A Life Changing Moment
Chapter Twenty-Four
Hermione yells out "Why is he here?" as these rooms were suppose to be a place of sanctuary for her.
"Mione, we brought him here to talk in private and explain everything to him" states Harry as he tries to be the voice of reason in this situation and Ron simply nods in agreement.
While Daphne and Susan are just standing there in shock over Hermione's outburst. Plus, they are unsure what to do since they are still outsiders within this group.
Fred walks up to Hermione to say sincerely "I solemnly swear that I am sorry Hermione" but still jokingly as he says part of the phrase used to reveal the contents of the Marauder's map.
Hermione thinks about for a few seconds before saying "I accept your apologize but I have not forgiven you yet" knowing that will take time to earn back her trust.
Fred knows that is the best that he is going to get for now. So he simply replies "Okay" before cockily asking "When I am going to learn about the rest of those results?"
Hermione shockingly replies back by stating "Not today but someday in the future" not saying when that was going to happen.
"Are you good now?" asks Ron knowing the tension between his brother and best friend who was like a sister already.
Both Fred and Hermione nods their heads yes at Ron's question.
Harry notices the other two girls in the room still standing by the door and motions for them to take a seat as well.

The adults sitting around in Dumbledore's office know their individual roles in Dumbledore's plan.
Dumbledore says with a twinkle in his eye "Remember that it's important that we trust each other because we our all on the same side" knowing that the individuals in the room do not always get along have past experience.
"And any intelligence gain will only be revealed to those in this office" states Amelia sternly in remembering them that this mission is top secret.
Augusta states coldly "Do not use owls to communicate with each other about any information learn will only be discussed in person" and Alastor quickly adds to this comment "Only after asking security questions constant vigilance"
Dumbledore in all of his wisdom says "All of your demands are reasonable; however, the sorting hat can be the security check at every gathering" knowing that the sorting hat often demands to be talked with because it does get boring sitting on a shelf.
Knowing that no one can fool the sorting hat, everyone was in agreement with that only security check.
With that everyone said goodnight for the evening. Amelia, Augusta, and the Greengrass's all use Dumbledore's fireplace to floo home.

Thus leaving behind Sirius, Barty, and Alastor in Dumbledore's office with the man in question.
Sirius points at Barty to say "What about him" knowing that he could not walk around like that.
"I will be returning to my own home" states Alastor knowing that his imposter is probably better suited to be teaching children anyway and adds "I shall send you the necessary hairs for the polyjuice potion in the morning by owl" and with that disappears through his old friend's fireplace.
"We need to talk about my godson" states Barty passionately to the boy's uncle.
Sirius simply says "No . . " as Dumbledore interrupts his former student before he could say anything else.
"You need to give Mr. Potter-Black time to adjust" says Dumbledore knowing that Harry will need time to adjust to all of these changes.
"Okay" says Barty knowing he wants what is best for his godson as he pulls out a potions vial from his pocket and drinks it. Once he takes on the appearance of Alastor once more and walks out of the Headmaster's office.
Seconds later, Sirius follows behind Barty back to his own guest rooms that he calls home for now.

The six teenagers where all sitting their in silence, when Daphne had enough and said to them "I am researching this heritage test to see if named soulmates are eligible to partake in a test as well"
Fred states to the Slytherin girl "That will be brilliant" wanting to know what his abilities are.
"I will help you research" says Hermione brightly at the thought of spending time in the library as the bookworm that she is.
Susan nods in agreement as she also says "I will help as well" knowing that it could be time that she can bond with the other two girls.
