A Life Changing Moment
Chapter Thirty-One = Boy's Date
After Fred whisks Hermione away from Harry and Ron for their second official date, George quickly takes Hermione vacant seat to say dramatically, "We have been abandoned so we must stick together in our hour of need," as he is being forced into the most awkward date in his teenage life.
"That's fine by me", replies Ron quickly as he takes another bite of chocolate muffin from breakfast. As he's already nervous enough about his first ever date even if it's just getting a butterbeer together at the Three Broomsticks.
Harry says quickly enough, "Your not the only one not looking forward to being surrounded by Slytherins on this date of ours", at least he will not be the only non-Slytherin on this awkward triple date at Hogsmeade's most exclusive restaurant: Kerry's.
Soon enough the three Gryffindor boys left the castle for Hogsmeade, they walk around the village until they ended up at the Hogsmeade's branch of Quality Quidditch Supplies. They browse around Quality Quidditch Supplies looking at different broom models, gloves for their respective playing positions, and even at the newest Qudditch team posters as the former Gryffindor captain Oliver Wood is now the reserve Keeper for Puddlemere United.
George pats Ron on the shoulder to say happily, "Brother of mine its time to meet your date," as he enjoys watching his anxiety-ridden brother.
Ron does not respond to his brother's remark until he opens the store's door to say in response, "At least I am not being surrounded by snakes", as he walks out of Quality Quidditch Supplies and heads in the direction of the Three Broomsticks. While seconds later the other two leave as well and slowly walks towards Kerry's.

As Ron walks to the Three Broomsticks he thinks to himself that everything alright and be more importantly remember to be himself. To his utter surprise he sees Susan walking towards him from the opposite direction. Both Ron and Susan arrive at the entrance of the Three Broomsticks at the same time. Ron musters up his Gryffindor courage and opens the entrance door as he says quickly, "After you", knowing that he would want his sister to be respected this way.
Susan giggles at Ron's gentleman-like attitude as she walks through the open door with Ron following behind her into a crowded Three Broomsticks. After a few seconds, Susan takes Ron's hand starling him as she drags him towards a empty table.
Before Ron sits down at at the table, he says quickly enough, "I will get our drinks for us", knowing that this short trip to order their butterbeers will give him time to try to think of something to say to Susan.
Susan says "Okay", in agreement with Ron as she sits down at the table that they claim as theirs.
Minutes later, the noticeable red hair of Ron could be seen walking towards Susan's table with a butterbeer in each hand. He places one drink before Susan and the other in before his own seat.
They drink their butterbeers in silence for a few minutes before Ron being the braves Gryffindor that he is asks ,"Do you like Qudditch?" as this could be a safe subject to mention on their date.
'I don't like Qudditch", says Susan playfully as she adds quickly enough as she notices Ron's disappointment look ,"I love Qudditch"
Ron has a look of relief on his face as he learns that his future wife loves the sport like he does. He states happily, "I hope to become the next Gryffindor keeper next year", then asking another question ,"Do you play Qudditch at all?"
Susan takes a sip of her butterbeer before saying simply ,"No", then asking one of her own questions ,"What's your favourite team?"
"Chudley Cannon of course and what's yours", states Ron passionately thinking about the Cannons and maybe its Susan's team as well.
Susan shakes her head in disbelief at hearing the words Chudley Cannons before stating, "The best team is the Ballycastle Bats", thinking about the team's schedule says quickly ,"Maybe we could see a match sometime", knowing that they are schedule to play against each other during the Easter break.
"Yes", says Ron happily at the thought of seeing the Cannons in person but then in a second his face is one of disappointment as he states bitterly,"I can't afford to go", knowing that his family lacks the gold to that.
Susan touches Ron's hand to simply say, "My family holds season tickets for years now", knowing that it will not cost him anything at all.
They continue talking over another buttterbeer about their classes, friends, and families until deciding to head back to the castle.

Both George and Harry arrives at the upscale restaurant in an area of Hogsmeade that they never visited before now. They enter into the restaurant and are immediately greeted by a young man who introduces himself as Mark who happens to be the maitre d. After telling Mark the name of the reservation, he escorts them into a private dining room in which they already see their Slytherin counterparts are already seated at the round table. Both boys notices the two remaining empty seats are between Daphne and Regina.
As George sits down beside Regina and Harry sits down beside Daphne, Draco does not even bother looking up from his menu to rudely say "Potter, Weasley about time you showed", as it's proper etiquette to arrive before their schedule lunch date.
"There's no reason to be rude Draco," says the youngest person at the table sitting between her older sister Daphne and her betrothed Draco. She then introduces herself by saying ,"I am Astoria Greengrass of the Most Ancient & Noble House of Greengrass".
Regina who is a image of her mother says politely ,"I am Regina Lestrange the heiress of the Most Ancient & Noble House of Lestrange", resenting the fact that she must dine with her Gryffindor soulmate on the orders of her grandfather.
After the introductions are completed, the waitress comes over to take their drink order and tells them that she will be back to take their orders. With that the group looks at their individual menus to find what they are in the mood to order for lunch. Within seconds they have their drinks in front of them and order their meals.
Not being able to take the silence anymore, Harry asks bravely ,"Do you have a favourite Qudditch team?", thinking this is a safe subject to talk about. Draco immediately open his mouth to start talking about his favourite Qudditch team and the group talk about Qudditch in general until their food arrived.
They ate their meal in silence knowing that their previous conversation about Qudditch was over until Daphne starts to speak. She asks quickly, "Do you have any political lessons planned yet?"
"Before the first task", explains Draco as he plans to teach these lions the same things he was taught by his grandfather and father before turning to his cousin to ask, "You should help teach these lessons as well", knowing that it will be better for him not to be surrounded by lions.
Regina has a evil smirk on her face as she says ,"I will teach these lessons with you but only if he joins as well," pointing to George as she does not want to be embarrassed if she does in fact marry him in the future.
George thinks to himself that he could use this time to charm her and nods his head yes.
They left the restaurant after being inform that Sirius paid for their meal and went their separate directions.
