SupernalGodzilla: Be afraid, be very afraid! XD
the real sonic1: Well first they have to deal with the sticky situation their in. As for the blood sucking, well I understand where you're coming from, but I've already decided who he'll drink from first, as for who that is, well you'll just have to find out.
Slave: I bet it would. I suppose so, and thank you for the compliment. Not exactly how I planned to have it, but yeah basically. XD
V: Quite familiar, since Devil May Cry 3 is one of my favorite games. In fact I had actually planned to use that quote somewhere, although now I'm not too sure if I should.
Garciaman: Thanks, I thought so too. XP
Also, something I wanted to bring up, I don't know who it is since their reviewing as a guest, but someone keeps reviewing one of my other stories, asking that I update this one. While I greatly appreciate that you want more of this story to read, please don't leave reviews asking me to update, especially on a different story of mine. It is very frustrating thinking you've got a new review for your story, only to find out it's someone asking you to update, and if that wasn't enough, it's on a completely different story not even related to the one their asking you to update.
I deleted the review when he first posted it, but he just posted it again on the same story, which I deleted as well, anyway this is not acceptable. Please do not bug me to update a certain story by reviewing another, if you really want to know when I'll update, or you want to ask me to update, please just send it to me in a PM. That cuts out the really frustrating aspect of thinking I've got another review and it's just someone bugging me on something unrelated to what they want. If you ask me this stuff in a PM it isn't annoying anymore, it's just a simple inquiry and I'll do my best to answer it.
And furthermore, bugging me like that doesn't make me update any faster, in fact it makes me take a bit longer since I had to type this out instead of continuing work on the story. So please remember, when it comes to this story ask me in a PM, not a review, especially not a review on a different story.
On a different note, I was supposed to upload this on my birthday, September ninth, along with the first chapter of a different story, but that didn't go as planned. But it was for the best anyway, especially since this chapter was a lot different that day. Just a day afterwards I had an idea, so I ran with it and I ended changing up the whole chapter because of it, and quite frankly I like this version better, and I hope you guys like it to. Let me know in the review section! :)
Now then, let's move onto the next episode/chapter.
Okay then here's chapter six/episode six of season four. Please read, enjoy and review.
Kazuma turned to his men, before speaking with the utmost authority in his voice, while also pointing in the general direction of all the downed girls, and Tsukune of course, "Alright men, before we can get started we need to finish what our Mistress started, so move in and execute them!"
The fourteen soldiers saluted Kazuma as they said, "Sir yes sir!"
It was obvious that this guy liked to run things military style opposed to the lord and servant style Aqua seemed to use...
In only a few moments of time, one soldier stood before all of Tsukune's girls, their guns at the ready to fire.
One also stood in front of Kyouko and Tsukune, poised to shoot them at any moment.
Then there was one for each of the two Huang siblings. However these were just guns, human made weapons that would do inadequate damage unless each bullet hit it's mark perfectly, said mark having to be a vital point, at least in most cases. Although Fang Fang soon found out that they weren't ordinary by any means.
The young monster jumped several feet to the left, before dashing forward as fast as he possibly could, heading straight towards Tsukune and his girls, intent on protecting them. But he soon felt a sharp blast of pain from his right knee, causing him to fall and damn near slam his face into the ground, stopping himself from doing so by landing on both knees and using his arms as support. Fang Fang's eyes were immediately locked onto his right knee, so as to inspect the damage and see what had happened. And it quite surprised him to see he was bleeding pretty heavily from a small hole in his knee. He stared at it for a few moments, bewildered by what had just happened, not having even the faintest clue what had caused this damage, when he realized there was a used bullet just inches from him.
He reached out and grabbed it, before bringing it back and giving it a quick once over, however the one and only thing unique about it, was the fact that it was made of silver. "But that can't be right, silver weapons and bullets only work on werewolves."
His voice was barely above a whisper, but Kazuma managed to hear it, so he responded with what seemed almost like pride in his voice. "You're right, silver bullets won't do any more damage to monsters than normal ones will, however this isn't any ordinary silver ammo, it has been enchanted, or cursed if you will, by the greatest practitioner of magic that still lives today. With the spell that this being cast on them, these simple little constructs have the power to tear through the flesh and bone of monsters of any race as if they were made of nothing but wet paper."
Although no noise came from the student body of Yokai academy, the mass fear that was spreading could almost be felt in the air. The shocked and horrified looks on all of their faces were good indicators as well.
Fang Fang could share that sentiment of fear, as the realization of everything that Fairy Tale could really do dawned on him. He then looked over towards Tsukune and all his lovers, realizing just how much danger they were really in, in doing so his resolve strengthened a bit, so he got to his left foot, still kneeling with his right knee, and was about to get to his feet, but before he could he felt the barrel of one of the assault rifles placed against the back of his head. He couldn't help but think, "This is bad."
It went unnoticed by everyone, but Ling Ling nearly lunged at the Fairy Tale trooper who now held her little brother at gunpoint, she didn't though, she had managed to keep herself in place and keep up her calm and aloof facade, just barely though. She knew even with their magical bullets that they couldn't do more than slow her down, however they could easily kill her brother at this point, and that was not a chance she was willing to take, or would ever be willing to take.
Ms. Nekonome was just as frightened as all the students, but for their safety rather than her own. And as she fretted over it, she failed to realize that Vladimir hadn't said anything in the past five minutes. Nevertheless, she soon turned to where he was standing, "Oh Vladimir, what are we going to do?"
The thing was that Vladimir wasn't standing next to her, and as the cat teacher did a quick look around the room she realized he wasn't even in the room anymore. "Where did he go, meow?"
With nine soldiers locked onto a target, that left the other five on crowd control, all of them being ready to fire on anyone who tried to intervene, not that anyone had tried to yet.
As the seven soldiers who were looming over Tsukune and his girls prepared to fire, they were stopped by their leader. "Halt! Just what the hell do you think you're doing!?"
All soldiers looked back at Kazuma, their helmets concealing the pure confusion on their faces. However the unasked question of what he was talking about was answered as he pointed at one of them, in particular the one standing over Moka, and spoke, "Our Mistress would be absolutely distraught if you killed her! Not only that, she would kill us all in recompense! So stand down!"
The fairy tale trooper with his gun aimed at Moka did just that, before joining his five comrades on crowd control.
That's when someone else spoke up, one of the troops in fact, the one who had his weapon on Kokoa to be exact, "Then what of this one sir? If we kill her, won't we have 'The Founder' to contend with? I mean she's-"
Kazuma didn't give him time to finish, "You let me worry about The Founder, you just do as I tell you."
Even though it was a direct order from his superior, the man with his gun trained on Kokoa was still hesitating greatly. If he disobeyed he'd either be killed by Kazuma himself, or someone higher up, but if he carried this out and it angered The Founder, then not only would he be killed, but so would Kazuma himself. So with that thought in mind the trooper had some of his doubts fade, "He wouldn't order me to do something that'd get him killed too."
But just in case, the somewhat talkative soldier asked, "Then what of our Mistress? This is one of her sisters as well, wouldn't she do the same thing for this one she would for the other?"
Kazuma remained calm as he gave a rather cold answer, a ghost of a frown on his face as he did, "No. At least not if I tell her there was no other way. The cause comes second only to Moka to her, but Kokoa, she is third. If she has to be disposed of in the end, our Mistress will be saddened, but she will not seek retribution against us."
Nodding in understanding, the flunky's doubts were cleared away as he, along with his comrades, prepared to fire upon Tsukune, Kyouko who was still shielding him, Ruby, Yukari, Mizore, Kokoa and Kurumu. As the execution was about to begin Kazuma closed his eyes as he silently apologized to his mistress, "I'm sorry it has to come to this Mistress, but if we were to let her live she'd cause too much trouble for the operation to be completed without any problems."
That's when Kyouko began screaming once more, "No, no! Leave him alone! Leave him alone! Leave them all alone!"
It was obvious that they weren't going to back down, so reaching the peak of desperation Kyouko began to cry out for help, as she did so her eyes ran to and fro over all the faces in the crowd of the student body, "Someone help, help me protect them! They've done nothing wrong! They don't deserve this!"
Not even one of them reacted to her pleas, and it was becoming ever apparent that they had no intention once so ever of trying to help them out, her words just fell on deaf ears. "Not one of you!? Not even one of you will help protect them!? Aren't you their friends!? Even if you aren't, surely spending all this time here with them means something to you!"
Once again none in the crowd seemed moved, or even affected by Kyouko's words in the slightest. As she finally realized that none of them would help them, she began lashing out, rightfully so. "Your all despicable! You don't care enough to feel even a shred of sympathy!? Do you even have hearts, you bastards!?"
Those words got a few students to flinch, but it didn't do anything more than that.
Fang Fang's eyes darted about frantically, but he couldn't see anyone getting ready to help either. It caused anger to swell up inside the young man, and his thoughts did nothing to stop it from doing so. "Even after everything he's gone through here, even after knowing him for so long, as soon as they find out he has human blood in his veins, they drop him like he's a worthless, like he's nothing, she's right, they're all despicable! Stop it, I can't be thinking like that right now! I have to find a way to help them!"
Kazuma's eyes were still closed as he gave an order to his men once more, "I ordered you to execute them, so get to it. If you fail to do so the whole operation will be put at risk."
With that the Fairy Tale soldiers once again prepared to kill their targets, however their attention was quickly drawn to their leader once more...
The leader of the seventh division's eyes were closed, but that did not mean he didn't know what was going on around him, this was proven when his eyes shot open and turned a hundred and eighty degrees, before raising his right arm, which effectively blocked the strong right from Vladimir as he came flying down towards him.
As soon as Kazuma had given the order for his men to execute Tsukune and his girls Vladimir disappeared. Not even a minute later he stood on the rooftop of the main building of Yokai Academy. From there he made his way across the rooftops of the school buildings until he was standing on the one closest to the leader of the seventh division, and there he stayed, watching and listening. However as it became clear that no one was going to intervene to help Tsukune, Kokoa, Kurumu, Yukari, Mizore, Ruby, Kyouko, Fang Fang and Ling Ling, he knew it was time to intervene. So he set his sights on Kazuma, before leaping off the top of the building and soaring down towards him, cocking his right arm back as he did so, preparing a strong right. The division leader however was prepared, as he quickly turned around and blocked with a single arm, and although both were quite strong, neither gave an inch for a moment, before it ended in a draw as the bald vampire landed on his feet and had to jump backwards, so as to put some distance between him and his opponent.
All eyes were on the two as they stared at one and other in silence for several moments, most likely sizing each other up, before finally one of them spoke, "So, what do you say we take this somewhere else, you know, so we don't end up killing any of the students or your men in the process?"
Vladimir wore a cocky grin as he said this.
Kazuma responded with a small smirk of his own, "If that's how you want to do this, then by all means, lead the way."
The bald vampire's grin grew larger at this, "Alright then, allow me to..."
The several century old vampire then proceeded to dash forward as fast as he possibly could, before ramming his right fist into Kazuma's face with all his strength, sending the division leader flying backwards at a high velocity, his body heading into the forest, and yet somehow he didn't hit a single tree on the way.
As Vladimir pulled his fist back, he finished his smart remark, "...show you the way!"
With that the shades wearing counselor hurried towards the forest, just before he entered the thick of it though, he glanced back at Tsukune and his girls and let his gaze linger on them for a moment, before turning and chasing after his opponent.
All eyes were on Vladimir and Kazuma until they both disappeared, and once they were gone, the same talkative soldier from before spoke up, "We better get to what Sir Kazuma ordered us to do, if we don't he'll take it as insubordination and kill us all for it."
The other troopers looked at him as he said this, and once he finished they nodded, none of them keen on the idea of death.
But Kyouko refused to let them carry out their orders, "No! Leave them alone! Get away! Tsuki has never cared for anyone more than he does for these girls, if they died...I don't know what he'd do! I refuse to let you kill the ones most precious to my little cousin!"
All Tsukune could hear was the incessant ringing in his ears, and while that was annoying, it was merely a footnote compared to the agony his head was in, it felt as if someone had caved his skull in with a goddamn wrecking ball. And then if he even pretended to move his eyelids it sent jolts of pain through his already wrecked head, not to mention how bad the pain got when he actually tried to think. So that made things difficult since the last thing he remembered was being face to face with Aqua. Although considering how he could feel the stone ground beneath him, he was able to ascertain that he was about half conscious, so if he could just figure out why he was on the ground...
That's when it came to him, the image of Aqua smashing his face into the ground with a kick in his mind's eye, "Well that explains the copious amounts of pain and why I'm on the ground."
The pain was great, so Tsukune just lied still and tried to not exert himself in any manner, so as to not worsen the pain anymore. However after a few minutes the ringing in his ears began to fade and voices began to reach his ear drums, but their words were muffled and he just couldn't make out what they were actually saying. Soon though the pain receded, even if only somewhat, so his hearing began to come back as well, allowing him to start making out pieces of words. And soon enough he could hear almost as clearly as he usually could.
"We better get to what Sir Kazuma ordered us to do, if we don't he'll take it as insubordination and kill us all for it."
Tsukune became confused at the sound of this person's voice and words, "Who is that, I've never heard that voice before. And what the hell is talking about?"
The voice that came after that though he knew extremely well...
"No! Leave them alone! Get away! Tsuki has never cared for anyone more than he does for these girls, if they died...I don't know what he'd do! I refuse to let you kill the ones most precious to my little cousin!"
Tsukune's heartbeat began to increase rapidly as he grew frantic, "What did she just say!? Kill the girls!? No! I have to stop them! I have to stop them!"
So knowing his girls needed him, Tsukune did his best to ignore the severe pain his head was in as he slowly began forcing his eyes open and began getting to his feet.
He managed to get to his knees rather quickly, and his eyes were already more than halfway open. It only took a few more seconds before he managed to get to his feet and open his eyes enough to see clearly. Although his vision was just a tad blurry, as well as being obscured by a bunch of tiny white dots that filled his vision. As he took a step forward, and another, and then another, and then another, the dots began to fade, and once the first few vanished, the others began to follow rather quickly.
From there it only took a moment for his vision to clear completely, and what he saw angered him, almost every single one of his girls had a gun aimed at them, the one exception being Moka.
All eyes were on Tsukune at this point, no one being able to believe that he was able to get up after that kick to the head and his meeting with the stone ground.
Kyouko was the first to speak, "Ts-Tsuki?"
Then Fang Fang, "Tsukune, are you okay?"
And then that talkative soldier, "How in the hell did you get back up after that monster of a kick our Mistress hit you with!?"
Tsukune gave each of his girls a once over, his holy lock slowly beginning to glow a brighter and brighter red, before speaking, ignoring everything that had been said to him. "Back away from them, now!"
None of the troopers even looked as if they were going to do as he said, so he had to get those weapons away from his girls the old fashioned way, by force.
Before he did that though he let his eyes wander over to Fang Fang, and he felt a pang of guilt hit him when he saw the young man's wound. It looked like a bullet wound, which let Tsukune know that whatever these guys were using, they weren't ordinary bullets, but it was confirmed when Fang Fang spoke up once more, "Tsukune whatever you do, do it quick! Their using enchanted bullets and can kill anyone here they wish with a simple pull of the trigger!"
Tsukune nodded his head in understanding, before looking back over to his girls, just in time to see the soldiers were getting ready to fire again, "NO!"
Just like that Tsukune forced all of his power out, before boosting his speed with ninety percent and his strength with the other ten percent, only bothering to send the ten percent for strength through his bloodstream and not the other ninety. From there he began moving nearly as fast as Aqua had.
He appeared in front of the first soldier, the one who had his sights on Yukari, before throwing a right straight, which hit the assault rifle, breaking it roughly in half, then proceeded to hit said soldier hard in the gut with a left jab and then a right jab, causing him to double over in pain. From there he rushed the second soldier, the one who was aiming at Kurumu, bringing his right leg up and bringing it down for an axe kick, breaking the rifle he held in two and knocking it to the ground, he then got behind the soldier and rammed his knee into his back, causing him to gasp in pain and fall to his knees. He then moved to his side before kicking the trooper in the ribs, breaking a few of them, causing him to gasp in pain again and for his arms to give out and for him to fall to the ground.
And then the young man was on the third soldier, the one who had his gun trained on Ruby, bringing his left knee up and breaking the machine gun almost clean in half, and then kicking him hard in the gut, knocking the wind out of him, before ramming his foot into the side of his head, knocking him straight to the ground and leaving him unconscious. Now he was rushing the fourth soldier, the one who was trying to kill Mizore, he got close before grabbing ahold of the barrel of the assault rifle and yanking it from his grasp, and then finally brought the gun back with both arms before shooting it forward, using it more as a blunt object than a projectile shooter, slamming it across the soldiers face, finally breaking one of the guns clean in half as he did so, while also knocking the soldier to the ground and leaving him unconscious.
Tsukune then turned towards the one who had Kokoa at the end of a gun, before running towards him. However halfway there his legs gave out and he hit the ground face first, for good reason too. Since he wasn't used to moving at such speeds, and he neglected to send it through his bloodstream, not that he could with all the power he summoned, it was too much for his body to handle, more specifically his legs, not to mention his five senses and reflexes weren't at the level needed for the kind of speed he was putting out, only being able to do everything he had just done by sheer luck and willpower.
Kyouko and Fang Fang were speechless, he had just moved so fast, and he had almost disarmed the five he needed to, he had been close...
The soldier who had his gun aimed at Kyouko thought better of it and joined his six comrades on crowd control.
The talkative soldier's eyes were nearly bugging out of his head, not that anyone could see that since he and the rest of the troopers wore those dark ass helmets. He had just seen four of his fellow soldiers taken down in seconds, six to be exact, and what perturbed him about this was the fact of who did it, "He moved almost as fast as our Mistress! How the hell did he do that!? This isn't good! I stand no chance against this guy!"
So with those thoughts in mind the trooper took his aim off of Kokoa and set his sights on Tsukune, who was on his knees by now, and prepared to fire.
Both Kyouko and Fang Fang tried to warn him off this.
"Tsuki watch out!"
"Move Tsukune!"
Tsukune's head shot up as his name was called out by the two, which allowed him to notice that he was about to be shot at, but before he was someone else spoke. "Just what the hell do you think you're doing?"
Now all eyes went to who said that, said person being none other than Kokoa. She was standing upright, even if barely, her legs wobbling slightly time from time, her face was bloodied, her clothes had streaks and splotches of her own blood all over them, and yet the rage that exuded from her and the promise of death in her fierce eyes was still able to scare the talkative soldier shitless.
Kokoa proceeded to clench her fists quite tightly, as she spoke once more, her voice low and menacing, "If you don't stop pointing that thing at him in the next five seconds, I'll tear out your fucking windpipe."
5
The talkative soldier was consumed by fear at her words, and yet he didn't move.
4
His thoughts were frantic as well, "With the beating she received how can she even stand!? And what is with her monster energy, I can feel it pulsing!"
3
Tsukune's eyes were on his second youngest lover, his thoughts only of her for the moment, "Kokoa..."
2
The talkative soldier was at his wits end, he let fear take control as all his training went out the window. He turned to Kokoa with the intention of blasting her with every round he had, so as to keep her away from him. Failing completely to notice that his other targets, Mizore, Kurumu, Yukari and Ruby, as well as his non-target Moka, were conscious once more and were all getting to their feet.
1
Tsukune eyes widened to their fullest extent as he saw the fairy tale trooper turn to Kokoa once more, this time it being evident that nothing could stop him from pulling the trigger. He was just barely aware of the fact that his other girls were on their feet by this point, but he couldn't afford to waste even a single moment, so he forced all his monster energy once more to his speed, he could only use one burst but that would be enough, and with that he disappeared from his position.
0
Kokoa bared her fangs, not even blinking as the soldier began to squeeze the trigger, "Now you die!"
Just as the young vampire was to lunge forward, Tsukune appeared in front of her, before locking her in a tight embrace. Not even a nano second later, a hail of bullets was unleashed upon the two lovers, all of which Tsukune took in Kokoa's place, shielding her with his own body from all the damage she would have taken. And even as each bullet pierced his skin, muscle tissue and even some of his bones, he gritted his teeth and bared it without even a whimper of pain.
This sight appalled both Kyouko and Fang Fang, both of them scared for Tsukune's safety.
"TSUKI NO!"
"AONO!"
Then there was Moka, Mizore, Kurumu, Yukari and Ruby, who were all terrified of what was happening to the man they loved more than anything.
"TSUKUNE!"
"TSUKUNE!"
"TSUKUNE!"
"TSUKUNE!"
"MASTER!"
But it was Kokoa who had it the worst, as she had a front row seat to the damage that was wreaked upon Tsukune's body. She was forced to watch, horrified, eyes widened to the fullest extent and mouth agape, as each bullet pierced his skin from behind, before bursting out his front, causing blood to spurt from every wound, covering the young vampire in it. Each projectile fell harmlessly to the ground after leaving Tsukune's body, leaving the red head unharmed by them, which is all that mattered to Tsukune at that point.
The talkative and scared soldier didn't let go of the trigger to his gun so as to stop his assault, until the click of automatic weapon told him that he was out of ammo that is. And with that he began breathing raggedly, having been holding his breath in fear for awhile. He focused on the ground as he took several deep breaths to get his breathing back to normal. As he did this he heard people speaking, but he didn't pay them any mind. And even when he heard screaming he didn't bother to look up, figuring it was just over the fact that he had killed the ghoul.
The fairy tale trooper turned to his teammates that had been attacked by the one he had just unloaded all his ammo on soon after that, to see that all of them, except for the one who had his gun smashed into his face and the one kicked in the side of the head, since they were still unconscious, were on their feet at this point. He examined each of them for a few moments each. Said soldier then looked to his other comrades, the ones on crowd control and the two with the Huang siblings, who he noticed were all staring at where he had just used up all his bullets, as was everyone else around him, the students, the Huang siblings and the girl that had tried to defend the ghoul. Unsure of why some of them, more specifically his allies, were staring that way, he turned his head ever so slowly, to look back at his targets, and what he saw sent a terrifying chill down his spine. And the vengeful scream that came afterwards had him near tears in fright.
When the bullets stopped, a deafening silence consumed Kokoa, it was the most frightening sound she had ever heard, mostly because being this close to her lover she should be able to hear his heartbeat, but she heard absolutely nothing. And yet she knew he was alive, as the life was still in his eyes, which were staring into her own.
She finally found her voice, as she closed her agape mouth, before speaking shakily, her voice downright quivering, "Tsuk-Tsukune...why...why did you...?"
She then tried to pull back and pull herself out of Tsukune's grasp, but he refused to let her go. Tears were already falling from her face, as she demanded angrily, but the quiver to her voice still present, "WHY!? Why do you always do this!? You're always doing crap like this, are you just looking for a chance to throw your life away!?"
The young man smiled warmly at his younger love, which allowed all the blood in his mouth to begin falling out and down his whole chin, before forcing words to come, his voice somewhat hoarse as he spoke, "No...that's not it. It's because...I love you. I love you...both Moka's...Mizore...Kurumu...Yukari and Ruby...so much...you seven are all I am. Even if it was just one of you...who disappeared for good, I wouldn't be...able to live anymore, I couldn't go on without all of you. You all deserve someone as perfect as you all are...who'll protect you, love you and give you nothing less than...you're owed, the world. But I'm afraid...that I'll have to do, because I don't think someone like that exists. I'm just sorry I can't be that man, and I'm also sorry that this...is all I can do for you. I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough."
Tsukune's grip faltered for a moment, before it faded altogether, his eyes closing as he fell forward. Kokoa tried to keep him upright as she tried to embrace him, but it was useless, as he just collapsed into her. As the darkness known as pure despair began to consume her, Kokoa fell to her knees, before moving Tsukune so that he was lying face upwards with his head in her lap. She was crying harder than she had ever before in her life as she leaned down and hugged his body to hers, having a breakdown as she did. "That isn't true! You are perfect! And no one could ask for someone better than you, because they don't exist! Please Tsukune, open your eyes! You're okay, you've just gotta be! Please don't die Tsukune, please! I love you too much, I can't live without you! Please, please, don't leave me all alone again!"
However, no matter how much she begged and pleaded Tsukune didn't open his eyes and she still couldn't feel or hear his heartbeat. The young red headed vampire then proceeded to throw her head back and cry out for the heavens to hear, "TSUKUNE!"
The rest of the girls were on their knees around Tsukune's limp form as well at this point, as well as Kyouko, also crying uncontrollably, consumed by despair and filled with sadness.
All of the student body was speechless, as well as all the teachers. They had managed to hear every word, and almost every single one of them were touched and from the very bottom of their hearts began to regret everything bad they had thought and or said about Tsukune and or his girls, as well as the fact that they had neglected to help them at all. And some of the more sensitive students and teachers were crying, including Shizuka Nekonome, her crying easily being the hardest of the faculty.
But no matter how much any of them regretted it, they all knew it was too late now, the proof in the form of Tsukune's lifeless body lying limp, surrounded by his girls and his cousin.
Kokoa buried her face in Tsukune's chest and continued to cry. She wasn't sure how long she stayed like that, but as she wallowed in misery and sorrow, cursing every god she could think of, a voice, Tsukune's voice, began ringing in her head.
"I...I love you too, Kokoa."
"I'm sorry...that I failed you all...again."
"I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough."
"I know I did something, or there's something about me, that makes you hate me, so it's really generous of you to do this. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you."
"I...I love you too, Kokoa."
"I do anything and everything I can to help them, because their my first real friends. Their the only ones I've ever felt happy to be around, their the first people besides my family that make me feel loved. That's what I get out of it, although it's not a fair trade. All I do is help them with mediocre things, and in return they love me and protect me, when I don't deserve it. I can't care for them and I can't protect them! I don't do anything for them, all I do is help out with things they can do themselves, and then I'm probably just getting in the way! I don't do anything to deserve their love, yet they shower me in it! I'm useless, I can't protect them, I can't do a goddamn thing!"
"I...I love you too, Kokoa."
"I'm sorry...that I failed you all...again."
"I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough."
"Kokoa, I swear that you'll never be alone again. I will always be with you Kokoa. I love you, and I will never leave you, no matter what happens."
"I'm sorry...that I failed you all...again."
"I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough."
"Kokoa, I'm so sorry. I never meant to hurt your feelings. Your shouldn't have to ask that question, your the one who's too good for me. I love you, and I'm sorry that I hurt you."
"I'm sorry...that I failed you all...again."
"I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough."
"It was back before Moka had injected me with her blood, I had only been at Yokai academy for a month, and...well even those guys can hurt humans. Even back then I knew how much of a joke those three were, even I have some pride Kokoa, I didn't want you to know that I got my ass kicked by the weakest monsters in school."
"I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough."
Finally the young red head she pulled her head up to look at his face, before leaning down once more so as to kiss him, so as try and give him some comfort for the afterlife, doing her best to ignore the taste of his blood as she did so, since she did not care for it at the moment. She pulled away after a few seconds, before unsteadily getting to her feet.
"That's why!? You've put Kurumu on her deathbed because of me!? What the hell is wrong with you!? All of your lives are infinitely more important than mine, you should never put them in jeopardy for my sake! I'm not worth it! I'm not worth it! Fuck! Why don't any of you understand!? I'm not special in any way, at all! I'm nothing but a pathetic loser! Why can't any of you see that!? I'm not even worth your time, but here you all are saving me, fighting over me, risking your lives for me, it's not right! Goddamn it it's not right!"
"I'm sorry...that I failed you all...again."
"I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough."
"I can't! I have to get away from you, I can't control myself, I...I could have...I could have killed you back there!"
"I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough."
"O-okay, I will. Just stop crying baby."
"The...other...girls...you...won't...hurt...them...will...you?"
"I'm sorry...that I failed you all...again."
"I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough."
"Aqua...I can't let you win. My girls need me almost as much as I need them, so I won't let you kill me! I fight for them!"
The young red haired vampire's head was bowed, her hair covering her eyes, as her monster energy began to rise and pulse erratically and became visible in a matter of moments. It was uncontrollable, as it seemed to have a mind of it's own with the way it moved and pulsed. And yet it continued to grow, as if the fifteen year old had found new depths to her power she hadn't known of before.
"I'm sorry...that I failed you all...again."
"I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough."
"No...that's not it.
"I beg you...forgive me for not being good enough...forgive me for not being good enough...forgive me...forgive me...forgive me...failed you again...forgive me...I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I'm sorry...forgive me."
With that the last vestiges of Kokoa's sanity snapped and she proceeded to throw her head back once more, before screaming at the top of her lungs in rage, sorrow and anguish, her monster energy surrounding her in a cylinder, almost blinding some with it's bright color, as it shot upward almost like a beam. It was at it's maximum potency, if anyone had tried to get near it, or the other girls were even an inch closer to her, they would have been badly burned from it's mere presence.
This display of power and rage, as well as sorrow, lasted for several long moments before it finally faded and Kokoa lowered her head back to it's normal position, her eyes fixed on the soldier who had done this. The look in her eyes...was one no one had ever seen before, she had snapped, and she would not stop until she had spilt enough blood to satisfy her need for revenge...which she and the other girls knew would never happen no matter how many kills she wracked up, not that they were going to stop her, they didn't even want to in fact.
When Kokoa spoke, her voice low, menacing and full of rage and pain, her words frightened all the soldiers out of their tiny little minds, "I'm going to rip you all apart, piece by piece, until you're nothing but shreds. I'm going to inflict as much pain as possible upon each and every one of you, before ending your pathetic, miserable lives."
And then she spoke again, this time making it even clearer for them, though being much louder about it, "I WILL SHOW NO MERCY! YOU WILL ALL PAY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE IN BLOOD!"
With that the red headed vampire lunged at the very man who had riddled Tsukune with holes.
He tried to hit her with his assault rifle like it was a blunt object, but she ducked before slamming a right jab into his stomach, causing him to hunch over in pain. She then yanked the gun from his grasp before smashing it across his back, breaking it into two or three pieces, she didn't check, before getting in front of him and ramming her right knee into his crotch as hard as she possibly could, causing him to cry out in pain very loudly, as well as fall to his knees. She then grabbed the sides of his helmet, gripping so tightly that he might need surgery to remove it as the steel began to slowly burrow into his skin as the young vampire continued to squeeze harder and harder. He began to cry out in pain once more as Kokoa's grip reached it's strongest point, and his screams continued to grow louder and louder as she slowly began to pull upwards. This continued, with almost everyone around staring in shock and horror except for the girls who were with Tsukune, for a few more seconds, before finally Kokoa exerted all her strength in an upward pull, effectively tearing the talkative soldiers head right off his body, causing blood to spurt from his neck for a few moments before it fell over, hitting the ground with a slight thud, blood continuing to gush out of where the head used be attached to the neck for several moments.
Some of the blood had spattered on Kokoa, not that it was noticeable, since she was already almost completely drenched in Tsukune's blood, with a bit of her own mixed in there as well.
The young vampire proceeded to drop the disembodied head of the not so talkative now soldier, his helmet still on it, before turning to the other soldiers, who after getting over their shock, readied to fire upon her. As they began to fire, Kokoa moved at her top speed, dodging all the bullets as she did so, managing to avoid one after the other, as she continued to close in on the soldiers. The ones without weapons stood behind the ones who did, not that it would actually keep them safe. They at least had the decency to try and protect each other, so they had dragged their unconscious friends, the two Tsukune had knocked out, along as well.
Kokoa reached the one who stood in front of the others, the bravest of them, before easily sidestepping his swipe at her with his gun. She then grabbed ahold of said weapon, before tearing it from the trooper's grasp and proceeding to slam the butt of it into his helmet clad face, causing him to grab it upon instinct, as if it would lessen the pain. The young vampire then brought the weapon back, before shooting it forward with all her might, forcing it through the flesh, muscle tissue and certain organs of the soldier's abdomen, causing him to scream bloody murder, which it in fact was. The vampire didn't let up, she forced the weapon all the way through, not stopping until the barrel of the assault rifle was halfway out of the soldier's back. But even then she wasn't done, in fact, without warning, she pulled the trigger of the weapon and held it down, firing upon all of this man's comrades with his own weapon, causing many more soldiers to begin crying out in pain, as they were massacred, the young vampire refusing to let go of the trigger until she heard the click that signaled that the gun was out of ammo. And when it was the trooper's body slumped, having died from the trauma of everything the red head had just put him through. The fifteen year old didn't even bother to pull the machine gun out of the man, before letting him fall to the ground with a thud.
She then took a head count that lasted just a moment, only needing to find out how many she had disposed of with the gunfire. The number was eight, she had managed to kill eight more troopers with that burst of gunfire, she also might have injured some of her fellow students, however she couldn't care less and didn't even bother to think of it. And considering the fact that the soldiers had definitely injured at least a few when shooting at her, in the end no one would really be the wiser, not that she spared a thought for that most likely situation.
Seven of the casualties had been conscious, while the eighth had the luck to not be so, the one Tsukune had kicked in the head, who had died because a single bullet had found it's way to and through his head. The other seven had several holes in their bodies, and were now on the floor, growing colder by the second, as is common post mortem. Not one of them died because of blood loss, somehow at least one bullet had found a vital point on each one, whether it be because of luck, or the fact that karma can be a bitch, no one could know.
The last trooper standing that actually had a gun was Kokoa's next target, and as she slowly made her way towards him he began to unload all the ammo he had left in hopes of stopping her. His hopes were dashed however as she seemingly disappeared before reappearing in front of him, dropping him to his knees by slamming her left knee with great force into his gut, proceeding to move behind him after and lock his head in a tight grip. Fear coursed through him as the thought that she was going to do to him what she had done to his comrade no less than a minute ago reared it's head, but he failed to notice it was a much different grip than she had used to rip his friend's head off. Nevertheless he was going to beg her not to do it, however before he could even open his mouth, the young vampire, in one fluid motion, snapped his neck with great exertion, twisting his neck all the way around to where she could have looked into his eyes if she had wanted to. She let go of his head and he fell limply to the ground with barely even a thud.
The red head then turned around to find one of the last three troopers, one of the only two conscious ones, running at her with reckless abandon, possibly thinking that he could overpower her if he got a hold of her, which was an incredibly stupid thing to do. As soon as he was within a close enough range Kokoa spun around and delivered a hard left spin kick to his throat, ramming her left foot into his throat and crushing his trachea on impact, killing him almost instantly. And as his body fell to the ground with the loudest thud yet she didn't even spare him a second glance, already moving towards the last conscious trooper.
Even with his helmet on his fear was evident, especially in his body language, and once Kokoa was close enough to hit him, he flinched and covered his helmet clad face with his arms, however she didn't move. After a few seconds he removed his arms, unsure of why she wasn't attacking him, when he realized she now had her right arm cocked back and her palm open, stiff and ready to impale. And impale him she did, her hand tearing through flesh and muscle tissue until it burst from his back. She did not linger, she quickly pulled her arm out and let the man fall to the ground, where he would bleed to death in a matter of moments.
Kokoa then moved to the last remaining soldier, the one Tsukune had knocked unconscious by slamming his gun into his face. She came to his side, before raising her right leg and bringing it down with all her might, stomping his head into the ground ridiculously hard, damn near killing him then and there. However that was not the end, because immediately after she pulled her leg back up before bringing her foot crashing down on the side of his head again, and then again, and again and again and again...
The girls were all crying, not fully aware what was going on behind them, not that they cared. Kyouko on the other hand had a hunch, but decided it'd be best if she didn't turn around.
For all intents and purposes Tsukune was dead, but that had also been the case with Kuyo. So Moka, determined not to let the one person she couldn't live without die here, refused to just give up, so she leaned down and began to inject her blood into Tsukune through his neck, just as she had done before. She hadn't said a word to the others before she did, but they all, except for Kyouko, understood immediately what she was trying to do, and they dared to hope it would work.
When Yukari explained what Moka was doing, Kyouko also dared to hope that her blood injection would work a second time.
The blood injection began to drag on, as it began to go past the time it had taken the first time to inject enough, but this was because of two reasons. The first was easy enough for Moka to understand why it was taking longer, it obviously being because he had lost so much blood. The second however took a little bit for the silver haired vampire to figure out, and when she did her eyes widened, and she had to fight the urge to cry, and another urge to slap the boy. "He hasn't drank even a single drop of blood has he? His blood is much thinner than it should be, and his healing abilities aren't up to snuff, not to mention his body is already regaining it's warmth from the blood he's getting. If he had been drinking regularly, then this situation would be a lot less serious, he wouldn't need a blood injection, and Kokoa wouldn't have gone off the deep end. He has to partake of some blood soon, especially after this. While my blood should make his body feel like it's been fed for a little while, it won't be long before the hunger sets in again since it's being injected instead of being drank, so most of it will disappear with his wounds, meaning he'll only have had a little bit of blood, and nothing makes a vampire more ravenous than only getting a bit of blood, effectively wetting their appetite, instead of a full dosage and satisfying their hunger. Not to mention the severe pains we begin having after going so long without blood and the complete body shut down that follows after a short period of time."
A little while after the injection had began screaming had been heard from behind the girls, and it came in short and almost rapid bursts, hell they even heard gunfire at one point. As for the screaming, they had just heard the end of it, they were sure of this because there hadn't been one for almost twenty seconds now. Through it all though, not even one of the girls turned around to see what was happening, most because they were too focused on Tsukune, but Yukari and Kyouko in particular were doing it because they were sure they didn't want to see what was happening. Besides, they deserved it, so they felt no sympathy for the men that were all surely dead by now.
Soon enough Moka removed her fangs from Tsukune's neck and pulled away, before setting all the other girls's fears to rest, "He should be fine, my blood will heal his wounds no problem."
Kurumu was the one to ask a question after that, "How long until he's back on his feet?"
Moka let a smirk cross her face, "Ten minutes at most."
All of the girls broke into smiles at that, Tsukune would be okay, and that was all that mattered to them.
So with that matter settled, they all stood up, before turning around so as to see Kokoa, and what they saw disturbed both Yukari and Kyouko, and unsettled both Ruby and Kurumu. In fact it was so horrendous to Kyouko, she proceeded to lose her breakfast all over the ground.
Kokoa stood in the middle of fourteen corpses, most of which had been riddled with holes, it being obvious that they had been shot to death with one of their own guns. However not all the soldiers deaths had been the same, there were several unique ones...
There was one missing his head, one with his head facing the wrong way, showing how severely his neck had been snapped, and one with his neck visibly kicked in. Then there was another with his weapon jammed halfway into his torso, having died from the internal trauma, another with a hole in his chest and had just bled out, and finally the last one had his face stomped in, his skull having caved in, giving his head a bit of an odd shape as well as his helmet, a tiny pool of blood surrounding his head.
Fang Fang had watched on in shock and horror, having actually tried to calm her down with words, which she had completely ignored, and now he was speechless, his eyes wide and too stunned to even think of what to do.
Ling Ling had been mostly unaffected, only wincing every once in a while as it went on, and now with it being over she kept her cool. However her respect for the young vampire had gone up considerably, and she also sympathized with her and couldn't deny that she might have done the same thing if that had been her brother that had been hosed with bullets.
The young red head stood still and stoic with their corpses around her for several moments, before turning her absolutely blood thirsty and hate filled glare towards the whole student body. Almost every single one of them flinched as her eyes locked onto them, especially the ones where were on the ground, nursing their bullet wounds. But as she began to move towards some of them, her intent to kill almost palpable, Moka called out to her, "Kokoa, stand down!"
Kokoa turned to her older sister at those words, the look in her eyes remaining the same, "Why the hell should I!? If they had helped even just a little bit, Tsukune would be alive right now! I'm going to make them pay for that, and if you get in my way, then I'll just have to kill you too!"
All the girls except for Moka and Mizore seemed taken back by this. Her younger sister's words didn't faze Moka though, she couldn't blame her for the state she was in, so she did the only thing that would fix this. "No you won't, in fact your going to get your little ass over here, right now."
Kokoa literally snarled before replying, "And why the hell would I do that!?"
"Because if you don't I'm going to kick your ass. You're one of Tsukune's lovers, so act the part and help us keep him safe until he wakes up."
The young red haired vampire's eyes widened to the fullest extent as a glimmer of hope entered her now quivering voice, "Yo-you mean...tha-that...he-he's...?"
Moka gave a warm smile before nodding her head, "Yes little Sister, Tsukune is alive."
Kokoa couldn't help herself as tears began to fall down her face once more as she hurried over to her lover's side.
