Let me first say I am FLOORED by how loyal and amazing you guys are. I know I've been MIA for so long and to come back and find everyone still so excited to read makes me so happy. Please be gentle with me on this one. It has been a long time since I've written anything, let alone written this fic or even read it. I do somewhat remember where I was going with this, but it's a work in progress. As always thank you so much for reading, following, and faving this fic. You guys rock. ENJOY!

As they neared the lake, Emma could feel an uneasiness spread through her chest. It couldn't be this easy, could it? Rumplestilitskin was the dark one, not some inexperienced foe. He had to know what they were thinking, he knew the future, after all. Just as the thought entered her head, a shrill and eerie giggle filled the forest. Robin drew an arrow as the other men drew their swords. They all quickly formed a circle as they searched for the source.

"Did you really think you could outsmart meeeeee." Rumple said, from the center of their circle, causing them to turn and jump back, "I knew what you were doing, I just thought I'd let you alllllmmmost get what you came for and then stop you. You will not stave my revenge. I will have it." His voice was so calm, and yet you could still feel the anger and vengeance with every word.

"Why kill the babies?, " Emma said, stepping forward, "They never did anything to you!"

"Well, well, aren't we a little touchy?" Rumple said, "but see, my unborn child didn't do anything either."

"What?" They all said together.

"Ah, didn't know that little tid bit, did ya?" Rumple said, disdain in his voice, "See, before we were sent here I didn't know, but Belle came to visit me and told me. I tried to save another of my children from being fatherless, but I killed my child and his mother instead, all because I saved your precious babies. Now, I suppose, they should all be dead."

"We could have found another way," Emma said, "we could have…"

"Could have what?" Rumple said, "Found some sort of magical trinket? Or some kind of potion? Do you really think you would have helped me after all I've done?"

Emma was speechless. Of course, she would have helped him. Right?

"In any case," Rumple said, breaking the silence, "It's too late now, Belle is gone and so is our baby."

Emma had an epiphany.

"What if the water from this lake could bring her back?" Emma asked, "What if it could bring back Belle AND make you the man she deserves?"

Rumple paused, "Well, I suppose it might work… maybe?"

"It's worth a shot," Emma said pushing past him and to the lake.

Rumple grabbed Emma's arm, "You may only use it on me after we test it on Belle. Only then, if it works, will I release my anger and not seek vengeance."

"Deal." Emma said, dipping her canteen into the water.

The group was immediately poofed to Rumples cell, Belle's body still lifeless on the ground. Emma and her mother rushed to Belle's side, a futile gesture, but heartfelt non-the-less. Her skin was cold, the color gone from her lifeless body. Emma reached from her satchel and removed the canteen of water. Snow lifted Belle's head as Emma poured, gently, the cool water from the lake.

Everyone held their breath as the minute ticked on.

"I knew it!" Rumple yelled, "I told you, there was nothing to be done! She's gone! And so will your children."

Rumple was gone in a blink, just as Belle's cheeks pinked and her chest began to rise and fall.

At the camp:

Regina sat, cradling Liam, wondering how much greater it would feel to be holding her own sweet baby. Just as she stooped her head down to smell that soft baby smell, Liam vanished from her arms. Regina looked up to see Rumplestiltskin holding the tiny infant.

"Gold, don't." Regina started, getting into her battle stance.

"Or what?" Rumple said, looking down at the baby in his arms, "You'll hurt Belle? Tell her all about how horrible I am or all the horrible things I did?"

"Rumple, stop!" Belle shouted from the opening of the tent.

Rumple jumped, startled by a voice he was so sure he would never hear again. Emma rushed into the tent, scooping her son from the dumbfounded dark one.

"But," Rumple started, "It didn't work, you were gone forever."

"There you go again, " Belle said, smiling, "jumping to conclusions."

"We should probably talk, "Rumple said, poofing Belle and himself to an undisclosed location.

Emma breathed a sigh of relief, as she heard many other sighs around her. She wasn't sure when the other mother's arrived into the nursery tent, but she was happy to see the sweet babies cradled in each of their arms. Regina held Johanna, looking sweetly down at her. Emma walked as she bounced a stirring Liam, over to Regina.

"Have you thought of a name yet?" Emma said, startling Regina from her thoughts.

Regine kept her gaze on Johanna, "Rosalie," She said, taking a deep breath, "I loved that name since I was a little girl, Rosalie Jade." Regina looked up only a moment, smiling the way only a mother does, before looking back down at the sweet baby in her arms.

Emma smiled as she watched the sparkle in Regina's eyes glow.

"It's beautiful." Emma said.

"It is." Robin said from the doorway, having been there the whole time.

Regina looked up, startled, and gently laid the infant in the bassinet next to her.

"Robin," she said, straightening her hair and flattening down her dress.

"I was sent to inform you ladies that we will be packing up and heading back to our," Robin said, halting just a moment, "respective homes now."

"Right," Regina said, moving to the door, "No need to rough it anymore, now that the danger has passed."

"Right," Emma said, nestling Liam into his bassinet and gathering their things.

"Swan," Regina said, stopping Emma with a gentle touch on her arm, "There's no need for that, we have magic."

Regina lifted her arms and nodded her head to do the same. Emma lifted her arm and looked to Regina.

"This is a big more tricky than poofing yourself," Regina said, "You will be poofing you and your family, including all their things and also poofing everyone else to their castles."

Emma nodded her head and concentrated on her task.

"Deep breath," Regina said, "slowly exhale aaaannnnnddd…"

Before Regina said anything else Emma was back in her room at the castle, and Johanna and Liam in their bassinets in their nursery completely oblivious to what happened. Killian was standing next to her, slightly bewildered.

"You could warn me next time, Mrs. Jones." Killian said, smiling and walking over to her.

"I thought it'd be a fun surprise." Emma said leaning over and kissing him as she slid her arms around his torso.

"I've got a fun surprise for you." Killian said, winking.

"Oh really?" Emma said, before jumping at the clearing of her mother's throat from the doorway.

Snow and Charming stood in the doorway, Snow softly laughing as David looked at his feet, mortified at what he just heard.

"Everyone is back to their castles and everyone for ours is accounted for." Snow said, slightly laughing as she spoke, "We'll leave you two to your 'fun surprise'."

Snow laughed as she pushed David out of the door and closed it softly.

Emma and Killian burst out laughing as they fumbled with their clothes and fell onto the bed, still stripping off the last bits of their clothes. Emma flicked her wrist, locking the door.

"Wouldn't want to share our 'fun surprise' with anyone else." Emma said giggling, Killian chuckling as he stooped down to kiss his bride.

"We wouldn't want that." Killian said, arching an eyebrow. Emma pulled him down, both of them disappearing into the thick down comforter.
