It was an hr. or so later. Lily I were still at the bar when her and my phones both buzzed. 'angela' they said.

"you get it," she said.

"ok."

I picked up my phone opened it: "hi."

"shawn you drunk?"

"yes. What is it?"

"you're needed at the hospital."

"i'm w/ lily."

"it's ok if she comes. Find us in an empty room 3rd floor."

"ok."

I closed my phone and looked at lily.

"we're needed at the hospital," was all I said.

"ok."

we got up and walked there. A cab would've taken too long. Once there we went up to the 3rd floor and found angela, morgan, topanga and cory. And a dr.

"hey," I said.

"shawn why do you smell. Well nevermind about that right now," morgan said.

"we;ve more imerptive matters to attend to," topanga the articulate one said.

"that's right we do. Sit down."

I sat down. Angela closed the door coming and sitting beside me.

"now who are the parents?" the dr. asked: "of jasmine."

"we are. Er me and angela," I answered.

"and I," angela corrected softly: "though it's a bit more complicated then that."

the dr. smiled: "yes i've been been made aware."

"we were out at a bar when we got the uh a, call from angela," lily said.

"hey i've visited bars more then a few times myself in my lfietime."

"so."

"now jasmine. Has sustained a concussion. I wanted to wait till everyone was here to tell the news."

"omygod," lily said.

"how long was she out for?" I asked.

"couldn't've been more then 20 mins. According to tom," topanga said.

"we're going to keep her overnight for testing and observation," the dr. said.

A concussion...she fell out of the van. Of course.

"is she allowe visitors?" lily asked.

"unfortunately no. she'll ned rest for 3 – 6 months. Sometimes more sometimes less."

"3 – 6 months? That's."

"a lot yes I know. You should probably" at the same time topanga said "we should probably. Notify her school."

"so then. Now what?" I asked.

"you can go back to the bar or go and get some rest. Either way. We'll let you know when we know more."

"um ok."

we stood.

"thank you," lily said.

"of course," the dr. said.

"what do you want to do?" lily asked me as we walked towards the door.

"i want to drink," I replied.

"ok," she said quietly: "ok."
