"I don't think that's a good idea, Kagami-kun," Kuroko warned him as he watched the tiger put a tarantula, a live one, inside their manager's locker.

"Higurashi-chan will kill you, Kagami," Kiyoshi added his two cents.

Though the two (and the rest of the basketball team) were warning their favorite redhaired knucklehead, they didn't make a move to stop the ace of their team who also happens to be a big idiot.

"Nah, it's just a harmless fun," Kagami snickered then closed the locker door carefully.

"Okay then," Kuroko blinked before waiting for their daily entertainment.

As soon as those words left his mouth, they saw their manager with Riko by her side, chatting happily. However, when she noticed the whole Seirin team byher locker, she stopped. Zeroing on the ace, she bluntly asked, "What did you do?"

Kagami smiled innocently, "Can't I just visit my lovely girlfriend?"

The girl scoffed before gesturing for him to move away from her locker, "Move."

Kagami obeyed the command and moved away, one locker away from her. He had an expectant smirk on his face.

Kagome narrowed her eyes at him, piercing his very soul, he could feel cold sweat dripping down the back of his neck.

Opening her locker, she reached up and was about to put her books when she saw something that made her scream really, really loud.

"IIIIEEEEEYYYAAAHHHHH!" Kagome shrieked, piercing their ears as she slammed the locker close as fast as she could once she spotted the crawling arachnid on her things. Her fiery orbs settled on the laughing Kagami before rearing her fist back then hitting him on the arm as hard as she could.

Kagami yelped in pain, "Owww!" He rubbed the abused spot.

"Fuck you! Hope that hurt!" Kagome yelled at him then stomped away with a disappointed Riko in tow.

"It didn't!" Kagami retorted.

The way she hits him and expect it to hurt.

"That was fun," Kuroko commented as they all watched the couple have their daily fights.

Kagami winced as he rubbed his arm. To be honest, Kagome could pack a punch. His arm even went numb for several minutes when it registered to his body that he really did get hit quite hard. Now, his arm is aching at every move he makes and he can even make out the bruising that's starting to appear.

He only said that it didn't hurt to get the last word, but God, his arm hurts like hell.

"Okay, everybody that's enough!" Riko blew her whistle. "You can go home after cleaning up."

The redhaired ace looked up and saw that everyone was cleaning up. His gaze settled on his girlfriend who was still giving him the cold shoulder as she talked to their captain about something.

"Go on. Talk to her." He didn't even notice Riko going to his side. He did what he was told and walked over to her.

Riko smiled at the two freshmen. Gesturing for the Seirin captain to finish the conversation, she left them to their own devices.

Kagami hid a smile when Kagome was still being her stubborn self. Getting hold of her wrist, he dragged her over to the court, "Come play with me."

"Don't want to. Go away," Kagome huffed as she tried to get out of his firm grip. She was about to barked at him to let go when her eyes landed on the slight discoloration on his arm, "Kagami-kun…?" she trailed off as she pointed at the bruise.

"Eh?" Kagami turned to look at where she is pointing. "It's nothing." He shrugged.

"Did I hit you that hard?" Kagome asked worriedly.

"It's nothing." Kagami repeated.

Kagome's lips wobbled and he can already see the guilt in her eyes.

"I'm sorry," she murmured as she touched the bruise lightly with her fingertips.

The way she apologizes when it does hurt.

"It doesn't hurt, Kagome."

(Even though he won't admit it.)

Kagami sighed when Kagome was still looking like a downtrodden puppy. "Play a game with me and I'll accept your apology," he smirked as he went to his game stance, the ball already in his hands.

Kagome still had that pout on her face, but she did go into a game stance with her arms wide to block him.

Kagami dribbled the ball between his feet before trying to pass his girlfriend with his girlfriend matching his moves. He managed to get closer to the basket then he slightly bent his knees to prepare to shoot.

Kagome, anticipating the move, also bent her knees.

The ace made a move to shoot the ball, but, with a smirk, he let the ball slipped between his hands, making it land on the ground.

Kagome's eyes followed the supposed movement, but then realized there was no ball. Blinking confusedly, she turned to her giant of a boyfriend to see him already starting at her with a slight smirk.

Quickly ducking down, Kagami's lips descended over hers, stealing a quick kiss, before he broke away. He grinned at her knowing he took her by surprise since she was still staring at him. Moving away, he knows it won't be long till she snapped out of it.

He was right because he only took three steps before Kagome gave chase. Barking out a laugh, he ran as his girlfriend chased him with a red face.
