Penny: I thought writing Nagi was difficult, and that it was going to be easy after that chapter...I was wrong! I was so wrong it's not even funny! This chapter did not want to be written! And the few minutes I had of inspiration to work on this was not enough to make this a decent chapter, in my opinion. I had plans to make it were Hayato was stalking the UMA and not Tsuna, but I couldn't get his character down at all! Eventually, I said enough and decided I was going to post it. There is only one chapter left (Reborn) before being completed, and I want to work on my other fics after this is finished.
Rule VII: Do Not Be A Stalker
Offender: Gokudera Hayato
Time After Rules Instigated: 17 months
Hayato's trust in Tsuna has always been strong since after they first fought, and his belief in him has only grown over the years. Insane battles, impossible odds, wacky situations, and just weird things happening might have helped in the trust that all the guardians have in one another to be almost unquestionable.
Almost.
You see, at the moment Hayato was questioning how his beloved boss could go to lunch with a UMA. That's right his boss was Going. To. Lunch. With. An. Alien and he didn't think to tell him! The one who knew every UMA theory and conspiracy in the world wasn't told that his best friend knew one, let alone that he was going to be meeting one today.
He wouldn't have even known that his boss was meeting with a UMA if he didn't look out of his office window to check to see if Tsuna had left to go to a lunch with a business associate of Reborn's.
And he knew that so-called female was a UMA because no one on Earth would have that ugly type of burnt pumpkin orange hair, and wear so much makeup that it looked like she had taken all the products of a department store and put it on. The dress it wore was lime green with periwinkle stars on it (which clashed horribly with each other and her hair). And her shoes and purse were made of that clear material so that they matched with everything; no one wore that clear material as shoes, and why would you want a purse to be made out of clear material, everyone can see into it! So obviously this thing was a UMA.
After seeing the UMA with Juudaime, he couldn't let his ignorant boss be taken by this devious creature; It was time to employ all his Juudaime-Stalker-Skills that he hasn't used since all of them were in high school.
That is why he has ended up hiding (poorly) behind a potted plant a few tables away from Tsuna and the thing. From this distance, he couldn't hear anything, but he could see the creature hanging off of Juudaime and touching him as much as possible. And his clueless boss was lettering 'her' touch him, while he laughed at what she said! This could not stand! His boss was too nice and innocent to see what this temptress was doing. He had to end this lunch, and quickly!
Too bad for the Storm Guardian, that he had been mumbling about his plans about what he was going to do, while giving off a dark vibe. The people at the tables near him started to look at him and walk away from him. This resulted in gathering the attention of other customers, including one Vongola Boss.
If Hayato had been paying attention, he would have seen a completely different creature coming towards him then the one he was stalk...observing.
"Hayato, what are you doing here?" It was said very slowly, giving the dead-meat time to look up into the demonic eyes of what was once his beloved, innocent, boss.
"Juudaime, you are in the company of a UMA, whose intentions are unknown!" explained Hayato.
It did no good. "Hayato, if you would have done your research or asked you would know this is the famous fashion designer Lolu Bree. And that she is the one who custom makes all of Reborn's costumes. Also, you know that stalking is against the RULES!"
That name faintly rang a bell, but, Hayato had no time to think about it before he was running away from a demon, while a UMA was laughing at him.
