A Life Changing Moment

Chapter Twenty-Third

Ron looks Fred directly in the eye and calmly responds by saying "My soulmate is Susan Bones a fourth year Hufflepuff" knowing that Susan took the news better then his brother did.

"How about you Harry?" asks Fred knowing that his is all his fault that he has a soulmate now.

Harry says kind of quietly "My soulmate is Daphne Greengrass" not mentioning to Fred that Daphne happens to be a fourth year Slytherin.

"You don't even know the half of it" whispers Ron to his best friend as Fred processes the information that he just heard.

Fred shouts at his younger brother "What did you just say?" as he hears his brother whispering.

Ron repeats what he said louder for Fred to hear "You don't even know the half of it"

"What I am missing here?" asks Fred sternly knowing that it will effect him as much as them both.

Harry explains to Fred "As part of the heritage test we all learn about different abilities that we have . . . . "

"What type of abilities?" asks Fred before Harry could finish his previous sentence.

Ron says calmly "My only ability is becoming an animagus" not knowing if everyone had the ability to become one as well.

Harry plainly states "My own abilities are being animagus as well but also limited ability of being an metamorphmagus as well"

"What about Hermione?" asks Fred with curiosity wanting to know her results as well.

"If you want to anything about Hermione's heritage test you need to ask her yourself?" says Harry before continuing to explain to Fred "We also learn anything that we have an affinity for, we could become a prodigy in, and finally what we could eventual become masters at"

Before Harry could explain anything else to Fred, the portrait hole opening as they hear someone coming into the room.

Dumbledore begins to speak "I think that we need to have someone researching about horcruxes including they are made and how to destroy them, someone to research into possible objects that Voldemort could have used for horcruxes, someone to research into Voldemort life because it would be where the horcruxes are located, and finally a team to search for the horcruxes to destroy them"

Before anyone could volunteer for parts of Dumbledore's plan, Barty states passionately "I will continue to spy on Voldemort to know of his plans concerning my godson" knowing it was his duty to protect Harry.

"Alright Barty" says Dumbledore hopefully now that they have an inside informant because his former spy was not involved in Voldemort's service as of yet.

"I will take on the duty of researching horcruxes" states Sirius because of his access to the multiple volumes of dark arts books located in his family's library.

Everyone nods in agreement knowing that the Black family has extensive dark art collection more so then either the Greengrass, Longbottom, or Bones family.

"I will look into Voldemort's past" says Amelia knowing her resources as the Head of Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

While Augusta joins in by saying "I will assist Amelia with her background search of Voldemort" knowing that she will have the time to assist in the search.

"Ladies you must know that Voldemort's true name is Tom Riddle" states Dumbledore as he has been trying to look into Voldemort's past on and off for years.

"I guess that leaves us looking for possible objects used by Voldemort" states Christopher knowing that Annabelle and himself knowing of their background in magical theory. At the same time, Annabelle was thinking about how to go about creating a spell to help find these objects.

Alastor states proudly "I shall be the one to hunt these objects down and destroy them" knowing that was the part that he wished to do.

The three boys notice the person entering into the room was Hermione and to their surprise Daphne and Susan as well.
