from vomiting, that experience had just made him very queasy. Every time he moved from one memory to the other it unsettled not only his equilibrium but his stomach as well.
After successfully keeping his dinner down, he managed to get to his feet. Once he was standing erect, he couldn't help but rub his aching head as he thought to himself, "Did I just experience some of Kurumu's memories? Freaky. Poor Kurumu, I never knew, no wonder she was so upset when she found out I was human."
That's when Tsukune realized he was surrounded by nothing more than blackness, and it had to be blackness and not darkness since he could see his hands and feet just fine. As he looked all around he spoke to himself, "Now where am I?"
He of course got no answer. So, deciding that standing around wouldn't do him any good Tsukune began to move forward. He couldn't see anything on the horizon, no matter which directing he looked, so he thought it best to just head straight for now.
He did this for several minutes with no change, and yet as he continued to move forward he felt drawn to the direction he was going. And eventually he could see a white light on the horizon, and with not much of a choice and Kurumu's life on the line, Tsukune wasted no time and rushing full speed towards it. He got closer and closer until he penetrated said light, it proceeded to blind him, and somehow cause his ears to start ringing. And as he pushed farther and farther into it, he felt his hold on consciousness slipping, but before it slipped too far, he recognized the weird feeling of moving through a memory as his body began to tingle slightly, "Oh man, not this again."
And then darkness...
Kurumu was in a near catatonic state as she left the room where the security committee had her and as she walked down the halls of Yokai academy, not even bothering to watch where she was going, letting her body take her to the newspaper club on sheer muscle memory alone, while she was lost in her thoughts. "How could he be human? Tsukune of all people, human? How is that even possible!? He's so kind, so caring, so sweet, so...so...everything that bastard wasn't!"
The last image of Sanji while he was alive appeared in Kurumu's mind's eye, and then Tsukune's image was laid over it. "No! No! No! No No! That's all wrong, they're complete opposites, even in appearance!"
Kurumu's mind was at war with her heart at this point and she knew it, "So he's human, does it really matter? Monsters of the same race always differ from one and other, surely humans are the same. So I should still love him...right?"
The young succubus searched for that answer deep within her heart, "Do I still love Tsukune, even knowing that he's a human?"
It took several long seconds for her to attain the answer, but she did get it. "Yes, I really do love him, human or not. But that doesn't change the fact that he lied to me!"
Kurumu sat in her room, her shoes discarded, lying under her bed, as she lied on top of it, staring up at the ceiling while thinking over everything that had happened today. Her mother was supposed to be leaving soon since parents day was over, she was going to see her off in a few minutes, she had just stopped by her room to relax for a little bit.
Kurumu's attention was drawn to her door as someone knocked a few times on it, not sure who to expect she got off her bed and made her way over to it, before opening it with a bit of curiosity for who it'd be. It was actually her mother, which did surprise Kurumu. Nevertheless she let her in before closing the door. She led her to the bed and they both took a seat, and then they began to talk, Ageha was the one to start the conversation. "So you've really found you're destined one huh?"
Kurumu gave a small smile at that before responding, "Yeah, I really have. I love him more than anything, and I couldn't go a day without him, I know he's the one."
Ageha smiled in return as she replied, "That's absolutely wonderful."
Silence then made itself known for several moments, before Ageha spoke once more, her smile gone. "You've got some competition though, and while no girl is better than you sweetie, every other girl interested in your destined one raises the probability of rejection, and opens the possibility of you dying because someone stole him from you. Are you worried about that?"
Kurumu tried to keep her cool, but it was obvious to her mother that she was now trying to fight back tears as she replied, "I am. I've tried to win Tsukune over, but nothing's worked so far. I've tried my powers, I've tried using my body, I've tried the old go through the stomach to get to the heart thing, I've tried everything I could think of, but nothing wins him over. I just don't know what to do, I love him so much, I can't bare the thought of him being someone else's."
Halfway through Kurumu began to sob as her tears broke free and began to come down.
Ageha pulled her daughter into a comforting embrace, stroking her hair as she spoke comforting words as well.
After a few minutes, when Kurumu was mostly calmed down, Ageha spoke once more. "If you're that scared of losing him, then he really is your destined one, and in that case there's something I'm going to give you, as a last resort."
The older succubus pulled away and stood up after that, but as she did the younger one asked, "Last resort, what do you mean by 'Last resort'?"
"I mean that I'm about to teach you a charm that is so old and so powerful, that only myself and a handful of other succubi know it even exists. It was created as a last resort for obtaining one's destined mate, and it can only be used once in your lifetime, so be careful."
"But Mom I already told you, Tsukune was able to resist even my strongest charms, what if he just breaks this one too?"
A sly smirk came over Ageha's face as she replied, "Don't worry about that Kurumu, this thing could bring a dark lord to his knees, even if only for a while. So with Tsukune it should not only work, but make him your's for eternity. The only way this charm will break, is if the caster themselves wills it to. Now then, let's begin."
Kurumu stood just outside, in between the boys dorm and the girls dorm. She was looking up at Tsukune's window, which he was currently looking out of. He had just waved to Moka, who had just turned out her light to go to sleep after waving back.
It had been a few hours since they returned from their skiing trip, and Kurumu was feeling desperate and vulnerable. Mizore had just tried to steal Tsukune away a few hours ago, and while she didn't exactly come close, it was still farther than she usually got. She hadn't had anymore success than when her mother had given her this charm, so she decided now was the time to use it. So before Tsukune could close his window she let her wings loose and she flew up to his window, quite fast.
Tsukune fell back in surprise and hit his head hard on the floor, which Kurumu used to her advantage so as to let her slip into his room and close the window. By the time he was on his feet she was ready. "Ow, Kurumu what was that all abou-"
Before he could finish his sentence Kurumu activated the charm, causing red rings of monster energy to emanate from the center of each of her eyes. "Morrigan's Charm."
Tsukune's eyes glazed over in response, showing the young succubus that the charm had at least taken effect.
But just to make sure Kurumu decided to test it out. "Tsukune, say you love me."
With no visible signs that he heard the order Kurumu thought she would have to give it once more, but as he spoke she knew it had worked, "I love you Kurumu."
Kurumu couldn't help but jump for joy, "Yahoo-hoo! It worked!"
The young succubus was so happy as she did her little happy dance, her tail doing it's own happy dance as well, she failed to notice just how monotone Tsukune;s voice was as he said that.
Several minutes later...
Kurumu had just managed to sneak Tsukune into her room, and as she locked her door she couldn't help but begin giggling. She now had Tsukune all to herself, and he would be hers forever. "We can reenact every wet dream he's ever had, and then we can get married then we'll get to have kids and raise them, he'll be a great father and I'll be a great mother, and we'll live happily and it'll all be perfect!"
Kurumu was once again doing a little happy dance, her tail doing it's own as well.
Tsukune just stood by her bed, stoic, his eyes also making him look dazed and confused.
When Kurumu calmed down enough to have some fun with Tsukune, she walked over to his bed and then proceeded to have him say everything she ever wanted to hear come out of his mouth.
"I love you Kurumu."
"Stop drinking my blood you vampire bitch."
"Get lost flat chest."
"Your creepy and you need to leave me alone you snow bitch."
"Your too old for me, so hit the bricks you crazy witch."
"None of you will ever be as good as my Kurumu."
However with every word out of his mouth Kurumu realized just how much those things went against everything Tsukune was, not to mention the dispassionate way he kept speaking also really took the pleasure out of it. This wasn't what she wanted, she wanted Tsukune, not some mindless drone who did whatever she said. And as she came to the realization that with this charm that's all she would ever get, she began to cry.
She sat on her bed and cried for over a minute, and yet even with Tsukune right in front of her, he made no move to comfort her. "And it's all because of this stupid charm! Even if he didn't feel for me what I feel for him, he would at least try and cheer me up, unlike this damn drone I have in front of me!"
As sobs began to rack her body, Kurumu came to a decision. With her vision blurry she did her best to look Tsukune in his eyes, before giving him one more order. "Tsukune in the morning you will go back to your room and lie down and close your eyes, and when you do this charm will be broken. You won't remember anything that happened after waving to Moka tonight, so all I want you to do until morning is hold me."
"Yes Kurumu."
With that Tsukune climbed into her bed, and she lied down with him and curled up to him and had him hold her as she cried her eyes out.
And in the morning he was gone and everything went back to normal.
It was almost dark out, the sun barely still visible on the horizon as Kurumu made her way across the main courtyard, heading towards the boys dorm. Before she could get there though, she was cut off by the last person she expected to do so, Kokoa. And as she tried to move past her, the red headed vampire continued to move and block her path.
After several attempts to get past her Kurumu's annoyance and frustration showed as she nearly shouted, "What the hell is your problem!?"
Kokoa, a scowl on her face, replied almost immediately, "You are, you and the rest of those dumb broads that is. After learning about what those three losers did to Tsukune, I started to dig into what else you stupid bitches failed to protect him from, and the list goes on and on. None of you deserve to be with him."
Kurumu had to bite her tongue hard to keep from screaming at Kokoa for what she had just said, while also trying to calm herself down with her thoughts, "This stupid bitch doesn't know what she's talking about, just ignore her, just ignore her, just ignore her!"
And yet that still didn't keep her from screaming at her, "And what the hell do you know!? You weren't there to protect him, because he didn't even know you existed until a year ago!"
Kokoa's scowl grew at that, "That may be true, but at least I didn't abandon him."
Kurumu was in Kokoa's face in an instant, her long claws out and at the ready. "What did you just say!? I never abandoned Tsukune!"
"I talked to my sister, my real sister, and she told me everything, including the time where you and the snow bitch abandoned him because you found out he was human. Tsukune deserves someone better than that, someone who won't abandon him just because he's different."
"You bitch!"
Kurumu then tried to impale Kokoa's face with her right set of claws, which the vampire stepped to the left to avoid. But that didn't stop Kurumu from trying to stab her once more, and when she dodged she tried again and again. As Kurumu tried to gut her, and Kokoa continued to dodge, the young succubus tried to defend her actions. "Tsukune and Moka lied to me, kept the fact that he was human a secret, they betrayed my trust! I was upset, I wasn't thinking, but I did come back for him!"
What Kurumu didn't say was, "I was stupid, I was too busy comparing him to that bastard Sanji! And by the time I was sure of everything, things had spiraled even further out of control!"
That's when Kokoa's voice began to rise in volume, her anger starting to show, "And you were almost too late! If it had just been you Tsukune would have died!"
Kurumu's attacks became even more frantic at that point and tears began to fall as well, "That's not true!"
"And haven't you ever wondered why Tsukune didn't tell you his secret!? It's because he didn't trust you, he thought you'd turn your back on him if you knew he was human, and that's exactly what you did! And what does he do!? He forgives you! But you don't deserve it! Not his trust, or his love!"
That's when Kokoa decided to fight back, so as quick and as hard as she could she slammed her right foot into Kurumu's gut, causing her to cease attacking, double over in pain and spit up some blood. As she was on her knees Kokoa spoke to her once more, "I can't stand pathetic beings like you."
Kurumu didn't even attempt to get to her feet as Kokoa walked away, she just broke down and began to cry her eyes out as her mind raced and her thoughts whirled, "Why!? Why is this happening!? It's not fair! I tried, I tried so hard to be good enough! But damn it, she's right! In the end I betrayed Tsukune when he needed me most! I really don't deserve him! But he's all I want in this world! It's not fair!"
As the pain of Kokoa's kick finally subsided Kurumu got to her feet, before sprouting her wings and racing to her room where she would continue to stir in her newly found misery.
Tsukune was once more on his knees, surrounded by...white, while dry heaving. Once again though he successfully kept it down. However he stayed on his knees somewhat longer this time, his head still spinning from his recent memory hopping experience. As the fuzz continued to clear from his mind though, he realized he was surrounded by white instead of black. Behind him, to the left of him and to the right of him there was nothing as far as the eye can see, however no more than thirty feet in front of him was Kurumu, lying on her back, looking almost like an angel with all the white surrounding her.
Tsukune's eyes then drifted down to his hands, where his teardrops were crashing down onto them, making him realize that he was crying. "Kurumu, I'm so sorry. It's my fault your like this. I could have prevented this, if only I had done something, if only I had taken better care of you girls, then none of this would have ever happened."
Halfway through Tsukune's small speech, a black mist forced it's way out of Kurumu's chest, somehow leaving no damage, almost as if it had fazed through. It hovered over her for a second, before splitting into two and moving several feet forward, one of them going somewhat to the left, the other going somewhat to the right. And as Tsukune was almost finished speaking the two black shrouds began to form into two separate entities. The young man was able to see this as all of it happened though. He would have questioned it, but he had experienced so many crazy things at this point he just accepted it, too preoccupied with saving Kurumu to care.
Tsukune slowly rose to his feet as he finished speaking, "But I swear I won't let you down this time, no matter what I will save you!"
The two entities were now fully formed, one in the shape of Sanji, and the other in the shape of Tsukune himself. They stood still and stoic, obviously intent on keeping Tsukune from getting to Kurumu. However Tsukune was in no mood for it, his holy lock already glowing brightly as he summoned his monster energy rapidly and siphoned it into his bloodstream, as he charged toward them.
After a second the shadows started charging toward Tsukune as well, all three met head on with only twelve feet between them and Kurumu.
Tsukune moved just enough for the shadow version of himself's punch to barely miss, which the young man capitalized on and grabbed ahold of the shadows forearm with his left hand, while catching the shadow Sanji's punch with his right hand, stopping it in it's tracks. He then proceeded to kick shadow Sanji where his solar plexus would be, forcing him to double over in pain, the young man letting go of his arm as he did so. He then brought his right arm back before shooting it forward, ramming it full force into the left side of his shadow copy's head, knocking him to the ground and causing him to roll for a few feet.
Tsukune turned to defend himself from shadow Sanji, but he was too late as it buried it's fist into his gut, almost causing him to hock up some blood, just almost though. Before it could remove it's fist though Tsukune grabbed ahold of it with both hands, and before the shadow being could even try and wriggle out of the young man's grasp, he brought his right knee up as hard as he could, slamming it directly into the entity's jaw. The shadow's head jerked upward, but he didn't stumble back since Tsukune still had a hold of his right arm.
Before it could recover from the attack, Tsukune brought his right arm back for another punch, leaving only his left hand gripping Sanji's right arm. The young man focused a small portion of monster energy solely into this punch, so when his fist came flying the blow would definitely have an effect.
Tsukune shot his right arm forward and rammed his right fist into the shadow being's throat, however instead of the hard impact the young man was expecting, his fist ripped right through it's neck. His eyes widened a good deal at the visage that was before him, with his hand through the thing's neck, creating a hole in it with his fist sticking out the other side, covered in a black substance that felt and looked a lot like blood, even if it was black. The whole thing made images of all the blood he had on his hands after killing Raiden appear in his mind's eye once more, and it caused him to hesitate, and then that image was replaced by the image of him exactly like this, but with the real Sanji on the other end instead of a shadow, which caused him to freeze up.
He stood there with his fist sticking out the other side of the shadow being's neck for several moments, his eyes on the shadow Sanji, but really seeing a person in front of him with flesh and bone, and blood, that his right hand and wrist were now covered in. This caused Tsukune to feel sick to his stomach, but at the same time, another part of him derived pleasure from the image in his head, not of the fact that he had killed, but the fact of who he killed, and this part of him wasn't his ghoul side.
Tsukune had hated Sanji since the first memory he saw of him, but by the time he was done with all the memories, he was counted among the people he truly hated above all else, and with the inclusion of Sanji that total went up to eight people. They were Kuyo, Raiden, Okuto Kotsubo, Sanji, Konji, Cynthia, Chad and Tucker. The only people he had ever wanted to kill in his entire life, even before his ghoul blood.
These thoughts sickened Tsukune, he couldn't believe he felt this way about taking someone's life, it went against every principal and belief he had. And yet...
Caught up in his own mind, Tsukune didn't realize that shadow Sanji's throat was repairing itself, and closing in on his wrist as well. But he did realize it when the circulation to his wrist was beginning to die off. The pain he felt as the shadow gripped his wrist in it's vice-grip ripped him from his thoughts, and forced him to focus on the battle he was currently in. So he began to struggle against the shadow, pulling his right arm back over and over again, trying to free his right hand. With each tug he got closer and closer to freeing himself, however a blinding flash of pain hit Tsukune's gut and his body seized up.
His eyes slowly traveled downward, to where the pain was emanating from. When they reached that point he saw a shadow blade sticking out of his gut, head of the blade first. So he lifted his head and craned his neck to look behind him, where he saw the shadow version of himself on his feet, his right arm transformed into a blade and buried elbow deep into his abdomen. He had made a dire error when he froze up during battle. That's when a mouthful of blood passed his lips and slowly slid down his entire chin, and he turned his head back so as to look shadow Sanji in the eye, before opening his mouth to speak...
Outside Kurumu's mindscape...
The school Director was still releasing large quantities of his monster energy, he had to do so otherwise Tsukune would be trapped inside Kurumu's mindscape until she died, and then he would die with her.
He, as well as Vladimir, Moka, Kokoa, Mizore, Yukari and Ruby stood around the large pedestal Tsukune and Kurumu lie on, all watching the two for any signs of change. It had been a little over an hour since Tsukune went in, and no changes had been seen...until now.
It took a second for everyone to realize, but when they did the girls got very loud about it, what was it that caused them to do this? The relatively large quantity of blood that began to ooze from Tsukune's mouth was what did it.
Moka, "Tsukune!"
Yukari, "What's happening!?"
Ruby, "Director, do something!"
Mizore, "He's bleeding, something's wrong!"
Kokoa, "What the hell are you doing to him you old bastard!?"
Vladimir was the one to get them to stop, he did this by raising his voice even higher than all of theirs, "Shut up!"
That had all the girls looking at him, "The Headmaster is one of the three dark lords, he knows what he is doing! He may be a secretive bastard, but if he wanted to kill Tsukune he'd have done it a long time ago! At this point it's clear that he has some kind of ulterior motive for helping, but he is helping nevertheless! So shut up and let him work!"
The girls were all glaring daggers at the bald vampire at this point, especially Kokoa and Mizore, but nevertheless they all stayed quiet. They turned back to Tsukune and watched him intently.
Ruby also opted to clean the blood off of Tsukune's face.
Inside Kurumu's mindscape...
"Neither of you are real, your just the darkness, self doubt, self loathing, the hate and all the other things that are hurting Kurumu from the inside out, in physical form. And you specifically are just a remnant of that low life bastard Sanji, so the one who looks like me is just another part of you, isn't it?"
A creepy smile crossed shadow Sanji's face, giving the young man his answer.
His mind cleared itself of all thoughts but saving Kurumu at that point, and his resolve strengthened as he came to a decision, which he said aloud, "It doesn't matter whether you're alive or not, your the one who's killing Kurumu, so I will...destroy you!"
Tsukune's eyes began to glow red as an unrestrained portion of his ghoul energy passed through him, and he proceeded to use it to the fullest extent.
Tsukune grabbed the shadow blade protruding from him with his left hand and used his ghoul strength to force it out of him, then before the shadow version of him could attack again, he brought his left arm back fast and hard, slamming his elbow into the left side of the shadow's face knocking him to the ground once more. The young man then proceeded to grab his right forearm with his left hand, and exerting force with both arms, ripped his fist out of shadow Sanji's neck, creating a hole once more, although a smaller one this time.
Tsukune wasted no time in attacking, he brought his right leg up and shot it forward, kicking the shadow bastard hard in the chest, sending him flying backwards. Not wasting anytime the young man didn't watch what happened to him and turned to the other shadow, the one that looked like him but was just another part of shadow Sanji.
As it was getting to it's feet the young man rushed him, he slammed his left knee into it's face, causing the shadow to jerk his head backwards and stumble a few feet. Tsukune quickly followed up by taking a quick step forward and shooting his right arm forward, slamming a right jab into the shadow's gut, forcing him to hunch over in pain. The young man then raised his right arm before bringing it down hard, elbowing the shadow in the back of the neck so hard he slammed directly into the white formless ground in response to all the force behind it. The young man didn't waste anytime in following up by raising his right leg till his knee met his chest, before bringing it down as hard and as fast as he could, proceeding to stomp on the shadow's head so hard that it exploded into a black substance that was almost exactly like blood.
A lot of that substance had splattered all over Tsukune, and yet he was too angry and too focused on saving Kurumu to be disturbed by that, or what he had just done.
The body that now had no head quickly changed back into the mist it once was, before whisking over to the now standing and battle ready Sanji, before colliding with him. He proceeded to absorb it into himself, making him twice as strong as he was just moments ago.
Tsukune had followed this event with his eyes, so he was now looking toward shadow Sanji, who now looked somewhat more...existent.
That's when he opened his mouth and spoke, "I won't let you stop this thing, ever since it began I've been growing ever more sentient. And now all I want...is for this bitch to burn in hell with me!"
Tsukune's red eyes began to glow for a few moments as he replied to Sanji's remnant, "I refuse to let that happen!"
The young man dashed forward with incredible speed, and before Sanji knew what hit him, a fist was buried in his gut, causing him to hunch over in pain and spit out some of that black substance. Tsukune quickly followed up by bringing his right leg up, slamming his right knee incredibly hard into Sanji's jaw, causing his head to jerk backwards and for him to stumble a few steps. Tsukune then shot his head forward, slamming his forehead with great force into Sanji's forehead, causing him to stumble a few more steps. The young man then performed a roundhouse kick, ramming his right foot into the side of Sanji's face, knocking him off his feet and causing him to go flying to the left for several feet. When he hit the ground he rolled for a few feet as well, before stopping right as he was lying on his back. Tsukune was already standing over him when he finished rolling, and he didn't let him lie there for more than a second before he had him by the collar of his shirt, pulling him a few feet off the ground, while crouching so they could be face to face. With his glowing red eyes and the rage he held inside him evident on his face, Tsukune was a sight to behold. "I'm going to erase you from this plane existence, so that you can't ever harm Kurumu again!"
With that Tsukune focused all the monster energy he could without bulking up into his right fist, before bringing his arm back and shooting it forward, slamming his right fist into Sanji's face with all the strength he could summon, forcing his balled up fist clean through Sanji's head. Tsukune forced his arm through Sanji's head halfway up the forearm, which is where it lost it's momentum. The young man just stayed like that for several long moments, almost half of his right arm through the gaping hole in Sanji's face, almost every inch of it covered in the black, blood like substance. However he stood up after Sanji's body melted into black goop, before disappearing altogether.
That's when a thumping sound reached Tsukune's ears, it was slow and faint, but it was there. And as his eyes fell upon Kurumu's body once more he knew what the sound was, it was the sound of her heartbeat.
As Tsukune slowly approached Kurumu, his eyes lost their glow and the red faded, leaving him with his original brown eyes.
Within moments he was by her side, as he got to his knees he picked her head up and laid it on his lap. He then proceeded to try and bring her back to consciousness. But she wouldn't respond, and the thumping of her heart was growing fainter by the second, she was dying and he only had mere moments to save her, and yet nothing was wotking.
Tears began to fall from Tsukune's eyes as his desperation and sorrow began to let themselves out in his words, "Wake up Kurumu, wake up! I'm here now, you don't have to deal with the pain all alone! All you have to do is open your eyes and everything'll be okay!"
The words seemed to have no effect, but with nothing left to try Tsukune continued to beg and plead for her to open her eyes, while his tears continued to fall and crash upon her face. "Why won't you open your eyes!? I fought to get here, and I've seen your hardships, I understand! All your fear, all your shame, all your pain, you can lay it all on me! All I ask is that you don't give up, that you live! So please, please, just open your eyes!"
Tsukune then lied his head down on Kurumu's stomach and cried into it. As he did this, he failed to notice as Kurumu's eyes fluttered open, and her heartbeat began to ever so slowly pick up it's pace.
She stared at Tsukune as he continued to cry into her abdomen, tears coming down her face as well. She had heard everything he had said, she had also been aware of the battle that had just taken place with Sanji's remnant. All of it just showed why she loved him so much.
She lifted her right hand, before resting it on Tsukune's head so as to offer him a bit of comfort. "Tsukune, you never cease to amaze me, I'm so very glad you're my destined one."
Tsukune raised his head immediately at the sound of Kurumu's voice, doing his best to look her in the eyes through his blurry vision. "K-Kurumu?"
Kurumu smiled at him, "Thank you."
She then leaned in and kissed him, before she could pull away though both of them were swallowed by darkness.
Tsukune's eyes felt almost like lead, heavy and stiff, as he tried to open them up. However as he continued to try it became increasingly easier for him to do so, and soon enough his eyes were open. The sight that greeted him? A teary eyed, but smiling Kurumu, staring right back at him. "Tsukune...I love you."
Tsukune smiled in return, "I love you too Kurumu, more than I could ever put into words."
As everyone realized Tsukune was awake, all the girls shouted at once, "Tsukune!"
The other five girls then proceeded to glomp the young man, each of them trying to say something different, but their meanings all relatively the same.
Moka, "Tsukune, I was so worried about you!"
Yukari, "I'm so glad you're okay Tsukune!"
Ruby, "Master, you're okay!"
The other two however...
Mizore and Kokoa, "I knew you'd pull it off."
Now those words reached Tsukune over all the others, however he couldn't do anything about it as he was pulled in every direction by each of the girls, Yukari once again just trying to hang onto him by locking her legs around his abdomen.
Vladimir watched this, quite amused.
The Headmaster had stopped releasing his monster energy the moment Tsukune and Kurumu had regained consciousness, and was now watching the boy in silence, a small smirk on his face.
Everyone's attention was drawn to the door however as Kyouko entered the room. She yawned while scratching the back of her head, it was obvious she had just woken up a few minutes ago, especially with the way her uniform looked like it had just been thrown on. "Hey pig tails I can't find Tsukune or any of the other girls anywhere, do you know where-"
Kyouko's sentence died in her throat as she realized Tsukune lie shirtless on a pedestal, all of his girls holding onto one body part or another. But several of them looked like they had been crying, so she knew it wasn't a sexual thing, plus if it was the school Director and Counselor wouldn't be watching. Nevertheless she felt some tension in the air, so decided to crack a joke, "Sheesh Tsuki, I didn't know you were in to voyeurism. You know you could have just asked me to watch if you wanted to do that kind of thing that badly. I'm sure it'd be easier on the girls since they wouldn't have to deal with two perverted old men watching as you did them."
Tsukune's face proceeded to turn a darker shade of red than the blood sea outside at that, "Wh-what!? This is not like that at all! Not to mention that's fucking creepy!"
The girls voiced similar complaints.
Kyouko stuck her tongue out after having them going for a minute, "I'm just teasing, no need to get so worked up."
She then proceeded to burst into laughter. However she was the only one who was laughing.
In fact Vladimir was grumbling to himself, "Perverted old man am I, why I oughta..."
After a few seconds Kyouko stopped laughing, before finally asking, "No but seriously, what did I miss?"
The day was finally winding down and coming to an end, the moon was rising in the sky, and the sun could barely be seen anymore. Everyone had decided it best to not tell Kyouko about everything that had gone down, so she was still out of the loop. Tsukune had also suggested someone stay with Kurumu for the night, Vladimir and the Director agreed, before she began pleading for Tsukune to be the one to do so. And while the other girls weren't happy about it, they did agree to it. They weren't stupid, and they weren't blind though, so they all knew what was going to happen...and were they ever right.
Tsukune was currently sitting on Kurumu's bed, waiting for her to finish showering so that he could settle down on the floor. He was fully dressed in his uniform, minus his shoes at this point, but not before since he had to get dressed after the incident from this morning so that he could attend classes, and had opted to keep it on for the night. Kurumu had tried to seduce Tsukune once more, and while he was a lot more receptive of her advances, he insisted they could do so another time, cause for now she needed her sleep after such a long and strenuous and frankly traumatic day. So he herded her into the bathroom with a bra and a pair of panties, as well as one of his longer shirts that she could put on, and has been sitting on her bed since.
He honestly wasn't sure how long he sat there, but he would remember when Kurumu came out of the bathroom for the rest of his life.
She came out of the bathroom all wet, wearing absolutely nothing else but her skirt.
Tsukune's hands for the third time in the past week, shot straight to his nose so as to force it closed and keep himself from dying of blood loss. "Kurumu what the hell are you doing!? Do you know how hard it is to-"
He went silent after Kurumu interrupted him though, her tone very seductive as she said, "I can see very well how hard it is."
Tsukune then proceeded to try and cover his erection, his cheeks stained a dark red at this point. "I thought we agreed that with everything that had happened it'd be best for you to get some rest."
Kurumu wagged her index finger a little before replying, "Un uh. You decided that, not me. Besides it's pretty obvious how much you like what you see."
Tsukune was getting very flustered, but he still din't stop trying to do what he thought was best. "Be that as it may, I really don't know if this is the best thing for you considering all you've been through."
Kurumu lost her seductive tone at those words, before letting all the love and desperation she was feeling enter her voice, "But Tsukune, there hasn't ever been anything in my entire life that I have wanted more than for you to make love to me."
Tsukune couldn't help but think, "How the hell am I supposed to say no to that!?"
So with a sigh Tsukune got to his feet and opened up his arms for an embrace, which Kurumu gladly walked into. He hugged for several long moments before finally saying, "If that's really what you want, then I can't deny you."
He then lifted her head and kissed her. There was absolutely no battle for dominance with their tongues, because Kurumu was quite the submissive, at least for a succubus that is. After a while they had to part so as to breathe, but when they did the light blue haired teen wasted no time in beginning to strip her destined one.
From there the foreplay continued for several minutes, before finally...
After the two teens broke apart once more both knew it was time, so Kurumu turned around and bent over, bracing herself against the wall. Tsukune moved in behind her and flipped up her skirt, and from there the night was filled with ecstasy of the natural kind.
The day after though would be full of noise complaints from all the other girls in the dorm, as well as one very pissed off red headed vampire, one moody thirteen year old witch and one agitated snow woman.
